[EPISODE 8]

Your Highness!

Your Highness!

This shot was dangerous.

Luckily the arrow wasn't poisoned,

otherwise you would be in serious danger.

I'm ok.

The prince's secret letter.

I got it.

We agreed

that each one of us should take what we need without owing anything to the other.

You didn't have to do that.

Anyway,

I'm just your pawn.

Who would care about the feelings of a pawn?

I didn't forget my promise

to help you to the throne.

Good.

It's up to you.

Your Highness, are you all right?

I'm fine.

Hurry up and read this letter.

[So... ]

[you still have a little bit of feelings for me, don't you?]

[If that's the case,]

[I won't let go of you, no matter what].

Uncle, stop going in circles!

You have been reckless

in wanting to assassinate Qun Ningyuan.

He managed to follow the trail and he found out where the letter was.

Didn't I do it for you?

Are we going to sit idly

waiting for him to overtake you?

I know you did this for my sake.

But since the imperial bridge fell into the water, my father is very suspicious.

An assassination in the palace, wasn't that a mistake?

So tell me, what should we do?

Send someone to check the news sent by the governor of Suzhou.

Don't worry about it.

For now, to secure our position in the court,

the most important thing is to marry the daughter of Premier Shangguan Miaoyi.

There is nothing else to fear.

When the imperial bridge collapsed,

the Minister of Industry, Su Guangyi, committed suicide for fear of punishment.

The Minister of Justice quickly closed the case by blaming the poor structure of the bridge.

The letter says

that Su Guangyi had a sweetheart in a pleasure house.

Her name is Qing Yu.

They both had a close relationship.

He hope that the prince will kill her to avoid any problems.

It seems that Su Guangyi's death was caused by the Eastern Palace.

This lady Qing Yu may have some clues.

I will send someone to locate her.

Your Highness, your wound is not healed.

I can go and take care of this.

I'm fine, don't worry.

I won't drag you down.

That's not what I meant.

If you're worried about me,

just stay close to me when we get there.

Our Nanfeng Hall is the best house in the capital!

Come on in! Come in and have fun!

This way young lords!

It's been a long time since you came!

Did you forget about us?

This Qing Yu....

Come and have fun!

is a man??
