I'll kill anyone that tries to mess with my child!

He looks like Tae Yun when he was young.

She dares to steal our seed from us?

I don't need a campaign plan or anything else.

I'll automatically become an assemblyman as long as I have Cha Ki Young next to me.

Park Tae Yun?

I said go away!

Your child ran to you because he recognized his own blood.

Even serial killers have the decency to care for their own children!

Bring him to me first.

Come on out.

Dan disappeared!

- I lost my child. - Did Park Tae Yun take him?

Mother, Father, I brought your grandson.

[Episode 13] I'll kill anyone that touches my son!

Give me back my son!

Why are you asking me about your son?

Didn't you take him?

Are you crazy? Why would I take someone's child?

Dan disappeared! Find him!

He said no! Hang up the phone!

They're so busy having fun together that they lost him. Way to go.

He's not my child anyway.

- Eat slowly. - There you go.

Let me see.

Is it good? Chew carefully. Good boy.

My goodness, he looks exactly like you.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

I'm home.

Welcome home.

Why is Cha Ki Young's kid here?

Why is Eun Chil that woman's child?

He's Tae Yun's son. This is your aunt, say hello.

Hello.

I asked someone I knew to bring him home, Sun Nyeo.

Does his mother know?

Not yet.

This is kidnapping!

What are you going to do if his mother reports it to the police?

What kidnapping?

We finally got back what was stolen from us four years ago!

Stop talking nonsense!

Father, he's not an item.

Right.

- It's nice to meet you. What's your name? - Cha Dan.

Park Eun Chil!

Eun Chil?

Eun Chil, eat a lot, okay? Here you go. You're such a good eater.

[Husband]

Eat some tofu, too.

- Hello? - What happened?

It's a long story. Come home and I'll explain.

Come home right now.

I said that kid is not my child! Who brought him home?

Return him to his mother this instant.

Come home and return him yourself. Prove that he's not your child.

Until then, Mom and Dad will never give him up.

He's Cha Ki Young's child...

He has nothing to do with me. I don't care if he lives or dies.

Why did you go to the shopping mall with the child?

It's his birthday today, so I took him to buy a birthday present.

And what were you doing at that time?

I was filming a program.

But why did you ask me to cover a golf show out of the blue?

I told you. The president was also going to be there...

What is this? Are you suspecting me right now?

Is that it?

In cases like this, the people close to the victim are usually the culprits.

Look here! I'm Jo Eun Cha!

You should be solving the case based on facts and evidence! What are you doing?

Start by checking the security camera first! Quickly!

Oh no! My Dan!

Zoom in on that bastard's face!

The footage is blurry so that's impossible.

- Do you know him? - No! I don't know him at all!

Cha Ki Young! Pull yourself together!

Ki Young!

Dan!

The first thing they look for in an investigation is who benefits the most.

If the goal isn't money...

Then who would benefit from kidnapping Dan?

- The little green frog... - Ah, the frog.

is swimming its way through the water.

Ta-da-da-da, freeze!

Good job, Eun Chil!

- That was very good! - Father. Mother.

[Cha Ki Young]

What are we going to do?

Step outside with Eun Chil for a moment.

Eun Chil, let's go out and play, okay? Let's go.

- Hello? - This is Cha Ki Young.

Yes?

By any chance... is Dan at that house?

What are you talking about?

You need to be strong.

If that woman takes Dan from us, you'll have to leave this house as well.

Understood?

I know it wasn't an easy decision.

Since you took in Tae Yun's child, I'll protect Eun Chil from now on.

Thank you, Father.

I'm going to have the company's security team protect our Eun Chil.

But first, I'm going to take him to the temple

and give thanks to our ancestors for returning him to us.

- Honey, call our relatives. - I understand.

Please, let's go home now!

Do you think Dan will suddenly return if you stay here all night?

Eun Cha.

If I don't sing him a lullaby... my Dan... won't be able to sleep.

He'll only sleep if I hold him...

and give him my arm as a pillow.

Seriously! You need to be strong if you want to find him!

You can't start falling apart now!

I hear your son is at my house. Come down, we need to talk.

Ki Young! Ki Young!

Ki Young! Let's go home! Please?

Dan is gone. How can I go home?

Let go of me! Let go!

Ki Young, let's go home! Okay?

Eun Cha! Please find my child for me!

Ki Young, I'm sorry. It's my fault! It's all my fault!

Ki Young, I'm sorry!

Now that you have your pajamas on, let's brush your teeth before bed, okay?

When is my mom coming? It's my birthday today.

- Really? - Yes.

Sun Nyeo.

I was standing guard outside the door. I was afraid you were going to hit him.

When did you get him pajamas? You're really scary.

Eun Chil!

Eun Chil will be sleeping with me tonight.

Mother... it might be difficult for you.

Your father-in-law wants to sleep next to Eun Chil tonight.

Eun Chil, go ahead and sleep with grandma tonight, okay?

You'll sleep with grandma tonight

and starting tomorrow, you'll be sleeping with your big mother, okay?

Who the heck is his big mother?

Myung Yi is the wife, so of course she's the big mother.

Then what about his biological mother?

She's a mistress, so she is his little mother.

Seriously, I'm going nuts here.

Goodness, you're even more handsome after your face is washed.

Let's clean your nose, too. There you go.

All done.

Honey...

His mother is here.

Say what?

Stay put. I'll go outside and take care of it.

Prepare a bowl of salt and follow me.

Yes, Mother.

President Kim.

Call the legal and medical team and have them come to my house!

What is it?

I was curious to see if my son was here.

I'll ask you one question.

Is Tae Yun the father of your child?

He is my child.

Then why are you looking for your child at our place?

I was just wondering if you mistook my son for being Tae Yun's child.

My daughter-in-law is having a tough time as it is trying to conceive.

It's bad luck if a woman who gave birth by sperm donation is lingering around.

I'm afraid the ancestors won't bless her with more children so bear with me.

I'm worried the monster you created is going to come to our house.

Close the gates.

[Husband]

Where are you?

- I'm in the room! - Which room?

Come up quickly!

When did you get in?

You know that I signed the parental rights waiver!

He's not my child!

Take him back to his mother this instant.

Your mother and father found everything out. They know that child is your son.

Where is he? I'll take him back.

Your father took him to the temple to give praise to the ancestors.

Tae Yun!

I thought I heard your voice! You rascal! When did you get in?

Just now.

We found your son! We found your son!

Mom, I'm sorry.

- But that child... - I know! I know!

My poor baby! All the suffering that you've been through!

He's not my child!

It's okay! I understand where you're coming from!

You must be so heartbroken! My poor baby!

Mother.

I'm going to go to the family temple.

Okay. It's been a while, so go and greet your ancestors with your father and son.

We're not open for business yet.

- My child is in here! - Excuse me!

Excuse me!

Stop! Excuse me!

The month of October in the year of the horse.

I, Kang Rok, your descendant...

respectfully honor you.

Our family is of noble birth yet we have not birthed many sons.

But we were suddenly blessed with Eun Chil, Tae Yun's son!

A detestable wench at that time...

Deceived us with her false pretense of a sperm donation or whatnot!

She looked down upon our family!

And even tried to steal our only grandson away from us!

However, that wench's immorality and transgressions could no longer be hidden!

Because of your protection, justice has prevailed and Eun Chil was returned to us!

Oh dear ancestors, we honor you!

Please continue to watch over us!

Excuse me!

Hurry up and catch her!

Let go! My child is in here!

You said you reported him as missing! Go home and wait for him.

Please find my child!

Please leave! You're interfering with business!

Take her out.

Dan!

My son disappeared from this place yesterday!

I know he's in there!

Please excuse us.

You stupid fool!

Why did you let that crazy wench make a fool of you

when she was lying about the sperm donation?

The child and I will be at home.

Who is this man?

He's your dad. This man is your dad.

But I have a dad.

This is your real dad.

- I don't really like you, though. - I don't really like you either.

And I don't really like you either.

Grandpa, you're really funny!

Grandpa?

Grandpa, huh? Grandpa?

Grandpa?

Hello?

Did you find your son?

- I haven't found him - Where are you?

- Why? - We need to find him.

Forget it, I don't need your help. This is my business.

Okay. Since it's your business, I'll stay out of it.

Please help me find my son! Please!

Excuse me, please help me find my child.

You took an unexcused absence from work. At this rate, you're going to get fired!

Please, let's go!

Did you... find Dan?

Ki Young, I'm sorry!

I'm sorry, Ki Young. Let's go, okay? Let's go.

Let's go.

Look at you now, Cha Ki Young.

I feel great all of a sudden.

Serves you right.

Mister, what about my mom?

Your mom... is dead.

You'll have to live with me forever now.

Chairman.

Good.

As ordered, I selected the best of the best from the company's legal and medical team.

He's the only grandson in the Park family.

And I will never forgive that crazy woman for

stealing the rightful heir to our corporation!

Bind that crazy women up tight with the law

so that she may never be able to go near our Eun Chil again.

Don't worry, Chairman. We will make sure everything is taken care of.

Please sit down.

What's going on?

- Please open your mouth. - What are you doing?

We need a sample of your saliva, Sir.

Just what are you doing?

We need a paternity test to change Eun Chil's last name from Cha to Park.

Hold on. Hold on!

How could you have fooled me and the whole world by sleeping with that crazy woman?

No one will be able to take Eun Chil away from us now!

What are you doing? Hurry it up.

Mom!

Mom!

- Happy birthday to you! - Good job.

- Happy birthday dear Eun Chil! - That's right!

- Happy birthday to you! - Good job!

Myung Yi, you did well.

Good job.

How did you know it was Eun Chil's birthday?

I can't believe you prepared all this.

I miscarried the day Eun Chil was born, Mother.

Please forgive me. I shouldn't have said that.

So that's why you miscarried. It's because of that stress.

That's okay, Mother. It's all in the past now.

Okay. Just think as it as the child you miscarried coming back to life again.

Raise Eun Chil with all your heart. You'll be blessed with good fortune then.

And someday you'll have a child of your own, too.

I understand, Mother.

When is my mom coming?

This is your mother.

Go ahead and say 'Mother.'

My mom will be waiting for me.

I said this woman is your mother.

Cha Ki Young! What are you doing? Huh?

Eun Cha.

I keep hearing Dan's voice at my place.

I'm too scared to go inside.

Then come inside my house for just a moment.

Don't stay here like this where people can see you.

Stand up. Let's go.

Let's take this off.

Sit down.

You must be sick right now.

Stay put, I'll be right back.

Go ahead and eat this.

I'm so sorry. It's all because of me.

Whether it's the prosecutors or gangs...

I've called in every favor I'm owed.

We're going to find Dan.

I...

I promise to find him for you.

He's just standing there. He won't even eat.

And he's always looking for his mother every day. Poor thing.

- Who's a poor thing? - Forgive me, Madam.

Honey, I'm going to go get some tonic for Eun Chil.

Eun Chil, Grandma will be back, okay?

Eun Chil, say goodbye to grandma. There you go.

Such a sweet boy.

Goodbye, Mother.

I'm going to head out to the news station.

Father.

I'm okay.

Tae Yun, escort Father to the news station.

That's okay. That's okay.

Your father has high blood pressure, and he's not doing so well right now.

Chairman, I'm so sorry! I'm doing whatever means necessary in finding the child.

Forget about the child. Let's just pretend that it never happened.

He should be flipping out and threatening to take my life right now.

But he wants to pretend that it never happened?

- Sit here, Sir. - Okay.

Park Tae Yun, it's been a while.

Hello, President Seo.

Sir, in case you wanted to invest in our news station...

We prepared a analysis report that might

affect your businesses in the SO division more synergistically.

Let's begin.

Profit has decreased and competition has increased in the cable TV division.

Compared to last quarter there was only a 2.5 percent growth.

Recovery is slow, and the mainstream market is slow.

Due to poor ratings, the profits from advertisements are low.

Cha Ki Young keeps failing to show up?

She's literally dying right now from losing her son and you expect her to work?

Just keep using a substitute until she's ready to come back! Do not replace her!

Your son disappeared.

Yet you seem to be doing quite well.

Cha Ki Young looks like she's about to die.

Good. You reap what you sow.

I'm going to marry Cha Ki Young once I find Dan.

Don't ever look for him until the day you die.

Something strange is going on.

I tell them that the child has disappeared and they're not fazed by it at all.

- Eun Chil! - Just where on earth...

What happened to Eun Chil?

He was here just a little while ago.

I told you to stick close to him! What were you doing?

I went to the bathroom and...

Eun Chil!

Eun Chil!

Dan!

Dan!

Hey. Let's go.

Mister, is my mom really dead?

Why do you miss your mom so much?

Because all I have is her.

You have a dad.

He's a fake dad. My friends make fun of me for it.

Where's your real dad?

My mom said that he's studying in America.

Since my mom died...

Did you and grandpa take me in so you could raise me?

Yeah.

So be a good boy and listen.

Follow me.

We might not see each other again...

So, don't hold hands with me.

Just how on earth did this happen?

Dan!

- Eun Chil! - Eun Chil!

- Dan! Dan! Dan! - Dad!

That... that punk!

Chairman... why is Dan...

- Grandpa, this is my dad! - That good for nothing punk!

Eun Chil, come here!

Why is Tae Yun's son calling you 'Dad'?

I'm sorry.

Chairman, why is Dan here?

Whose house do you think this child is supposed to be at?

I agree that his place is here.

- But you should've let his mother... - Silence!

I'm going to find out why Eun Chil is calling you his father!

But if you even say a word that Eun Chil is here...

Your news career and political career are done for!

You wretched punk! Let's go!

- Bring him inside. - Dad.

Don't go.

The fact that the child is here...

You can't bring yourself to tell Cha Ki Young, can you?

You're nothing but a trashy politician.

I may not be able to tell her since I'm a politician.

But I'm going to stick close to her to the very end so that she doesn't die.

You just make sure to take care of your son.

So that Dan doesn't run away from home looking for his fake dad.

Put me down, put me down!

Dad! Mister, you're a bad man!

Don't hit my dad! You're a bad man!

Dan, daddy's going to go.

Dad, don't go.

Dan, daddy has to go to work, so be a good boy and listen to this man, okay?

If you're a good boy, I promise to buy you a toy this big.

Dad, don't go.

- Dan, listen to your father! - Dad.

Dad!

Dad!

Dad!

Eun Chil! Eun Chil, my precious baby!

Do you think he's having an adverse reaction from the tonic you gave him?

Why would you even give that to a child?

Because he refuses to eat and he keeps losing weight.

Why did you let him go out in the cold? You should've taken better care of him.

I'm so sorry.

Oh please. He's sick because he misses his mom.

What kind of illness is that?

Call the medical team right away.

Mom, don't get sick.

You too, Dan. Don't get sick.

Mommy will get sick for you.

If she finds out that Dan is with Chairman Park...

Chairman Park will reveal that I aided and abetted Dan's kidnapping.

Seriously, I'm going nuts!

I wonder what our Eun Chil likes?

This is too childish for a little boy.

Sis, kids nowadays like to play with these kind of toys.

That bastard was a married man!

Why do I have such bad luck with men?

Sun Nyeo!

What is all this? Did you just come back from a trip?

I just came back from seeing Ara.

- Is she adjusting well in America? - Yeah.

Cha Ki Young's son... is at our house.

What?

You evil wench, why did you hide the fact that Tae Yun was the father?

Sorry.

I couldn't tell you because I was afraid it would turn out like this.

My whole family told me not to say a word to Cha Ki Young.

But the child is sick because he misses his mom.

So let her know that he's at our house.

I'll show you a picture of him.

What the heck?

- What's wrong? - My cell phone is gone!

I'll call your phone to see where it is.

Hello?

That's Park Sun Nyeo's cell phone, right?

Please let me talk to her if she's next to you.

He wants to talk to you.

Hello?

Why are you leaving your cell phone at random places?

- Who is this? - It's your ex-husband.

Pedro?

Why do you have my cell phone?

You left it at the shopping mall a little while ago.

Text me your address and I'll bring it to you right away.

- Text him the address to this place. - Do you know him?

No, he's just a married man.

- I'm going to go. - Where are you going?

To the esthetician. I completely forgot that I made an appointment.

Please help me find my baby! Please!

Your child is at my house.

What?

This is kind of nasty for a three year reunion.

- Yun Hee, I'll call you later... - Dan is at Park Tae Yun's house.

He got sick because he missed you.

Okay, Yun Hee.

- Dan is sick? - Since he's not my child...

I don't know.

If by chance something bad happens to him...

You're going to die first.

Then I'm going to kill the rest of your family and I'll kill myself, too!

That's what I'm hoping for.

Dan! Dan! Give me back my son! Dan!

Dan!

Our Eun Chil is eating so well.

The child's mother is here again.

- What? - Mom!

- Go quickly! - Eun Chil...

I can't believe this.

Lawyer Kim, the child's mother is here. Take care of it quickly!

Mom!

- Mom! - Dan!

Give him back to her! Move aside.

Dan! Dan!

- Get her. - Dan!

Dan! Let go of me!

Let go! Let go of me! Dan!

- Get her in the car! - Dan!

Dan!

Dan!

Dan!

You fool!

Be careful that this doesn't get leaked to the reporters.

Yes, Sir.

I'm Chairman Park's lawyer.

Give me back my child.

If you don't, I'll charge Chairman Park for kidnapping.

Do whatever you want.

We're also in the process of taking legal action.

But, Ms. Cha Ki Young...

What do you think will happen if the media finds out

that you deceived the whole country about your fake sperm donation?

You will no longer be able to live in this country.

Your son as well.

It may not matter to you.

But your innocent son will be hurt the most by it.

Since you're an experienced news anchor...

I'm sure you know very well what the outcome will be.

If an incident like this breaks loose...

your son will be ripped apart under the public eye.

Is this little boy... your son?

And that little girl you were with at the shopping mall... is she your daughter?

She's my niece, and the woman is my sister.

- This is my nephew, too. - Isn't he Announcer Cha Ki Young's son?

How do you know that?

I saw them at the fashion show.

Her sperm donation was my little brother.

But why did she lie about it?

My parents were against them getting married.

They couldn't get married

and she probably lied because my family would take the baby away from her.

And ultimately that's exactly what happened.

That's so sad. I feel so bad for her and her son.

Being torn from your mother at that age is so painful that you want to die.

I've experienced it, so I know what that feels like.

That's why I don't want to get married or have children.

You suffer even if you get married.

And you suffer if you have children out of wedlock.

I thought you were married with two kids.

That's right! I'm married and I have two kids!

- What is wrong with me? - Women who have children of their own...

never have pictures of their niece or nephew on their home screen.

You're so cool and young.

And I'm so old and shabby...

I'm just trying really hard not to see you as man.

With that outfit you have on...

Do you want to do something really reckless, childish, and romantic?

This is so exciting!

Faster! Go faster!

Hey! You...

This is a traditional cuisine I learned in Japan. It's called Monjayaki.

It's a Japanese version of a mung bean pancake.

- Tae Yun! - You...

What are you doing?

I traveled all over the world and learned to cook every cuisine out there. Father...

- I'm a culinary genius. - That's enough!

Sure.

No matter how much you reject me, you're still my son.

And Eun Chil is your son.

I've already lived my life and now the sun is setting down upon me.

For you, the sun is soaring high in the sky.

I want you to live your life to its fullest.

Throwing away something that should be valued...

is a man's life.

What do you think about sending Tae Yun, Myung Yi, and Eun Chil to America?

When does our amusement park open during this season?

The fog is severe during the fall, so I hear it opens around eleven o'clock.

Why the amusement park?

I want to take Eun Chil there before it's open to the public.

The button fell off.

Hand it over.

It's fine. I'm better at it.

Hand it over. I'll do it for you.

Why do want to sew my buttons on for me?

Women are supposed to sew on the buttons for the man they have feelings for.

And wash their socks and underwear, too?

You're surprisingly conservative.

It seems like the roles of men and women are implanted in your brain.

I feel so bad for Tae Yun.

You should be feeling sorry for Ki Young and her child.

She's the one that pulled off that crazy stunt.

Why is that crazy?

How could she think about having a baby out of wedlock? She's crazy.

On top of that, she lied about receiving a sperm donation.

That's an insult to Tae Yun's character.

Joon Young... you're a bit two-faced.

- How? - The way you think is cool.

But there's an undeniable archaic DNA lodged deep inside your heart

that's been passed down from your forefathers.

Well, all the men from your generation are like that.

Yun Hee... did I do something wrong?

Yeah.

What is it?

Why are you calling me 'Yun Hee'?

Why are you call me 'Joon Young'?

It's probably evidence that we've grown apart.

I'm going to go.

I won't be seeing you out.

Cha Ki Young!

- Have a good time, Father. - We will.

Get in, Eun Chil.

Eun Chil, have a good time with grandpa at the amusement park, okay?

Yes, Grandma.

Cha Ki Young!

Somehow, I knew you would be here.

You knew that Dan was here, didn't you?

What are you talking about? I had no idea! I swear! I swear!

Chairman Park is funding your campaign.

And the whole news station knows you've been in and out of this house lately.

You're telling me that you didn't know?

Acting recklessly like this isn't going to solve anything!

The Republic of Korea is a constitutional country! Use the law to solve it!

- Take them to court! - Why?

So you can do some PR for your election? Like you did at the fashion show?

While Dan gets ripped apart by the whole world.

You get to be the hero and be elected to the National Assembly, right?

I forgot to give your father Dan's medicine.

You go.

I have to run errands for your mother.

Why is it Dan and not Eun Chil?

I'll call him Eun Chil after he really becomes my child.

Right now, he's not our son or even Cha Ki Young's son.

Officially, he's just an orphan.

If I were Dan, I would punish my parents once I became an adult.

Both of you are committing a huge sin against him right now.

Do you know why my mom became the lady of the house of such a wealthy family?

It's because of her absolute respect for my father.

And do you know what the biggest display of that respect is?

No matter what kind of nonsense a man says, you shut your mouth and applaud him.

If you say one more word...

I'm going to divorce you.

What's going on here?

It's nothing.

The results of the paternity test is here.

[Paternity Test]

[Paternity is 99.999 percent likely.]

Eun Chil, isn't this nice?

You guys stay here.

All right then.

In the beginning, I built this amusement park so I could come with your father.

But I couldn't come because I was too busy making money.

Now that I'm old, I can't come because your father hates me.

Grandpa, I want to ride it.

Is that so? Let's go on the rides then.

I want to get on it now.

Okay. Be careful now.

- Grandpa, this is so fun. - Are you having fun? Really?

Stop!

- Mom! - Dan.

- Let's go home. - You...

Stop right there! Stop!

Stop right there! Stop!

I'm going to sue you for kidnapping my son.

And who is the one that stole our seed from us?

- He's my child. - He's Tae Yun's child!

I conceived and gave birth to him all on my own!

I will destroy anyone that tries to mess with my child!

You stole our seed from us! Where do you get off raising your voice?

Hand him over!

Father!

Father!

Father! Father, what's wrong? Father!

Are you okay? Father, wake up! Father!

Cha Ki Young! Bring him back!

Cha Ki Young!

Father!

Yes?

What would you like to do about the parental rights and child custody lawsuit?

Proceed.

- Are you Cha Ki Young? - Yes, I am.

Sign here please.

[Seoul Family Court]

[Request to Amend Parental and Custodial Rights]

[Judge]

It seems as though Ms. Cha Ki Young has refused to come.

We will go ahead and proceed the trial without her.

I'm Cha Ki Young.

Case number 2014-0117.

The claimant, Park Tae Yun and the claimee, Cha Ki Young's

trial for a change in parental and custodial rights will now begin.

Subtitles by DramaFever

Cha Ki Young has agreed to be Park Tae Yun's mistress.

- Why are you drawing that man? - He came to the daycare today.

He started to cry with me.

Does anyone know who the new manager is?

In fact, it's a loss of power.

Rumors are going around that the station's order of power will be turned upside down.

Starting now, I want all of you to dig up all the dirt you kind find of Jo Eun Cha.

Whoever who digs up the most dirt will be the new anchor for the nine o'clock news.

Hey! I'm Jo Eun Cha. You think I'm going to let some hand-picked punk take me down?

I'm going to destroy Channel Korea as soon as I become an assemblyman!
