I wasn't scared, but I definitely thought

I'm glad that I'm able to stay another day,

but my intentions here at the house

have became a little bit more clear.

After, like, everyone had, like, kind of winded down,

there was a couple of us on the couch, and I had asked him

if he wanted to snuggle, that was in his ear one-on-one.

I'm a very honest person, I swear.

Honesty is, like, very important to me.

I see that in you, and that's why I was upset

that I didn't get to have a conversation with you.

For me, I like to take time to sit and process through

what just happened, or how I feel about things,

so that I'm fully prepared in conversation.

You're gonna be chopping it up in the kitchen

in a challenge we call Sneaky Link.

So, here's the recipe for this challenge.

Both teams will be tasked with cooking

and preparing a three-course meal with food chosen by me.

You will be judged on your cooking skills.

But also on your creativity

and how you express yourself through the food.

Lexi has so many freaking allergies

that you have to almost eliminate

every single ingredient in order to make a delectable dish.

But I know my team is gonna kill it.

So, you're probably wondering

why this challenge is called Sneaky Link.

So, for the purposes of this challenge,

y'all will be linked together.

It'll make it a little bit more difficult.

[all chatter]

[all shout and chatter]

I'm not gonna lie. I'm really anxious right now.

I have a ton of food allergies.

So, I'm really hoping that these daters pull through,

and they execute good dishes for me to eat.

So, I know this seems really hard,

but I want y'all to remember, I'm not a snack,

I'm a whole meal.

And a three-course meal, at that.

So, put your best foot forward,

and I wanna see what y'all prepare.

And the team with the best taste test results wins the challenge.

I have the chance of getting a one-on-one.

I can hear Tyler just in the background

And then, you put pepper and salt in there.

I feel like Kalypso

is, like, absolutely just getting on my last nerve.

I'm separating the little cilantros,

but what if she doesn't like cilantro

and it tastes like salt to her or soap?

Did you put lemon pepper in there?

-No. -Put it in there, and trust me.

I have a lot of faith in her

that she's gonna pull through for us.

I'm cutting up a bunch of other vegetables.

As soon as I look over, I see the rice burning.

And immediately, I felt super bad about my team,

because they entrusted all their full trust into me.

Get rid of it. There's no point.

-Pour it out. -Look, look, maybe not.

Tyler: Thirty seconds, baby, and we done!

Tyler: Three seconds, three seconds! Two seconds!

One. Time's up.

[all cheering]

All right, guys, we're excited to see what you made.

-How did it go? -It was fun.

It wasn't that hard, honestly.

We love a challenge.

We love the competition.

Let's not forget it's not just about the taste.

and the energy that you're bringing, right?

All I know is, you guys tried putting illegal ingredients in.

They had to double-check your stuff a couple times.

-Josh: Define "illegal". -It's stuff that she can't eat.

-Woman: She could die! -That's not illegal.

Marc: To her, it is.

Y'all tried to poison our queen. We didn't like that.

Woman: At least, we didn't burn anything.

[arguing resumes]

OK, let's get started. The first thing I wanna try is the salad.

We wanted to start off by saying, you know,

we have about half the people they have.

So, we had to put in double the effort just to let you know

how much you mean to us, how much we care for you.

But it was worth every second.

Every cut, every burn, every lemon to the eye.

Every whipped cream on the shoe was all worth it for you.

You got whipped cream on the shoes? Not on the shoes!

You know how I feel about my shoes.

While we're presenting this food,

Josh is really pulling at Lexi's heartstrings

with his words of affirmation, which is her love language.

And I think this is exactly why we're gonna win.

I had a talk with Spicy before and she was telling me, like,

take these moments to really compliment Lexi,

and solidify yourself in that position.

Because people aren't really taking advantage

of the quiet moments where you can speak out and say something.

I'm gonna try the pink team, Spicy Mari's salad first.

Mmm!

-Yeah, yeah! Right? -Yeah!

Josh: Yeah! You know. Come on.

Visually, I really like this salad.

It's really, like, colorful.

Let's see if the taste matches up with how it looks visually.

Do you guys know what the spicy part of it is?

Yeah, it's the garlic.

I give it a 9/10.

I would eat that more, like, every day.

Just 'cause it's like-- I really like how creamy the avocado was.

Um, it was really good.

It's more visually appealing to me.

Um, but the spice was a little-little overwhelming.

and they all combine to make the perfect dish.

So, that's what we got for you.

So, initially, just, like, looking at both dishes,

they are both very pleasing to the eye.

The tofu looks like really crispy.

I wanna know what you did to it.

Um, so, I just lightly fried it in the frying pan.

-Yummy. Awesome. -So, the flavoring shouldn't be

too harsh, but enough that you're like,

-this is actually good. Yeah. -Lexi: Cool.

Um, and then, I just wanna know your guys' inspiration

for this dish.

Well, I love South American culture.

South and Central American culture.

So, we thought it could incorporate--

I'm a little bit Latino.

So, I tried to add a little bit of flair.

Add some heat and spice too,

and we did a little bit of caramelized plantains.

Awesome. OK. I'm gonna dig in.

I will go-- start with the purple team first,

since I started with pink team last time.

And I'm gonna taste each individual element,

and then kind of mix them up together, if that's OK.

I'm gonna start with the plantain.

I haven't had a plantain in so long.

Plantains are like one of my favorite foods.

It's good. Super yummy.

I'll have some rice.

-That crispy rice? -That crispy rice.

[animated chatter]

Yeah, and some tortilla chips.

It's a little burnt. But it's OK.

What happened with the rice, you weren't paying attention?

-Maybe not. -OK. I'm gonna have the tofu.

It looks like salmon.

It's yummy.

I like that. I love tofu.

And then...

I would've liked maybe, like, a little more seasoning on it.

But it's really good. OK. I'm really drawn to the tofu.

'Cause I love a good, crispy tofu,

so I'm gonna try that first.

That is so good.

Because our food, she, like, lights up.

Yeah, that's really good.

When you go back for another bite, you know it's good.

I actually started on the dessert.

I started with a little heart around in the chocolate chips.

And then, I added a base of sprinkles

throughout the whole thing, added some ice cream.

Then, doused it up in some cream, whipped cream.

Then, the cherry on top, a little sprinkles.

Made it with love. Everybody had hands on in this one.

We were very hands-on with the ice cream, to be fair.

Our ice cream, we molded it into the shape of a heart.

And we didn't cover it with anything

to represent vulnerability.

Because it takes a lot of vulnerability to be
