(Jiaren Hospital)

How is he?

He has woken up.

But he didn't dare to contact his family.

I've been standing guard by the door.

What about his injuries?

Nothing serious.

Just a dislocated arm.

Nothing fatal.

Ms. Min Hui didn't hurt him too badly.

I already said that there's no need to inform my family.

Looks like you also know

that you can't let Zheng Yiting find out about this.

One of your people sent me here.

I'm sure I don't need

to explain to you why I am here.

Not only do I know the reason,

I also regret not being able to land a few punches on you.

I'm going to sue Min Hui for intentional injury.

How long do you think she'll be sentenced

for putting me into this condition?

Are you interested in being my witness?

You must be joking, Mr. Cheng.

Min Hui

was just defending herself.

We don't even know

who the police will arrest.

Everything has changed now that she has a backer.

Xin Qi, I've been wanting to ask you this.

How did you make Min Hui yours?

With money

or with projects?

I have a question.

How long will it usually take

to recover from a dislocated arm?

It'll take around a month.

Please excuse me. I have to take this call.

Thank you.

Ms. Min Hui.

Aunt.

Is something weighing down on my mom lately?

Why did you ask that?

She has been frowning a lot lately.

She doesn't even smile when I try to make her feel better.

Another thing.

Daddy insists on letting me stay with you today.

I'm sure there's something going on

that they don't want me to know.

Such a smart child.

Quanquan. Adults have their own worries.

You don't have to worry about them.

Moreover,

you need to believe in Min Hui.

You always say

that your mother is a superwoman, right?

But I still want to cheer her up.

How are you going to do that?

I think that's a great idea.

But I don't have money.

I do.

But I don't want to use the money from another person.

You are so cute.

You are exactly like Xin Qi when he was young.

How about this?

Do you want to know how to earn money?

You know how to earn money?

Of course.

When it comes to earning money,

I'm way better at it than your dad.

Really?

How about this?

Kiss me and I'll teach you.

Finish your food

and I'll teach you how to become a millionaire.

(Inpatient Department)

Hardy.

Ms. Min Hui.

Ms. Xin is already inside.

Okay.

But I want

to resolve this issue myself.

Okay.

I don't care how Min Hui managed to seduce you.

I just want to ask you this.

Have you never suspected her

of approaching you for your money?

I had.

I even hurt her because of that.

And it was the most regretful thing that I had ever done.

Cheng Qirang.

You say that you like her.

But your feelings for her are not love.

You just want to own her.

Same with me.

I say that I love her.

But I'm the one who hurt her the most.

We've loved and hated each other deeply

in the past.

So, in the future,

as long as I still live,

I won't allow anyone to hurt her,

including me.

So, don't challenge me.

I'm willing

to do anything for her at this moment.

Since you are here to beg me today,

shouldn't you

show how sincere you are?

Who says I'm here to beg you?

You want to file a police report?

Go ahead.

I'll hire the best lawyer in Bincheng for her.

We can also reinvestigate your sexual harassment case

from five years ago.

As soon as I have the evidence,

I'll sue you at once.

It doesn't matter even if I can't find the evidence.

I can just put this on the internet

and let the netizen be the judge of it.

By the way,

Zheng Bangguo has the intention of making you his successor, right?

Do you think he'll change his mind

when he hears about this kind of scandal?

Are you threatening me?

No.

Why would I threaten you?

What you are going through now

is nothing compared to how Min Hui

had suffered five years ago.

I'll get going now.

Have a safe journey.

Mr. Xin, you've finally succeeded.

It's late now.

You should get some rest.

My first job is with Be Agile

right after I graduated.

I never thought that I would continue to work there until now.

I've given my youth and everything to Be Agile.

I've spent half of my life

at Be Agile.

Everything that I have now

is because of Be Agile.

You are wrong.

You didn't become great because of Be Agile.

Instead, Be Agile has become great because of you.

Even if Be Agile is acquired by another company,

it doesn't mean that you have to leave.

Even if it happens

and you lose your job...

Hey!

I'll take care of you.

What are you doing? Are you imitating Zhou Xingchi?

You should take care of yourself first.

I'm not joking with you.

I'll take care of you.

Although I don't earn as much as you do right now,

I'll continue to work hard.

It's okay. I know.

You are not my husband.

I know you just want to help.

I'll come up with a solution.

That's right.

Why should I wait for another company

to acquire Be Agile?

Husband?

Was she

hinting at me?

Why are you still awake?

I can't sleep.

Where were you just now?

I...

You looked cool when you acted like

the domineering CEO.

You were at the hospital?

I heard what you said.

Thank you.

Do you trust me now?

I'll keep my promise

to you.

Do you know?

Lately,

I've been thinking about the first time

we met five years ago.

I wonder when this tree

can grow up to that size.

Actually, if we think about it carefully,

I was the one who mistook you for Su Tian.

But I blamed you

for everything.

Min Hui.

I owe you an apology.

I remember someone once told me

that with enough time,

everything will become

good memories in the end.

Looks like it's true.

Maybe it has nothing

to do with time.

Good or bad,

it depends on the state of our mind.

Min Hui,

compared to what happened five years ago,

I would rather focus on our future.

I won't let myself live in the past.

You shouldn't do that too.

You are right.

We shouldn't live in our memories.

Just like what happened with Cheng Qirang.

It's in the past now.

That day,

I found this on your bed

when I cleaned your room.

(Instead, Be Agile has become great because of you.)

(Come to me when you are at the company. I have something important to discuss.)

Ms. Cao.

What is it that is so important?

Do we have to wait for Min Hui?

I have two meetings later.

Please wait for a while longer, Mr. He.

I promise you

that what I'm about to say

will be more important than your meetings.

I'm sorry.

Please have a seat.

I only saw your message when I was on my way here.

What is it?

Okay. Everyone is here now.

What I'm about to say next

is confidential.

So, I hope

that I won't hear anything about it outside of this office.

Are you here to talk about the acquisition issue?

Guanchao is behind it.

Guanchao has entered the acquisition war too?

It's okay.

He can acquire his company while we acquire ours.

We?

Yes.

No matter who owns Be Agile in the end,

it won't be better than how it is right now.

Rather than letting others acquire our company, we can be our own master.

MBO?

Yes. That's the one.

Management buyout.

If all the executives of Be Agile pool our money together to bid

for the acquisition in the name of the management team,

with the help of some venture capitalists and private equity firms,

we might win the bid.

Are you being serious?

Of course.

If it's a success,

we'll have more freedom in managing our company

and we can better

protect our teams,

our projects

and our research data.

I've thought about it too.

But where can we get the money?

Even if we reach out to venture capitalists,

each of us will have to put at least a few million into it.

You have overestimated me.

You are our core researcher.

You can offer us your skills

and some funds.

Yuanlai doesn't want us anymore.

Why don't we fight back and save ourselves?

Are you in

or are you out?

Blue Jay has only 300 million funds at its disposal.

It won't be enough to acquire Be Agile.

I've asked Hardy to contact the bank

to apply for a loan.

President.

Mr. Xin.

I've received a reply from the bank.

They can only loan us 200 million at most.

But

we need to use Blue Jay's shares as collateral.

No way.

The board won't agree to it.

What if I say

that I'll bear the consequences

of acquiring Be Agile by myself?

Jason.

Cindy.

I'm not being reckless.

Helping Min Hui is just one of the reasons.

I can really see the potential of Be Agile.

It's like a bamboo shoot in spring.

Only the top can be seen right now.

But when the spring rain comes,

it'll shoot up into the sky

and show everyone its worth.

I want to be that spring rain.

Isn't that our purpose

of being a venture capitalist?

Hardy.

Book a morning flight for me tomorrow.

Put together all the information

in the form of a PPT for me

before I board the plane.

I'll get it done.

Count me in.

Let me ask you this.

Why are you asking me to join you?

I don't think we are close enough

to cooperate on something of this scale.

You are the general manager of Be Agile.

If we are to proceed with the MBO,

we'll have to go through you.

So,

it's better to have an extra comrade instead of an extra enemy.

What about the money?

Whether it's the private equity firms or venture capitalists,

you can't get

that much money so easily.

I know some investment company owners.

I can also

contact the bank to get more money.

Actually, I've already contacted some venture capitalists.

At least three of them

are very interested in our proposal.

How about this?

If you can find any willing investors

within two weeks,

I'll join you.

No problem.

13,549.

7,586.

8,000.

Wait.

Wait. I'm in the middle of a calculation.

What are you calculating?

My balance.

Are you out of money?

What happened?

Cao Mu plans

to push for the MBO

with the executives of our company.

MBO?

That's daring of you.

Cao Mu has done the calculation.

Be Agile's current market valuation

is around 1 to 1.3 billion.

If we want to push for the MBO,

the executives

need to pay at least 3.5% of the total.

It means that you just need to collect 1 billion.

If you can raise your funds to 1.3 billion,

you'll have a high chance of winning the bid.

That's right.

It's about the same as my evaluation.

Cao Mu has done her research.

Yes.

She has been staying up late for the past few days

to work on the MBO.

I really want to help her.

But I haven't even settled my own issue yet.

I can't help her even if I want to.

That's not true.

How could I forget

that I have the God of Fortune by my side?

God of Fortune.

Are you interested in joining us?

Well.

It depends on how well you can convince me.

Let me show you what I can do then.

Is this enough?

No.

No?

I'm sorry. I was wrong.

(Spectrum Theatre)

Excuse me.

Is this where the ballet dancers come out?

Yes. This is the place.

Thank you.

Zizhu.

Zizhu, this is for you.

Do I have to accept it?

Besides, who says that I like roses?

I hate roses the most.

Zizhu.

With Blue Jay's current situation,

we don't have a lot of available funds.

But

I can get 500 million for you.

Then...

No. That's too much.

Don't feel pressured about it.

I'm not just doing it

for you.

I'm doing it for Be Agile and Blue Jay too.

Ask Cao Mu to come to my company tomorrow.

I'll talk about the details with her.

For the MBO, how much funds do you need?

Cao Mu, He Haixiang and the others

will take out 6 million each.

I'll be offering my skills too.

So, I just need to take out 3 million.

That's quite reasonable.

Tomorrow afternoon, I'll...

I want to settle this myself.

If I can't do it,

it means that I'm not capable enough.

If that's the case, I'll withdraw from the MBO.

Do you have to draw such a clear line between us?

There are things that I want to take care of myself.

Have faith in me.

I can do it.

Okay.

I respect your decision.

By the way,

if Blue Jay

is going to join our acquisition plan,

our relationship

will become a sensitive topic.

You understand, right?

I don't want to ruffle He Haixiang and the others.

So...

So, we have to keep our relationship

a secret.

That's right.

Yes. This bed is too small.

It can't fit all of us.

But it could fit us before this.

You even told me bedtime stories on it.

I shouldn't have helped you pursue Min Hui.

Now that you have Min Hui, you don't want your son anymore.

I'm regretting having him

as our son now.

Maybe we should take a rain check for today.

No. Let me take you back to your room.

Mummy, save me.

Don't go yet.

Take this with you.

Quanquan, the crocodile will keep you company.

- Let's go. - Mummy!

Quanquan!

I'm such a bad mummy.

Let me down.

Our neighbors are sleeping already.

Quanquan.

You have to be understanding.

What does it mean?

Being understanding

means that you are an adult from now on.

You have to learn how to sleep by yourself.

But I'm still a kid.

You are not.

You are Iron Man. You are an adult.

This will keep you company today.

Anyway,

don't go to me and Min Hui's room.

Looks like you are really exhausted.

Goodnight.

Xin Qi.

Are you asleep?

Xin Qi.

Do not sleep.

Do not sleep.

How can I sleep with you here?

(Be Agile Medical Technology)

Xin Qi said yes?

But Blue Jay can only offer 500 million at most.

As for the rest...

I've talked to two private equity firms.

One of them

is very interested

in the AI heart modeling technology

that Min Hui is working on.

I'm sure they'll invest in us.

The other firm is still considering it.

But I think it's very likely that they'll say yes too.

I think it's just an issue with the profit distribution.

Min Hui.

You should come with me tomorrow to meet the investor.

You can convince him with your professionalism.

No problem.

That's great.

As I said,

everyone knows the value of Be Agile.

Yuanlai will regret selling us off.

If we didn't work on

the AI heart modeling technology back then,

we wouldn't have been so popular right now.

It's pointless to bring that up now.

We are in the same boat now.

We should focus on the future.

If the acquisition is a success,

I'll be in charge of the management.

As for the R&D projects and technologies,

Min Hui can be in charge of them.

If the acquisition is a success,

we will be the shareholders.

Of course she'll be in charge of them.

But Mr. He,

what are you going to do

with Ding Yifeng?

What do you mean?

If this company becomes ours,

I won't hire an idler.

The most important thing now

is to work on the acquisition.

As for the rest,

we can discuss it later.

Let's go.

So, about that...

Ms. Cao.

We'll talk later. Let's go.

Why are they acting so cocky?

Are they hiding something from me?

Mr. He.

What are they planning again?

Nothing.

They came here to talk about work.

Mr. He.

Are we going to be acquired by Guanchao?

How would I know?

I can't find out anything from the new chairman.

Moreover,

it doesn't matter

who's at the helm. We are just the employees.

We just need to do our job.

That's right.

I'll just stick to you.
