=Marry Me, My Queen=

=Episode 2=

(Queen's Palace)

Grand Mentor Qi.

Your Highness,

take good care of Her Majesty,

get rid of Li Yinzhi,

and become the King soon.

Then you would enjoy

your good fortune.

Yes,

Uncle.

Stick to our plan.

My king,

how do you like your bedroom?

(Want to be my husband?)

(Not that easy.)

(Try the poisonous needle first.)

I can't wait to see

how you look in the wedding robe.

(Try to hurt me?)

What happened?

The robe doesn't fit you.

I'll have it altered.

You're so nice to me, Your Majesty.

Let me pencil your eyebrows.

You don't have to.

I do.

You don't.

I do.

You don't.

Do I have to?

Yes.

Why is your hand shaking?

I'm excited.

When I think of

our wedding night,

my hand shakes with excitement.

You want to pencil my eyebrows, huh?

Come on.

You seem to be very skilled.

During the years of battles,

a lot of soldiers were dead.

Most of them were mutilated.

It was me who cleaned their faces

and penciled in their eyebrows.

At our wedding,

don't be so excited, Your Majesty.

Your Majesty, what makes you so happy?

Help me. I was pricked by the poisonous needle.

What poison did you use?

Your Majesty, you wanted Li Yinzhi

to lose control of his body, right?

So, I made a poison

that could keep him laughing.

Loser.

The antidote.

Your Majesty, why are you still here?

Your Majesty, time for the wedding.

Come with me.

Your Majesty...

First bow to Heaven and Earth.

Second bow to ancestors.

Third bow to each other.

(Now that you want to marry me,)

(I'll make it happen.)

(Step into my trap, then.)

Her Majesty asked me to serve the wine.

My king,

sorry to have kept you waiting.

Oh, honey, you came off a little needy.

Here I am!

(The King is in my hands. Don't breathe a word.)

The King is in my hands. Don't breathe a word.

Somebody come! The King was kidnapped!

(Li Yinzhi,)

(whatever your plan is,)

(everything will be under my control.)

Who? Get out of the way!

Take him away.

(Queen's Palace)

Oh, my poor husband.

He was kidnapped on the wedding night.

What a tragedy!

How pathetic!

General Li was gone inside Queen's Palace.

The kidnapper must have inside helpers.

Every concubine must be investigated.

Marquis Anle, what do you mean?

General Li is an experienced fighter

with great martial arts.

He couldn't be easily kidnapped.

Unless... he was poisoned.

But which concubine

could have poison?

I received a secret report.

Noble Consort Yun was seen using poison.

Nonsense. A pack of lies!

Your Majesty,

Noble Consort Yun is loyal to you.

Don't believe any one-sided statements!

Anyway,

have Noble Consort Yun's bedroom searched

and we would know.

You!

Your Majesty.

Your Majesty,

Noble Consort Yun is gone.

What?

Your Majesty.

I've got a headache.

Hurry. Get me back.

Be careful, Your Majesty.

Your Majesty.

Your Majesty?

She isn't in?

I am.

What took you so long?

I have something to tell you.

Listen to me first.

Did Qi Yang or Gu Yuanting follow you?

No.

Your Majesty, what happened?

They're already suspecting

that you poisoned Li Yinzhi and kidnapped him.

Help me, Your Majesty.

Qi Yang gave me the poison.

He forced me.

But I didn't use that poison.

I used what you asked me to make.

Fine.

In the end,

I still have to take the blame.

Don't worry, Your Majesty.

If someone has to die, it'll be me.

I swear to keep you safe

and never betray you.

Good boy.

You never disappoint me.

Well,

in the name of hunting the kidnapper,

make a scene at Grand Mentor's Mansion

and Marquis Anle's Mansion.

Then they would leave me alone.

What was I about to say?

(My plan to kidnap Li Yinzhi)

(was really wise.)

Your Majesty.

Your Majesty!

The Court of Judicial Review received the kidnapper's letter.

(There's a real kidnapper?)

What does the letter say?

They won't release General Li

until we pay a huge ransom.

(Li Yinzhi must have been kidnapped)

(by one of you.)

(When I figure it out,)

(that guy would be screwed.)

I'll pay.

General Li contributed a lot to our city

and he's my husband.

However huge the ransom is,

I have to redeem him.

Then Your Majesty, by tonight,

please raise 10,000 taels.

How many taels?

10,000 taels.

Of gold!

I would never

give up on any citizen.

(Fleecing me of my money?)

I don't have enough money, so...

My ministers,

for General Li,

lend me some money and I'll return it.

One more thing.

Someone was required to deliver the ransom alone.

It's a dangerous mission,

but very important.

As far as I see,

you should go personally, Your Majesty.

Me?

But I...

I think

Marquis Anle made a good point.

(You not only want my money)

(but also my life.)

Fine.

(Let's wait and see.)

(Queen's Palace)

Your Majesty.

Your Majesty.

Have you got the money?

Your Majesty,

here's the money I extorted from the ministers.

Look. 10,000 taels.

Who on earth kidnapped Li Yinzhi?

And who asked for the money?

I was about to make a scene at Marquis Anle's Mansion

when the letter was delivered.

Your Majesty, shall we

or shall we not deliver the ransom?

We shall.

But if I just give the money,

I would be a fool.

Hold it.

Your Majesty, what's this?

It's waterproof and sticks to the cloth.

When the kidnapper touches it,

he can't get away.

Put down the ransom.

(Li Yinzhi?)

(So, you've got away.)

(I'd like to see)

(what you've had up your sleeve.)
