the action
at the Little Bighorn

in the year 1876.

of incompetence

and neglect of duty

instituted against
Major Marcus A. Reno,

staff officer under command
of Colonel Custer,

during the action
in the territory of Montana.

to the command
of Colonel Custer.

And I consider it fortunate

that I am able

to set straight the record,
and clear Major Reno

of the charges so unjustly
leveled against him.
