[Catch Up My Prince]

[Episode 12]

Greetings, Empress.

Why did Empress called me here?

You are Lu Ren Jia?

Yes.

I heard about the good health of Crown Prince and Crown Princess.

It's thanks to you.

I can't take credit for it. This is what I should do.

I want to reward you.

What's going on?

Empress rewards you with this. Eat it.

Thank you, Empress. But I'm not very hungry.

You dare to defy Empress?

As if I believe that this tea and pastry has no problems.

How's the taste?

Thank you, Empress. The taste...

Bring her down.

[Pear Blossom Garden]

Your health is so bad. Why didn't you tell Empress earlier?

You threw up blood. Empress was startled.

I was the one who fainted for no reason.

I was also the one who was startled, okay?

The palace has it's own rules. If your health is very bad, you can't serve the nobles.

Empress is benevolent.

She specially prepared a residence for you outside the palace.

You can recuperate by yourself.

What you meant was you want to expel me from the palace, right?

Be careful of what you say, Ms. Lu. Whether you are willing

or not, nobody can protect you.

- Everyone, stop! Put down the things! - Eleven?

I kindly ask Your Highness not to hinder our work.

I don't care. Nobody is stepping out of this door today.

What are you doing here?

Greetings, Your Highness.

Xiao Jia, you're packing your things. Where are you going?

Replying Your Highness, Empress granted Ms. Lu to recuperate outside the palace.

Xiao Jia is the maid at the Medicine Department in the first place.

Why must she recuperate outside the palace?

Eldest Brother, they are bullying Xiao Jia.

They are too much!

- Save her. Quick, save her! - Your Highness.

Eldest Brother.

My abdomen is extremely painful.

The Imperial Physicians said only Ms. Lu

can cure it. She has the remedy.

Yes. Look at how painful my Fourth Brother is.

Xiao Jia, quick, check him.

But Empress said—

You're presumptuous! My abdomen is extremely painful.

So what if Mother knows about it?

Don't tell me I have to continue being in pain?

Your Highness.

Greetings, Your Highness.

Eldest Brother.

What are you guys doing here?

Ms. Lu is meritorious for curing me.

I already asked Father to make an exception

and give the decree to promote her as Medicine Department's female physician.

Why are you guys still not standing down?

Yes.

Xiao Jia.

Eleven.

Don't you have morning classes tomorrow? Let Physician Lu rest properly.

Go back earlier.

Yes. Then I'll excuse myself first.

Brother, is your abdomen still painful?

Do you want to get the Imperial Physician over to diagnose and treat?

Many thanks for your concern, Eldest Brother. I'm fine.

I hope Eldest Brother can take care of your health.

Okay then, you take good care of Xiao Jia.

Yes.

Second Brother.

Is there an edict for Xiao Jia's promotion by Father?

No.

Do you know that faking an imperial decree is a serious offence?

Eldest Brother, you don't need to worry about me.

I will definitely get the imperial decree for Xiao Jia.

If I don't say it like this today,

how will the people at Mother's palace give up?

But Empress....

Forget it. Anyway, now Xiao Jia is safe.

Tomorrow I'll also go and plead Father.

[Wei Yang Palace]

People in the palace reported that His Highness use the fake reason of granting her as a female physician

and held her back.

Your Highness, it's late. Empress is preparing to rest.

Your Highness, come tomorrow if you're looking for her.

Your Highness!

Greetings, Mother.

You still came to greet me at this late hour?

Chasing Xiao Jia out of the palace is your intention.

You've also lost your mind because of that servant?

You really did it.

Even though she's quite capable, the palace can't use her.

Keeping her for one day, she'll be of hinderance for one more day.

You better also keep a farther distance from her.

- I can't do that. - You...

What's with Lu Ren Jia being made female physician?

You really requested a decree from His Majesty?

You actually faked an imperial decree for a servant?

I will explain everything to Father.

I'll go to request for the imperial decree for her.

What exactly did she possessed you with?

You actually faked an imperial decree.

If your father knows about it,

he will blame you.

I will handle everything properly.

You will handle everything properly?

How can Father be rest assured

to hand over the country to you with your behavior?

I will prove my capability to Father.

I know your arrogance.

But you must also understand.

You're the only legitimate son of Xin Ming.

You are the person who will get to the high position in the future.

You must never be held back by love and beauty.

Forget it. I don't want to mention things that will dampen my spirit.

I have helped you take a look at General Li family's Second Miss.

General Li's has important territories at the border in his hands.

He is an important chess piece.

Next month's New Year's Eve dinner,

I'll arrange for you to meet her.

I understand everything that you want to do.

But I want to get what I want fair and aboveboard.

So unscrupulous,

- I can never accept. - You...

Mother, I'll excuse myself.

You...

Physician Li, how's she?

Junior Sister's condition became serious because there's residual poison internally

which wasn't removed and she also caught a cold.

I already prescribed medicine to help Junior Sister cure the cold.

Wait till me and my master discuss about the correct method,

only then we can slowly nurse her internal residual poison.

- She's fine for now, right? - Yes.

Okay, you can leave.

Girl, when will you stop making me worry?

So you have my jade fan.

Sugarcane the Fourth, you are a scumbag.

You are so sick and yet you didn't stop scolding me.

This shows that I am still very important to you.

[Pear Blossom Garden]

Drink two more doses of medicine and you'll be fine.

I have been a trouble to Teacher and Senior these past few days.

It doesn't matter. I'm just prescribing the medicine anyway.

You have to prepare the medicine yourself.

You have to recover sooner and help out in the Medicine Department sooner.

This time, you made contributions by conditioning the Crown Princess's body to make her pregnant.

Even the emperor was alarmed.

You deserve the title of a female physician.

In the future, you should be more diligent in the Medicine Department.

Alright. Rest well.

Come back to the Medicine Department in a couple of days.

You are still needed to look after

the health of the Crown Prince and the Crown Princess.

Leave it to me, Teacher.

Alright.

Teacher, Senior, take care.

- Qin Shou. - I'm here, Dear.

Do you think I would have been able to complete my mission

if I had been kicked out of the palace at that time?

You're not even in the palace anymore, how else can you complete the mission?

You're right.

Failure to complete means death.

Do I really have no chance to save the game anymore?

No more. Cherish what you have at the moment.

Xiao Jia, how is your recovery going?

Eleven, what brought you here?

I brought you some snacks and wine.

I've asked Lord Sun, you can drink this wine.

Oh yes, there are also tonics. Lord Sun said it's meant for you to nourish your body

Alright.

But I'm almost fully recovered.

Look at me.

I am useless, I could only watch you being bullied by others at that time,

but could not do anything.

You are still young. You'll grow to be a fine man in a few more years.

Here, have one.

Are you willing to wait for me for a few more years?

Of course, you will be crowned in a few years.

When the time comes, I will drink with you to celebrate.

Xiao Jia, are you alright? Are you not feeling well?

I'm fine. It could be that I'm not completely over my cold.

You go back first. I'll look for you when I'm done.

[Favorable impression score: Eleventh Prince Zhao Chen Xuan - 63, Second Prince Zhao Chen Yao - 61, Crown Prince Zhao Chen Yu - 57, Fourth Prince Zhao Chen Yi - 0]

Have you still not recovered?

Thank you for your concern, Your Highness.

Your poison is not that easy to cure.

Even though I drank the antidote, the residual poison is difficult to dispel.

I will not fully recover in a year or so.

I'm sorry.

He actually apologized?

Father's decree to make you a female physician has already been issued.

You won't have to worry about being kicked out by anyone anymore.

Thank you, Your Highness. The Medicine department is dirty and not suitable for you to be here.

Why don't you leave first?

I have work to do, so I can't accompany you.

Your Highness, I have received your apology.

I need some peace and quiet.

Girl.

Why are you here?

I came to see you, of course, and brought you some tonic.

I've been sick for so long,

and you've only come to see me now.

- Before this... - Before this,

I always thought I had a special and different presence in your heart.

I found out recently that I was thinking too much.

I'm just like a pet cat to you.

When you want to see me, you'll come running to me.

When you don't want to see me, you will kick me away.

Girl, when have I ever treated you like this?

[Favorable impression score: Eleventh Prince Zhao Chen Xuan - 63, Second Prince Zhao Chen Yao - 61, Crown Prince Zhao Chen Yu - 57, Fourth Prince Zhao Chen Yi - 0]

Your Highness, I'm a little tired today and want to rest.

How about you leave first?

It's too small here

to keep a huge figure like you.

Your Highness, please go back.

I am a prince, so what if I have a few women?

You don't really think

I'm going to be devoted to you after coaxing you twice?

You...

I guess she's still mad at me.

I'll come another day.

The medicine is ready.

Qin Shou.

I'm here, Dear.

Why is the favorable impression score

of other characters increasing,

but Zhao Chen Yi's is always zero?

Is there a system bug?

No bug was detected in the favorable impression programming.

Dear, I suggest you to change the character to pursue.

You mean to say that I should give up the true feelings

I have invested for so long

and stop the loss in time?

You're wise. I'm just suggesting that

you change a character to pursue.

So who do you think I should change to?

Based on the favorable impression score,

Eleventh Prince Zhao Chen Xuan is a good choice.

Impossible. Little Eleven is my younger brother.

He's like my family. How can I pursue him?

Dear, I can't tell that you are a girl with modesty.

No kidding.

Then, you should think about it again.

I'm just like a pet cat to you.

When you want to see me, you'll come running to me.

When you don't want to see me, you will kick me away.

[Pear Blossom Garden]

Junior, what are you doing?

Senior.

- Senior. - Did I give you a scare just now?

Not at all.

You're not fully recovered yet. You need to rest. Why are you still acting so rashly?

Don't worry, Senior. I'm fine.

Junior, what is that in your hand?

This is my life-saving medicine.

- Where did my medicine go? - Is it missing?

Did you spill it on the floor?

Are you sure this is the drug?

I'm sure. Do you have any?

I don't have it.

Your hat is crooked.

Let me help you straighten it.

Alright, done.

No hurry, Junior. Let's take our time to find it.

Okay.

I was thinking of coming back to take the antidote,

but I came back to find the bottle on the floor.

And how come there is nothing left inside?

Junior, is the antidote you are talking about,

the one that cleanses the poison in your body?

Yes.

Don't worry, Junior. The smell of the herbs in the bottle is still there, so I can indentify the ingredients of the medicine.

- Really? - Yes.

Furthermore, I know your pulse pattern very well. With a little analysis,

I can prepare a new antidote for you.

Senior, you're amazing.

Of course. If I wasn't good, why would Teacher accept me as his student?

Senior, you are our role model.

Junior, stop praising me.

By the way, why did you suddenly come to see me today?

Now that you are officially appointed by the emperor as a female physician, this is the official uniform of the Medicine Department specially made for you.

Teacher accepted you as the only female student, there is no precedent to follow in the palace.

So, we made the uniform in accordance with the color scheme of the other medical students under Teacher.

This is an exclusive honor in the palace.

Thank you Teacher and Senior.

What is this?

[New Year's Eve Banquet Invitation to Lu Ren Jia] This is an invitation to the New Year's Eve banquet. Teacher asked me to bring it to you.

And he asked me to remind you

to stay close to the Crown Princess on New Year's Eve, you must not be away even for a minute.

No problem. Don't worry.

Why is it you again?

Lord Xu has ordered me to watch over Miss Yun Zhu here.

No way! Does Xu You Zheng fancy Yun Zhu?

Let me ask you. Did Lord Xu and Yunzhu know each for a long time?

How could I possibly tell you if they knew one another?

And how could I possibly tell you how good Lord Xu treats Miss Yun Zhu?

This Ah Wu, while saying he won't tell, he has revealed it all.

So Xu You Zheng really likes Yun Zhu?

Move aside. I want to see Yun Zhu.

Pass the things to me. You can leave.

Are you trying to stop me? I have been ordered by your Lord Xu

to visit Yun Zhu more often.

Xiao Jia, is that you?

Yun Zhu.

If you are not satisfied with anything, go see Xu You Zheng.

You!

Yun Zhu.

I haven't seen you for a long time.

I caught a cold a while ago and I've been taking medication.

I was afraid of infecting you that's why I didn't come to see you.

Did you fall sick? Are you feeling better?

I'm much better. Look. Since it's new year's eve,

I brought you some presents. Let's go inside.

Alright.

Xiao Jia, have you lost weight recently?

Tell me the truth. What happened to your eyes?

Maybe it's because I did too much embroidery some time ago?

I have a bit of trouble seeing things at night.

Could it be night blindness?

Don't worry, I will certainly be fine after a while.

Let me take your pulse.

Strange, how come Yunzhu can't see things either?

Is this a non-player character setting?

Xiao Yun's brother specifically made a character just like Xiao Yun?

Xiao Jia? I'm sure I'll be fine.

I just did too much embroidery.

Then I will go to the Medicine Department to get some medicine for you some time later. You have to eat it properly.

I brought you preserved licorice plums that I've made myself as a present for you.

Alright.

Teacher, please teach me how to administer the walnut acupuncture-moxibustion therapy.

Teacher...

You are not skilled in ordinary acupuncture-moxibustion techniques,

and you still want to learn the walnut acupuncture-moxibustion therapy?

Teacher, I have a friend who has an eye problem.

I want to let her try the walnut acupuncture-moxibustion therapy.

Teacher.

Teacher, why don't you teach me first?

I'll learn that first.

If you insist, I won't stop you.

Just follow this prescription and try. If you have any questions, come back to me

Thank you, Teacher.

Hey, don't forget the New Year's Eve banquet.

Yes. I'm leaving.

Look at you.

The lanterns for today's New Year's Eve banquet are very unique.

I'm here.

Xiao Jia, what took you so long?

It's cool and windy today. Did you wear more clothes?

Yes, I did. You previously asked Eleventh Brother to send me that what...

The heating pad. I have it under my clothes.

Crown Princess, come over here.

Come to my side.

You are now the most important person in our palace. We have to be careful.

Congratulations to Empress Dowager, you will be a great-grandmother soon.

Yes, I only hope that

the child will be born safely.

The Crown Prince and the Crown Princess have a good relationship

and will soon have a small baby.

I'm so envious.

When will my Yao Er also give me a grandchild?

I will be content enough with that.

I don't have to worry since you're taking care of Yao Er.

I heard you've been looking for a partner for Yao Er.

Ling Wei, the daughter of General Li's family, is not bad.

She is modest and courteous, and her looks are gentle and graceful.

- The right match for Yao Er. - Is she the second daughter of General Li?

- Yes. - Did his eldest daughter

die some years ago?

I heard that she had an accident. It's a pity.

That's why I feel more sorry for Ling Wei.

I think Yao Er and Ling Wei are a good match.

This is why I asked Yao Er to see her.

Grandmother, Mother, I will leave to take a seat.

You may leave.

Empress Dowager, please take your seat first.

Alright.

The grandsons are here to greet Grandmother and Mother.

Grandmother, please take a seat.

All of you should be seated too.

Got it.

How nice it would be if the favorable impression score of those two were switched?

The Emperor has arrived.

Greetings to Father.

Everyone feel free, no need to be formal.

Be seated.

You're smiling?

Xiao Jia, is Fourth Brother trying to please you?

Who knows?

Fourth Brother treats you really special.

That day he carried you back to the palace like crazy

and wouldn't let anyone interfere. He even punched Second Brother.

Not only that, but he secretly took care of you,

thinking no one would notice.

Your Ladyship, how do you know all these?

How can the minds of the younger brothers

be hidden from their own elder brother?

- Here. - Your Majesty, here's to you.

Second Brother.

-Eleven. -Fourth Brother.

-Here. -Here.

Hui, are you tired?

I'm a little tired.

Would you like to return early to rest?

Sure. In that case I will return to the palace first.

Xiao Jia. It's not common that you get a few days of rest.

Go relax and have some fun.

You don't have to accompany me.

Thank you, Your Highness.

Your Highness, please.

Second, Four, and Eleven, come.

Let's toast to our Father.

Wishing Father, Mother, and Grandmother,

best of luck

and best of health.

May the country be peaceful and last for thousands of generations.

Here.

Please rise. Go enjoy yourselves.

I will return to the Palace first.

Farewell, Father, Mother, and Grandmother.

Farewell, Your Majesty.

Who prepared this reunion dinner?

These fireworks are so beautiful.

As long as you like it.

So it was big brother.

On such a nice occasion, with nice view,

and good food, and my three brothers' company.

I am blessed.

Should we have a drink?

Serve the drinks.

Refill your wine cups.

Wishing brother a speedy recover, and long live my brother.

Wishing second brother everything you wish for will come true.

Wishing fourth brother happiness and free of worries.

In that case,

wishing Eleven,

an everlasting innocence.

That's not enough. Let's have another cup.

Second, Four, let's cheers.

This is what brotherly love should be like.

Seems like this game focuses on family relationships too.

Unknowingly, I've been in this game for so long too.

I'm actually growing attached.

Maybe it's time for me to put down my obsession with the like meter

and have a good life here.

That way, I might have more to reap.

Brothers, I have something on.

I shall take my leave.

Lass.

Fourth Prince.

Why are you here?

Why is Your Highness here then?

I drank too much so I came out for a breather.

Your Highness is looking for that lady called Lu Ren Jia

that's why you left in such a rush.

Why do you always have to mention that lass?

Lass?

What an intimate nickname.

Your Highness cares about her so much,

but you still don't know what kind of person she is, right?

I saw her being very close to Xu

on the reunion. Can't you see

what kind of person she is?

She first gets close to Xu You Zheng,

then allure the Crown Prince for protection.

On top of that, she helps Second Prince with harming Crown Prince.

She's a double undercover.

Does she deserve your care?

Xin'er. I know very well

who's the person who wants to harm Crown Prince.

That's only because I saw Your Highness being too deadly attracted by her.

I can't bear to watch you sink deeper into her trap.

She first seduces Your Highness,

then the Second Prince, and the Crown Prince.

A woman like her is but a serpent.

Can you wake up, Your Highness?

How dare you!

Lass is not like what you said.

She's innocent and kind.

I think you're the one who's blinded by hatred.

I said, I will help with Yu's Political Rehabilitation.

Why are you still poisoning the Crown Prince secretly?

Do you have any idea, that that is my brother?

But Your Highness, your brother is in cahoots with Xu You Zheng.

We found the evidence regarding Xu You Zheng at Crown Prince's Wen Yuan Court.

Who told you that?

Consort Dowager Xu

is Xu You Zheng's niece.

Who would believe that they have nothing to do with each other?

Your Highness, you don't have to help me.

But when the truth sees the day of light,

I will make Xu You Zheng

pay the price for everything she's done.

This thing is not as simple as you think. You need to play for the long term.

Plan for the long term?

From the day Your Highness sent Lu Ren Jia artificial flowers, I knew

that I could only count on myself for Yu's revenge.

What does me sending lass artificial flowers have anything to do with Yu's Political Rehabilitation?

I have promised my teacher to help Yu with their political rehabilitation.

I have also promised him to protect you

and Kang. No matter what my relationship with Lass is,

it has nothing to do with the Yu family.

In that case,

I shall take my leave.

Xin'er. Stop dragging the innocent into this.

Innocent? What do you mean innocent.

I'm not innocent?

All the lives Yu family has lost are not innocent?

For your brother,

for Lu Ren Jia,

you're going to give up on memorial and not care about Yu family anymore?

Xin'er. Xin'er!

Zhao Chen Yi.

Apologies,

Lass. For how I treated you.

I'm a prince that doesn't get attention.

Father doesn't care about me,

and I don't have Queen Mother's protection.

Neither do I have royal family to help me.

I only have a teacher

that cares for and teaches me. Yet his family got murdered by Xu You Zheng.

After that, I became a playboy,

wasting my life, waiting for the right time,

until you came into my life,

and broke the peaceful life I had.

I never thought, the feud between Xu You Zheng and me

would implicate you. That's why I–

That's why you refused to bring me to the Martial Arts Meet.

That's why you ignored my confession for you,

and pushed me to Crown Prince.

That's why when you got so badly injured you were going to die

you still rejected seeing me.

Lass, I will protect you well in the future.

I will do everything I can to take care of you.

I won't let anyone hurt you.

After I help my teacher with the rehabilitation, I will put in a request to be stationed somewhere far,

and the two of us can live a peaceful life.

No matter what, I am willing to believe

in your true feelings once again.
