[Back From The Brink]

[Adapted from the novel of the same name in jjwxc.net by Jiu Lu Fei Xiang]

[Episode 11]

Judging from the current situation,

Yongzhou is already an empty city.

(It seems that the Guanghan Sect)

(has already relocated the people in the city.)

(Suying is preparing to exterminate everyone without mercy.)

(Tianyao won't be able to hold on much longer.)

(We must think of another way)

(to help Tianyao.)

We must quickly capture the evil dragon's accomplices

to share Master Suying's burden.

Yes, Master.

Keep up!

Let's go.

Later,

do as I say.

I'll deal with Feng Ming.

I'll hold them off

so you can do what you need.

But...

You're a mortal.

How can you go against them?

This is the most powerful magical tool

of the Feng Clan.

It'll protect me.

Follow me!

Hurry, they're coming.

Remember,

you owe me a kiss.

I forbid you from dying.

Don't worry.

Qijue Agency

never owes anyone anything.

Go now.

Master, Young Master Feng is over there.

My dear nephew,

you were really hard to find.

There's no need

to come to this.

We're a family

with the same blood flowing in our bodies.

I don't want to kill you.

So long as you hand over

the evil dragon and his accomplices

to the immortals of the Guanghan Sect,

I can spare your life.

I'm not good

at betraying like you, Uncle.

Don't you fear death at all?

Fear?

Did you know the seventh Don't

of Qijue Agency

is to never retreat?

You're still alive.

Great.

You're even more ruthless

than your father.

That was rare.

It's the only compliment

you ever gave me in this lifetime.

With the Heart Protecting Scale on you,

you indeed recovered well.

But with your current state,

if you think you can stop me from taking the scale,

you can stop dreaming about it.

[Arena, Level 18]

You...

I promised to help you.

So I'll keep my word.

Where did you come from?

I've been hiding in your shadow.

How much spiritual power have you accumulated?

No matter how much I have,

I have to go for it.

You weakling.

Don't even think about hurting the one I'm protecting.

Your companions

went to the dragon horns' barrier?

Tianyao,

it's been twenty years,

and you've learned how to lie.

We can fight

and destroy Yongzhou city.

It doesn't matter to me,

but it seems it doesn't matter to you either.

Very well.

You go ahead and do what you need.

I won't let it get in your way.

Be careful.

By my knowledge,

by my breath,

by the life in my body,

I invoke the presence of the divine.

Heart Protecting Scale is not on you?

Where's the Heart Protecting Scale?

You couldn't obtain it 20 years ago.

And you still can't obtain it

twenty years later.

Tell me.

Where is the Heart Protecting Scale?

Bai Xiaosheng.

Yes, Yanhui.

Earlier, you said

you were willing

to channel spiritual power into my mind's eye.

Do you think it's possible to break it

after combining it with your spiritual power?

You can.

But my spiritual power

isn't good for you.

I'm willing to take the risk.

All right.

I would like

to apologize to everyone here.

Mr. Feng,

what are you doing?

Today, I summoned

the family's guardian

and learned the truth.

Thank you for helping me, guardian.

I'm not the family guardian,

but a familiar

who signed a pact of servitude with your father.

Years ago, I was almost killed

by Feng Ming due to an ambush.

Your parents sealed me

in a gemstone to save me,

which delayed

their chance to escape.

Your father made

a final agreement with me

to protect you in times of danger.

How could this be?

It can't be.

Now that the vengeance is cleared

and you have grown into an adult,

I can finally go and see my former master

in the afterlife.

All these years,

I was wrong

to hate the monsters.

I was narrow-minded

and offended

many of you.

Stop apologizing.

We're all comrades

who have fought together.

Don't be too uptight.

We're all friends here.

But

if you run into monsters again,

you should treat them better.

Not all monsters

are as reasonable as we are.

I will.

Where are you

planning to go?

In this vast world,

there will always be a place for us

beyond Yongzhou.

I want to go home.

I don't have a home anymore.

Why don't you come to my house?

You said so yourself.

Since you invited me,

then...

Forget I said that.

I was only teasing you.

You can't take it back.

All right, then.

We'll bid farewell here.

We'll see each other when fate brings us together.

Thank you for taking care of us, miss.

We'll be taking our leave now.

Suying! What happened to him?

The evil dragon and his accomplices

used Mr. Lu as a tool to threaten the Leader.

What?

Didn't Suying already take precautions

and send you to protect Mr. Lu?

But Mr. Lu...

Miss,

I was sent here by Master Suying

to wait for you.

Take her.

Stop it!

You...

Let her go.

Stop it!

I can't kill you.

But I can kill myself.

Musheng!

Musheng!

(He actually betrayed Suying.)

Mr. Lu is completely

different

from the past.

Suying, you must not save him!

He betrayed you.

You still want to use the Burning Blood Technique to save him?

Don't you know

you'll hurt yourself?

Get out!
