Birth of a Community

A Land for the Living

Cruinn Community

Lawful Charter 2022

The truth is that throughout everyday life,

people everywhere use and rely on Common Law

to live and work together.

It is simply the inherent way

that people conduct their affairs together.

Liken it to the roots

that bind together communities

by unconditionally upholding the life,

dignity and well-being

of every man, woman, and child.

These roots are especially necessary

and foundational in the face of powers

that seek to subvert such natural freedom.

To extend our everyday reign of Common Law

into all areas of life

means to challenge the arbitrary rule.

But the very fact that it is the Law of we,

the vast majority of humanity,

means that it only needs to be consistently practiced

by enough of us to make a difference.

In this year of 2022,

a growing number of men and women,

living under the authority and jurisdiction

of the International Common Law Court,

forming a constituent assembly

have expressed their wish,

with a determined and an ardent will

to position themselves as sovereign beings,

with a view to constituting a nascent community,

with all the inherent attributes.

We the People, living men and women

have created this lawful charter

to establish the founding principles

for our Cruinn Community.

This community will ensure

the wellbeing of the people

and will provide a common law justice system,

free from statutory authorities.

To further enhance the position of the people

we have created a body of CLC Constables,

to maintain and enforce the decisions

of our common law courts

and have created a system to provide education,

healthcare, and financial stability

through our own currency ‘the Cruinn’.

Principle One

We the people declare that,

as long as but a hundred of us remain alive,

never will we on any conditions

be brought under mandatory rule by legal statute.

It is in truth not for glory, nor riches,

nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom

–
for that alone, which no honest man gives up

but with life itself.

The Lawful Charter for the Cruinn Community

is signed below by using a sample

of the living men and women who helped to create it.

Taking the signatures

of one hundred living men and women,

‘We the People’ have established

the birth of our new community ‘Cruinn’

and our position under the Common Law Court.

These signatures will also include

the signatures of our elders.

The Lawful Charter for our Cruinn Community

is hereby recorded

into the Common Law Court ‘Book of Deeds’

on the 25th November 2022

for preservation, for all time.

Principle Two

Our Cruinn Community operates

a common law jurisdiction

and under the following laws [Principles]:

1.

No one shall cause a breach of the peace,

2.

No-one shall cause any harm to another,

3.

No-one shall cause any loss to another,

4.

No-one shall cause any injury to another, and

5.

Everyone must remain honourable

in their promises and contractual agreements.

Our laws [Principles] above are applicable

to all living men and women within our community,

regardless of their position,

this also includes our elders.

Future laws [Principles]

may only be created

by a jury of our peers

and through a lawfully convened

Common Law Court.

The founding elders of the Cruinn Community

do not have the power to create new laws [Principles].

Principle Three

The Cruinn Community

will have a body of elders [living men or women]

who will ensure

that our founding principles are adhered to.

This body shall consist of ten individuals

who will remain in position

until such time as they wish to retire.

In the event that any of the elders needs to be replaced,

the replacement will be selected from our population

and by a vote of the existing elders.

In the event of a tied vote,

the deciding vote will be given by the first elder.

Principle Four

This principle makes further provision

for the use of powers by the founding elders

to make decrees, orders, rules, regulations,

and other subordinate legislation

so as to assist with the development of this community.

While the Cruinn Community operates

under a common law system,

this charter confirms

the acceptable use of these powers

and the ability to create new in the future.

Powers created under this lawful charter

will be used to assist with the development

and enforcement of our common law principals.

The appointment of elders will determine their seniority.

To become a founding elder,

you must be at least twenty-five years of age

and to become a community elder

you must be at least twenty years of age.

Principle Five

This principle establishes the right

to make further appointments for local elders,

these elders will assist in local communities

which will be created depending on population growth.

Local elders will be used

to ensure that our founding principles are adhered to.

Local elders will also be bound

by the above terms in relation to their position.

Principle Six

Although we have obtained land

and dominion for the Cruinn Community,

the birth of this community

will only be established

when we have the signatures

of one hundred living men and women.

This number is to be taken

as a sample of the living men and women

who stand together

under the Declaration of the Common Law Court.

Principle Seven

All living men and women in this community

are entitled to their inalienable rights,

which were granted at birth.

Under no circumstances will these rights be altered,

removed, or charged for.

Other than application

by the living to join our community,

once accepted,

a new-born child of these individuals

will automatically be accepted within this community,

on the condition that

the appropriate paperwork is completed.

Any individual who fails to act honourably

or fails to comply

with our founding principles,

laws, decrees, orders, rules, regulations,

and other subordinate legislation

will lose their status within this community.

This to be confirmed by our founding elders.

To become accepted within the Cruinn Community

you must be living,

this will be confirmed

with your birth declaration

with the Common Law Court.

You must also have obtained

ownership of your Fictitious Name

by claiming it through an application

on the Common Law Court website

and finally you must also be in possession

of your own CLC Currency wallet.

Founding Orders

Order No.10001/22 – Lawful Remedy

Any living man or woman who has suffered a wrong

at the hands of another individual

has a lawful remedy under common law,

to address the wrong done.

The reason for this is very simple:

Since all are equal under the law,

then each individual has a duty of care to others,

such as to make sure that

–
whatever action we take towards each other

–
we have the common law principles behind those actions,

and thus we can live together in peace.

Order No.10002/22 - Harms

In common law, any individual who has

–
or attempted to – or has conspired to

–
cause damage to another individual,

will have committed a wrong,

these wrongs are known as “harms”,

and are subject to our founding principles.

This includes ‘harassment’,

such as ‘threats with menaces’,

which is considered to be ‘psychological damage’,

and also ‘defamation of character’,

which is also considered to ‘damage a reputation’.

Order No.10003/22 – Enforcement

Any individual that has suffered a harm

by the actions of another individual

will be able to address this,

by using a common law process [commercial lien]

to correct the said wrong.

If common law has been used

to address the said wrong[s]

and the process has been concluded [perfected],

an application can be submitted

to the Common Law Court,

requesting a decree and/or court order

to assist with the enforcement of the decision.

Order No.10004/22 – Authority

This order confirms

that although our elders ensure compliance

with our founding principles,

authority will at all times remain with the people.

Any decree or order issued

will only be obtained

when it has been established

that the provisions required

under Order No.10003/22

has been complied with.

All decrees and orders will be dated and signed

by the court officials,

having obtained the appropriate ruling

from a jury of our peers.
