Ms. Min.

Hello?

I told Hardy to pick up Quanquan.

I'll pick you up after work.

(We haven't spent intimate time together in some time.)

Ms. Min?

I'll take you somewhere special.

(I got it.)

(I have work to do. I have to hang up.)

Hello?

At least let me finish.

What is it?

Ms. Min.

I wasn't in cahoot with Ding Yifeng.

I did as you said.

But somehow...

It's alright.

It's alright.

I believe you.

This has nothing to do with you.

There were some errors in other processes.

So...

Are you really leaving?

Words travel faster than expected.

I haven't decided yet.

But Meimei,

whether I stay or leave,

you must keep up the good work.

Stay alert and brave.

Is that clear?

Understood, Ms. Min.

Alright.

I haven't decided yet.

Get back to your work.

Is this the special place you mentioned?

Be patient.

What is this about?

At this point, Qian and his family had already moved in.

This is their house now.

Come on.

No.

This is their home now.

This

has always been your home.

So...

You were the one who bought the house.

Could you ask your friend a favor

and buy this house under their name?

I'll pay for the house.

Qian has already

transferred the house to Quanquan's name.

Now we need your signature.

Are you upset?

Sorry, this was my fault.

I didn't want the house to be sold off.

It carries so many

memories of you and Quanquan.

I didn't want you to regret selling it.

Why are you apologizing?

Xin Qi.

Thank you.

Thank you for caring so much about Quanquan and me.

Thank you for giving us a proper home.

In the past,

I was a little dramatic.

You are only a little bit hard to persuade.

♪'Cause I always love you♪

Alright.

I know you feel sad at the moment.

But don't forget,

you still have Quanquan and me.

You will always have my support.

I'll root for you.

Are you hungry?

I haven't eaten anything today.

Say something sweet to me.

Let your husband get you some delicious food.

There is something

more insane

that I'd rather do now.

What is this place?

Are we here to let off some steam?

Yes.

Come on.

Xin Qi.

Hit that bottle as hard as you can.

It's very relaxing.

I'll get you a different bat after you get the hang of it.

Okay.

How was that?

This is interesting.

I wish I could leave

just as Min Hui does.

Is Ms. Min really leaving Be Agile?

She hasn't decided yet.

But she is probably leaving

due to her past with Cheng Qirang.

So why can't you leave?

It's different for me.

I do marketing.

It's easy to step into this field,

but it's very tough to get a high position.

Therefore, whether I like it or not,

staying in Be Agile is the best option for me.

If you're not happy there,

just quit.

I can take care of you.

I'm not saying we should get married.

I mean,

you don't have to put up with this job

for the sake of making a living.

I want you to be happy.

I'm so glad to have you here.

What would I do

without you?

You will always have me by your side,

silly.

(How long have we been in this relationship?)

(Over five years.)

(Do you regret it?)

(Why do you bring that up?)

(Answer me.)

Seriously?

You're crying?

What?

It's called "Cinema of Tears."

Why can't I cry?

You can cry.

I feel like crying too.

But it's hard

for me to cry while watching this.

Could we get a different movie?

Wait here.

(The sea turtle has been living freely on Earth)

(for 200 million years.)

(Most sea turtles live in shallow water.)

(Aside from laying eggs and getting a sunbath,)

(they rarely get on shore.)

What is this?

Animal Planet.

(Female turtles only go on shore to lay eggs.)

What's wrong?

(After the sea turtles mate,)

(the female goes to land to lay eggs.) Don't you think...

Don't you think life is majestic?

Hush, hush.

(They then return to the sea.) Hush.

Hush.

(Cash check: 2,500,000 Yuan)

What is the meaning of this?

Take the money.

Go abroad

or go home.

Don't stay in Bincheng.

Remember one thing.

Do not let me see you again.

Are you breaking up with me?

Why?

Cheng Qirang.

How could you...

Of course I can.

This relationship has always been

a fair deal.

A deal?

After all the time

we've spent together,

it's only a deal to you?

I gave you my heart.

I thought my love would be answered.

So you've been using me all this time?

You're getting rid of me now.

Is that right?

Not a chance, Cheng Qirang!

Cheng Qirang, I can ruin your entire life.

I'll tell the world about this relationship.

I'll tell the world

how you sexually harassed Min Hui.

I still have the evidence.

I have it with me!

I'll ruin your life.

I'll get Zheng family to kick you out of Guanchao!

What did you do five years ago?

Tell me.

Come on.

Say it!

You're scared.

You are right.

Ambition comes with a price.

I was too naive.

Now, it's your turn to choose.

You can either

make me Be Agile's general manager,

or

you can have your reputation and wealth taken from you.

You have three days.

Think it through.

Let's see if you can ditch me

before I bring you down.

I need something done.

Wouldn't it be great if all the worries

could be washed away

by crying your heart out?

But reality won't let us escape.

Well? Have you made up your mind?

Cheng Qirang is in Be Agile now.

I can't stay there for another second.

I'm sensing a "but".

But,

he's blackmailing me with Cai Wenji and the others' jobs.

If I leave,

the whole R&D Team B is in a tough time.

That's true.

He never ceases to surprise me

with how low he can stoop.

Yeah.

I recruited the whole team myself.

We've worked on so many projects.

I watch them grow and become mature.

This job is very important to them.

If they resign now,

due to the NCC,

they won't find any new positions for quite some time.

Not to mention the AI modeling project

I've worked on for so long.

If I leave,

the project will be put to a halt.

It will be shelved for good.

But when I think about

all the patients in the rural regions

who lack medical assistance

and might not be able to get the treatment they need

due to the lack of transportation or medical facilities,

I realize they might spend

their lives in fear and pain.

They could be children about Quanquan's age,

or they could be elderly.

There are many who have the same condition as yours.

They have great potential,

but they can't have a future due to the sicknesses.

If these people are abandoned,

what should they do?

The thought of it makes me sad.

Just as you said,

destiny doesn't allow us to escape.

I've decided to stay.

That is my duty.

You act like you had already known.

If I didn't know you this well,

would you still love me?

Do I love you?

Don't you?

Not really.

Not really?

Not really. Get over yourself.
