Honey, Don't Run Away 2

Episode 10

Welcome.

May I ask...?

This is

Lord Mu, Prefecture Minister of Jingzhao.

We got a report that

there is something wrong here.

Now we need to conduct a thorough search.

Lord Mu,

I'm just a law-abiding citizen

and only trade to earn a living.

I don't dare do anything illegal!

Did you hurt the little girl

on the street?

Impartial Lord Mu,

I'm wronged!

A few days ago,

I bought some white flints on Sifang Street

but dropped a few at the door.

That beggar mistook it for sugar and ate it.

So, her mouth was burned,

But she seized the chance to extort my money.

I....

She affirmed that I wanted to kill her.

I felt really aggrieved!

Take me to see your lighter workshop.

My lord,

this batch of lighter

had been sold to someone yesterday,

so the workshop is empty now.

What about

coming some other day?

Tell me.

Who the hell are you?

You are not qualified to know it.

Thank you, my lord.

Thank you for saving my life.

Please stand up. Stand up.

Do you know who wanted to

kill you?

They are all paramount and powerful.

lighter workshop shopkeeper

They tried to kill me

to forcibly occupy mere dozens of white flint!

I don't dare to say the truth, Lord Mu.

Shopkeeper,

you can tell me everything.

I'll protect you.

OK.

I trust you.

Lord Mu,

Wait a minute, please.

Lord Mu,

what they want is this approval document.

Seal for Purchase

Seal for Purchase

I didn't expect it turns out to be the crown prince.

It's too early to pin down.

He was also present that day.

He would also have died if the fire

hadn't been put out in time.

How could he put himself in danger?

Breaking news!

Breaking news!

Purple radiance is shining in the Treasure Pavilion,

which makes my heart pound!

Have you seen the scene by yourself?

Of course!

His Majesty locked it in

a secret room of the Treasure Pavilion.

God helps those who help themselves.

We have searched it for a long time.

Now we finally know where it is.

It's too early to cheer.

There must be hidden mechanisms

in a secret room,

let alone

such an important treasure.

Xiaotang,

if we get

the Dream-making Crystal,

your span will be extended

as long as an average person.

Can I live in the Ye Mansion

and be your husband

at that time?

Why did you throw at me so heavily?

Are you going to assassinate me?

This is Skin Cooling Cream.

I asked someone to take back from Yue State.

Smear your scalded skin

after you go back home.

You smell like roasted meat

all day.

Really?

Why can't I smell it?

You are so strange.

Jinyan,

if we get the Dream-making Crystal,

would you like to stay with me forever?

I want to find the Crystal for you first.

I knew you would say that.

I have thought of a method.

You...!

Will it work?

We'll never know if we don't try!

Well, it's getting late.

I'm gonna go back and have a rest.

You should also go to bed early.

Xiaotang!

Fair-faced man!

You've gone too far...!

Have a look at the seal

and tell me whether it's authentic or not.

This is indeed my brother's seal.

It's an exclusive seal for the crown prince.

Tomorrow we go shall to the Palace

to meet his Majesty.

Ling Zizhao,

the human testimony and the material evidence are both here.

You have let me down!

Father, I'm wronged!

How could I

set on fire to disturb Flora Day!

I am definitely framed by someone!

Father,

This seal is mine,

but the content of

the approval document

was written by one of my staff, Wu Kaiyang.

Is it necessary for a crown prince to write

the approval document himself?

Father,

I think that my brother's words are reasonable.

Maybe someone had used

his seal secretly.

I hope that you can give my brother justice

and give him another chance.

I'm willing to search the Eastern Palace

to prove that my brother is innocent.

I'm also willing to

investigate the case in the Eastern Palace

with the crown prince.

Then, I'll give you

another chance.

But I'll punish you more severely

if you turns to be the criminal.

Thank you, Father.

You can leave now.

Your Majesty,

please don't be angry.

I don't think that the crown prince is the criminal.

I hope so.

I heard that

you turned your nose up at

all the treasures in the Treasure Pavilion.

That's nonsense!

The treasures are too various for me to pick one.

I used to be emotionless

when you said that

Great Ling is very rich,

but this time,

it really came as a surprise.

Your Majesty,

do you really want to keep these

treasures deep in the Treasure Pavilion

all the time?

What a pity!

Actually

I have a suggestion.

You can just tell me.

I won't blame you

even if you say something wrong.

Your Majesty,

I think you can hold

a grand 'Treasure Appreciating Event'

to let the officers take a view

of the treasures.

The most important thing is that

there must be a closing treasure on the event.

We can let the emissaries from Yue State

take a look

and raise our country's prestige.

That's a good idea.

I agree.

Take out that treasure, too.

Thank you, your Majesty.

I'll go back and prepare for the event.

I'll take all the treasures in my family

and give them a surprise!

Your Majesty,

that's a precious treasure.

I beg you think it twice.

Maybe

this is just a good chance

to pass it on.

It may shine brighter than that when I keep it.

Yes.

You are worthy of the Prefecture Minister of Jingzhao

appointed by his Majesty.

I can't believe you have solved the case so fast.

There's just one thing I don't understand.

How could you find that

the lighter shopkeeper was fake?

I don't know the shopkeeper

but I know the craftsman's hand.

The hands of ordinary people are used for labor,

so there are calluses in their palms.

But you dispatched

a martial artist who has distinct thick calluses

near his thumb.

I have investigated

hundreds of cases in the capital,

so it's easy for me to tell such a small deceitful trick.

I forged white flint

approval documents of the Crown Prince Mansion,

but later what I did was brought to light.

I didn't want to get the crown prince into trouble,

so I asked someone to withdraw the documents.

It was the shopkeeper that

refused to hand over the documents.

I had no other choice but

take such an unwise decision.

Wu Kaiyang,

I'm usually nice to you,

Why did you set me up like this?

I have committed a crime,

it's no need to explain for myself.

Call the imperial doctor! Quick!

Yes!

Wait.

It's too late.

Lord Mu

is a talent of our country.

It's not a disgrace

to my reputation

to be defeated by you.

We can have a fight

in our next life.

Mr. Wu

is a chess that I placed

in the palace laboriously.

But now you have ruined him

as a cover.

Tell me,

how can I punish you?

I'm incompetent.

My Lord,

please give me another chance.

If you can't find the Dream-making Crystal this time,

just commit suicide.

I called you here

because I decided to

hold a Treasure Appreciating Event

which will involve all the treasures

in the Treasure Pavilion.

Among them

there is a closing treasure.

Mu,

you must make sure

nothing goes wrong

with this event.

Trust me, your Majesty.

I will fulfill my

tasks satisfactorily.

I will declare another thing.

I'm going to grant a marriage

for Princess Begonia

and Prince Ziran.

Your Majesty,

I don't agree!

All of people in the capital know that

my fate will restrict my future husband.

Nobody want to get married with me.

What's more,

according to the doctrine of the Ye,

anyone who get marry with the girls of Ye

should live with our family.

I think it's acceptable.

He can live with your family.

I have a dozen of sons,

so it will be okay if he is not by my side.

Father,

I will often go back and have a visit.

Mu,

I want to give you an award

as you have solved the case.

I know that

you're not married yet.

The Princess of Yue has been in Great Ling for a long time,

I think that you're

a perfect match.

So, today

I'll also arrange you a marriage.

But...

Your Majesty,

please withdraw your proposal.

Your Majesty,

although I'm here for political marriage,

I want to

find a right person to

spend the rest of my life together.

I beg your permission to

let me choose my husband by myself.

I also think that

in the capital of Great Ling,

a large number of young talents remain unmarried.

We can't compel Princess of Yue

and Princess Begonia

but allow them to choose their husband by themselves.

It turns out that

I don't understand your affection.

What about this,

all of the men with appropriate age can

participate in this event.

If there is anyone who falls in love

with Princess of Yue or Princess Begonia,

I will

arrange your marriage then!

Wise order, your Majesty.

It sounds beautiful.

Do you want to play it?

Yes!

I'll teach you.

Jinyan,

You should, and must,

come to the Groom-inviting Event.

I promise you.

When we find the Dream-making Crystal,

you can live to a hundred years old.

What if I'm old many years later

with a grey hair

and look like this?

Would you still like me then?

No matter what you look like,

I will always,

always like you.

Lord Mu,

these are the treasures

which will be displayed on the event.

They are all over here.

I have counted them three times.

Lord,

Is the rarest treasure his Majesty had said

really here?

Lord Mu,

His Majesty designed 3 checkpoints

for Princess of Yue

and Princess Begonia

to select their husbands.

The first one is martial arts test,

and the second one is culture test.

The one passes one check point

will be rewarded with

a treasure here.

But, as for

the closing one,

his Majesty has another plan for it,

so it's not here.

Reckless!

How dare you

touch these treasures!

Every one of these treasures is equipped

with an anti-theft mechanism.

Be careful!

Or you might lose your life!

Yes!

Next one.

What's your name?

Wake up.

What are you looking at?

I'll sign up!

Hurry up!

Next one.

Are...

are you sure?

Ye Xiaotang

I'm sure!

Hurry up!

Don't waste my time! Be quick!

Hey, you...!

Next!

Buddy,

I suggest you think twice.

Everybody knows that Ye Xiaotang has a fate of restriction,

but you still sign up.

Do you want to die?

No one signed up here!

Look,

if I'm the only one signing up,

his Majesty will reward me with a treasure

as long as I stand on the ring.

What if Ye Xiaotang takes a fancy to you

and and asks his Majesty to marry you?

By then,

it'll be too late to regret.

Buddy,

you are such a handsome person with a beautiful beard.

You should think it carefully.

It's not worthy to die

for a treasure.

You are right.

I'll wait in line of the Princess of Yue.

Buddy,

I want to ask you a question.

Do you want to be rich?

Prince Ziran?

Do you have any ideas?

You can sign in.

Defeat Mu Jinyan first

and lose to me designedly.

By this way,

you don't need to

get married with Ye Xiaotang

but can still get a reward

from his Majesty easily.

And....

Is, is that true?

How can I trust you?

I'll go and find another person

if you are not willing to do it.

I didn't say I'm not willing to.

I will sign up right now.

Wake up!

I'll sign up. Hurry.

I will sign up

for Ye Xiaotang.

Quickly!

Please.

This way, please.

Not far ahead is the treasure appreciating section.

Please follow me, young ladies.

OK.

Jinyan!

Jinyan!

Jinyan!

Xiaotang,

it's me.

Jinyan,

you are finally here.

Look,

everything is ready except the last step.

Isn't it very similar?

I had it made by

the craftsmen at Tianbao Workshop.

It does looks like the shape

on the mural.

Of course!

The jewelry processing craft of Tianbao Workshop

is the best in Great Ling.

We take action as we have planned,

I'll be ready to support you at any time.

Xiaotang,

our plan has changed.

The Dream-making Crystal is not

among these treasures,

and every box

has an anti-theft device.

What?

How is it possible?

His Majesty shouldn't tell a lie.

He said those words in front of so many people

that day.

We'd better wait for a while.

He may have hidden the Crystal

in another place.

Let's wait and see.

We should play it by ear.

So, if we

fail to find the Dream-making Crystal,

we still can't be together,

right?

Wait, wait?

How crazy!

Why can I always see some couples?

I even want to

have a romantic relationship with a girl!

Stop dreaming!

How vulgar you are!

Even when there are tornadoes and blizzards,

none of the girls will fall in love with you!

How dare you say like that!

Are you asking for trouble?

Why do I feel that this man looks like

Lord Mu?

Go, go, go. Quickly!

Jinyan,

Why...

why are your heart beating wildly?

Are you sick again?
