Defense attorney, make your closing statement.

The defendant is an adolescent.

Please consider it.

Defendant, do you have anything to say?

Gosh, not really.

Case Number 2006, 3, 9.

I announce the verdict for...

Defendant Yoon Hyun Moo.

The defendant has criminal records from the past.

He is currently under probation.

However, he inflicted another serious injury to the victim,

making the victim hospitalized for 10 weeks.

A sentence of 2 to 3 years...

is given to Defendant Yoon Hyun Moo.

He's given penal servitude...

for an indeterminate term.

Gosh!

What a pathetic life we must lead without money and connections.

What did I do so wrong to deserve so many years?

I heard he's fine now.

Isn't he fine?

Let me go. Let go!

Hey, tell Dad to make an appeal.

I'm innocent. Find Dad and bring him here!

Bring Dad! Hey!

Bring him!

Let go.

I'm sorry.

I'll apologize in my brother's place.

I'm sincerely sorry.

Please, remain calm.

You better get out of my sight.

I don't want to get my hands dirty...

by trash like you.

Where on earth is your father?

He should be begging to make a settlement.

I guess it's no surprise. Like father, like son, right?

(Freedom, equality, justice)

Mom, where are we going?

Where are we going with all our stuff?

Be quiet. Be quiet.

Honey, all you have to do is just follow me. Got it?

Are we running away?

Yes.

That's why you should listen carefully to me.

Your dad and I had a little fight.

I'm running away because I got a little mad, okay?

I don't want to go!

I won't go anywhere without Na Moo.

I told you to be quiet.

Please listen to your mom, So Jin.

Please.

Na Moo can't go with us.

He can't live with us anymore.

Do you understand?

Na Moo.

- Mother. - Let go of his hand.

If you tell your father,

both of us will die. got it?

Na Moo,

I don't want to go. I won't go.

Please, just let us go.

What about So Jin?

What about So Jin?

His blood is in you, so it can't be helped.

However, So Jin didn't do anything wrong.

She doesn't share a drop of blood with your father.

Why must she live her life as the daughter of a murderer?

Na Moo, I'm begging you.

Here. I'll beg you.

Please let us go.

Please let us go.

Please. I'm begging you.

Hurry up and go.

I'll act like I didn't see you and So Jin since this morning.

So hurry up.

Go as far as you can.

Go somewhere...

Father can never find you.

So Jin. No matter where you go,

listen to Mother.

You didn't forget...

our promise, right?

No matter where you are and no matter who you're with,

I'll...

always protect you.

Na Moo...

See you later.

Thank you...

for living all these years with me.

You cooked for me every day...

and looked after me.

You scolded me from the heart.

I was...

really thankful.

You didn't do...

anything wrong.

You're only going back to where you came from.

So,

you don't have to...

be sorry.

Thank you...

for everything.

Thank you...

for...

being my mother.

Once you get to a bigger street, take a taxi to the terminal.

I'll call Father to buy you more time.

You should go.

Where are you going, Ok Hee?

Gosh, where is she going in such a rush?

Where did they go all of a sudden?

(Na Moo, So Jin)

Ta-da.

Na Moo.

You've been very quiet today,

but it's actually noisy, isn't it?

What?

Up here.

I think there's a lot of noise, isn't there?

Here, it aches and feels empty.

Right?

Did I guess correctly?

I just have to look at your face...

to tell what's going on.

I guess I'm really sensitive like that.

I'm not at all like how I look, am I?

Hey, that look means I guessed correctly.

Didn't I?

- Yes. - You just admitted it.

Now look at me differently.

This look means...

I... I like you?

Didn't I guess that just right?

- Yes. - Right?

I knew right away that...

What?

You really like me?

I was just kidding around.

Nak Won.

What?

You said...

you like me because I'm like a real tree.

What? Yes.

I feel the same.

To me,

you're like...

a real paradise.

That's why...

I like you too.

I like you, Nak Won.

A lot.

Very much.

Why are you crying?

I'm sorry.

For what?

For liking you.

I'm sorry.

For liking you.

I'm sorry.

(I Am Not Unlike You)

(I Am Not Unlike You)

- Did you enjoy your meal? - Yes, thank you.

Thank you. Come by again.

- Okay. - I'll give you extra meat.

We enjoyed ourselves.

Bye. Take care.

(Unforgettable Pork Soup)

Just a one-hour interview,

and we won't come back.

No thanks.

Whether it's 1 hour or 2, I don't know anything.

You must know something.

Yoon Hui Jae mentioned you by name...

and said you were the only woman he loved.

Did you hear about the book on TV yesterday and today?

It was so talked-about even before it came out.

This man knows how to use the media...

and make money.

It's a great title.

Provocative and shameless. It makes you want to read it.

Any other serial killer...

wouldn't dare share his story.

It was such a dramatic case...

and so very famous.

A famous actress was one of his later victims...

and he was caught...

because his own son reported him.

Which is why I'd like to ask about the son.

He's a senior now, isn't he?

Won't he visit before he graduates?

Why would he visit?

- Wait, wait. - Ma'am, wait.

- Hear me out while I... - We're...

Okay, okay, jeez.

If you ever mention my son's name...

or even his initials in your magazine,

I will track you down...

and pull out every single hair in your body.

And then I'll sue you all.

Do you get that?

Does living with a killer do that to you?

She's really tough.

It's me.

Really?

Of course we should get the story first.

That looks like a better scoop than this.

Okay, thanks.

What is it now?

We're going to Yongin next.

- Pack in advance. - Where? Yongin?

Why Yongin?

This man wrote high praise about his son...

and I thought it was made up.

It looks like he had one good son.

He might graduate...

summa cum laude from the police academy.

For real?

But that son...

never once visited his dad.

Don't you smell it right away?

It sounds fun.

He also looks handsome enough to be an actor.

It's such a pretty story already.

(Police Academy)

(Chae Do Jin)

That was so embarrassing.

Did you have to do that...

- in front of everyone? - I'm exhausted.

You got better, Jong Hyun.

Hey.

Why did you have to...

suddenly be so chivalrous...

and end up being punished with me?

That was horrible.

My instincts took over.

To protect you.

Look at you.

Your sweet talk is enough to get me worked up.

Why are you being so direct?

Were you very worried your Jong Hyun would get hurt?

- Get up. - Gosh.

Are you hurt? Let me see.

Can we stop now?

Are you okay?

I have to study Criminal Law and Public Admin...

starting tomorrow.

Find someone else.

Just two more weeks, please?

I'll buy you a latte every day.

Forget it. I can't help anymore.

- See you. - Hey.

(Chae Do Jin)

Excuse me.

Do Jin.

(Chae Do Jin)

Lights off.

Drink some water.

Wipe yourself off.

Earlier during the day,

instead of female colleagues,

you wanted to fight with only men.

That's why you want my help.

You have to fight with men in the real world.

Is that right?

Yes.

From now on,

you're standing in front of a cruel criminal.

You can treat me however you want.

As you get stronger and practice every day,

it'll help you.

Why?

Why are you helping me?

I did ask you a favor.

You don't even know me. Why would you help me?

You don't want to?

Should I just leave?

No, I'll do it.

Please lend me...

your body.

Catch them. Don't let them get away.

Stop.

Two of you go that way.

You go that way.

The rest will follow me.

Hurry.

- Yes, sir. - Yes, sir.

Why are you here?

You said that you were leaving.

What if you get caught?

I couldn't leave you here.

Young master.

Yoon Deok.

Come with me.

There won't be people like your lady or master.

It'll only be you and me.

There's no social ranking.

Everyone there wishes for the country's independence just like us.

So come with me.

Yoon Deok, come with me.

Cut. Okay.

Listen.

Let's go with this scene for Yoon Deok.

Let's call Se Kyung now.

Tell Se Kyung to be on standby.

Sir, I'm sorry, but can I do it one more time?

I don't think I was emotional enough.

No, it's okay. You did a good job.

In both parts of my heart,

your acting stirred up a lot of emotions.

But still...

May I do it one more time?

Besides...

it's quite possible that...

the entire scene gets omitted.

Yoon Deok is out for now.

Can you bring those for every hour?

- Lighting director. - Yes?

Add two more reflecting boards when Se Kyung comes.

Okay, sir.

Let's hurry and finish shooting. I'm so hungry.

- Get ready for the next scene. - Get ready.

It should be more to the right.

Everyone, get ready.

Hey, Jae Yi.

Don't be so ambitious all the time.

Act like a supporting actress. Don't ask for one more chance.

Goodness.

I'm the leading actress of my life.

You're witty, aren't you?

Hey, tell me honestly.

Isn't it because you got emotional during a scene with me?

Did your heart flutter?

He only sees what he wants to see.

What?

What did you say?

Who does he think he is?

It's ready.

I'm coming.

Sir, I'll get going.

Ready.

Action.

Cut. Okay.

- Let's do the alleyway scene. - Alleyway scene.

Let's move.

Ready, action.

Why are you here?

What if you get caught?

I couldn't at the thought of leaving you.

This was more urgent...

than the country's independence.

Young master.

My lady.

Cut, okay.

Se Kyung, that was great acting. You're the best.

This is News Report's Lee Sang Rok.

I'd like to interview you about Yoon Hui Jae's autobiography.

I'm Cho Joo Won from MBS.

If a phone interview is difficult, how about an interview in writing?

Have you been well, Do Jin? This is Park Hee Young.

I'm going to visit your father this week.

I've been getting interview requests about your father's autobiography.

Can we please meet this time?

I haven't seen your face properly since you've grown.

Please.

(I Am Not Unlike You)

(Episode 6)

Hello, sir.

Did your shoot go well?

Yes, of course.

I can leave the hospital next week.

The bones reattached.

I recover so quickly.

You're like a wild animal.

That startled me.

- Who's talking? - Who's being so loud?

Those who party a lot know how to party.

Bones recover fast when they've been broken.

I'll escort you again starting next week.

Aren't you going to the countryside this weekend?

No, I'll be fine.

The viewer rating will be over 20 percent this week.

Right?

- I didn't prick you. - I see.

What I'm saying is...

Hang in there until next week.

- You aren't well yet. - You can do it!

- I'm completely fine. - Goodnight.

Your bones aren't attached. Why did you lie?

I feel bad...

about being bedridden.

I guess he's a big shot after all.

(I like Han Jae Yi in the Yoon Deok role.)

I thought you might be sleeping.

Nak Won, did you have an okay day?

Yes, I did.

I had another okay day.

(You have a new message.)

Of course.

It's past 1am, so I hope you have another good day.

(Homicide, Article 266, Article 267)

(Homicide, Article 266, Article 267)

Hurry up and move it over.

(Chun Se Kyung, "Next Generation")

(Kang Yoon Sung)

How do you have such good skin?

You have to be born with it.

After that, you have to look after it.

That's true.

What a ruckus.

How can I read in here?

They want to start the interview now.

Where is Jae Yi?

We'll be right out.

Could you close the door?

Sure. I'm sorry.

Yeon Sil,

did that person pay you?

No, of course not.

Yeon Sil.

You should be focusing on...

my t-zone...

and the dead skin on my lips.

You have more than 10 things to look after.

So,

just do your job.

Do you understand?

Yes.

She's only a supporting actress. She won't be missed.

("Secret Love in Seoul")

(Incoming call)

- 1, 2, 3, 4, - 1, 2, 3, 4,

- 5, 6! - 5, 6!

Bring guns forward.

- 1, 2! - 1, 2!

(Trustworthy police who are always with you)

Lean it forward.

Where did she go?

Han Jae Yi!

Han Jae Yi!

- Yes. - You have an interview.

Right.

Where did Se Kyung go? She said she would wake me up.

She left a long time ago. Hurry up and come out.

I see. Thank you.

One episode after another,

your popularity is only rising.

Did you expect this for "Secret Love in Seoul"?

I really loved the director's previous work.

I had no doubt that the series would do great.

What about you, Se Kyung?

What should I say? I could just feel it.

However, I hope we perform even better.

You promised your audience to give out free hugs...

in Myeong-dong,

and to do a surprise event at your colleague's shoot...

with this outfit if you get over 20 percent viewership.

Yes.

As for that event,

I think Han Jae Yi who plays Yoon Deok will do it.

I'll be shooting a movie soon.

She wants to visit me...

on my movie set.

I see. That's great.

We'll look forward to Jae Yi's special event.

Thank you. Great job.

- Thank you. - Thank you.

- Thank you. - Yes, thank you.

- It was fun, wasn't it? - Yes.

- You're still so good. - I had so much fun.

Where were you all this time?

A new actor should work hard to promote the series.

Well...

Did you sleep well?

I tried to wake you up, but you wouldn't budge.

You must have been really tired.

Please go and have lunch!

We'll start shooting in one hour.

- Director. - Lunch is served.

Look at that.

Are you still half asleep?

Give me my card.

Go and get yourself a coffee.

That's okay. Thank you.

I heard your manager was hospitalized,

so you drove here yourself.

There is a big cafe within a 20-minute drive.

The coffee there is delicious.

Right now?

They gave us one hour to eat.

Do you have time to keep asking me?

- Let's go eat. - Okay.

What the... What kind of punk is this?

How dare you?

Hey! Roll down your window!

I said, roll it down!

What is this?

Hey! You have huge eyes.

Can't you see the car in front of you?

Then go get yourself some contact lenses.

- You almost killed me! - Why you...

Hey, just go. She's too loud.

Hey, where are you going? Hey!

Give me 1 espresso with 3 shots,

and 1 cappuccino with low-fat milk,

double shot, and cinnamon powder.

Also, 1 box of organic cranberry cookies,

and 1 cold iced americano.

It's all to-go.

Okay.

I'm sorry.

Is she a star without a name?

I think they're shooting something.

Hello.

Hello.

Hello. Do you know me by any chance?

I just thought it was cool.

Then... Should I shoot a selfie for you?

I'm a cast of "Secret Love in Seoul".

My name is Han Jae Yi, and I play Yoon Deok.

I'm not a crazy person.

Hey, I watch that drama.

Why didn't I notice?

See?

I hope you'll recognize me from now on.

How about a picture?

Okay. Sure.

- I'll stand in front of you. - Okay.

- Thank you. - Thank you.

Could I get a picture with you too?

- Yes. Thank you. - Thank you.

1, 2, 3.

It's not Han Jae Hee.

It's Yi, Han Jae Yi.

1, 2, 3.

Thank you.

Good luck.

- Thanks. - Espresso, cappuccino,

iced Americano, ready for pick-up.

Yoon Hui Jae released an autobiography...

which could become a scandal.

Han Jin Seok has the story.

Serial killer Yoon Hui Jae...

is currently on death row.

He released an autobiography that describes...

the crimes he committed...

from 2004 to 2006 and how he felt at the time.

It's causing a huge controversy.

The book...

is titled "I Am Not Unlike You",

and it describes details of all 12 of his victims...

including the last two, famed actress Jee Hye Won...

and her husband.

Yoon also wrote about how much he regrets his actions.

There is concern that some will idolize him and his crimes,

and families of his victims are voicing strong distaste.

The book is at the center of attention so soon after its release.

Sales of the book...

- are increasing... - Sorry. Are you okay?

Yes. It's okay, it was my mistake.

- Sorry. - I'll clean it up.

Sorry.

It looks like things could change in the future.

This is Han Jin Seok reporting for MBS.

You've improved.

Your skill and strength is definitely much better.

Well done.

Now that you know what to do,

let's try it again.

Let me.

I'll tie it for you.

Just a moment.

So Jin, why are you calling so late?

Is something wrong?

No.

I miss you and that's my only problem.

I think of you all day long.

Sleep well?

Then where should we meet?

Other than that I miss you and Mom,

everything's fine.

It's not a lie. It's the truth.

You want me to say goodnight?

You've turned into a baby since we last met.

Okay, I'll say it.

Goodnight, So Jin.

Okay.

I want to go there with you and...

(I Am Not Unlike You)

(I Am Not Unlike You)

(I Am Not Unlike You)

(If you want forgiveness, forgive first.)

Before I tell you the story of my useless life,

I offer my sincerest apologies...

to the victims and their families...

who suffered unbearably because of me.

I wrote this...

wishing that...

nothing as terrible as this...

ever happens again on Korean soil.

These pages contain...

the atonement and repentance...

of a man called Yoon Hui Jae.

(List of Contents)

(1. The Birth of the Devil)

(2. A Deprived Childhood)

(9. First Murder)

(10. The Devil Lives Within Me)

(12. That Night)

This is what you should've done.

You should've done this sooner.

This makes you...

Yoon Hui Jae's blood.

Right?

Na Moo.

Out of you two brothers,

the one more like me isn't Hyun Moo.

It's you.

(I Am Not Unlike You)

(I Am Not Unlike You)

In those times, come to me.

When the pain is too much for you to handle,

come to me.

(Police)

Whatever the case,

whatever happens,

I will like you forever.

(I Am Not Unlike You)

It's Han Jae Yi.

Han Jae Yi.

Pretty like a flower, right?

Darn it. What a terrible driver.

Her drama's doing pretty well.

We get an extra article online...

and you get more clicks and likes.

We can help each other out.

Hello?

Hello?

Why do people hang up without a word?

I said I could drive myself to the set.

I'm the head of your agency.

I can't let you head to work on your own.

It's okay.

My bones are all set...

and my thighs are like that of a horse's.

I could even run to Yongin.

If someone benefits,

it will be someone else, not me.

And even if you can run to Yongin,

I doubt you'd make it.

You'd get arrested for running on the highway.

Oh, you have a point.

Anyway,

how many reporters are there right now?

About... 10 of them?

I think that's how many there'll be.

This is just so frustrating.

We just want a short interview and then we'll be back out.

This student isn't available for an interview. Goodbye.

I saw a whole filming crew go in earlier.

They're here to report on a movie shoot that was...

scheduled two months ago.

- Just 10 minutes. - Please leave.

- Just a while. - Five minutes.

- Come on. - Why can't we go in?

- Please. - Let us in.

- Let us inside. - Why won't they let us film?

I knew it. The gate is blocked.

Do you think I didn't expect this?

Get out.

Does your nephew really go here?

How many nephews do you have?

I don't know. I have nephews that I don't know how they look.

Koreans love connections and money.

They do.

Hello.

They look so cool. The young men, full of energy.

Find him already. Did you memorize his face?

He does look handsome.

He's not the only handsome guy here.

What are you talking about?

(Yoon Deok's coffee is here)

As a student of the Police Academy,

I vow to serve, do my duty,

be responsible, and focus on my studies.

That's our scene.

We'll start with the flag bearers' entrance.

Everyone on standby.

1, 2, 3, 4. 1, 2.

Lower your firearms.

1, 2, 3, 4.

- Cut. - 1, 2.

Must we be here all day?

Why do their arms and legs move together?

Are they robots?

Here, Yeon Sil.

She's pretty cute. She tries too hard.

Doesn't she?

We sent the coffee van.

We received no prior notice of it.

She's a real actress.

Don't you watch TV? She works with Chun Se Kyung...

She's in "Secret Love in Seoul" too.

Look her up on the internet and...

I'll just show you.

Darn it. My phone's in the car.

No, let me.

Hello, I'm Han Jae Yi, a rookie actress.

You don't know me, do you?

You might remember my commercial,

so I'd like to reenact it for you if you don't mind.

Which one?

Do you really not know your crime?

How dare you put precious pearls...

all over your skin?

A natural Chinese medicinal cream that contains...

pearl powder and black amber paste.

Yunajour.

That was amazing.

Don't you know that famous commercial?

Come on.

How can you not know the famous fluttering hand action?

Yoon Deok.

Up and coming actress Han Jae Yi.

Thank you.

Left, right, 1, 2.

One.

Left, right, 1, 2.

Jae Yi, get ready.

Okay.

You two, you can't take photos.

Hi, are you Han Jae Yi?

Yes, I am.

I love you in your drama. I'm Han Ji Ho from Lady Focus.

Oh, you're a reporter.

You're dressed like...

Mr. Producer, just a moment.

I'll let you all talk.

Please write something nice.

When she hands out the coffees later,

snap a photo of her with Chun Se Kyung.

Yes, we're on the set.

Can you give us an interview?

Sure, of course.

Are you here today because of the coffee van?

Yes. Our drama's ratings went over 20 percent,

so I'm carrying out what I pledged to do...

and support Se Kyung in the process.

There's no other reason?

Is this your first time here?

Yes, it is.

Are you not here because...

your old friend's here too?

An old friend?

I don't have friends here.

You really don't know.

Jae Yi, do you...

by any chance remember Yoon Hui Jae?

Your real name is Gil Nak Won, right?

Jee Hye Won was your mother.

You must've asked people to keep quiet...

if anyone came asking about you.

However hard you try,

someone in this industry always talks.

It never works out.

My goodness, here you are, Jae Yi.

Thank you so much for making the long trip over.

I said you didn't have to bother.

This is why I just adore Jae Yi.

Thank you so much.

Thanks a lot.

What's wrong?

Are you sick?

- No, I need to... - What?

I need to go. Sorry.

Jae Yi.

You're here to honor your pledge.

Say something to your fans.

Are you very close to Chun Se Kyung?

Can you look over here?

What do you think about Yoon Hui Jae's autobiography?

As family of a victim,

you must be in shock that it was published.

- How do you feel? - A victim?

- What's this about? - Is that her?

Shut up.

Jae Yi.

I'm not bullying you. Just say how you feel.

You must have a huge grudge against Yoon Hui Jae.

I'll print it all.

If you're going to follow in your mom's footsteps,

wouldn't it help to get noticed this way?

(Han Ji Ho)

Recorders off.

No cameras.

(Come and Hug Me)

Was that you? And her?

How do they know each other?

Chae Do Jin. Where can I go to see him?

How do you know Han Jae Yi?

Wasn't it you two?

That night nine years ago.

The two kids who were there.

Can't I stay a little longer?

10 minutes, no, just 5.

We'll never see each other again.

Stay away today.

Yoon Hui Jae that lunatic...

Nak Won, can you still...

smile towards me?
