[The Trust]

[Episode 07]

I won't read that.

I won't.

You have to go through it anyway.

Why do you have to ask me to read it?

I'm exhausted.

I want you to get familiar with government affairs.

So you won't blabber out a decree

and make troubles.

How about I attend

the morning audience once a month?

Then I won't live with anxiety.

There will be no more complaints.

The flowers in the back garden

bloom so well.

What does it have to do with me?

All right.

Wudu.

Go to the back garden.

Greetings to Your Majesty.

Your Highness.

You may rise.

Thanks, Your Majesty.

What's wrong with you?

Do you have an upset stomach?

Ms. Li, Ms. Li.

Your Highness.

Why did you push me?

Push you?

I didn't push you.

Your Majesty.

Uphold justice for me, please.

Your Majesty.

You're fine.

Then today...

Your Majesty, my stomach hurts.

My child.

Your Majesty.

Child.

Call the doctor.

Call the doctor, now!

What are you talking about?

Xu Yu is so vicious.

She even tried to kill the heir?

Go to Yueyang Palace.

My child.

Don't be sad.

Can you just sit down?

Queen Mother arrives.

Mother.

What happened to the child?

Mother.

I finally got an heir.

Can't you keep a low profile for a day?

You killed an heir.

How should you be punished?

Exterminating your family?

Don't be sad.

Mother.

Mother.

How's she?

I'm going in.

You stay here.

Don't let anyone else leave.

I'll be with you.

Okay.

Don't cry.

Don't cry.

Mother, it's my fault.

I don't know

how did I upset Her Highness

and implicate my innocent child.

Mother.

Can you back me up?

Don't worry.

I will give justice to you.

Doctor Hu.

What's going on here?

Your Majesty, Queen Mother.

Forgive my incompetence.

The heir had gone.

I didn't expect it to be so serious.

Ms. Li is pregnant.

Now her child is gone.

Wudu.

Yes.

Go and find Senior Doctor Jiang.

If asking for Jiang,

His Majesty has to give the order.

Just go.

Yes.

Greetings, Lady Pei.

Steward Wudu.

How about Ms. Li?

You can tell at a glance.

I'm in a hurry to find Senior Doctor Jiang.

I have to see what happened.

Look at it.

It's what you did.

Ms. Li.

Are you alright?

Greetings to Queen Mother.

I-Is this the little prince?

How dare you?

It's not messy enough here, right?

How can you come and make more trouble?

Your Majesty.

Don't let the Emperor get the bad luck.

Maid Bai.

Take it out.

Yes.

Hold on.

Don't move.

How dare you?

How dare you take such liberties?

Now you even disobey my order?

♫ Although my destiny is made by Heaven ♫

♫ Fortunately this life change occurred to me ♫

♫ The meteor made our souls overlap ♫

♫ So the knots in our hearts can be untied ♫

Your Majesty. ♫ So the knots in our hearts can be untied ♫

Your Majesty.

How dare you stop me?

Mother.

I think it's better to punish her

after everything is clear.

Mother.

It's an emergency.

The decision should be made after investigation.

We can wait for Senior Doctor Jiang.

Your Majesty, Senior Doctor Jiang is here.

Please come in.

Yes.

I'm Jiang Tang.

Greetings to Your Majesty, Queen Mother.

Senior Doctor Jiang,

there's no need for that here.

Take her pulse now.

I was flustered.

I forget

Jiang was entrusted by the former Emperor

and only complies with the Emperor.

Emperor, why don't you ask Jiang

to take Ms. Li's pulse now?

Senior Doctor Jiang,

take her pulse now.

Yes, Your Majesty.

How's that?

Could I look at decoction dregs

prescribed by Doctor Hu?

I'm afraid they've been thrown away.

Take him in.

I have one thing to ask.

I wonder if I should ask it.

Ask.

Doctor Hu.

Why are there Semen Strychni

and Wild Silkworm Cream in decoction dregs?

They're for abortion.

I-I don't know.

Where's the prescription?

W-What prescription?

Doctor Hu.

Deceiving the Emperor is a clan extermination guilty.

After checking with Medical Supervisor,

we can know it all.

You'd better think it over

and give us a good answer.

[Semen Strychni, Wild Silkworm Cream]

Guards.

Put all servants in Yueyang Palace into prison

and interrogate them.

Please spare me, Your Highness.

Hurry up.

Please spare me, Your Highness.

Your Highness.

Your Majesty.

Please spare me.

Spare me, please.

Ms. Li.

explain the prescription now.

Tell me.

Queen Mother.

There must be someone

that wanted to frame me up, Queen Mother.

I don't know if there's someone

that wanted to frame her up.

What I know is

the baby has been dead for days.

What?

Ms. Li's baby

has been dead for days.

Mother.

How did this happen?

It has been stillborn for many days.

This decoction has abortion herbs.

What happened today

is clearly a trap.

Wudu.

Yes.

Put Doctor Hu into the Supreme Court.

Interrogate him.

Seal here up.

No one should get in or out

before the truth is out.

Yes.

Xinzhu.

I told you I'm pregnant from the start.

Xinzhu.

I don't know if he's dead for days.

Xinzhu, please help me.

Xinzhu.

Vile you.

So malicious.

You killed the heir

and framed Her Highness up.

I won't be forgiven

if I forgive you.

Queen Mother, Queen Mother.

Your Majesty, Your Majesty.

Your Majesty.

Your Majesty can't be so mean to me.

Your Majesty.

Your Majesty.

Empress.

I misunderstood you

and you suffered wrong.

I promise

I will give you justice.

Thanks, Mother.

Emperor.

You will have another heir.

Take good care of yourself.

I'm so sorry.

Aunt.

I'll walk you back.

My dear.

You suffered wrong this time.

I promise

I will give you justice.

You're such a niggard.

Don't you know I'm comforting you?

Who's a niggard? You're.

You don't have to repeat it to me.

Mother didn't mean to

embarrass you deliberately.

You'd better know it.

In the past,

I misunderstood you a lot.

I know it now.

Sorry.

You suffered a lot.

Luckily, it's not too late.

Your Majesty.

Doctor Hu confessed.

I won't look at it.

Just tell me.

Doctor Hu took bribes from Ms. Li.

Go to Ci'an Palace.

Yes.

Please have tea.

It's Red Valley Green Cloud Tea

served by Zhaonan State.

Mother told us

to use melted snow from plum last year

to make tea for Your Highness.

I heard this herb

grows on tea trees for a millennium

in Deep Valley in Zhaonan State.

It's rare and difficult to pick.

Only half a kilo can be produced per year.

I'm so lucky today.

I've told them

to punish servants in Yueyang Palace.

I just didn't expect

the concubines are so chaotic.

I make bold to interrupt.

It's time for Mother

to take good care of yourself.

The concubines

should be ordered by Her Highness.

Why should you worry more about it

and get involved?

Maid Hong is right.

I neglected the management

and got Mother involved.

But

I have one thing to ask.

Just ask.

Ms. Li is of a low rank.

Why did she frame me up?

She can get nothing from it.

You're smart now.

If you want to know the reason,

just go and ask Ms. Li.

Yes, Mother.

His Majesty arrives.

Empress, you're dismissed now.

I have to talk with the Emperor.

I'll leave.

Greetings, Your Majesty.

Greetings, Mother.

What happened to Ms. Li

has nothing to do with the Empress.

But I think

you're spoiling the Empress a lot recently.

Or you have something

hiding from me?

Mother.

She's my wife.

It's reasonable

if I'm nice to her.

Yes.

But don't forget Xu Ding

and Hengshan Duke Xiao Qi

are key officials in the past dynasty.

They're not easy to control.

Though you got support from your uncle,

you have to keep in mind

the balance of power.

I know it.

That's why Mother was partial to Lady Pei

and against me.

If you love the Empress,

have a baby with her.

In this court,

the one gives birth to a prince,

the Empress or any concubine,

will help Xiao Qi devolve power.

You should take a long-term view of Xu Ding.

I know, Mother.

I hope you can understand

my heart and efforts.

[Residence of Hengshan Duke]

Hurry up.

Duke.

Duke.

The Emperor is investigating

how Ms. Li aborted.

Shall we--

Just let him investigate.

It's your turn.

The Emperor has been very sharp-edged recently.

On the court,

he openly contradicted you.

Did he take the side of Xu Ding?

I heard the Empress

monopolizes the favor of the Emperor.

Monopolize?

I thought he was docile

so I agreed to make him the Emperor.

If he dares to think of violating me,

he shall never blame my mercilessness.

Checkmate.

Wonderful, Duke.

It's brilliant.

Duke.

You're so wise.

Of course.

Listen.

Xu Jun, the eldest son of the Xu, is coming.

You didn't show anything, did you?

Of course, I didn't.

Good.

Heaven and Earth translocated.

A sign of prospering.

Did I deduce it wrong?

Duke peeking here

will make a wrong deduction.

Oh, you found me.

I'm not coming to watch your deduction.

I come here to give you the wine and thank you.

Wait.

The deduction will be more accurate

with the blood of a sibling as an added ingredient.

Duke.

Please come here.

Please sit down.

It's my last bottle of

Apricot Flower Spring Dew.

I even begrudge drinking it.

It hurts!

Let me go.

You can drink.

But before drinking,

you have given me your blood.

Or it'll be useless.

Let me go.

Xu Youran!

You will be rewarded for a drop of blood.

It's time to say...

It's time to say someone...

It's time to say someone framed up...

It's time to say someone framed the Xu up.

What?

I went to Xunfang Brothel that day--

I didn't blame you for that.

You cannot go there anymore.

You're a man now,

but you use my body.

I don't want to talk about these love affairs.

What I want to tell you is

my brother was framed up

that he secretly talked about politics.

He's prudent.

In the ordinary course,

he won't be so ostentatious.

But you can hear about it.

It might be something in it.

It's Mudan.

You know her.

She's lobbying me,

not me, you,

us, lobbying us.

My brother's on the battlefield.

Definitely, she wants to frame him up.

Who's to say what's true?

True or false is not the matter now.

Gossip kills.

Brother.

Brother, brother.

Taipu bullies me.

Say something. Your brother.

I have no humiliating brother.

How did he bully you?

He pricked me.

W-Where did he prick you?

Your Majesty.

Your Majesty. Here comes an urgent letter.

Open it.

Brother.

B-Brother?

Jinming, go back now.

I have something important

to talk with your brother.

Brother, sister,

I'm leaving now.

What happened?

You're flustered.

There's a victory at the front line,

but my brother was injured.

He'll be back tomorrow.

It's on the battle report presented earlier.

I especially approved of him returning and recuperating.

You know it now?

That's because you didn't read the documents carefully.

He won't leave the front line with minor wounds,

but he wants to return now.

He must have been seriously injured.

Emperor,

go and check he's okay for me, shall you?

Why don't you go?

It's not appropriate.

I'm the Emperor now.

If I go there,

they'll say I take the chance

to uphold the Xu.

You silly girl.

Now you know to think for me.

Sure. I'll go for you.

Listen.

Take Baodao with you.

He loves her cooking.

I'll take Senior Doctor Jiang

and treat him.

Xu Yu is still emotional.

She didn't forget the food in this case.

The Emperor takes a tense situation calmly.

What brother needs most

is the superb doctor, of course.

Miss...

Y-Your Highness.

Lead me to brother.

Yes.

This way, please.

B-Brother.

Your Highness.

There's no need for that.

The etiquette shouldn't be neglected.

This is Senior Doctor Jiang,

The Emperor specially asked him

to treat you.

Baodao is here too.

She knows you like sliced chicken

she cooked most,

so she cried to ask for coming here.

Young Master,

B-Baodao will cook for you.

You didn't change at all.

I've been looking forward to meeting you.

Senior Doctor Jiang.

Take the pulse for him.

Yes.

I've known his injury by looking and hearing.

I ask for leave.

I need to use the kitchens

and grind herbs for General.

Thanks a lot.

The servant at the door will lead the way.

Sis.

Come.

B-Brother.

The battlefield report is obscure.

Why were you injured so badly?

Silly girl.

I'm okay.

Don't worry about me.

That will be fine.

How's father?

He's still the same.

Fighting hard against Zamsi.

Sis,

are you okay now?

Are you depressed?

Look.

What's this?

It's common in the desert

but rare here.

I bring it to you.

You know what?

We didn't meet a lot.

I have to tell you now.

Yunyang Earl may do something wrong recently.

Is there any omen?

I just notice

he has mysterious movements.

His personal bodyguard

showed up in the North.

Temporarily I don't know what he wants.

I worry that he and Hengshan Duke

may hurt the Emperor.

You must take care of him.

Yu, you're coming.

Let me look at you.

I miss you so much.

Go and compete with me.

To practice with you?

I can't do that.

Let's go. Go.

I don't know martial arts.

Come on, sis.

Fight against me.

Come on.

Brother.

I can practice with you someday.

Some day is never.

I practiced with followers hard.

I want to go to the battlefield

like father as soon as possible.

Are you ready?

Yes, you're ready.

All over.

I won't come if I knew it.

What can I do?

I'm a target now.

No.

No.

Sorry for waiting for me.

Don't be too polite to me.

This arrow wound was made by caterans

when you are 16, right?

Yes.

How do you know that?

That day, a young herb collector

met with the caterans

and saved by you.

An arrow was shot in your chest.

No wonder I found you're familiar

when I first saw you.

Thank you so much.

I will never forget it.

You overstated the case.

On that day, if without your herbs,

I would have died because of the arrow wound.

This wound was made by a heavy blade.

It's not from a nobody.

Good eye.

It's by Zamsi.

I will kill him

one day I go back to--

Don't move.

It's already a miracle

for you to talk with me.

This wound seems not serious,

but it's very a strong wound deep in bones.

It's a huge danger to you if it's neglected.

Thank you in advance.

AHHH--

You're so weak.

You're the Empress and practice less.

I-I don't feel very good today.

I can't use force.

What's up?

What? Tell me.

Anything wrong with you?

What's wrong with me?

What's wrong with me?

What can I say?

Sore waist? Aching back? Leg cramp?

Yes. Pregnant. A good excuse.

I'm pregnant.

Pregnant?
