[Episode 08]

Big brother.

Big brother.

Big news!

Yu is pregnant.

Pregnant?

It is not confirmed yet.

Keep it a secret.

Come on.

Come over here.

No matter it is a boy or a girl,

he must learn Kung Fu with me from childhood.

He will definitely be the best in the world.

As the Empress,

in the future,

if I have a son,

he will probably become the crown prince.

There will be no time for him to learn Kung Fu.

It is not true.

Just look at His Majesty.

He is bullied by those old ministers

just because he doesn't know Kung Fu.

Yu, don't overthink.

His Majesty doesn't like you after all.

Jun,

how can you say so to our sister?

His Majesty doesn't like her?

He just ignores

our little sister!

Both of you know that he doesn't like me?

Though we‘ve been fighting outside for years,

we heard lots of rumors

of the inner courtyard.

Now Xu's family maintains a high profile,

gaining power in court and favor in the harem.

There will naturally be lots of rumors

that reach His Majesty.

His Majesty probably...

It's better not to crown the prince,

as long as you are safe and sound.

Right, as long as you are safe.

Young Master, the meal is ready.

Omelet chicken slices.

She doesn't seem to be pregnant.

Feeling closely her aura,

she is just like a man.

Could it be a transfiguration?

Who is this Empress?

Where is the real Empress?

I will just wait and see.

Your Highness.

Your Highness.

I have something important to report.

Baodao, go back.

As you say, Your Highness.

Jiang Tang, what are you doing?

You are not pregnant.

What's more.

You are not Her Highness.

Jiang Tang, are you kidding?

I advise you

to think clearly before you speak.

If you tell a lie,

I can immediately know it

through your pulse.

I can even break your pulse at any time.

Who are you?

Jiang Tang,

I just changed my body.

You can't recognize me?

It is not a good place

to have a talk.

Set me free.

Yes.

[Herb Pavilion]

I could not imagine it.

There is such a strange thing in the world.

If Diviner can solve the mystery,

I can change this body of mine

with insufficient innate vitality.

It seems to be possible.

Jiang Tang,

I need you to do something for me.

As you say, Your Majesty.

Thank you.

His Majesty's body is too weak.

It would be good to exercise more often.

Who is weak?

Your Majesty.

Why are you back?

Where is my big brother?

I know it.

You learned this from Biao.

Your big brother is alright.

As long as Senior Doctor Jiang is there,

as long as he is alive,

we can save him.

Thank you, Your Majesty.

General Piaoqi guarded the border pass,

resisted foreign enemies and got wounded.

I sent Jiang to cure him.

It is appropriate.

By the way,

Did Biao be rude to you?

He is fond of making jokes.

Why didn't you remind me earlier?

What happened?

He made a quite big joke.

He almost

bled me.

Oh my god.

What a shame on me!

Your Majesty,

that is not what I mean.

We are brother and sister.

We are used to fighting with each other.

There is no bad intention.

Do you think I'm stupid?

Of course I know it was a joke.

However,

I told them

that I'm pregnant and can't fight.

If you see them,

don't give yourself away.

What?

How could you tell them such a thing?

What should I do in the future?

It will be the autumn hunt in a few days.

Yunyang Earl will be there.

Mind yourself.

Autumn hunt?

So I can ride and shoot!

Your Majesty,

I'm going to ride your horse.

How silly!

Your brother is counting on you to protect me.

This time,

it's my turn to protect you.

During this autumn hunt,

all nobles will be there.

How beautiful our Lady is!

The Empress will not be as shining as you.

Of course.

I asked a top craftsman

to make it in three months.

It took ten rolls of gold threads and 108 beads.

Only this kind of cloth

is worthy of

the beauty of Your Ladyship.

In previous years, His Majesty

didn't pay much attention to the autumn hunt.

Lately, I heard that

he is practicing hard Kung Fu and shooting.

He even won Hengshan Duke

by archery.

It seems that His Majesty

attaches great importance to this autumn hunt.

This is a good chance to please His Majesty.

His Majesty practices Kung Fu?

Is it because of Kung Fu

that Her Highness

has recently gained grace?

Lady,

what about learning Kung Fu?

I won't.

No matter how well she practices Kung Fu,

she is just a woman.

Becoming such a brutal woman

will only embarrass His Majesty.

Your Majesty.

Your Majesty.

For the autumn hunt,

which lady do you want to take?

I will make some preparations in advance.

These concubines

are too weak.

What is the use of bringing them?

In my opinion,

let's take Her Highness only.

Do you want General Xu Jun to accompany you?

Well...

General Xu is not recovered yet.

I don't think it is necessary.

Copy that.

I will go for some preparations.

Have you seen Wudu?

How is it going?

Say something!

Wudu said

that His Majesty told him

to take the Empress only to the hunt.

Her Highness only?

Your Ladyship,

I'm afraid that His Majesty is obsessed.

Don't be tolerant of Her Highness anymore,

otherwise the entire courtyard

will become a cold palace.

I...

Lady Pei.

Don't be angry, Lady Pei.

It is better not to go to the hunt.

Think about it. His Majesty and Her Highness

both go to the hunt.

Then the entire courtyard

will be here for us to enjoy ourselves.

In my opinion,

we should make use of this opportunity

to eat crabs and drink wine

in the courtyard.

The crab in the one hand,

the wine glass in the other.

You can admire chrysanthemums nearby,

and enjoy the starry sky afar.

Isn't it beautiful?

Let's invite Ms. Qin

and the Queen Mother.

Reciting poems, playing drinking games,

and playing card games.

Isn't it even better?

Your Ladyship,

do you think it's a good idea?

Good.

What a good idea!

Why don't you have any sense of danger?

I have my feet on me.

If I want to go,

nobody can stop me.

Now the court is benevolent and righteous.

Everyone is under its care.

With refreshing air and beautiful mountains around,

His Majesty is spending leisure time

to hunt here.

Hunting follows the rules of nature.

Going far away and showing strength.

Shooting beats and testing skills.

Rectifying the military and boosting morale.

It is for the great inheritance.

Being...

His Majesty to shoot the deer.

virtuous...

To begin the autumn hunt,

Your Majesty must shoot a male deer.

It is tied.

What is the meaning?

Wudu,

stop His Majesty.

Don't let him do stupid things.

Her Highness, don't worry.

I have witnessed

the progress of His Majesty's shooting skills.

Loose the deer.

His Majesty

is biting off more than he can chew.

Third Uncle, please evaluate

my brother's shooting skills.

Is there any progress?

With wisdom and power,

His Majesty will surely hit it all.

With wisdom and power,

His Majesty will surely hit it all.

What a girl from a martial family,

the Empress of Dasheng.

Everyone, attention!

This autumn hunt is of great significance.

General Xu defeated Zamsi

on the battlefield in the north,

exalting the prestige of Dasheng.

Congratulations to General Xu and Dasheng.

Congratulations to General Xu and Dasheng.

You united as one

donating money and materials.

You made a great contribution

to the battle in the northern frontier.

Although

the process is tortuous.

Meanwhile,

I realized a problem.

You all stay in the palace

reading for a long time

and not walking at all.

Some take sedan chairs

and some take carriages.

There's no time

for any exercise.

Without a strong body,

how can you contribute to Dasheng?

So this autumn hunt

is very important.

You must place a high value on it.

Your Majesty...

Your Majesty is wise.

is wise.

It is time to begin.

The opening is a bit too much.

Is it?

OK.

The autumn hunt begins!

Your Majesty.

I have lots of work to do.

Please permit me to retreat.

It is the autumn hunt.

Why not accompany me to take a ride?

I am worried about lots of work.

Please let me go back to deal with them.

Lots of work?

Right.

Just go back.

Forgive my retreat.

Your Majesty, I am not good at this.

I know it.

He is not good at it,

so practice more.

Am I right, Empress?

Behave yourself.

Sometimes,

hiding but not revealing is a wise move.

What if someone sees you through?

No need to fear.

Your Majesty has excellent talent,

and practices hard.

Within a few days

he has achieved today's results.

Who dares to doubt it?

What's more,

I‘m setting up your tall and mighty image

in front of all the courtiers.

You should be grateful.

What you said makes sense.

I am truly talented.

However,

It is better to be careful.

Alright, Your Majesty.

Let's go for a ride.

I am in a woman's body.

How can I ride and shoot?

So what?

I am also a woman.

Let's go.

Brother, go.

Let's hunt pheasants.

Pheasants?

Yes.

Let's hunt them.

Go.

Two sillies.

Lady Pei, the crab is delicious.

I would prefer venison.

Is there venison?

Third Uncle, don't shoot!

Don't shoot!

Why are you here?

My brother pushed me here.

Your Majesty.

Don't be angry, Third Uncle.

If it does not work,

I will compensate you for a deer.

The rabbit is so cute.

Why don't we bring it back

to raise in the yard?

As Your Majesty is so fond of it,

of course I should satisfy you.

Thank you, Third Uncle.

Come to see it when you are free.

See you later.

Brother, give me a deer.

Look at you.

You hunted so much prey today.

You have all the attention.

Leave something to me.

I won it by my strength.

Look at them.

They do not respect the old and care about the young,

and are so easy to get carried away.

I am afraid that they have forgotten

how you spared no effort

to help them stabilize Dasheng.

Duke is as heroic as ever.

I really admire you.

His Majesty is becoming more and more

accustomed to the ruler of Dasheng.

How was he before?

He used to be a man of letters.

Now he knows both letters and Kung Fu.

Man of extraordinary character.

Solemn and powerful.

What

did I

say about His Majesty?

Your Highness, why bother asking me about this?

In your eyes,

His Majesty is perfect.

Your Highness.

What is Yunyang Earl doing?

How mysterious he is!

I am afraid that

Hengshan Duke and he

will do harm to His Majesty.

Make sure to protect His Majesty.

Your Majesty's shooting skills are excellent,

and shoots with great precision.

Here's to Your Majesty.

Here's to Your Majesty.

I am very happy today.

Let's drink!

Cheers! Cheers!

Cheers!

That is enough.

Don't stop me.

What a good chance

to have a relax.

Can't you just let me enjoy myself?

You are showing off like this.

What should I do

after swapping our bodies back?

Let's not swap bodies back then.

Don't you think

we form a good pair now?

I make efforts outside,

making decisions and taking revenge.

You make efforts inside,

maintaining a good relationship with Queen Mother.

What's more,

take good care of your girlfriends.

Impossible.

By the way,

let me show you one thing.

So cute!

Look at it! Isn't it cute?

It is so white!

This...

This is a rabbit?

Of course I know it is a rabbit.

I mean

it seems delicious.

What are you thinking about, Your Majesty?

It is here to please me.

I mean

let's raise it together.

What are you thinking about?

What a shame

that you're carrying a rabbit.

Give it to me!

What are you doing!

Give it back to me.

Your Majesty.

Believe it or not.

I will cry to you

in front of all the soldiers.

Believe it or not,

I will swallow the rabbit in front of you.

How dare he assassinate me

with such an inferior skill?

I heard that Your Highness is good at Kung Fu.

I have witnessed it today.

It is absolutely true.

Your Highness.

Baojian.

Your Ma...

Your Highness, are you OK?

I am OK.

It is not simple.

Keep it a secret yet.

Luckily you had made arrangements.

You arranged for us to sleep separately.

Did you expect something to happen at night?

You are the daughter of a military general.

It is hard to lure the assassins if we stay together.

Although I sent Jiang Tang to protect you secretly,

take care of yourself.

Be sure to sleep lightly.

OK.

By the way, take care of yourself.

Although this can not be known by others.

Make sure that Baojian is always there with you.

OK.

What shall we do next?

The assassin entered the main room.

How did you carry out your duty

as the governor of Jingji?

I would die for my sins.

I will immediately take men

to track down the assassin.

I just taught you yesterday

how to line up troops.

You did not listen to me.

Before dawn,

bring me that assassin on the run.

I want him alive.

You guys go there.

Roger.

You guys there.

Roger.

And you guys

come with me.

We agreed that

if the action fails,

they will wait right here to be caught.

He probably regretted it and ran away.

If the assassin is not arrested,

you...

Follow me.

Your Majesty,

Sorry, I failed to catch the assassin.

Good, very good.

Yunyang Earl

is responsible for the security of the autumn hunt.

It happened that someone assassinated me.

Until now,

you can't even find the assassin.

Go! On your knees!

Who sent you here?

It was Xu Ding.

Xu what?

Your Majesty,

the assassin said it was Xu Ding.

Your Majesty.

It concerns your safety.

Please allow my speculation.

The person who is able to assassinate you

can only be General Xu Ding.

You mean that

the assassin was sent by my family?

My family?

Your Highness, you got me wrong.

That is only my speculation.

Speculation?

It concerns important ministers in the court,

how could you speculate deliberately?

You have to make it clear here today.

Roger, Your Majesty.

Yunyang Earl,

do you know this man?

Of course, he is the assassin.

And?

I don't know.

You don't know?

Let me tell you then.

This man entered my room last night

intending to kill me.

He did not know that

I was better than him.

I caught him right away.

I caught him with my own hands.

I...

I was ordered by His Majesty

to catch the assassin all night.

I did not realize that

he had been caught

by Her Highness.

You...

You should have...

told me.

How dare you!

As the governor of Jingji,

the person in charge of the security guards,

you let an assassin

enter the main room of His Majesty and me so easily.

It is your first sin.

Without any investigation,

you slandered another minister arrogantly.

It is your second sin.

You did not perform your duty well

and accused me.

It is your third sin.

Three sins together,

Yunyang Earl, think about it.

How should we deal with you?

When did my sister become so bold?

Your Highness,

you are slandering a court official.

Your Majesty,

my loyalty is witnessed by god.

Do not just listen to the words of Her Highness.

Words of Her Highness?

Your Majesty.

I originally arranged for Her Highness

to rest together with you in your room.

If Xu Ding had not plotted

to assassin you together with Her Highness,

why did you separate from each other?

He feared harming his sister.

And him, Xu Biao.

He took the assassin here.

Don't forget that his first name is Xu as well.

How dare you, Yunyang Earl!

How dare you speak ill of us!

How ignorant!

It is a frame-up!

Guards!

Take Yunyang Earl away.

Your Majesty.

I am wronged, Your Majesty!

Shut up!

Your Majesty!

Your Majesty.

Do you believe in Yunyang Earl's words?

Last time I went to see your brother Jun,

he reminded me that

there's something suspicious with Yunyang Earl.

About this,

let your brother investigate.

It is not good.

Everyone knows that

Yunyang Earl and my brother are at odds.

It will get us talked about.

I did not expect that

you are quite thoughtful.

Brother,

I want to go fishing.

Your Majesty,

let Jinming investigate it.

What?

He seems not to be very clever.

Are you sure?

Do not worry.

Jinming will not let us down.

What are you talking about?

This is what happened.

I will leave it to you from now on.

No, I do not want it.

You promised me to live a carefree life.

I do not want to work.

Alright,

if you do not want it,

I will send you to Zhaixing Pavilion

to pray with Diviner for one month.

One month?

[Announcement]

The Empress helped defeat the assassins.

But I heard that His Majesty is weak.

Didn't you hear of another rumor?

Tell me then.

I heard

that Her Highness is very good at Kung Fu.

It is not even a problem for her

to lead troops to fight.

Mother,

brother sent me to investigate

the case of the assassin in the autumn hunt.

Really?

Your brother values you.

Do not let him down.

Do it well.

Got it?

OK.

Excuse me for my leaving.

What a grievance for His Majesty.

When will such embattled days

come to an end?

Jinming is still a kid.

Leaving such an important case to him.

Your Majesty, are you sure it is proper?

That is because you do not know him.

Yunyang Earl

was deliberately framing our family.

It is related

to the reputation of Xu's family.

I can't help feeling worried.

Jinming's cleverness

is not inferior to mine.

Do not worry.

It is not inferior to you.

So is it much?

You denigrate me.

Do you believe that I will dislodge you?

Just try it.

Let's see

if your words count

or my words count.

The North Falling Star is fainting.

The Five Stars are offended,

and Mars especially.

Our army is in danger.

Now that Duke is here,

why not come in to have a cup of tea?

His Majesty sent me an errand

to investigate the case.

I just passed by.

Lord Xiaoyao has always been free.

Why would you

do such drudgery as investigating a case?

What a pity!

I refused over and over again,

but His Majesty would not listen.

It's OK if you do not want to do it.

I can talk to His Majesty.

Really?

How embarrassing to bother you.

Not at all.

Coincidently, my deduction

requires some human blood of the same root.

The order is inviolable.

I still need to investigate the case.

Diviner, pardon my disturbing.
