Watch where you're going!

I'm sorry.

It's you...

Sun Hee!

What are you doing at the airport?

What are you doing here?

Are you going on a trip?

What about your son in the hospital?

Did you pretend some random patient was your son

after conning someone for money again?

- Quiet! - I told you not to do that.

I'll talk to you later. This isn't the best time.

- Kyung Ja, what about my money? - You should have some morals!

I'll stop liking you.

Jeez.

They say love is like quicksand. You don't realise falling in love,

and you can't escape it.

Even great philosophers could not stop it even with the ego

which made them give up completely.

How could she give up just like that?

Shanghai control.

Shanghai control.

Roger.

I'm sorry.

Did you pretend some random patient was your son

after conning someone for money again?

What about my money?

I'll address what you said on the rooftop. No, thanks.

You're forbidden from taking flights starting today.

How could this happen?

Thank you so much.

No problem.

- Have a safe ride home. - Thanks.

Hello.

Hey, Do Hee.

You're home.

Did you have dinner?

You bought another insurance plan from the neighbour, huh?

She's struggling being a single mum and all.

I feel bad for her.

She drives an imported car.

You think you're kind, don't you?

You're not kind. You're foolish.

Go on living your life getting duped forever.

Do Hee.

You were right.

I'm a complete idiot.

I got hired!

I got hired!

I got hired as a flight attendant at Donghae!

You did?

How?

Donghae hires criminals now?

The company must not know.

Do Hee!

I got hired!

Wow! I've never felt this way before, mother!

Mother?

Pretend we don't know each other, okay?

It's your father's order.

The heavens must've given you a chance so you can repent.

Like I care.

Hardships may befall me, but I will not let it get me down.

I got hired because I did as you said.

Now, I'll be with you 24/7!

Please.

Please.

"Congratulations"

I got the job?

I got hired at Donghae as a flight attendant!

Thank you for giving me my new beautiful face,

dear cosmetics surgeons!

Finally, our luck has changed!

My daughter working for a big-time company?

It'll go down in family history!

I'm so proud of you.

Wait a minute.

What if as soon as you start,

Do Hee and Woo Jin get on your case?

Interns get fired these days.

I'm here to see Do Hee.

She's not here.

Who's this?

I'm her aunt.

Her mother sent me to bring her some food.

I'd been dying to know more about Do Hee's mother.

I'm glad you're here.

You should just come empty-handed the next time you come.

Woo Jin must not have told her about getting beaten.

I couldn't do that.

As Do Hee's aunt, I have to make up for whatever her mother can't.

Her mum hardly has breaks as a sauna exfoliator.

That's her line of work?

Oh, I guess you hadn't heard.

The house looks totally different now.

This used to belong to Dae Pyung

so there were big factory machine parts here.

Dae Pyung must've gone under.

It didn't go under.

My father-in-law sold the company

to invest in the city's urban planning business.

Woo Jin's grandfather used to be the owner of Dae Pyung?

Sun Hee cleaned that house when it's over 330 square metres?

I said Woo Jin's family used to own Dae Pyung.

Who cares how big the house is?

Did you talk to Do Hee about Sun Hee not working?

That's not the issue at hand.

Then what is?

Ever heard of return on investment?

What?

Do Hee will live like a queen if she marries Woo Jin.

And it'd be all thanks to Sun Hee.

Sun Hee paid for her tuition,

and she'd get married behind her back?

That would never happen.

I won't allow Sun Hee to be the town idiot anymore.

Family is family for a reason.

We need to step up.

We need to get returns

on the investment Sun Hee made on Do Hee.

I'll get it from her.

How could she clean that big house all by herself?

What is this about?

Since we'll be family soon, let's drop the formalities.

What you're doing isn't cool, man.

Do Hee has always been selfish.

But that's no way to be a man.

You should've stopped Do Hee from bossing Sun Hee around.

You haven't even apologised for the attack.

What's this nonsense?

Sun Hee has it tough being the sole breadwinner.

Tell Do Hee to stop being such a witch,

and you should man up and keep your woman in line.

Who are you asking to man up?

Do Hee may be strange,

but she has a heart of gold and cannot stand seeing suffering.

Why talk behind her back? You don't know her well enough.

Don't ask strangers for help,

and keep your family in line.

Man up.

Woo Jin,

did you just stood up for Do Hee?

Even philosophers with the help of ego cannot stop love.

The force is too strong, they gave up.

Love is like quicksand. You don't realise falling in love,

and you can't escape from it.

No matter how hard you try,

not even the ego can stop it.

Me?

You know nothing about me, Woo Jin.

What do you know?

You're babbling all day, and drinking all night.

What do you think you're doing?

Get back to work!

Don't you have a sense of sympathy?

Don't you see how hurt I am?

Don't you see my pride's been trampled on?

What about me?

Can't you see I'm hurt?

Because of that dish-breaking fatso,

and you who never works, I'm at my wit's end!

I'm giving you a warning.

This is her second one and your first.

Anyone who gets three is fired.

You know that I don't take pity when it comes to work, right?

Man.

Are you crying?

She must've given you an earful.

I deserve it.

I'm clumsy because I have such fat fingers.

I keep dropping the dishes.

But the customers love you because you're so affable.

I'm way worse than you.

Don't let her get you down.

You're not so bad.

I was told I wasn't a man enough.

And I can't seem to let it go.

It got me right where it hurts most.

Because I'm a loser unable to protect my woman from harm.

Don't inflict pain on yourself.

I wish I had a man like you.

Even for just one day.

That's what I think every day.

You don't have a boyfriend?

No man would ever like me.

Even I don't like me!

I cut Aunt Do Hee's nails because they needed a trim.

You're right.

Her swelling went down. She's looking healthier.

Doesn't it feel like she'll be up soon?

Yeah.

That feels so good.

You wanted to see me?

Do you want to be scrubbed?

No, you're Do Hee's mother, right?

You know the house in which Do Hee currently resides? Well, I'm the...

Wait, aren't you...

Dae Hap All-Girls' High School, senior class five president

the smarty-pants, Lee Moon Sook?

Vice president of class five?

Ms. Conceited, Kim Gong Joo?

Oh, my gosh!

- Oh, my gosh! - Oh, my gosh!

"Explanation"

This is an explanation of the circumstances.

I thought it over

and I can't accept being asked not to fly.

There's someone who desperately wants me to fly.

I...

must fly.

Don't you know?

Ms. Oh ordered that you be taken off flights.

I know but it's not fair.

I did nothing wrong.

If you keep this up,

I'll report you for defying company orders.

And what comes thereafter will be far worse.

Woo Jin.

You don't have a flight today.

You requested a week-long flight on your own accord?

Work takes the mind off things.

That's what I'm striving for.

You're working so hard to avoid Do Hee.

I'll prove she has alcohol-related dementia,

and make sure she loses her job.

"Recruiting the Smile Queen"

Who's the one who advised dad's script,

stating he'll step down?

He betrayed us both.

Jin. Song Woo Jin.

Jin's the one who really advised dad?

After what happened with you,

your father looked to him for help.

I figured he was being kind because he was his friend's son.

But he's made all the decisions regarding this project,

and worked as your dad's right-hand man.

Jin did that?

Yes?

I asked one of the standby pilots to take your flight,

so cancel the flight and come see me.

You know where we always meet up, right?

Tae Ri wants to see you.

What's your favourite food? What's your favourite--

The man who took Do Hee's from the secretary's office, right?

A few days ago, they halted all her flights,

and today, Mr. Oh's secretary took her?

She's got her hand in everything.

Who took Do Hee?

Mr. Gong, did you take Do Hee?

It was Tae Ri, right?

Don't tell Tae Ri and tell me where Do Hee is right now!

Mr. Chae wants to see you.

Why is that jerk looking for me?

It's your wedding reception. He's has the right to do so.

Life's no fun for me.

I hardly got through the wedding and I'm already sick of him.

Let's go.

I'll take you home.

Will you run away with me?

You've known me since we were kids.

I think things will be different with you.

I want to live with you.

You should go home.

Woo Jin sure is amazing.

Fine, you aloof jerk!

I get it. I hope you end up that way forever.

If I can't have you...

no one can.

It's late, Ms. Oh.

I was fired as you know, so just call me Tae Ri.

You're like a mirage.

I can see you but I can't have you.

So I can't ever get sick of you.

I keep wanting you more.

Please cut to the chase.

Were you behind dad's plan?

What's the intention?

You're not trying to challenge me, are you?

There aren't any intentions.

I'm only doing what I believe is right.

Jin.

I brought Do Hee.

Wait here.

My slave girl's being bad so I have to set her straight.
