=Episode 23=

(I'll Use Ten Trophies To Get a Chance to be by Your Side.)

Since you used the Peachy Peach account

to post news that would negatively

impact our company's image

and you insist on terminating your contract,

I'm now here to talk to you about your termination.

(New Media Internet Celebrity Agency Contract) According to the contract,

(New Media Internet Celebrity Agency Contract) you unilaterally proposed termination,

so you need to pay the company

a penalty of three million yuan.

I have no money to do so.

No problem.

I will have to take this to court

to claim compensation then.

It's written clearly in black and white,

you are bound by this.

What a pity.

Your promising life ahead

has ended before it even started.

Ms. Kiki,

do you have to do this?

Is there no room for negotiation?

Liang Tao,

as long as you publicly apologize, admit your mistakes,

and make whatever content that

the company asks you to,

and follow their instructions obediently,

then I'll let this incident go.

Otherwise,

get your three million yuan ready.

(Liang Tao is terminating her contract.)

(I think the penalty sum will be huge.)

(If you really like her,)

(you should follow up on that.)

(Her phone number is)

(185-2958-772.)

Hello, who's this?

(It's me, Jiang Jiaojiao.)

Were you required to pay three million?

How did you know?

That's not important.

You signed yourself into such an inhumane contract.

What were you thinking back then?

They told me that

this is the industry template.

It's the same for everyone joining the industry.

I have consulted a lawyer.

They say the chances of winning are slim.

The best solution now

is as Ms. Kiki said,

apologize and go back to hosting.

So I thought about it.

I'll accept my fate.

I signed the contract,

I did those deeds,

I'll go back to obeying their plans.

Don't you do that.

Give me some time.

I'll get you out of this.

How would you do that?

I know their boss.

When they played tennis,

my dad introduced me to them.

(Alright, don't worry.)

Hello.

Feng,

it's been a while.

How did you have the time to call?

What?

What did Jiang Jiaojiao say?

Girlfriend?

I didn't know about that.

No, don't.

Don't mind him.

Do what you need to do.

You don't need to save face for me.

No,

Feng, really.

That...

Look,

I'm so sorry about that.

Alright, alright.

That'll do.

This time around,

I owe you one.

Dinner's on me next time around.

All right.

Sure.

That's it.

Bye-bye.

(Dad)

(Jiang Jiaojiao,)

(you've really grown capable.)

(You dare go around using my name)

(to get favors from others?)

(You really like Miss Host-and- Internet-Celebrity, right?)

(Starting this month,)

(your living expenses, your pocket money,)

(I'm not giving you a single cent anymore.)

(If you really are capable,)

(stand on your own feet,)

(and then we'll talk.)

There goes my money.

Jiang Jiaojiao,

thank you!

They finally gave in.

I just need to pay them two months' worth of operating costs,

a total of just 200,000,

and it will all be over, a peaceful termination.

Is that all?

There's an additional clause,

that is I can no longer be a host.

Aren't they just sabotaging your livelihood?

As long as this is resolved,

I no longer want to do this anymore too.

This industry and its people are just too complicated.

It's not somewhere that I thought

I can make it on my own.

In short,

I am really grateful to you.

It's nothing.

That said,

do you have money?

I'll go back and ask my mom

or my dad for some.

It's okay.

That's not a lot of money,

I'll lend it to you.

(Go Karting)

Can everyone give me a minute?

Today, the reason why all of us didn't have to travel around

was because Liang Tao found this place for us.

Please everyone thank her.

Applause.

- Thank you, sis. - Thank you, sis.

You're welcome.

I heard Jiang Jiaojiao say

you guys were kicked out

everywhere for training.

I've been to this court for video shoots before,

and I'm friendly with the person-in-charge.

It's nothing.

Go on with your training then.

There's not much time left.

Come on, move.

Two more days until the game.

Don't slack off.

Liang You'an, come here with me.

What is it?

If there's something you can't handle,

you can ask for my help next time.

You seem to be quite free recently.

Did you lose your job?

I was the one who fired them.

The heck?

Who is that tennis player?

You better come out.

- Mister. - Was that you?

Mister, mister.

I'm sorry, mister.

Calm down.

I'll handle it for you.

Go back to your practice.

Liang You'an, you should go too.

Can you handle it?

This is nothing.

Hello, Alex.

Just get back to training.

Time is precious.

Don't you dare leave.

Mister, here.

Take it easy.

Listen to me.

It was our fault.

I'll pay you for the loss.

That ball of ice cream,

that's ten yuan,

I'll give you this tennis ball

as a souvenir.

Dry cleaning will cost 20,

but you can just go back

and wash it by hand.

As a gesture of apology, I will transfer 100 to you.

You're not at any loss here.

Fine.

I'll let it slip this time.

Fortunately, no one was hurt,

else it won't be something that you can solve with money.

I'll go and speak to the court manager right away.

Don't you worry.

I'll let them increase the net height,

so you can rest assured and

have your ice cream here.

There won't be next time.

I got it.

Be careful next time.

Guess you didn't actually handle it.

The money did all the work.

Don't mention it later.

I want to save some face

in front of Liang You'an.

What's the grudge between you two?

We share the same surname.

You're the one who needs help,

why are you still acting tough?

You don't understand.

I'm here for business.

Understood.

It's a secret.

I'll keep it confidential.

We've known each other for so long,

I don't have your WeChat.

Should we

add each other?

Sure, scan me.

Approve me.

How much was it just now? I'll pay you.

I won't cook today.

Let's eat better food for the game today.

You've been practicing,

so you're sure to be fine.

Just relax and focus on playing.

Great breakfast makes

sure champions.

Thank you, Uncle An.

Uncle,

I'll be honest.

Your cooking tastes better than this.

I really like honest kids like you.

There's someone who knows me now.

Enjoy the meal.

There's no hurry. Fill yourself up then we'll go.

What time is the game?

I'll pay for it today,

you two take a taxi.

Don't count me in.

I'm not going.

It's fine if you don't,

but then you don't deserve meat.

I have sent the proposal over to you.

(The 5th "Elite Cup" Tennis Club Tour) Daniel will be coming to

watch the game too.

I will take you to him.

You two can chat for a bit.

I think he is most likely to invest.

I've also recently

made some calls for you

to my good friend.

He is in charge of the Champions Fund

youth sports project.

I think he'll be able to help

arrange some training venues for now, free of charge.

This is his business card,

you can just go directly to him.

I've always

wanted to get to know this institution.

Thank you, Alex.

You've been helping me so much.

I'm not helping you for free.

I have something to ask of you.

What do you want from me?

I'm still observing, however,

if you can secure the bulk of your funds,

I'll put in 10% too.

Is this for real?

You want to be my patron?

I've read your business proposal,

I think it's great.

Really.

Only if it's you running the plan,

then I will have faith in it.

It's not much anyway,

about the price of a car,

I can still afford it.

So you're using the 10% as bait

so that I'll have to boldly go

ask for the remaining 90%.

I'm just trying to perk you up.

I will look out for

your players' performance today.

I'll tell you privately now,

people have been inquiring

about Jiang Jiaojiao.

However, I have yet to mention

Song Sanchuan to anyone.

I was thinking that

I really wanted to

take a good look at your secret weapon.

I'm here to see especially him today.

(Player tag)

Thank you.

We'll go and change now.

All the best.

(Registration)

You can do it!

Let's go. We can do it.

(Song Sanchuan - Player Tag)

Say, this,

my wigs are pretty expensive.

If you're not up for it,

stop cutting it.

Look at these bangs,

what do they look like now?

Don't touch it.

Come, come.

Come, let me,

let me use those scissors.

What are you doing?

I thought you wanted to quit?

I'll need those strings.

Don't touch my racket.

Why shouldn't I?

Give me.

Let me ask you.

We were sitting there that day,

you drank the shot and

you said you're playing tennis for yourself, right?

Not for anything else.

You said that, right?

Right?

Come, give it to me.

I'm not giving you.

During that time I thought,

you practiced so hard.

Give it to me.

Let go.

You were blue and black all over.

I said this kid is great,

flourishing now.

Give it to me, let go.

I have no idea why this time...

I'll be late!

Let me tell you.

I'll ask you one last time,

are you going to play tennis for yourself or not?

I'm playing.

If you are, I'll cut it up.

No, I will play!

I said I will play!

You're play...

Should've told me that earlier.

Get the car keys now,

I'm going to be late for the game.

I'll change now.

Hurry up! Car keys!

He's playing now?

I'll get it.

(The 5th "Elite Cup" Tennis Club Tour)

Will he still come?

He's the only one left on this form now.

Our opponents have drawn lots even.

You better not joke about this.

Registration closes at 9 o'clock.

The first game is about to start.

Just make a call.

He's on his way already.

Are you guys fighting?

It's tiring dating such a young one.

You get into an argument, he stops showing up for games.

Let me tell you,

that day in my courts,

he was the most boisterous one.

He's still just a child you see.

When things get critical,

he's unreliable.

Do you actually think that we can

chat about our relationship life at the side of the road?

How thick-skinned of you.

You're not young anymore,

yet your common sense, I feel,

is worse than a child's.

I...

I...

Please wait up.

I'm sorry.

We have another player who's coming.

It's already nine o'clock.

A no-show means they forfeited the game.

Just give us two more minutes, please.

You'll have to come again next year.

Rules are rules.

He trained really hard for this,

so he'll definitely come today.

He must have run into some problems on the way,

could you wait for just a while more?

If he does not show up

in the next two minutes,

you can go.

Is that okay?

Please.

Sorry, I am late.

He's here.

Come on, Song Sanchuan.

Fifteen - love.

Well played.

Your net moves are very confident.

Keep this up for tomorrow.

So for tomorrow's match,

pay some attention to these problems.

(The 5th "Elite Cup" Tennis Club Tour)

(Nansha Juntai International Tennis Center)

I believe that Ms. Liang

won't disappoint me on this one.

I wish us a pleasant cooperation.

Thank you so much.

Sure.

You guys carry on,

I'll go around.

Right. Have a pleasant one.

Thank you.

Sure, sure.

I watched Song Sanchuan play for two matches.

He really lived up to our expectations of him.

Initially, I thought that

the reconstruction of power chain in tennis

will be his greatest challenge.

I did not expect to see

him adapt those previous skills

to play net volleys.

He's really not bad.

Actually, Coach Yan corrected him a lot.

Yet of course,

he worked very hard himself.

Honestly,

even though the amount of money that Daniel is willing to invest

was lesser than expected,

but that 10%,

I'm still willing to give it to you.

Thank you.

I am really thankful for that.

When we can gather enough start-up funds,

that will be the hardest part of this whole project.

I have faith in you.

I'll talk to Daniel again.

Alright.

(Song Sanchuan 5: Wang Xing 2)

(Song Sanchuan 5: Wang Xing 2)

Coach Yan.

I found out that every time he serves,

he'll walk five steps towards the scoreboard.

Is this what you taught them at the training camp?

That they design their own

inter-shot movements on the court

so when they form a conditioned reflex,

it'll help them calm down.

You discovered that too.

Yes.

It's a habit that he developed.

(The 5th "Elite Cup" Tennis Club Tour)

(The 5th "Elite Cup" Tennis Club Tour) We shall now invite

(The 5th "Elite Cup" Tennis Club Tour) the vice president of Shenzhen

(No. 8 - East China Pegasus Club) Tennis Association, Mr. Li He

(No. 8 - East China Pegasus Club) to give out the award for this year's

(No. 8 - East China Pegasus Club) Elite Cup Tennis Club Tournament.

Congratulations to Group A men's singles champion

Zhu Tianyu from WeAce Tennis Club!

The winner of Group B is

Jiang Jiaojiao from East China Pegasus Club!

Jiao! Jiao!

Jiao!

Jiao! Jiao!

I thought we were just training,

in the end, we won something too.

You'an, guess we are considered

mutually supporting each other?

Thank you.

The winner of Group C is

Jiang Hailong from Beijing D3.

Champion.

You read it the other way around.

B.

Coach Yan,

you trained this one too.

I know.

The winner of Group D is

Song Sanchuan from East China Pegasus.

Come on! Come on!

Sanchuan!

This is your first trophy!

- Yes. - Keep it up!

We got two champions from two groups.

You'an, these are all your achievements.

I'd say,

why don't you and your team

just stay in my club?

It just so happened that

no one was managing the commercial side.

If you join us,

next year,

when we get from No. 8 to No. 1,

we'll reach the A-rank already.

That's great.

I also saw that today,

you, a lady,

have to mingle amongst those men

at the club,

that must have been difficult.

You now also have to beg around,

look for sponsorships,

why bother?

I have the venue, coaches,

I have them all now.

You'an, it's your dream to run

an A-ranked club, right?

Your players are also well-qualified.

It's alright.

These few days I've been

giving out my business cards

to the media and the investors who were watching the game.

I told them clearly

which of those players were mine,

and how they were temporarily leased to you.

I welcome all of them to

invest in my new club in the future.

You're that slick, huh?

You've crossed the river,

and now you're burning bridges.

Would it be better if I took revenge

instead of taking advantage of you?

No, I thought that

we got along quite well these few days,

and we could finally turn a page.

You really put yourself

on a pedestal there.

To me,

you don't affect me in any single way.

After this is over,

our grievances will be settled,

no one will owe anyone in the future.

From now on,

I don't want to have

anything to do with you anymore.

Ms. Liang.

I felt really, really scared.
