The routine I set up for Ramadan must be carry on

The best time to study Quran is in the morning but...

That's really not easy for me as my children wake up at 6am...

So when it is nap time, I try my best to take advantage of this precious time

I have set realistic goals...

I only memorise 2-3 ayah a day with breaks

As we say, "slowly but surely" !

Have you noticed when you start your day with Quran, the rest of your day is more productive ?

Temporary highlighting the words I always forget

This circle means "completed" and is my biggest satisfaction of the day ahah

The spice jars I always use must be clean and fill up

Organising is my favourite thing to do in the house

I find it so satisfying

The spices I use almost everyday are coriander, turmeric, chilli powder, pepper, salt and cumin

Cleaning is satisfying too for me

In the evening, I don't like to go to bed while my house is not clean

But I am easy, my house is not a museum

And الحمد لله two toddlers are living here and drawing on the walls haha

Raising children is the hardest thing ever...

We are having a good time, but it is not easy everyday

I appreciate my mum more since I became a mum

And I feel what she must have gone through by raising 4 children

I always ask her some advise whenever I need to

Sometimes I find it so hard to study Islam + raising children + looking after the house

But I hate spending a day without opening my Quran

So I had to find a balance between all of these...

I still need to do some adjustments...

My jars are ready !

I also reuse the glass jam jars

I am trying my best to make my daughter participate

She is very curious and she loves helping me

She goes to nursery 3 days a week

I love to have her by my side

I even miss her when she is not at home

But when she is at the nursery, I have more time for myself... which I love too.

She jumped 10 times and I showed you the 9th time ahah

I keep all my spice packets in this basket

We are having a really hot day today

But for how long ?

In England... it can be very hot and 30 min later it can be snowing ahah

There is always a good reason to have an iced coffee ahah

Time for morning snack for my daughter and I

What we do best is playing and chilling ahah

She doesn't want to share her cookies ahah

She is using acrylic but she deeply thinks it is watercolour...

That's why she is using water ahah

And she is using all of my expensive watercolour paper ahah

But that's okay because she is an artist ❤︎

I just let her express her creativity

When she was 1, I used to do an activity with her we still do from time to time

That's actually really fun !

Add little bit of water in 3 different jars with 3 different colours

We are using food colouring

Mix well

Add one tsp of baking soda in each jar and mix well

Finally, pour vinegar into the preparation and enjoy the chemical reaction !

She is 3 and half now and she still love it a lot !

Always use a tray if you do this experience indoor.

I feel that I am discovering a treasure each time I cut this fruit

I always think of small ruby stones when I see this amazing colour

Wash the ruby stones in water so the leftover peels stay on the surface

After being a watercolour artist she is now a chef ahah

She still doesn't get the quantity importance ahah

No matter how hard it is to raise a child, it is a temporary time...

Children are growing, time is flying... this period will finish quicker than we think

These times are precious and will be remembered for a long time إن شاء الله
