Your Majesty.

Assassins.

Where?

How dare you!

Huna, not me.

Your Majesty, are you okay?

Dad.

Your Majesty!

- Your Majesty! - Your Majesty!

Your Majesty.

Your Majesty.

Come on, let's retreat!

Yes.

Yu.

♫ It's not my success to rule the whole world ♫

♫ It's not my wealth to embrace the moonlight ♫

♫ I'd like to give up luxury houses ♫

♫ To chase one falling star with my entire life ♫

♫ It's a wonderful trip even chasing around the world ♫

♫ All oceans can be my ports ♫

♫ I'm on the way alone ♫

Your Highness.

Your Highness, why do you go outside?

It's so snowy outside.

You might catch a cold.

Please go back to your room.

♫ Finally I learn how to wait ♫

♫ Hope that I can meet with stars ♫

♫ A star falls from the sky ♫

You two come inside with me.

It's too cold outside.

♫ Walking against the crowd ♫

♫ I can't find your hands ♫

♫ Fortunately when I turn around ♫

♫ With the waning light ♫

Baodao really made herself at home.

Yes, she did.

Before when we were on duty,

you always allowed us to sleep in the palace.

But recently His Majesty always had a rest

in Fengyi Palace.

So when we were on duty,

we were waiting for the order outside.

After His Majesty went to the frontline,

we're worried that

you don't like us to bother you.

So we're staying outside every night.

Don't stay outside next time.

It's too cold outside.

OK, thanks, Your Highness.

♫ So many people pay all they have ♫

♫ Trying to monopolize the moonlight ♫

♫ I also pursue that blindly ♫

♫ When can I know clearly that ♫

♫ you are away now ♫

I'm sorry.

His Majesty was hurt by a poisoned arrow.

The arrowhead is still inside.

I dare not take any action.

Dare not to take action?

You can't save His Majesty,

I will kill you.

What I can do is just to

keep him breathing.

And... And...

And what?

Say it.

And there is no other way.

Father. Father.

General Xu.

Father.

General Xu.

Father.

Come on.

Check what happened to my father.

Yes. General.

Gan.

I'm Jiji's target.

His Majesty saved me.

Dasheng's lord is reliable.

Jiji is so cruel to me.

I won't forgive that.

Many nobles have defected.

This counterattack by Jiji

aims to destroy us.

The whole northern part of Royal Court

was controlled by Jiji now.

We must try to get it back.

Let's go back to my tent first.

Discuss how to do it next.

Now His Majesty is now at stake.

The military doctor is at his wits' end.

And my father...

What can we do?

Yunlai.

This time you will follow

His Majesty to the frontline.

You must be careful and flexible.

If His Majesty gets into any troubles,

you must tell me.

Your Highness, please don't worry.

I promise I won't let you down.

I find it.

It's Flower Pill

by Senior Doctor Jiang.

I don't know if it works.

Flower Pill?

I know it.

My brother had it before.

Let His Majesty have it now.

Yes.

Father.

Your Majesty.

General Xu.

Now it's really in a critical situation.

I suggest that we send a mail to Jingan.

His Majesty is still at risk...

We need someone

who can make decisions.

You're right.

I'm thinking

if we should send a letter to my brother.

Her Highness told me before,

I should inform Her Highness at once

if His Majesty is in trouble.

Tell my sister?

I'm afraid she must be worried a lot.

General, His Majesty will be more dangerous

if we hesitate any longer.

Yunlai, write it now.

Yes.

Deputy General Xu.

About His Majesty's injury,

we need to keep it a secret.

Her Highness is the only one who will get the letter.

She will find a way

to ask my brother to come here.

Now the most urgent thing is

to find a great doctor,

to cure his injury.

Jiji is good at poison.

Just like his mother.

Indecent skills.

Unorthodox practices.

When Zamsi was alive,

he didn't like him.

Zamsi said

he was not like a real man at all.

It's your family's business.

You don't need to tell me.

And I don't care.

Just tell me how can I find Jiji?

He was always suspicious.

Even he controls the Royal Court now,

but I know him,

he won't live there.

General Xu.

Senior Doctor Jiang

is the best doctor.

If he can come here,

maybe His Majesty can be saved.

Doctor Wang, thanks a lot.

Have a rest now.

Thanks, General Xu.

Take care.

Yu.

Before your mother died,

she told me that,

she didn't want you to enjoy a luxurious life.

We only hope that

you can live a safe life.

I've been guarding the border for many years,

and having military command.

I don't dare to relax for one second.

I just hope that

you can live a comfortable life

in the palace.

You little girl.

Why do you come here suffering so much?

I should have listened to your mom.

You shouldn't learn martial arts.

I'm sorry.

I didn't take good care of you.

I'm the one who deserves death.

Now you are unconscious.

I dare not to die,

and I'm afraid to meet your mom in heaven.

I don't know

how to explain this to her.

Baodao. Baojian.

Steward Wudu.

Why are you in a rush?

I-It's a letter from His Majesty.

It's a letter from His Majesty?

Your Highness, His Majesty sent a letter.

His Majesty is hurt seriously.

General Xu is suffering his old injury,

but got injured again this time.

- His Majesty... - Your Highness.

Baojian.

Go to invite Lord Xiaoyao.

Wudu, you go to invite Senior Doctor Jiang

to Fengyi Palace.

Must be careful.

Keep it a secret.

- Yes. - Yes.

Wait.

Invite them to Zhaixing Pavilion.

-Yes. - Yes.

Is it true?

God bless me.

Duke.

Then I'm waiting for a great drama.

This drama can't be without your information.

Remember,

tell me at once

if you have any new information.

Yes.

As long as His Majesty dies in the frontline,

getting rid of Xu Ding

will be so easy.

My revenge for my father,

all of the things depend on Duke.

Well.

You may leave.

Zhu.

Yes, sir.

Invite Marquis secretly.

Yes, Duke.

Sister-in-law.

No. It's--

Brother, what should we do?

Both of you will die.

Don't get panic.

Wait for the diviner's result.

It's strange.

What does it show?

My apologies. It's unclear.

I am worried a lot.

Jinming.

I will go to the North by myself.

Well, no...

Dasheng's soldiers need me.

And my wife also needs me.

H-How about Jingan?

Yunlai is smart.

What he sent is a private home letter.

It isn't reported on military issues.

After I leave Jiangan,

if you have urgent problems,

you can discuss it with Mother and Prime Doctor.

Though uncle is wordy,

he can protect you.

Brother.

Or how about I take care of my sister-in-law?

I don't want to go to court.

It's fine.

Then just say you don't feel well.

Tell others,

recently stop holding court meetings.

Or others know that

His Majesty gets hurt,

you're the heir,

maybe you will be at risk.

Everyone knows.

Within three days,

he will receive a secret report from the military.

Moreover,

Is there anything he doesn't know?

His spies are around everywhere.

Your Highness.

Save the courtesy.

Senior Doctor Jiang, stop pretending.

All of us,

who doesn't know it's His Majesty?

Jiang Tang, my wife got hurt.

She got poisoned by Jiji.

I'd like to take you to the North with me.

Only you can save my wife.

Your Majesty.

But about my health...

I'm afraid that before I arrive in the North,

I'll die first.

Please keep warm.

This time I'm sorry you have to go.

Only say sorry to him?

Your Majesty, please consider that.

General Xu is suffering from his old injury.

And Xu Yu is unconscious now.

Our military needs a leader and a doctor.

So this time,

Xu Jun will also come with us.

Yes, Your Majesty.

Is it true?

I invited you at late night,

how could it not be true?

Congratulations, Duke.

His Majesty helped Huna, the daughter of Zamsi

get the Royal Court back.

But Jiji lives in exile abroad.

A woman leads the military without convincible reason

of course, no one helps her.

As long as we support Jiji a lot,

then the North can be stable.

With new hatred piled on old,

Jiji won't forgive Xu Ding easily.

Yes, of course.

Xiao Jinyun fell into a coma,

he won't live for a long time.

Xiao Jinyun has no kids.

Xiao Jinming wants to have fun.

Then he needs Duke's help.

It looks like you should give up

your retirement plan.

Jinyun doesn't listen to my suggestion.

Or as his uncle,

could I not help him?

Xiao Jinyun is too young.

Too naive.

Without a strong body,

how could he lead the troop himself like his father?

He thought of a battle as a game.

You're clear-minded.

In any case,

Family Xu didn't escort His Majesty well,

and even intended to rebel with Huna.

They can't get rid of this accusation.

But the military hasn't reported anything.

We can't announce that publicly

in the court meeting.

Ask an officer to go for a routine inspection.

It's easy.

Only it's said that

His Majesty does fall into a coma,

senior officers like us,

definitely, we'll stand out to protect Dasheng.

Yes, Duke.

Vice Minister of War.

Yes, sir.

In your official document,

it's said that you need to go to the frontline to review food stocks.

Yes.

How dare you!

In order to protect Dasheng,

His Majesty is in the frontline himself,

to fight for our land.

But at this moment,

how dare you require that?

But His Majesty is on the frontline,

I dare not to bother with small matters.

What?

Even if everything goes well in the frontline,

but His Majesty hasn't come back.

I don't know what your plan is.

I think

you should reflect on yourself.

Leave your office, live as an ordinary citizen now.

Duke, Duke, please forgive me.

Duke.

It's an important position.

Very necessary.

Vice Minister of War is a senior position.

How could you make a decision so easily?

Well.

Then remove from the court first.

Then Wang Hong...

Wang Honghu, take over him for now.

Jinming.

Your decision is too reckless, right?

Too reckless?

Prime Doctor knows our constitution well.

Do I have the right to appoint and dismiss officials?

Duke.

His Majesty is in the frontline, someone should take over responsibility.

When governing the country,

you can decide as His Majesty.

You are allowed to do it.

So you have the right.

However...

Stop saying however.

Prime Doctor. Thank you.

The way Jinmin solves a problem

is the same with Xu Yu.

But to deal with these stubborn old men,

they helped a lot.

You know,

I am designated to serve as a regent.

We will decide

who will be Vice Minister of War

when His Majesty comes back.

Drop the act... If you truly want to play at the front line.

If you want to fight,

I will support you with the best weapons

to fight against the enemy.

Yes. My Lord.

One more thing.

Recently,

I'm not feeling myself.

And I received many reports at year-end.

I have to read through the reports at my palace.

The meeting will be suspended this month.

Everyone,

go home and reunite your families

during the Spring Festival.

Thanks, my Lord.

M-My Lord.

Queen Mother is about to arrive.

What?

Your Queen Mother. The Lady is almost here.

What? She comes so early.

Hurry up.

Take off my clothes.

Hurry. Wrap up everything.

Hurry.

Spray the alcohol on my hands.

The alcohol. Spray it.

Now.

D-Does it look like sweat?

It looks so.

My baby son.

My dear baby son.

How could you get sick?

Jinming.

How did you get sick?

You sweat out.

Mother. Why are you here?

How--

- My head is aching. - Wudu.

Did you inform the doctor?

I-I did.

Did you?

The doctor checked my condition,

and told me to stop working too hard

and to take a break.

Of course.

Now you are sick,

you should have a good rest.

Listen,

don't mind any business now.

I've announced to take a break.

My boy,

I'm relieved to know

you can take care of yourself.

Don't follow your brother.

He doesn't know to take care of himself.

He focuses on national business every day.

I should learn from him.

At this moment,

Emperor is in the North.

I don't know how he is now.

He's been there for a long time.

But he hasn't written me a letter.

I am so worried about him.

You pretend to be sick.

If mother knows it,

she will come and see you.

At that time,

give this letter to her.

Though I'm not here,

no one will come to disturb you.

I remember it.

What is it?

Do you have to get up?

Mother.

Brother did send you a letter.

I'm not feeling well recently,

so I forgot about it.

How could you

forget something so important?

Don't you know I've been waiting

for this letter so badly?

Mother, what did brother say?

Your brother won't come back

in the near future.

He said

he's having nightmares recently.

He can't sleep well.

But an alchemist told him

his wife should stay in the place

nor can she get out.

She should pray for him.

So he can recover from it.

I think it will work.

Maid Hong, relay my order.

Ask Empress to stay at her place.

And don't let her get out

to pray to the Emperor.

No one is allowed to visit her.

Yes.

Mother.

My baby.

But why did I smell the alcohol?

I-It may be

the medicinal liquor

because of my headache.

Headache?

Medicinal liquor?

That's right. Headache.

It's hard to cure it.

Well, lie down. Slowly.

Yes.

Lie down.

Have a good rest.

Be a good boy.

[Fengyi Palace]

I heard Her Highness is here,

so I came for a talk.

Her Highness is praying for Emperor.

Do you want to join her?

I think I'd better leave now.

I can't disturb her.

Thank you for coming.

Where is Baodao?

What do you want to eat today? My Lady?

What will Baodao cook today?

I'll eat whatever she cooks.

I will ask her to cook.

Then send dishes to your palace later.

Sure. That's great.

Please wait for it...

I'll wait at my palace.

Duke. Lord Sun is coming.

My honor to meet you.

Lord Xiao.

My respect to Duke and Lord Xiao.

I believe

Zhenbei Marquis

has told you what you should do.

Don't waste your time here.

Go to the North.

Yes. Duke.

I will do everything I can.

Leave.

Father.

Why do you ask him to go to the North?

Emperor was injured seriously.

He may never come back.

Father, is it real?

So that's why I sent him to confirm it.

But why didn't you

talk about it in the court meeting?

Jinmin is not capable or reliable.

He doesn't hold the meeting now.

I don't even have a chance to discuss it.

Yes. We don't know if the information is true or not.

It's better to confirm it first.

If he's injured badly,

we should have received the report.

That might not be the case.

[Xunfang Brothel]

I didn't expect Mudan knows

how to play my music, Phoenix on Sycamore Tree.

Phoenix on Sycamore Tree?

I don't know it.

Maybe... Minds think alike.

Music connects our spirits.

It is not our minds alike.

Information is alike.

Why did you

visit Hengshan Mansion

to meet my father?

Like the old days.

For the business.

Three years passed.

Now you've become the courtesan,

and the most famous informant in Dasheng.

What if I say...

I happened to

be an informant

because I once intended to find you.

Do you believe it?

Emperor was injured seriously in the North.

Is it true?

Isn't it what you want?

How dare you make a guess

at the working of my mind?

Of course, I dare not.

Do you know any details about his injury?

I don't know the detail.

No one says anything about it in the military camp.

Everyone is reticent.

If that's all you want to know,

I have to leave for the performance.

I know her temperament.

If she knows, she will try her best

to see him immediately.

How is his pulse?

General.

His Majesty is still weak now.

The hidden weapon shoot through his heart and lung.
