welcome back to another tutorial video

and in this video

I like to talk about something called G Suite

so Gmail being one of the most popular email clients

in today's age

is actually under a suite of apps developed by Google

so hence the naming G Suite

and G Suite is often recommended for people

who needs email hosting for their businesses

and in fact

G Suite is much more than just email

it also includes a variety of apps

and features that comes in um

that can be quite handy for your business

so you probably are already familiar with them

in fact some of the apps includes Google Calendar

which help you keep your schedule organized

Google Drive

which allows you to store

access and share files

Google Docs and sheets

which allows you to create and edit documents

so this is actually an optional thing

it's just nice to know

and a couple of students has written in

to inquire about this

so I just want to shoot you a quick video

on how you can do that

so one of the main benefits of G Suites

is that it allows you to create

Gmail accounts with email addresses

with your business domain name

so what that means is

for example um

we here in Small Bowl

so Small Bowl is our company name

and we have a company website called smubble com

now anyone that wants to engage with us

or even yourself

that requires support

you guys will usually write into support at smubble com

instead of a generic Gmail account

for example

small Bill support at Gmail account

so if you have an email address

that has your domain name

it instantly lifts the email address

and it builds that credibility

when someone is actually writing into us

you can see in any business

for example

Facebook right

so if you want to write into their support team

is support at Facebook com

if it's clickfunnels

it's support at clickfunnels com

so this is the main focus that like to talk about today

on how you can set that up using your own domain

and connect it to G Suite

so that you're able to

for example

manage this account under the email client

Gmail right

because most of us are already familiar with Gmails

email client

and it makes it a lot easier

if it's using the Gmail platform

so in fact a lot of our email addresses for example

our contact email address

it's contact at smallbuild com

so this can really be anything if you want it

you want a specific email address for sales

you could put sales at your domain com

so it's really handy

and the only downside to it is that it's not free

but it's really cheap and affordable

if you're looking to scale your business in the future

um so it's just 5 USD per user per month

or if business you want more features

it's 10 USD per user per month

and if you have a team that you like to skill

in the future

it's best that you have your company or organizations

domaining just behind the

staff or employee that you have

so this thing is completely optional

it's just something I want to walk you through

real quick so what you need to do is

in fact you're offering a free trial

you can go ahead and give that a go

so just start your free trial

and fill in the sign up form

so in this case

just for demonstration I'm just gonna put support

and small but in your case you know

your first name and last name and current email address

see if this works

okay great so does your business have a domain name

so yes I believe

you have already signed up for a domain name

in previous pre training or tutorial videos

so in this example

I would like to use one of our test domains

just to show you an example

so you've just key in your domain name over here

click next

and then just to confirm your dominion again click next

okay great so then you can already see it will be at

domain name dot com

so this is where

you can set up that main administrator email address

so to start off

you could do admin

or you could do your name

so that this essentially is

the admin email address for your G Suite account

and you can later then add different users

like support domaining com

sales dominion com

so I'll just go ahead and put admin

and key my password over here

okay wants me to verify with bicycles

just one more here

cool

there we go click on agree and create account

alright so there we go

so that is how you create a G Suite account

just a couple of things that you need to set up

which you can do at a later date in your convenience

is setting up the G Suite settings so now

we've already done the setting up of a business account

what you can do is add people to your G Suite account

so say so you can create user accounts

for everyone on your team

so that they can sign into their own business email

and have their drive calendar and so much more right so

for example

we already have admin at II test 1 0 2 com right

so for example if I'm

if you have a staff name Michael for example

and his surname is

just for demonstration purposes

so then you can create a brand new email address

so Michael at

you know your business organization

domain name.com

so this personalizes his email address

it builds credibility

and you're able to leverage on Gmail's platform

right so this could be support at domain name.com

salesatdomain name.com

so it's really handy if you have users to add

but in this case I'll just go ahead and do

I've added everyone

you can later add more people

don't worry

but this just the initial setup

okay so the

one of the most important things after you have done

registering and signing up in all these

is to verify your domain

because you know um

anyone could sign up for that domain name

and you can key in random email addresses

and domain names

but you need to really verify that the domain is yours

so that you can get started with g sweet

so there are different ways you can verify your domain

so these are some of the different methods

add a domain hose record

txt or C name to your DNS settings

upload HTML file to your domain name

added domain hose MX record

so this might be pretty technical

if it's the first time you're doing it

but there's a whole bunch of guidelines over here

to which you're able to follow

so for example

we could do add a domain host

so what you need to do is

log into your domain host website

so if your domain name is with name cheap

you'll need to log into your name cheap back end

for example

this name cheap account

you could

then go under advanced DNS

and add in brackets so

in this case because my website is hosted on Cloudflare

what I'll do is going to Cloudflare

and

if you're not familiar with Cloudflare

you can actually check out

my video on custom domain and how

if you want to connect it to click funnels

you will need a free Cloudflare account

and with any hosting or

you know domain registrar

it will always be a place for you to change your DNS

so in this case

what I'll do is just follow the instructions

I've logged in

so go to Control Panel for your domain

so because mine is in Cloudflare

I already know how to go to the DNS section so

if you're using different hosting

you're using different domain registrar

you can actually see detail instructions

provided by Google

based on the different

company that you're using

so there are whole whole stuff here

but it will almost always be very very similar

so once you've done that

I'll go ahead and take that right

so I just need to follow whatever that they

recommend over here

add a new TXT record to your domain so

what I'll do is I click on my Cloud Flare account

I'll choose a

txt

put alias

as recommended

and then paste this verification code

provided by Google

so that I can

prove that this domain name is actually owned by me

so the alias here and

key in the verification code here and click on save

and I'll add a brand new record

alright so that's that

save the TXT which I've done

now the same thing same thing

go back to control panel which is where I am right now

okay the next thing is to add new MX records

right so that MX records are actually

just records that

direct your email to your G Suite or Gmail inbox

so it's pretty technical

if you have the first time you are hearing this

but it's also pretty straightforward

so just the same process

go to your DNS section

and

search for MX which is right here

and just follow their instructions

so priority 1

alias

just paste the server name priority 1 there we go

and now add

5 alias and the value

so 5 oh sorry it is

5 and my value click save and add

I'll just quickly do the rest

you can take a look

it's really straightforward

just keep adding rackets

according to your recommendation

this is just an initial setup that you need to do

so it really helps you to

learn different technical side of things

but it's also really

it's good knowledge

there we go

so once you've done all that

delete existing MX rackets

okay let's just check if we have some old MX rackets

we have one over here

I'll go ahead and delete that

what this does is

we point all of our email

you know the hosting

so that Gmail handles everything

and that is what we want to achieve in this

tutorial so I've done that I've saved

so it says here typically

you start to receive emails sent to your domain name

at G Suite in 24 to 48 hours

so it may take up to 72 hours

so just give it a couple of days and then come back to

see if your domain has been verified

but if you have done all of the different steps

you will eventually get verified

and once it's verified

you'll be able to use G Suite

your Gmail account connected to your business Dominion

so click on this

and then finally click on verify domain

and set up email

all right so

cool so the next thing is to choose the plan

you can go ahead and do that

and choose the different plan that

you like to connect to your t suite account

whether it's $10 per user per month

the different advantages and benefits are over here

but that's really what I wanted to show you

is to just quickly set up your

GCG Suite account and link it to your domaining
