Ms. Ju.

Are you telling me...

this child is our So Yi?

Yes, Honorary Chairman.

But we searched every orphanage in this country...

but couldn't find her.

Where did you find her, Ms. Ju?

I found her at a recently established...

unapproved orphanage.

- "Unapproved orphanage?" - Yes.

The company has been sending updates for So Yi's data...

to new orphanages every quarter.

But the unapproved orphanages were excluded.

I was personally checking with them...

when I found her there.

The DNA test results have been completed.

Didn't you ask for my toothbrush a few days ago?

Was that for this?

Yes. I kept it from you until I was 100 percent sure.

I'm sorry.

But from what I see, she doesn't look that alike to Gyeo Ul.

Uncle. The DNA test results showed she was So Yi.

In other words, she must be So Yi.

We finally found our dear So Yi.

Thank you, deity.

Calm down, Young Ran.

Yu Jin. Run another DNA test.

There's no harm in being sure.

Yes. You're right, Honorary Chairman.

Let's do it again.

Goodness.

Ju Ae Ra is leaving today, right?

Yes. But that woman Ju Ae Ra...

We have to make her pay for her sins.

Can we let her leave like this?

It's better for Nam Yu Jin and Ju Ae Ra to be apart...

than together.

I'll make them pay one at a time.

- Hey. What about what I asked? - Yes?

Oh, here.

Thanks.

Getting many hands on this wasn't easy.

It sure feels reassuring to have you.

But why did you want the list of hospital patients on the day...

So Yi went missing?

I'm looking for witnesses of So Yi's kidnapper.

Someone must have seen her that day.

I'm going to meet everyone on the list...

and find So Yi.

Okay. I'll help too.

Yes, Mom?

"So Yi has been found?"

- Mom and Aunt. - Hey.

What's going on?

What do you mean by So Yi has been found?

- Gyeo Ul's uncle called us... - I see.

to tell us So Yi was found.

Young Jun. Let's go to our in-laws' house...

to meet So Yi.

Gil Ja. The honorary chairman is running the DNA test.

Let's go once the results are out.

Ms. Ju already did one. The results said it was a match.

So she must be So Yi.

- "Ms. Ju?" - Yes.

Let's wait, just in case.

It's not too late to leave after they contact us.

This girl's family won't appear or anything, right?

No. She's the daughter of a guy's junior I know.

But he's addicted to gambling,

so he leaves her with his old mother...

and hasn't raised her properly for a long time.

I see.

Have you settled everything with that junior?

Of course.

He left with the money after writing a note disowning her.

That reminds me, you switched the toothbrush...

of the girl's dad and of Yu Jin's, right?

Yes. I went into the house, disguised as a gasman,

and switched them this morning.

However hard I think of it,

the fact that Ju Ae Ra brought her is unsettling.

Hey. Young Jun.

Did you have someone look into the lab?

Yes.

But nothing out of the ordinary has happened until now.

Keep an eye on the lab until the results are out.

Just to be safe, okay?

Se Rin. What's wrong? Did something happen?

No. It's nothing.

Is it because of Director Nam?

"Director Nam?"

He didn't come to work today.

Is that what's troubling you?

No, it's not that.

Se Rin.

Tae Yang. I don't want...

to have this conversation again.

And let me make it clear again.

I don't want you to cross the line.

Mom. Welcome back.

Hey.

What were you two talking about?

It was nothing.

Aren't you tired, Mom? Let's head inside.

Why haven't we heard from them yet?

Young Jun give them a call again, will you?

Mom. It takes some time for the results to come out.

It's the honorary chairman.

Hello?

Yes, I understand.

Bye.

So? What are the results?

What did he say?

She's So Yi, right?

Yes, Mom. She's So Yi.

Gil Ja. This is great news.

Thank you.

Honey, we found our So Yi.

Goodness, So Yi. I'm your grandma.

Come here.

Come on.

Well then, So Yi.

Come to me.

I'm your grandma from your mom's side.

Come on. Why don't you come closer?

Let me have a better look at your face. Okay?

Calm down, Mom.

She looks startled.

She seems to have a lot of emotional scars.

Meeting new people makes her anxious.

We're all strangers to her. She must be frightened.

Right.

Why don't we all sit down first?

Us all standing up could scare her more.

- Here. - Okay.

I can't believe we finally found our So Yi.

I can die at peace now.

Dad. You can't die.

We need to live happily with So Yi now.

You're right. We should.

But who's my daddy?

What?

Is Yu Jin not back from the lab?

So Yi!

Where's So Yi?

- So Yi. - Daddy!

So Yi, it's me, Daddy.

Goodness, she was scared of all of us,

but she ran right into her daddy's arms.

Gyeo Ul would have loved to see this moment.

So Yi,

you grew up so much without Mommy.

Young Jun, how is she?

She's a bit scared of people,

but she'll be fine soon with her family's love.

You must miss her a lot.

I can let you meet her.

No, she must be confused with all the strangers...

who just came into her life.

I don't want to add to that.

Let me see her once she's settled in.

Okay.

Anyway,

of all people,

Ju Ae Ra was the one who found her.

It's quite ironic.

Father, is So Yi asleep?

Yes.

She just fell asleep in Yu Jin's arms.

Ms. Ju, thank you so much.

How can we repay your kindness?

Please don't say that.

I am glad I was able to do something...

for your family before I left for New York.

Did you change your flight to tomorrow?

Yes, I should leave.

Please excuse me.

I hope you all stay healthy.

Goodbye.

My goodness.

Father, can we really let her go like this?

She even found So Yi for us.

It's about time I got a call.

Hello, Mother?

Ae Ra, you should cancel your flight right now.

What? What do you mean?

I overheard my father-in-law and husband talking.

He's going to cancel your overseas appointment.

Goodness, really?

Yes, all right. Goodbye.

Find So Yi,

and I will grant you anything you want.

It was just as I thought.

I found his granddaughter for him.

He can't throw me out that easily.

(YJ Group)

Se Rin, I'm sorry Ae Ra reclaimed her position...

as the senior manager of the Planning Team.

It's okay.

I heard you found So Yi.

Congratulations.

Thank you.

Se Rin, you knew my daughter's name?

Yes, I heard it somewhere.

You must be happy.

Of course, it took five years to find her.

My family and I are happy,

but So Yi must feel out of place.

She cries to sleep every night, and it worries me.

She cries to sleep every night?

Yes. But she'll get used to us soon.

I'm sure she will.

I'd love to meet your daughter too.

Really?

Then we should all meet when the right time comes.

I know she'll be as happy as I am to meet you.

Right, and...

Although Ae Ra isn't going to New York,

please remember that my feelings for you are the same.

Okay.

(Planning Team)

Hey.

Hello, Ms. Ju.

Thanks for sitting in as the senior manager for me.

I've returned to the office now,

so why don't we have a chat about the projects...

we have worked on?

Sure.

(Meeting Room)

How does it feel to get demoted only in a matter of a few days?

You already know, right? I found Yu Jin's daughter.

Not only is he on my side, his entire family is with me now.

So stop messing with him.

Is that all you have to say?

I'm leaving.

Right.

Thanks for finding the girl.

What?

Why are you thanking me?

I'm thanking you on behalf of Yu Jin.

What was that?

Does she think she's his wife?

Who's this?

Gosh.

The person you have reached is...

Darn it. Why won't she pick up?

She's my last chance of getting some money.

That's the only way I can eat meals with meat comfortably.

Goodness, Young Soo.

Wait, that's Kyung Sook.

Something urgent came up.

Here.

Please look after the baby for me.

What? Your granddaughter?

Did something happen to your daughter?

I can't give you the details right now.

Anyway, please do this for me.

I'll come back for her.

Until I do, you must keep her. It must be you, okay?

Hey, Kyung Sook!

Young Soo, one second.

Wait, Ms. Seo!

Where are you going? Ms. Seo!

She finally fell asleep.

Father, are you sure So Yi is all right?

If she is, then why is she crying so much?

Dr. Kim said she was healthy.

She's probably trying to settle in.

If she settles in once again, I'll probably die off first.

Young Ran, you always wanted to find So Yi desperately.

Do you hate her already only after a few days?

Come on, Ji Seok.

That's not what I mean.

I have lots of things to do.

Our maid quit her job recently too,

so I have to do all the chores around here.

The maids keep quitting...

because you bully her.

They wanted to report you for workplace bullying,

so my father had to stop them.

Goodness, that is...

Forget it. There's no talking to you.

I'm already looking for a new maid,

so hang in there a little.

Ae Ra!

So Yi, you're up again.

I miss Ae Ra.

When will she come?

Is that girl doing everything just as I said?

Hello, Mother?

Hey, Ae Ra. Are you busy right now?

If you aren't, can you come here?

Why?

You're the only one So Yi wants right now.

Can you come and comfort her?

Okay, Mother. I'll be there soon.

This unknown number keeps calling me.

Hello?

You didn't pick up my call five years ago.

So why did you suddenly reach out to me?

I'm sorry.

After losing the baby back then,

I couldn't answer your calls for some unavoidable reasons.

You lost the baby?

Didn't you throw her away?

Technically, I didn't throw her away.

Either way, I had no other choice.

Well,

I doubt you called me to apologize for the incident five years ago.

Get to the point.

Listen. I...

need money.

The money you gave me back then...

I got scammed by a crook.

I'm being chased by loan sharks right now.

They might kill me if I get caught.

Why should I...

give you money?

Your business is yours.

It has nothing to do with me.

So don't call me again.

You'll regret it if you leave now.

The baby back then. YJ Group's granddaughter.

Would it be all right if I tell that family you had ordered me...

to kidnap her?

Are you blackmailing me right now?

And do you have any proof...

I ordered it?

Even if I don't, I am the witness.

"Witness?"

Who would believe you,

the child abductor?

I guess you came before hearing the news.

The baby you threw away?

I found her.

You found her?

From where?

That's none of your concern.

Anyway, don't appear before me ever again.

Make it quick. This cold is killing me.

What is it, Mal Ja?

Young Soo. Let's go on a date today.

We already had our date.

Why do you want to go on another date?

Why aren't you hooking me up with your Miss Korea friend?

Gosh. I'll do it, okay? I'll keep my promise.

Seol Nam's snooping around our store again.

And I got free tickets to the movies...

that expire today.

"Free tickets?"

Fine.

But keep your promise this time.

Good grief.

It sure is hard to get a blind date. Seriously.

It was clearly Kyung Sook.

Oh, right. Ms. Seo.

Who were you going after at the market?

Uncle. I saw Kyung Sook,

the woman who had left Ha Neul with me five years ago.

What? Why did she appear all of a sudden?

Is she going to take away our Ha Neul?

No way.

I already confirmed that Ha Neul wasn't Kyung Sook's granddaughter.

Even if she wants to take her back now,

I won't allow that to happen.

Then why did you go after her?

Ha Neul might want...

to look for her real parents in the future.

I thought it was best to know something for that day.

- Mom. - Hey, Ha Neul.

Welcome back, Ha Neul.

What happened to your clothes?

I played in the sand with my friends at the kindergarten playground.

Is that so?

Come here, Ha Neul. Let's get changed.

What is it?

What's this? So Yi's birthmark has changed.

It didn't look like that when she was little.

Birthmarks can change as kids grow up. Right?

Is that so?

I'm here.

Welcome, Ae Ra. I mean Ms. Ju.

Ae Ra! What took you so long?

I missed you so much.

Really?

Then why don't we go and play upstairs?

Okay.

I'll leave after playing with So Yi upstairs.

Sure.

Shall we go?

- Let's go. - Good gracious.

Is she that happy? My gosh.

That was the first time So Yi smiled that brightly...

after coming to our house.

By the way, Father.

If Ms. Ju's around, So Yi might not cry at night.

Should I ask her to sleep over today?

"Sleep over?"

Why should So Yi and Ms. Ju sleep together?

Well...

Ms. Ju isn't our family. Don't say such a thing.

So Yi should break away from Ms. Ju...

and get along with our family.

Darn it. That spiteful old man.

I found his granddaughter for him. But this is how he wants to play?

Listen. You must do as I tell you to tonight.

Only then can the both of us live here forever.

Got it?

Seol Nam pulled away after the date with Young Soo last time.

But let's keep that from Young Soo and go on dates with him.

Why isn't Gil Ja coming?

Gosh.

Oh, it's Young Soo.

Yes, Young Soo?

Hey, Mal Ja. We need to cancel today's date.

What? How come?

I suddenly have to fill in for a part-time shift.

What? "Fill in?"

- Excuse me! - Yes, ma'am. Give me a minute.

I'm busy, so let me call you later.

I'll be right with you!

Young Soo?

What the heck? How annoying.

Mal Ja. What are you grumbling about?

Oh, it's nothing.

What are all of these, Gil Ja?

Oh, these are all for So Yi.

I want to do everything I couldn't do for her until now.

Goodness. Look at you, all excited.

Are you that happy?

Of course.

You can't imagine how thrilled I am.

But Gyeo Ul will be over the moon to see So Yi.

I should visit her with So Yi one day.

Gil Ja. Let's go once So Yi settles in.

She's not going anywhere.

So Yi?

So Yi!

So Yi?

What is it, Yu Jin?

I can't find So Yi.

Isn't she in her room?

Ae Ra tucked her into bed earlier.

What?

So Yi must have left the house.

Her shoes aren't here.

- What? - What?

So Yi left the house?

- Find her quickly. - Yes, Father.

- Yu Jin, let's go find her outside. - Okay.

I'll report her missing to the police.

Dad!

Here, Young Jun. Please pass them on to So Yi.

Gosh. So Yi will be delighted.

You want to see her, don't you?

Of course. Since we're on the topic,

can't you set up a meeting with her?

I thought I could wait, but I don't think I can.

I miss her so much.

All right. I'll try to set up a meeting one way or another.

Hold on.

Right.

Yes, Mr. Nam?

What? So Yi is gone?

Yu Jin.

She wasn't over there.

Young Jun.

What do you mean by So Yi is lost?

I don't know. She suddenly disappeared.

But what brings you here, Se Rin?

You see, I was in a meeting with Mr. Jung...

when I heard So Yi went missing.

I can give you a hand looking for her together.

Did you make a report to the police?

Yes, but we haven't heard back from them yet.

Where on earth did she go?

A kid couldn't have gone far alone.

Why don't we look again? We'll take that side.

- Okay. - See you later.

- So Yi! - So Yi!

So Yi!

So Yi!

Where are you?

- Excuse me, may I ask something? - Sure.

Have you seen a girl with a bob?

She's about this tall.

- No. - No.

So Yi!

By now, Yu Jin's family is probably looking for her like crazy.

Hey, Yu Jin.

Ae Ra, later.

I'll call you later.

Hey, wait. Does this concern So Yi?

She's at my place right now.

Come on in.

So Yi!

Where did you go without telling me? You surprised me.

I wanted to see Ae Ra.

Let's not stand around. We should sit down and talk.

Se Rin, you were here too.

She was with me, so she came to help us find So Yi.

But how did she make it to your apartment by herself?

She took a taxi and came over.

I brought her back to my place when I found her,

so she must have remembered that.

She probably didn't have any money.

How did she grab a cab?

I saw her crying because of the taxi fare,

so I called Director Nam as soon as I found her.

It's a huge relief you found her.

- Thank you, Ms. Ju. - Sure.

Then please excuse me.

Ae Ra, don't go. Please live here with me.

So Yi, she must go.

You can sleep with Grandma tonight.

No! I want to sleep with Ae Ra.

I should probably go.

Ms. Ju.

Please stay here with So Yi for a while.

Ms. Ju, I'm glad you're here.

Honorary Chairman, thank you for letting me come.

I should thank you for coming.

Please look after So Yi while you stay with us.

Let's have a great time, So Yi.

I'm so happy to have you here, Ae Ra.

Goodness.

At night, you can sleep in the guest room upstairs.

Okay.

I may have to sleep in the guest room for now,

but soon, Yu Jin's room will be mine too.

And let the maid know if you need anything.

I asked her to pay extra attention to you.

Excuse me, maid.

Yes, Ms. Cha?

Ae Ra, say hi to our maid.

Hello...

I heard a lot about you.

You were the one who found their granddaughter, So Yi.

I'm here at your service.

(Woman in a Veil)

Why are you here?

Is she really So Yi?

Hi, So Yi. I'm Seo Ha Neul.

Hi, Ha Neul.

She's not the real So Yi.

She did this.

I didn't break this.

Let me open a retail store.

Please help me out this once.

Did you think it'd be that easy to be the lady of YJ Group?
