[Maid's Revenge]

[Episode 9]

[Governor, please respect yourself]

Muti?

That's not my name.

Yuze,

I like you.

I want to marry you legally.

Never thought

everything is under your control.

Yan'er has been timid since childhood.

I know as long as I scare her,

she'll definitely run.

I was just gambling.

My evidence has been destroyed.

Even if my evidence wasn't destroyed,

she could also say

I stole the jade pendant from her.

I'm not quite sure

to prove myself.

It was her guilt that betrayed her.

Tingyao, you're a smart girl.

Thank you for asking me for help.

And thank you

for trying your best to come back to me.

[Governor's Mansion of Jiangcheng]

Grandmother.

Sorry to invite you and my uncle here so late.

Because it matters a lot.

Your Ladyship,

you must know this jade pendant.

It was a token of engagement.

Although the jade pendant is broken,

it was truly handed to me by my father

before he died.

This jade pendant

was found by me in Mr. Fang's room.

Presumably, he knows best where it came from.

If you don't believe me,

you can ask Mr. Fang

whether this jade pendant belongs to me.

Mr. Fang doesn't speak.

That means he admits it.

Young master, we caught her at the back door.

Bring her in.

Get it.

Let me go! Let me go!

Yan'er.

Where are you heading in the middle of the night?

If you are not guilty,

you don't have to run, do you?

You used to be affectionate.

But now you are so heartless.

You deserve your reputation.

Sure enough,

a useless chess piece

will be thrown away by you.

I was kind to you

just because you're my fiancée.

But for so long,

you have been deceiving the Fang family.

How could I show you mercy?

Yeah.

I'm pretending to be Miss Dong.

But I'm also a daughter of the Dong family.

Since I came here,

I have been keeping my nose clean

and serving Mrs. Fang with all due diligence.

What did I do wrong?

And her?

She knew who she is.

But she still seduced the governor.

Now all members of the family know

she climbed into your uncle's bed.

What a mean woman!

Do you still think of her as a treasure?

You shut up.

If it weren't for you,

how could I accidentally

become the governor's maid?

Why do you have the nerve to talk nonsense here?

I'm talking nonsense?

Your Ladyship,

you have seen it.

She slept in the governor's room day and night.

She even carried on with him again and again

in front of the crowd.

Isn't that true?

Your family is really great.

An uncle and his nephew

fight for one woman…

Your Ladyship,

even if Yan'er is in the wrong,

she is the only family

I ever have in this world.

Your Ladyship,

please spare her life for the sake of the Dong family.

How about allowing her to live in the west room?

Somebody! Drag her away.

Yes.

Go.

Grandmother, Tingyao…

Ms. Chen.

Here.

Clean up the east room

where Dong Yan'er lives,

so that Miss Dong can move in tonight.

Get it.

Now that Tingyao has recovered her identity,

I request you to pick an auspicious day

and make the engagement ceremony.

Besides, please announce her identity to everyone.

It's getting late.

Everybody's tired.

Talk about it later.

Tingyao, don't worry.

Now that you've recovered your identity,

our family will never treat you unfairly.

Stop drinking.

Give me the wine.

Is it worthy of tormenting yourself

for such a woman?

You've done so much for her.

She is going to marry that guy.

Give it to me.

I really can't stand it.

That day, you got the news that the Dong family was in distress.

You rushed there without a single halt.

You almost got killed by robbers on the road

and lost time as a result.

You've been hurt so much for her these days.

She's doing this to you now.

I'm going to talk to her now.

I want her to know how stupid she is.

I can't stand that

she betrayed your kindness.

Freeze!

But

are you really willing?

Governor, please respect yourself.

I am your nephew's wife

in a legal way.

You don't hesitate to do everything.

Which identity do you care more about,

Miss Dong or the young mistress?

Both.

All in all,

I'm not your maid anymore.

I forbid you to marry him.

You forbid?

Why?

All members of the family know

you're my woman.

A woman cannot marry two men.

Now that you have given yourself to me,

your engagement

naturally is over.
