[Catch Up My Prince]

[Episode 15]

Zhao Chen Yi, I have something to tell you.

I have something to tell you, too.

It's been a while since I told you a story.

I want to properly tell you a story.

Why don't we get out of here?

Okay.

So tell me, what kind of story are you telling me today?

I'll take notes in the sketchbook.

Why did you bring the sketchbook?

The ending of the last story wasn't rich enough.

We can finish it together this time.

Today I'm telling you a story about two lovers

who can't be together.

Once upon a time, there was a girl.

She accidentally came across a mechanical doll.

He could laugh and cry

just like a human being.

But the only difference...

was that he didn't have hands of a human,

but instead two pairs of scissors for hands.

The girl really liked the doll,

and they spent every day together.

But one day, the girl realized

that the mechanical doll...

didn't just give her the love she wanted.

He also caused her pain and suffering.

Since the mechanical doll had scissors for hands,

he couldn't hug her

nor caress her face.

Everywhere he touched...

would leave scars.

The mechanical doll didn't do it on purpose, but he couldn't control himself.

Since Big Brother wants an insignificant maid, you can have her.

The girl actually

really loved the mechanical doll.

But one day, she suddenly realized

that everything the mechanical doll does for her

has all been programmed.

The mechanical doll doesn't have a heart. He doesn't know what it means to love someone.

The girl was very upset by this,

and ended up leaving him.

I don't like this story.

Zhao Chen Yi.

I can't marry you.

Girl, did I do something wrong?

I'll change.

There are some things you just can't change.

How can you change a relationship

with a favorable impression score of zero?

Do you know why moths dart into fire?

Because they have no choice, just like me.

I have no choice, either.

But I can't die like moths do.

I have to make it home alive.

I'll return this to you.

It's returned to its rightful owner now.

You told me you liked me.

You said you'd marry me.

We're not destined to be together.

It's better if we save ourselves the pain. Am I right?

[Lake Heart Pavilion]

Get out!

Your Highness. Okay, I'll leave now.

How can you say such hurtful words?

What great love.

Lovers who can't be together.

It's getting messier.

Miss Li.

Fourth Prince, why are you drinking here?

Is something troubling you? Why don't you tell me about it?

It's none of your business.

I'm guessing it must be because Miss Lu

saw through to your true colors.

I'm not doing anything anyways. I'll go congratulate her

- Come. - for figuring it out before it was too late.

One of these days I'll ask Her Majesty

to reward me with her.

Come on.

What gives?

How can you be so cold with my sister

but care about Lu Ren Jia so much?

I won't allow it.

Miss Lu.

Miss Li.

Are you free, Miss Lu?

Did you need something, Miss Li?

I heard that you rejected Fourth Prince's proposal.

I was wrong about you before.

So I'd like to invite you to dinner tonight

for a chat and to apologize.

Okay.

It's too late to drink in the court,

so I hope you don't mind drinking with me in here.

I can do wherever.

This way, please.

What is this?

I acted recklessly before. I hope you can forgive me.

I'll finish my glass to show my respect.

The past is in the past. You don't have to worry about it so much.

I owe you many apologies.

I hope you're not too mad with me.

You already apologized.

You really don't need to keep apologizing.

No, I'm apologizing for what's coming.

For what's coming?

This is quite strong.

I'm already a bit drunk.

No, that's just the drugs

starting to work.

You drugged me? Why?

Do you remember what I told you about my sister?

This is the room she used to stay in.

She got burned to her death here.

Here?

Apologies. Blame Zhao Chen Yi for this.

So the marks on the wall are from renovating this place after the fire.

Do it as soon as possible. Don't leave room for any unseen circumstances.

Yes.

Your Highness.

Miss Li sent this letter.

It's not like she's anyone important. Why are you so flustered?

The person who handed me this letter said that Miss Xiao Jia was invited to Miss Li's place,

and that you'll regret it if you don't read it.

[Miss Lu will soon be with my sister.]

Miss Lu will soon be with my sister.

Sister, do you think Zhao Chen Yi wants

to see the person he loves

get burned to death?

It seems like I'm dying in here.

I don't even get a single chance to be brought back to life.

You came so quickly, Fourth Prince.

Girl is in there, right?

All I did was ask her to come for drinks.

- Aren't you worried that you'd die? - Let go!

Zhao Chen Yi! Why is it that you're willing to go to such extremes for her?

- I can't believe you saved her! - Move!

I told you to move! Are you deaf? Move!

Give me an explanation!

What does she have that my sister doesn't?

Fourth Prince, what happened? [Pharmacy Department]

You're hurt. Let me take care of your wounds for you.

I'm fine. See her first.

What happened here?

Luckily, she didn't get scathed too badly.

She just inhaled too much of the fumes,

and caused damage to her internal organs.

She needs to rest in bed. I'll write her a prescription now

and have someone make the medicine. She'll be okay after taking the medicine

and getting some rest. I should also check...

Fourth Prince!

You're wounded! You shouldn't go running about!

You saved Miss Lu.

- Direct all your hate at me. - Why did you save her?

I love her. Of course I'd save her!

If you can save Miss Lu, why did you do nothing

and watch my sister die in the fire?

- Sorry. - Sorry?

Did you even ever like my sister?

I never liked your sister.

Yes, I was wrong for using her.

But I really didn't think she would...

My sister loved you so much.

She gave up her life for you!

What does she have that she doesn't?

I'll make up for all the pain

- I caused you and your sister. - You'll make up for it?

How are you going to make up for it? She's dead!

Yes!

As you said,

I will never be able to make up for all the pain I caused you and your sister.

But I plead you to please direct all of your hate at me.

Don't hurt the person I love.

Sorry.

I don't need him to reciprocate my love for him.

My love for him is none of his business.

I have no regrets.

Sister, are you seeing this?

He doesn't care at all that you died.

He's just as fragile as you were now that he found someone he loves.

Direct all of your hate at me.

Don't hurt the person I love.

You're both the same. It's one-sided love.

[Pear Blossom Garden]

You're awake. Slowly.

The imperial physician said you can't move around too much.

What are you doing here?

I came as soon as I heard you were hurt.

The imperial physician sent someone with this medicine just now.

It's perfect to drink.

Listen to your voice, it's so hoarse. My heart aches seeing you like this.

I didn't mean to come into your room. I was just very worried about you.

Was there anyone else here before you?

No.

He didn't come to see me.

Who? Who do you want to see, Xiao Jia?

- I'm going out. - Where are you going? You're still injured, Xiao Jia.

Don't stop me. I want an explanation.

Xiao Jia. Whatever it is you want to do,

you have to get yourself healthy first.

What if you faint on the way there?

Come on. Go back to bed.

Xiao Jia, promise me you'll rest up for a few more days.

I'll accompany you to whatever it is you want to do then.

You're all grown up now, Little Eleven.

You got taller, too.

That's right. I'm all grown up now.

- I can marry you and take care of you now. - What are you talking about?

You're still too young.

Didn't you just say that I'm all grown up now?

Alright, alright. I take it back.

Are you still going out then?

No. Just like you said,

health comes first.

Get some good rest.

Don't you like licorice plum?

I'll get some for you.

Second Young Highness,

How are your burns?

I'm fine. Master said I just need

to rest for a few days.

Eat it.

The death pill again?

There's poria cocos, licorice, and fritillaria in here.

Isn't this Tiedi Pill?

I remember this is a tonic medicine that clears heat and resolves phlegm.

Since you're okay, I will leave first.

Your Highness, have you not spoke with Miss Lu about your thoughts?

I can't find the chance to.

Since you like Miss Lu,

Why don't you tell her about your thoughts?

It's inappropriate for me to act so recklessly.

Miss Lu was injured recently, Your Highness, you can come visit her more.

She's afraid of me.

I don't think this is fear.

But respect. Which madam in the harem

doesn't respect the emperor?

I want her to

willingly like me.

Greeting Second Young Highness.

Miss Li,

Miss Lu, are you afraid of me?

I nearly lost my life,

how could I not be afraid.

- Miss. - I made a mistake that almost cost you your life.

please forgive me Miss Lu.

Then why did you do this?

To take revenge.

Get up.

So,

that house really belongs to Li Caiwei?

Yes, it is.

You did this because of Zhao Chenyi, right?

Yes.

Then you are really mistaken.

He doesn't even like me.

Your revenge is useless.

In his heart, I am like other girls.

Your sister and I are the same.

But no matter what, I shouldn't have involved you.

By the way, this is my family's treasured life-saving medicine.

I'm giving it to you as an apology.

-Thank you, -Clearly I was the one who wronged you,

why are you thanking me?

I am thanking you for retreating your hand at the last minute and allowing me to live.

Why are you not exposing what I did?

Coincidentally I wasn't seriously injured,

and I will be okay after a few days of rest.

Why should I involve you in this

and bring up all that old history?

You're doing this because of Zhao Chenyi, right?

You can think of it like that.

But right now, I no longer have any relationship with him.

These two people clearly like each other,

but there seems to be a deep misunderstanding.

Your Highness,

No need for formalities

I am only here to take a look at your injuries.

I am alright. Please sit.

I am not sure what happened between you and Fourth.

I'm on your side if he betrayed you.

We are okay.

We just peacefully separated.

If it were really a peaceful separation,

why would you be so sad?

Is it that obvious?

I don't care what happened between the two of you,

I just hope that you keep a good conscience.

Please don't ever do anything that you will regret.

Also, you must take good care

of this body of yours.

-Your Highness, -Your Highness,

Drink some water.

Your Highness, it has only been a few days since I last saw you, why has your illness gotten worse?

Quickly, drink the water and then I will check your pulse for you.

It's alright, maybe it's because I haven't been resting enough these past two days.

I'll ask Lord Sun to take a look at me when I go back.

You don't need to worry about me.

You only need to focus on taking good care of your injuries.

Your Highness, why don't we return to the manor and rest?

Have a good rest,

Your Highness, be careful.

The crown prince seems like a really loving older brother.

Clearly he is the one who is feeling unwell

Yet he is still worried about me.

[Pear Blossom Garden]

I am so badly injured,

yet, he doesn't even think to come a see me.

Whatever,

we've separated already anyways.

There is no need to see a lowly servant girl like me anymore.

[Fourth Prince - Zhao Chen Yi]

Zhao Chen Yi,

you are a bastard.

Bastard.

Make sure to not mess this up.

Please rest assured Your Highness.

Your Highness,

Sit.

Your Highness, Miss Li paid Miss Xiao Jia a visit.

It seems like they're on good terms now.

Second Prince and Eleventh Prince took turns visiting Miss Xiao JIa.

Eleventh Prince also brings different food every time

to try to cheer up Miss Xiao Jia.

Miss Xiao Jia was sitting outside her door for a while just now.

I wonder who she was waiting for.

Your Highness.

Are you really not going to pay her a visit?

I'm good.

Your Highness, why do this to yourself?

You wouldn't understand.

I don't understand it, either.

Your Highness, it's late now.

You should go back to your room to rest if you're feeling unwell.

I will.

Your Highness.

Your Highness.

Your Highness! Your Highness! Help!

Help! Your Highness! Your Highness!

Help! Help!

His Highness is coughing up blood! Go get the imperial physician!

- You! Get me the medicine kit! - Yes!

Quickly!

Your Highness. What's going on with you?

Quick! Bring me the medicine kit! [Everlasting Palace]

Really?

I heard it with my own ears.

Wu Zi Xin

truly is good.

She succeeded so soon.

Your Majesty, everyone is at Always Inviting Palace.

His Majesty rushed over there as soon as he heard, too.

If His Majesty investigates this matter, then...

What are you nervous about?

His Majesty won't find anything on me even if he investigates.

Miss Xin'er.

Why is Her Majesty asking for me?

She wants to help you with your mission.

I'm not sure I know what you mean.

The crown prince is getting healthier.

It'll be much more difficult to shake his power

once the crown princess gives birth

to His Majesty's eldest grandson.

Her Majesty went to great lengths to get this.

It's colorless and odorless. It will show no traces of poisoning.

Her Majesty said that it's up to you

whether or not you want to do this.

We have even better targets

ahead of us.

[Always Inviting Palace]

Why did this happen? Is this how you take care of the crown prince?

- Greetings, Your Majesty. - Enough. It's not the time to salute.

Tell me what's going on with the crown prince.

Although the crown prince's pulse was not typical of a the average healthy human being

when I was checking the crown prince's pulse a few days ago,

his condition was still gradually improving.

But when I checked his pulse today,

it took a sudden turn for the worse.

You mean,

someone harmed the crown prince?

Why is the physician girl who's been nursing the crown prince back to good health not here?

Ren Jia inhaled too much smoke a few days ago.

She took a leave to rest.

What a coincidence. The crown prince was harmed

when she fell ill.

Father,

you asked for me?

Did you know about the crown prince getting poisoned?

I heard a bit about it when I woke up this morning.

I was planning on paying him a visit.

You sure do love your brother.

Since that's the case,

I order you to investigate this matter within the next two days.

I want him in front of me

alive or dead.

Mr. Jiu, did you check all the maids

in the Always Inviting Palace today?

We're missing one maid.

- What was her name? - Wu Zi Xin.

Wu Zi Xin is a maid of the Dining Department.

She takes care of the meals for the nobles in the Always Inviting Palace.

Help Mr. Nine.

I want her found

even if you have to dig three feet into the Always Inviting Palace.

Your Highness!

How is Big Brother doing?

Lord Sun, Minister of Imperial Medical Affairs, has given the crown prince a diagnosis.

He thinks that someone poisoned him,

and caused a serious loss of physical vitality.

I saw that Second Prince has been put in charge of the Always Inviting Palace on my way back.

His Majesty ordered for an investigation.

Also,

I heard that a maid of the Always Inviting Palace fled when it got messy.

A maid?

Is it Xin'er?

Yes.

Quick. Send someone down.

Your Highness, we can't get involved in this.

Make sure they find Xin'er.

You mean you want to help Miss Xin'er?

How am I supposed to help her?

I tried to advised her against it time and time again.

If this really is her doing,

I can't play favorites and let her off.

Understood.

It's only been a few days since we saw each other,

and the crown prince is sick again.

I can't catch a break.

I wonder how the crown princess is doing.

I'll bring the antiabortifacient with me, too.

A foe is here.

Miss Xin'er, you came at such a bad time. I was just about to leave.

Forgive me for not being able to entertain you.

Please take your leave.

Come with me.

Where are you taking me?

Taking you away from here.

Make yourself clear. Where are you taking me?

Of course I'm taking you

to the way to the netherworld!

Are you insane? You're trying to kill me?

You can fool His Highness, but you can't fool me!

What are you talking about? You madwoman!

Bitch!

Help! Second Prince!

Second Prince!

You got here so fast, Your Highness.

Stop doing these hopeless things.

I'll spare your life if you don't resist arrest.

Spare my life? You already sent people to arrest me.

- How can I trust your words? - You!

Let me go if you don't want her to get hurt.

No way.

Why are you doing this, Your Highness?

What happened today is most beneficial for you.

So it was you who poisoned the crown prince.

I'm just helping your wish come true.

Why won't you cut me some slack?

His Majesty ordered me to catch the criminal.

How can I let you go?

Bitch!

Your Highness!

How is Wu Zi Xin so skilled in martial arts?

Her Majesty has arrived.

- Mother. - Yao'er, you caught the criminal who poisoned the crown prince.

I caught the suspect

in accordance with our clues.

You never let me down.

What are you waiting for?

Arrest the criminal and her accomplice!

- Take them to prison and interrogate them thoroughly! - Yes!

Mother, leave this to me.

I didn't do anything.

Mother, she has nothing to do with this.

How do you know that if you haven't interrogated her yet?

As the physician in charge of the crown prince's health,

she let the crown prince get poisoned due to her dereliction of duty. How can you say you're not an accomplice?

Mother, Lu Ren Jia fell ill from a fire a few days ago.

How can she have done this when she's still injured?

Yao'er, you're being so careless.

How do you know that this girl isn't faking her injury

to give herself an alibi?

How could I ever harm the crown prince, Your Majesty?

Stop lying! How could I have been able to poison him without your help?

- You! - Wu Zi Xin, what are you talking about?

- Shut her up and take them away! - Mother!

- Let go of me! - Wu Zi Xin.

Zi Kang.

Let's go!

- Take her to the prison! - Come on!

- Xiao Jia! - Yao'er.

Don't let me down.

Behave yourself!

Get in.

I...

Where's Wu Zi Xin? Why didn't you bring her in her?

Be quiet! You better behave yourself. Why would I put you two together? For you two to come up with a fake statement?

I...

I didn't do anything! Why arrest me?

I heard that Physician Lu, the physician treating the crown prince, got arrested.

There must be some misunderstanding. Please let her go, Father.

Bastard!

What makes you think you can make that request?

Plotting against the crown prince is a crime that gets you beheaded!

You think I'll let her go because you said it was a misunderstanding?

Who do you think you are?

Calm down, Your Majesty. Xuan'er is just trying to be kind,

and said the wrong thing. Please forgive him.

Father, Physician Lu is my good friend. She's the kindest person I know.

She would never do anything to harm the crown prince.

Kind?

She had something to do with the crown prince getting poisoned last time.

And she's a suspect again this time!

Don't you think these coincidences are getting a bit ridiculous?

Enough.

Unless you can prove that she was indeed set up,

don't even think

about having me let her go.
