Honey, Don’t Run Away 2

Episode 1

Great Ling State

is an auspicious place.

People live and work in peace.

However, there was an unusual girl

living in the capital.

She was desperate for marriage.

But whoever in marriage-track relationships with her

was struck by lighting

and died.

So she was seen as a jinx

and was called

Mother of Thunder.

Mother of Thunder, bless me.

As long as you keep seeking your husband,

I'll be able to

Good Luck Coffin Store, No.8 Branch

open my ninth branch.

Everybody, run!

Mother of Thunder Ye Xiaotang is seeking her husband here again!

The owner of a coffin store, Shopkeeper Cai

I'm coming!

Ye Xiaotang is going to do evil again!

It’s said that Master Liu in the south was killed by lightning

on the day he discussed wedlock with her.

We must be careful.

Whoever she has a crush on

will be killed by lightning.

What am I gonna do?

I’m so good-looking.

If she has a crush on me,

I’ll be in trouble.

Stop.

Ye Xiaotang, the richest woman in the capital

is seeking a husband with a big reward.

Don’t miss the chance to get rich overnight.

Any marriageable man can marry into the Ye family.

Once you receive our betrothal gifts,

you’ll be the son-in-law of Ye Mansion.

Now scatter the betrothal gifts!

No!

My lady,

the first step of our plan has been accomplished.

Ye Xiaotang’s maid, Hongxiu

Sifang Street

is in a turmoil now.

Time for you to show up.

Very good.

This time I’ll definitely marry

Mu Jinyan.

As long as I mess the city up,

Jinyan will come to find me.

Mu Jinyan’s bodyguard, Jiufang

My lord,

Miss Ye is in trouble.

A thunderbolt from the clear sky!

Everybody, listen!

Since nobody receives my betrothal gifts,

then whoever shot by my arrow of love

will be my husband.

Please don’t shoot me!

Stay away!

Lord Mu is coming!

Lord Mu! Lord Mu!

Please take Ye Xiaotang away!

Minister of Jingzhao House, Mu Jinyan

Young master,

you’re finally here.

Mother of Thunder, you jinx,

don’t imagine you can get Lord Mu!

Sisters, come together

to protect Lord Mu!

You’ve caused serious disturbances.

It’s unforgivable.

Jiufang,

confiscate all the belongings here

and take Ye Xiaotang

back to Ye Mansion.

Yes, my lord.

Welcome back, my lady.

Ling Ziran,

what the hell are you doing?

The ninth son of the emperor of Ling State, Ling Ziran

I,

Ling Ziran,

the ninth son of the emperor of Ling State,

have adored you for a long time.

I’ve been thinking about you all day long.

Today I come to propose a marriage.

These are my betrothal gifts.

Are they enough?

Since you had a new teacher,

you’ve really made some progress.

And you,

come down!

OK.

I’m still the young man that I used to be.

I haven’t changed.

Time is just a test for me.

The faith in my heart remains unchanged.

Stop!

Behave yourself.

I want to marry you.

Once I heard you were seeking a husband,

I rushed over as fast as I can.

You’re a prince.

How can you marry into my family?

I don’t care.

I’m ready.

Shoot me with your arrow of love!

Marriage is not a child’s play.

Put your clothes on.

I’m serious.

The sedan chair is ready.

Let’s enter the palace and ask for

Father’s approval for our marriage.

I’m serious as well.

Jinyan is the only one I love.

My lady,

something’s wrong!

The Mu Maison was locked.

You’re not allowed to visit Mu Maison anymore.

You should go and check it out!

What?

Take it.

Great!

The fair-faced man finally got the right idea.

Xiaotang,

nobody can stop us now!

Mu Maison

Jinyan,

ask someone to open the door.

I’d like to come in

to talk about our marriage.

Listen,

double the height of the wall

around my mansion.

Yes, my lord.

Why?

Are you mad at me again?

I like you.

I like you, Jinyan.

Don’t go away!

I say I like you!

Hey! Mu Jinyan,

I really like you.

Where are you going?

Hey!

Do you like me or not?

What do you think about it?

The top actor of Yunshan Garden, Ziyan

Ziyan.

Ziyan.

I’m not happy.

I made my husband-seeking such a big deal today,

but Jinyan still brushed me off.

Your husband-seeking event

was really a mess.

Complaints were heard everywhere.

Now that Lord Mu brushed you off,

you don’t need to

waste your time on him.

How can that be?

You know

when I saw him the first time,

I was sure

he was the one that made me flipped.

Dad, what does "flipped" mean?

Xiaotang,

when you grow up,

you’ll meet someone

that shows up in front of you

with his most precious thing.

By then,

you’ll know what "flipped" means.

♫ When I think of you ♫

♫ The sky is light and the sun shines bright ♫

Get out of the way.

♫ There was a pink tinge to the cloud ♫

♫ It tastes sweet when I take a bite ♫

♫ I want to fill every sight of you ♫

♫I want to monopolize your time ♫

♫I want to draw the line of love on your palm ♫

♫My heart lingers where the line will end ♫

♫ I love you, my sweet honey ♫

♫ It feels like a candy melt in the sunshine ♫

♫ Even in the freezing winter ♫

♫ I feel warm and cozy ♫

♫ I only need an embrace to ♫

It’s fate!

♫ crown my love ♫

You seem to be the one that makes me flipped.

♫ My hands are waiting for yours ♫

♫ It's just like a dream when in love with you ♫

This is the most precious thing of you, right?

♫ There's no loneliness or farewell anymore ♫

Once I receive your betrothal gifts,

♫ The story is not a long one ♫

you’re mine.

♫ Which takes exactly a lifetime to tell ♫

It takes you a penny

♫ I love you and from now on ♫

to be a rich man for the rest of your life.

♫ What I long for is only your company ♫

Young master,

♫ My sweet thought ♫

how lucky you are!

♫ are all seen through by you ♫

♫What should I do? ♫

My life is two-third shorter than that of normal people.

So I have to live my life

with much more happiness.

What’s more,

every girl wants to

stays with the man she loves.

I don’t care.

I want to have

a passionate relationship.

Actually,

today Lord Mu seemed to

punish you,

but in fact,

he was helping you.

Perhaps

he had some secret sorrow.

It makes sense.

I really want to know

what he thinks about me.

I’ll enter his mind

to have a look.

Zhuyou Tactic,

it’s your show time.

But my lady,

your father asked me repeatedly

when he was still alive

to stop you from

using Zhuyou Tactic.

It’ll shorten your life.

Everything’s fine.

Why are you crying?

Fine. Fine.

I promise you

this is the last time.

But my lady....

Stop that.

He’ll wake up soon.

Ding!

Put it on for me.

Behave yourself.

Xiaotang,

without Dream Making Crystal,

you’ll end up like your mother

who didn’t live to 20 years old.

Dad’s only wish is that

before you reach 20,

you can marry a husband into our family

and have a child.

Remember,

don’t use Zhuyou Tactic.

It will shorten your life.

Dad,

bless me please.

It’s the day

when I confessed to Jinyan.

Jinyan,

last time you payed this penny

for my love.

Today, can I get you

♫ I’m not talented enough ♫

♫ To be your crush ♫

with this penny?

♫ I’ve been bothering you for so long ♫

♫ Young master, please bear with me ♫

♫ You walk to the north ♫

Xiaotang,

♫ While I look to the south ♫

♫ Farewell. See you next life ♫

I’m afraid

I can’t give you the answer this life.

♫ It leaves an indelible impression ♫

♫ I wish you a warm winter ♫

Mu Jinyan.

♫ And a pretty spring as well ♫

You can’t escape from me.

I’ll marry you

♫ I wish you a happy life ♫

in front of people of the whole city.

♫ With kind people around ♫

♫ I’m not talented enough ♫

♫ To be your crush ♫

♫ I’ve been bothering you for so long ♫

Of course I have a crush on you.

♫ Young master, please bear with me ♫

So you do have some secret sorrow?

I just can’t be with you now.

Why?

Because....

The emperor

ordered Mu Jinyan to marry the princess of Yue State

on the eighth day next month.

Jinyan’s dream has changed.

Mu Jinyan

will do as Your Majesty commands.

Jinyan is about to wake up.

I have to go now.

My lady.

Are you OK?

Hongxiu,

I’m so happy.

Jinyan has a crush on me.

My lady,

is it worthy to

know he loves you

at the cost of your life?

Of course.

In his dream,

I saw the princess from Yue State

was about to marry into Great Ling State.

So what?

Nothing is more important than your life.

Jinyan will definitely

go welcome her by then.

I want to

take this opportunity to marry him.

What?

Marry him?

I need more information about

the princess from Yue State.

Gorgeous!

So splendid!

What does she look like?

Minister of Jingzhao House of Great Ling State,

Mu Jinyan,

following the emperor’s command,

is here to greet your highness.

Why are there two bridal sedans?

Yeah…are there two princesses?

Another one?

Here’s the story.

My lady,

even if you pretend to be the princess from Yue,

Lord Mu will not marry you.

Blockhead.

I just coincidentally hold a wedding ceremony on the same day

and use the same bridal sedan

and the same retinues.

It’s an abnormal coincidence.

Well…

There is no story without coincidences.

I’ll dress up like a bride

and sit in the bridal sedan.

As long as he greets my sedan,

we get married.

What’s the problem?

It’s in public.

He has no other choice but to accept it.

How can you be sure

that he will greet your sedan first

instead of hers?

It’s easy.

We’ll find a matchmaker who can speak Yue dialect

and ask her to stand in front of the sedan.

Once she says something, he’ll be attracted.

It makes sense.

What a perfect plan.

May you be prosperous.

Come here. Come here.
