(I like you.)

Well, I don't know sign language.

Is there something you want to say?

Can you tell me again slowly?

I'll watch and listen carefully.

(I have always liked you.)

(So much that my heart could burst.)

(Please listen to me.)

(Come a little closer.)

It's Han Jae Yi.

She's at a commercial shoot.

She looks very attractive.

She's the hottest iconic figure of 2018 in Korea.

This is Han Jae Yi. Hello.

Hello.

It's hard to open my eyes.

Your outfit is bright on top of your amazing looks.

I can't look at you because you're so bright.

It's because the light is shining directly on me.

It's also because of my expensive outfit.

In your movie,

you meet your childhood crush after you become a college student.

Then you two part ways again.

It was so sad.

Jae Yi, do you have such experience yourself?

Yes.

I never went to high school,

so I didn't attend school for very long.

But we all have a crush or two at that age.

While we're at it,

can you tell us your ideal type?

Just...

Someone that makes me tear up when I see him.

Hey,

being hungry is no excuse.

You can't keep swallowing your snot...

while interviewing for a romance film.

Is it tasty or something?

I have to eat something, you know.

I had two egg whites...

and half an apple all day.

That's true, but...

Jae Yi, hang in there.

I'll let you eat...

every kind of meat there is after the awards today.

- Do you promise? - Of course.

So stop eating your snot or you will get too full.

Okay.

(Gangnam Police Station)

(Gangnam Police Station)

(Ko E Seok)

(Our proud police)

Although the second victim was found,

the police showed many flaws with their first investigation.

It has been over 10 days since the incident,

but they have yet to find any concrete evidence.

They are only causing anxiety to the public.

Will the victims and their families...

be able to accept...

such an empty cry? The case...

My goodness!

She ended up chasing us around and bothering us for five hours.

She just left after saying what she wanted to say.

Sir, please calm down.

It's not like we didn't expect this from her.

Give me one of those too. I feel sick.

Okay.

Here you go.

I told you to order them too. Why are you stealing mine?

Senior Inspector Ko.

I finished requesting Prosecution to investigate Suspect Kim Chul Min.

Okay. Good work.

- Jong Hyun. - Yes?

Give her one too.

What is it?

Sure. Why not?

I can give you one.

- Give me one. - What?

Give me one.

- Here. - Straw.

Straw too?

Am I surrounded by a group of hyenas or what?

What?

Nothing.

By the way, where did Do Jin go?

(Lieutenant Chae Do Jin)

Gosh, I'm sorry.

Are you all right?

It's been four days, hasn't it?

You should just get some sleep in the night duty room.

And have this.

Gosh, my cabbage juice...

is going around the world, isn't it?

- I asked her for it. - Did you?

Move aside so I can greet Ms. Han.

Your smile is so pure.

I see a lot of ridiculous things while working here.

It feels like all the nasty stuff are washed away from me.

I'm thankful every day.

What? A hug?

I would be honored.

Gosh, thank you.

What?

Don't you have a meeting?

What meeting? Let me go.

Our junior is watching us.

Are you being jealous?

Are you being jealous of this signage and I?

Leave her be. I don't care if this is just a picture.

Gosh.

You're getting really corny these days.

You changed a lot.

- Why don't you join her fan club? - Be quiet.

- I'll teach you the way. - What are you talking about?

Come on, let me help you.

How long will you stay single with that face of yours?

A graduate student, Lee Yoon Hee, was attacked 10 days ago,

and an office worker, Park Soo Chan, was attacked two days ago.

As they were struck on the back of their heads,

it is likely that the weapon was something blunt...

like a hammer.

However, the scars' sizes are different by 0.5cm.

The criminal might have used a different hammer,

or it could mean it was done by another person.

In any case, both victims didn't see the criminal's face, right?

Lee Yoon Hee was too scared,

so she held onto her head and crouched.

Park Soo Chan was hit many times,

so he fainted before he could resist.

It rained on the day of the second incident.

This man in a raincoat...

is a strong suspect,

but this all we have at the moment.

It looks like the work of the same criminal.

They only go to areas where there are no CCTV cameras.

Now, they're covering themselves with a raincoat.

It's going to be very hard to find this person.

(Additional possible suspect)

We selected individuals that look or act suspicious...

in the 99 CCTV cameras around the area...

just before and after the two incidents.

After that, we took the assumed physical characteristics...

of the suspect, given by the NFS,

to reduce the number of these individuals.

First, Nam Kil, Do Jin, get ready for a stakeout.

Jong Hyun and Yeon Ji can analyze the CCTV footages further.

Check for people with similar criminal records.

Gosh, Jae Yi.

- You're wearing a red dress, right? - Yes.

It's over.

Game over.

Everyone will be busy looking at you.

Come on, Se Kyung.

You're always gorgeous and fantastic.

What's the point of repeating it? I would be wasting my time.

Don't you agree?

- Yes. - Yes.

Forget it.

Why are you still at this shop?

I told you to switch.

It's the only way to keep seeing you.

We're not working on a drama together these days.

I told you to stop clinging on me.

I plan to cling on you forever.

Are you guys hungry? I'll bring over a little snack.

I noticed that you were nominated for the new actress award.

Yes. I'm lucky.

Don't get your hopes up.

Oh Soo Yeon will get it anyway.

Just be prepared to clap...

when the other nominees are seen on screen.

You're still a rookie.

You can't hide your emotions.

I'm not like that anymore.

I have a poker face.

What a joke.

I mean it.

Gosh, it's Chun Se Kyung.

Where is this?

"Chugae Island, Bok Ja's Hair Salon"?

That was when I lived on an island.

That was when I lived on an island.

It was a hair salon that focused on perms.

I worked part-time there.

Was the owner's name Bok Ja?

Yes... But I shampooed...

all the old ladies in town.

I gave head massages...

and dyed grey hair.

Whenever the old ladies went to a show or a party,

I would roll their hair up...

and dry them nicely.

I had...

a lot of detailed experience...

and practice.

This place...

is where celebrities come.

You're not here to volunteer at a senior home.

My mom ran a restaurant for a long time there.

I'm experienced with customer service.

If you would hire me,

I'll do my best. Wish me luck.

- Sir. - Are you done?

You're leaving? Goodbye.

- Bye. - See you again.

Goodbye.

My goodness.

What?

Wasn't that Han Jae Yi?

I can't believe I saw her.

Everyone's talking about how good your food is.

We'll promote your store for you.

With a storefront sign.

I said I'm not interested.

I don't want to become famous.

Don't be like that. Come on.

Hello.

- Your letter was returned. - Thanks.

What's this? I haven't seen a handwritten letter in ages.

Get lost!

(To Yoon Hyun Moo, Letter to be returned)

Yes, that's right.

I never got a reply,

but this is the first time my letter was returned.

I was worried something happened to him.

What?

Yoon Hyun Moo was paroled on the last day of last month.

Then you don't know where he went?

You're right.

Random attacks against unsuspecting civilians...

for no clear reason are on the rise.

Here you go. Enjoy your meal.

The recent attacks...

It's been a while since I smelled the stench of pork.

The victims were hit on the head with a blunt object...

I can't believe such lunatics exist.

How could someone do that to another human being?

That's so vicious. They're targeting just anyone.

Darn it.

I can't eat with all this noise.

Anyone could become a target anywhere...

Shut your mouth, mister.

You're ruining my appetite.

They were smashed beyond recognition.

At 12:30am...

in Yangju Tunnel on the Yeongdong Highway to Gangneung,

the car of 27-year-old...

Jeez, the food tastes disgusting.

Do you think you can compete?

That lady over there makes great pork soup.

Can't you try a bit harder?

Don't slack off just because you're old.

His blood alcohol level was 0.176 percent,

and he was driving in the wrong direction.

(Pork Soup)

(Pork Soup)

Come on, we should get another drink.

- Another round? - Yes.

I'd like that.

It looks like we won't be sleeping tonight either.

It's so stuffy in here.

Jeez. Hang on.

- I'll take a look. - What?

Hey.

We love you. We love you!

- We love you! - You're amazing!

Over here!

Over here!

(We love you forever.)

Chun Se Kyung!

Chun Se Kyung is one of our best actresses indeed.

Yes. She's very elegant.

Jae Yi, there are much more people than I thought.

Will you be okay?

Yes, of course. I even stopped taking my medication.

I'm definitely okay.

Don't be too nervous.

I don't think you'll win anyway.

Who said she won't win?

Everyone I know say that Oh Soo Yeon will win.

Even if everyone you know say that Oh Soo Yeon will win,

at least you shouldn't.

At least you should insist...

that Jae Yi will win.

You're one of us.

Leave it, it's fine.

Whoever is meant to win will win.

But your dress is quite long.

Watch your step so you don't trip up.

Why should I try not to trip up?

I should try to trip up.

What?

Watch me.

Han Jae Yi!

Han Jae Yi! Han Jae Yi!

Win Best Newcomer, Jae Yi!

You're pretty! You're so pretty!

Jae Yi is a definite candidate for best dresser award.

She looks beautiful.

Yes, she's dazzling.

She is. The word, dazzling...

Oh dear, she just fell on the steps.

- Didn't she look cute? - She did.

People will call her "Trip Up Girl" from now on.

I guess so.

I can hear people type her name online.

Me too. It's good to see her getting up on her own.

- She's a true rising star. - That's right.

Is it online?

She's really something.

She really does what she says she'll do.

You should learn from her. She never misses an opportunity.

That's a true professional.

(She has such a pretty smile.)

- Hello. - What do you think?

His walk is different.

- His walk? - Yes.

The man on the camera...

just had an average gait.

His is asymmetrical.

I'll return to the car.

Hi, honey. I'm almost home.

Okay, I'll be right there.

Wait just a little bit.

What was that? What was that?

My car... Darn it.

Hey.

Are you okay?

- I'm... - You had too much to drink.

You ruined my car.

I didn't drink.

What?

Did you think I was drunk?

You can't get away after stabbing a police officer.

Darn it.

Darn it. Seriously.

Sir.

- Sir. - Get him.

Go after him.

- Oh, no. - Is he okay?

You lunatic.

You're crazier than I heard.

The 16th Korean Arts Awards.

The award for Best Female Newcomer goes to...

Han Jae Yi from "Blue".

(Han Jae Yi, "Blue")

Thank you so much.

I always dreamed of being on this stage.

It still feels like a dream.

I'd like to return this honor...

to my director, the crew,

and my colleagues and costars who worked with me.

Thank you so much.

And finally,

Mom, Dad,

I love you.

And Moo Won,

thank you.

Thank you so much.

Are you all right?

If you get stressed,

make sure you get counseling.

Are you okay, sir?

There was a fire in Daechi-dong.

The ambulance is running late.

About the detective who was hurt.

To which hospital did he go?

Seoul Hospital wasn't available due to the fire.

He went to Hankook University Hospital.

Please take good care of him.

I wasn't much hurt.

I'll take the taxi home.

But sir...

But still, aren't you hurt?

Are you a detective?

The traffic is heavy.

Will you be okay?

Why did you decide to become an actress?

It's because...

I wanted to be happy.

And I wanted to become famous.

I really...

wanted to be on TV.

(In order to understand the human mind...)

(Jeon Yoo Ra)

(From Park Hye Min, To Yoon Hui Jae)

(Lee Seung Woo)

- Congratulations, Jae Yi. - Congratulations.

- Great job. - Thank you.

- Congratulations. - Congratulations.

Congratulations.

- That was amazing. - Thank you.

- Hello. - Congratulations.

- How do you feel? - Thank you.

Hello.

Mom, I got an award.

I'm so happy. It's all thanks to you.

I love you, Mom.

You did a great job.

- 1, 2, 3. - Congratulations.

Thank you.

Can you say a few words?

Good job.

If she were here,

Hye Won would've been so proud.

(Brother)

Hello, Moo Won.

Congratulations, Nak Won.

And I'm sorry that I couldn't come.

It's okay. I'll see you at home anyway.

Eat something delicious with Pyo Taek.

I'll join you after I finish.

Okay, come soon.

I miss you.

Nak Won.

Yes?

It's nothing. Get home safely.

I'm not a child.

I will.

Bye.

- Congratulations. - Thank you.

- Congratulations. - Thanks for coming.

(Waiting Room, Han Jae Yi)

(Waiting Room, Han Jae Yi)

(Yoon Hyun Moo)

(Specific Violent Crime)

(Graduated from Gowon High School)

- Just leave it. - Yes, ma'am.

This is Reporter Choi.

Excuse me.

An ambulance arrived a moment ago.

How's Patient Kang Nam Kil?

(Police Officer Chae Do Jin)

His abdomen was injured.

He was born in 1978.

Was Kang Nam Kil born in 1978?

He's under an operation.

Also,

there's another patient.

His name is Chae Do Jin.

910621.

His abdomen and his hand got cut.

A cut?

Do I have to wait long?

No, could you wait a little?

It isn't serious.

Take care of the ones who need urgent care first.

- Pardon? - If I don't hear you when you call,

could you wake me up?

I haven't slept much.

Okay.

(Episode 12)

(Emergency Ward)

Mr. Chae Do Jin?

Mr. Chae Do Jin.

Mr. Chae Do Jin?

You must have been tired.

You kept sleeping without waking up.

Your abdomen and your hand were stitched up.

When the doctor comes,

he'll explain again.

(You have 14 missed calls.)

(Nam Kil)

The person you have reached is unavailable.

Please leave a message after the tone.

Here is our next story.

The Korea Arts Award which was held at the Art Hall...

of Myunghee University at 7pm today...

awarded Han Jae Yi as the best new actress.

However, she was found unconscious right after the ceremony...

and was rushed to the emergency.

Reporter Lee Min Ah will tell you the details.

You need to get more supporting materials...

for the Gangnam attack cases.

If we air it like that, it won't be impactful enough.

Don't go to the top. Look at it from the sides.

Can't you think of anyone that used hammers before?

It needs to be more detailed and character-focused.

If you can't get the story, at least make it up.

There is breaking news about the actress, Han Jae Yi.

- Did you call the hospital? - Yes.

- Get the car. - Okay.

The reason for Han Jae Yi's collapse...

is yet to be revealed.

Her agency claimed that her health has no serious problems,

but she is currently still being treated at the hospital.

Hey, Na Moo.

I know how we won't ever have to say goodbye again.

I'll become famous and appear on television.

Even if we fall apart by any chance...

and we don't know each other's addresses or phone numbers,

you'll still be able to find me...

if I'm on television. Right?

You're right.

So...

let's make a promise in advance.

If we end up parting one day,

you must...

come look for me first.

Okay?

Okay.

I'll go find you.

I promise.

That's why...

we might be apart for a short while,

but we would never be apart forever.

(Emergency medical center)

I'm so sorry.

Are you okay?

- What do I do? - I'm sorry. I'm sorry.

(CT Room)

- Hurry up, and secure a spot. - Okay.

Hello. It's nice to see you again.

Are you here because of your sister?

I hear everyone knows you...

at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office.

Whether you get privileges or not,

I hear they will never win if they go against you.

Your sister is a recognized actress who won an award,

and you're an elite prosecutor who is on a roll.

Your parents must feel at ease now.

I don't think Jae Yi fainted because she worked too hard.

Could it be PTSD?

She didn't appear in horror films because of it.

I'm thinking of making it a special.

How about the traumas of victims involved in violent crimes?

Wouldn't it be interesting if it's made well?

Good luck with the story.

I'll make sure your segment is canceled before then.

- It's Han Jae Yi. - Where?

She's in this hospital.

- Really? - Let's go and see.

Jae Yi, are you okay?

The breaking news was a false report, right?

How did you faint?

Were you terrorized?

I'm sorry. One moment please.

Please tell us something. How are you feeling?

- Are you okay? - You don't look so well.

- What? - What is this?

Are you all right?

Can you tell us your ideal type?

Someone that makes me tear up when I see him.

It was me.

What are you doing? Get over there.

- Okay. - I'm going to stand here.

Chae Do Jin.

Who is this man?

Do you two know each other?

You're my fan, right?

Thank you...

for worrying about me.

Yes. Of course.

I'm sorry.

Excuse me. Excuse me, everyone.

Excuse me.

Jae Yi, here.

We'll release an official press release tomorrow.

We're at a hospital, so please...

Gosh.

He's... He's...

Excuse us.

Can you make way?

- When will you release a statement? - Wait.

I have the car waiting.

How did these people get here so fast?

- Moo Won. - Are you okay?

Let's get out of here.

My goodness. Look at you.

Jeez.

You should've stayed in the hospital for a few days.

Nam Kil has to stay for at least two weeks.

- I'm fine. - He confessed.

Nam Kil said he admitted that he did the random attacks.

It wasn't him.

We never got him clearly on camera...

and he was careful enough not to leave any evidence.

This guy was too rash and impulsive.

He did drugs too.

And at 170cm, he's not the right height.

And...

You lunatic.

You're crazier than I heard.

You can't...

tell the press about him yet, sir.

If you consider where on the head the victims were hit,

his height doesn't provide the right angle.

When he sobers up tomorrow,

we'll get him from the cell and interrogate him.

You shouldn't don't worry about it and take a few days off.

Yes, take a break when you're told to.

You're home, son.

My goodness, what's this?

Are you all right?

I fell over.

What? You don't get this badly hurt falling over.

Who was it this time?

Quit your job right now.

Mom.

Can you...

hug me for a bit?

Come here.

Na Moo.

Yes?

What's the matter?

I met someone...

I shouldn't have met.

When we meet...

My gosh.

Bom, I'm home.

I'm sorry.

I'll cook you something.

Give me a hug first.

My dear sister.

Moo Won.

What?

Can you get out of the way? Sorry.

Moo Won.

Here.

You'd have cried if the supermarket was closed.

You should slow down. You might get sick.

I won't take your share.

- Moo Won. - What?

It's so good.

You want something else?

Anything you cook tastes the best.

I'm sorry I'm not home often.

Wherever you are, you just have to be fine.

Getting to see you , talk to you, and eat with you...

every now and then is good enough.

Nak Won.

- Today... - Moo Won.

I'm not a 16-year-old now.

I can deal with my problems.

Don't worry too much.

I'm sorry I always act like a kid around you.

For struggling on my own.

Don't say that, Nak Won.

Don't say things like that to me.

Let's eat.

Eat all you want. Here.

(Han Jae Yi)

(Jee Hye Won, Han Jae Yi)

(To Gil Nak Won)

(Han Jae Yi)

(To Nak Won)

Is it from Moo Won?

Congratulations, Jae Yi!

Han Jae Yi, Han Jae Yi.

Han Jae Yi, Jae Yi, what's wrong?

Well, I don't know sign language.

Is there something you want to say?

Can you tell me again slowly?

I'll watch and listen carefully.

(I have always liked you. So much that my heart could burst.)

(Come a little closer.)

I'm sorry.

I told you to tell me if you're hurt.

I told you not to bear it alone.

You're a liar.

Mr. Yoon Hui Jae.

You've changed a lot during the last three years.

You're aware of it, right?

Yes.

I realized too late that I've done wrong.

I'll live my life in regret.

It's a burden I must take on.

Right.

Everyone regrets.

We should pity those who don't know how to regret.

Knowing how to regret is also...

a way of redemption.

Is that so?

Of course.

Ma'am.

I heard that you've been here for over 20 years.

When you see a person like me,

what do you think?

I'm curious.

Here's what I see.

All I see is a person...

sitting in front of me.

Sitting like this...

is all I see.

I see.

By the way,

is redemption...

that easy?

(Han Jae Yi)

The family of the celebrity, Han Jae Yi,

was killed by a serial killer in 2006.

Han Jae Yi is the daughter of Jee Hye Won.

She passed out two days ago.

It was due to post-traumatic stress disorder, not exhaustion.

It was found...

that her condition is due to stress.

The tragedy hasn't ended. She's a victim of a criminal.

(Who is the Man Han Jae Yi Met at the Hospital?)

Number 4846.

You have a visitor.

I can't visit him?

He's only allowed one visitor per day.

Does that mean someone visited him before me?

Apparently so.

Is there a celebrity?

You're here.

Isn't this you?

Someone saw you there.

Do you recognize me even if my face is covered?

Didn't you know that I'm her fan?

I had a cut in my abdomen like this,

so I went to the hospital.

I'm glad that I was stabbed that day.

Pardon me?

Hello.

I'll be in charge of your case.

I'm Detective Chae Do Jin.

I know.

Chae Do Jin.

Detective.

I can read Korean too.

That's why we might be apart for a short while,

but we would never be apart forever.
