=Marry Me, My Queen=

=Episode 15=

General, General.

Our fields suffered a plague of locusts.

And Gu Qingzi's exorbitant taxes

drove us to despair.

Then, we risked our lives

to assassinate Gu Qingzi

and make you the ruler!

We support you, General.

You know nothing about politics.

Confess.

Who taught you this?

Nobody.

We're just getting rid of the evildoer for the people!

According to your accent

and the plague of locusts,

are you from Linzhou?

Yes, General.

The relief fund was appropriated to Linzhou half a month ago.

Don't you even know?

The Treasury is depleted.

What fund?

The ransom.

It's not money in the box we got?

I don't know.

We dumped it, anyway.

Is that all?

We don't even know what's in it.

What can we return to Yinzhi?

You don't confess, huh?

Take him away and kill him!

I'm innocent.

- I'm innocent, - Go.

General!

He can't say anything now.

What about you?

I'll confess.

We... We're not refugees.

Gu Qingzi's reign

has nothing to do with us, either.

We were hired by Gu Yuanting.

Uncle Yuanting?

Killers are mostly from the ranks.

If they fail,

they usually kill themselves,

in case their families are involved.

Disguised as refugees,

you framed the Queen to exonerate the one behind you.

So, you wouldn't easily kill yourselves.

Perfect for interrogation.

Not the time to celebrate yet, General.

Gu Yuanting has many more men

in Jun'an City.

He has to come back alive, first.

(Inn)

Honey.

You made some arrangements,

but why didn't you tell me before?

My bad.

It was quite an emergency.

I had to do it quickly

so that it would be settled before your return.

You solved the problem for me

but didn't let me interfere.

You didn't even tell me anything.

It's the rear area of my military camp.

I planned to draw out Gu Yuanting on our honeymoon.

Unexpectedly, he ran risks

to have you assassinated.

Luckily, I've cut off his force.

By then,

after you wipe out Gu Yuanting's force

in Jun'an City,

you'll root him out.

Violent plans, honey.

Gu Yuanting has been in prison.

He admitted

that he sent batches of killers.

But he denied

having the City Defense Map stolen.

It means

some other forces

are making trouble under my nose.

I'm not sure about that.

Sir, His Highness collapsed.

Soldiers are coming to search his house.

We should leave.

Have this sent to Gu Qingzi.

Make sure she sees it personally.

Aye.

(Inn)

Your Majesty, what are you thinking?

I'm thinking...

Since the day you married me,

you've been expecting this day.

It's wise of you, Your Majesty.

I indeed...

Why?

Why did you do this?

It's time to tell you everything, I guess.

Come with me, please.

Your Majesty.

Your Majesty...

It's nothing, compared to the King.

I'll put it in your room.

Stop.

Now that you want to be frank,

I'll be straightforward, too.

This...

I stole it from your mansion.

Go to my mansion with me

and I'll explain everything to you.

(Tablet of Gu Yuanhan, my savior)

You...

You have a house for my father's tablet?

You even drank with it.

This is your father's house.

Before he died,

he had these houses in different towns.

Thanks to you, I got out of danger.

After I help her stabilize her power,

I'll retire from the court

and drink with you every day.

Isn't it great?

So, my father had so many houses.

You...

You can't be my half-brother, can you?

His Majesty built these houses,

to adopt those orphans.

I was saved by him, too.

I'm willing to devote my life

to His Majesty's descendants.

This is His Majesty's testamentary edict.

I was asked to protect it with my life.

(Testamentary Edict)

So,

the ruler you talked about

is my father?

What are they talking about?

I can't hear clearly.

We fought wars for three years

when a lot of soldiers died.

What did we do all this for?

I'm not

doing everything to replace the ruler,

but to help the ruler.

(So, he was talking about my father.)

Strolling?

Stop pacing up and down.

How annoying!

Your Majesty,

I came to ask

whether I upset you.

Be confident.

You don't need to ask.

I came to apologize.

Don't kneel. Don't.

Looks like I would torture you.

You're the Queen, after all.

I forced you to marry me

so that I could clean up

the evil ministers

in the name of the King.

I didn't mean to upset you.

Please punish me, Your Majesty.

Is that all?

And...

I was so rash

that I used you as bait

so that you were wounded.

And?

I...

Having poor martial arts.

I got wounded in the fight

and became your burden.

I'm quite useless.

Yes, you are.

Think about it.

What have you done since you married me?

You didn't do what you should have

but did everything you shouldn't have.

I get it.

You finally know what to do.
