Hi, my name is Enguerran Prieu. I'm the director and co-writer
of Tuyauteries inavouables.
Didier Deveney, co-writer and dialog writer on Tuyauteries inavouables.
Tuyauteries inavouables is a short film that was made over a few days
with very few resources and a wonderful crew.
We had a tons of fun on the set.
The aim was to make a parody
or an erotic or porn film from the '80s.
It's a take on the classic scene from, shall we say, hot movies,
where there was always a plumber or a cable repairman
visiting a female client, who is obviously scantily-clad.
And naturally, he's there to repair pipes
or a libido, whichever you prefer.
Hi, I'm a plumbing specialist. I'm looking for Ms. Brigitte.
I tells the story of a poor plumber
on an emergency call
to repair pipework for a certain Ms Brigitte.
The problem is that he has his client's name,
he has the name of the building, but he doesn't have the room number.
So he pretty much looks around the entire building
and knocks on every door to see if he can find her.
Of course, he doesn't find her.
And he meets all sorts of unbelievable iconoclasts.
Tuyauteries inavouables was originally made for Shot Film Corner.
We had tons of positive feedback,
so we sent it to all the festivals in France and even in Canada.
Its success encouraged us to make it into a series.
The web series will follow the exact same concept.
There will be more or less one episode per door.
We can assure you that there will be many surprises,
many plot twists, and special guests.
Nettle!
You're going to whip me with fresh nettle!
And you know what? I'll still be dry!
Alright, enough!
If you like this short,
expect the web series to be even nuttier.
It will spin out in every direction.
I invite you to join the Facebook page Tuyauteries inavouables
and to have a look at the Indiegogo campaign
that we'll be launching very soon for our web series
which will be full of surprises. I hope you enjoy it.
See you very soon. Thank you!
