Why would we think that -- that Taylor would shoot anyone,

even Spencer?

>> Brooke: [ Scoffs ] Taylors been kind of out of it

the last few years -- harmlessly eccentric.

But then shooting Bill -- that elevates it to a whole new

level.

Shes not just wacky.

Shes dangerous.

>> Steffy: So, youre enjoying your time here?

>> Reese: I love it.

I love this.

I love the water, the sun, the whole thing.

>> Zoe: Xander.

>> Zoe: This feels familiar.

You know, you and me just stealing a moment.

Liam is Kellys father.

Hes also Wyatts brother.

Liams very present in Kellys life, but our marriage is over.

Steffy and Liam should still be together, and they would be if

it werent for outside interference.

>> Steffy: Mom, can we not do this?

Steffy and Hope, Liams new wife, have been rivals for

years, just like Hopes mother and me.

The apple didnt fall far from that tree.

Hope waited around for problems in Steffys marriage, and as

soon as those problems started happening, she pounced.

>> Wyatt: Come on, okay?

Thats not exactly true, Taylor.

>> Steffy: Yeah. Lets not bore everyone with our, uh --

with the story, okay?

>> Reese: Im not bored.

>> Taylor: Im just saying that picture represents the life that

you and Liam should be sharing together with your daughter.

I understand a parents love for the child.

Its the same thing I feel for Zoe.

saying that shes dangerous, that theres something wrong

with her?

>> Brooke: Yes. Taylor was upset with Bill about Steffy, but it

wasnt all Bill!

Steffy made a choice that night, too.

>> Ridge: Yeah, she made a choice!

She chose to be alone!

And Bill wouldnt let her have that because he is a predator!

He is the one thats dangerous!

>> Brooke: Thats not what Steffy says.

Steffys life is destroyed.

My strong, powerful, beautiful daughter had nothing left but

just tears.

All she could do was cry...

and ask Liam for forgiveness over and over again.

When he finally gave it to her, Bill didnt want that, either.

When I think about what that man has done to my daughter, how

hes hurt her over and over again, what do you want me

to do?

>> Brooke: Oh, my God!

It sounds like you dont blame Taylor at all!

>> Ridge: How can I blame Taylor...

>> Reese: You probably dont remember, but weve met already.

>> Reese: Im transferring to L.A. for a while.

Im also gonna put in some time at a clinic in Catalina.

>> Taylor: Well, you must be happy to have your father

around.

[ Laughs ] >> Zoe: Yeah. Its...great.

>> Taylor: So, uh...

is this home for you?

I noticed you dont have the British accent.

>> Zoe: Oh, my moms the Brit.

>> Reese: We were divorced when Zoe was very little.

>> Steffy: Everyone?

I just want to thank all of you on your hard work for the

Intimates line.

Tonight were really celebrating you.

The success of our line is because you guys made it

possible, and Im really grateful for each and every one

of you.

And you, Mom.

Thank you for just loving me and supporting me, showing me what a

kind heart really looks like, and teaching me how to be a

mother to Kelly.

Until I had a child of my own, I-I didnt realize what a

selfless act parenting is.

Anyways, Im just really happy that you guys are here, and Im

really happy that youre in my life, so just enjoy.

I think you give me too much credit.

Most people arent.

But Taylor?

She shot Bill on impulse -- shot him in the back.

Thats crazy.

We cant just ignore it.

We cant sweep it under the rug, because that will give her

permission to do something worse next time.

>> Ridge: What do you think, shes -- shes some gun-carrying

killer walking around?

The thing that triggered Taylor was Spencer ruining her

daughters life!

>> Brooke: Ridge, she has been erratic for months, and its

only getting worse.

She gets in my face, and she screams and yells and --

But you know what?

Im used to it.

But now shes doing it to my pregnant daughter.

>> Ridge: All right.

She can be a little high-strung.

>> Brooke: High-strung?

Its more serious than that.

And now shes here in L.A., spending time with Kelly.

me dangling out there all on my own.

Im so used to having a crew.

Im trying to rise above it all, being a good mother and a good

grandmother.

>> Reese: No one needs to tell me that youre wonderful.

Look at Steffy.

She is an amazing woman.

You obviously were a sterling role model.

And add "accomplished, successful doctor."

I understand the passion and dedication that takes.

Do you ever miss practicing?

>> Taylor: Oh, very much.

>> Reese: Well, why dont you get back to it?

>> Taylor: Well, Ive had some issues.

>> Reese: Financial?

>> Taylor: Oh, no. [ Chuckles ] Thank goodness, money has never

been a problem.

have you noticed I havent had anything to drink?

>> Reese: Uh...

>> Taylor: Yeah. I, uh -- I battled alcohol in the past.

And other demons.

A blond one in particular by the name of Brooke.

>> Reese: Whos Brooke?

>> Taylor: Oh, I really dont think you want me to answer that

question.

Really? Okay. Well...

long story short, Brooke is my nemesis.

She has been for decades.

She stole my husband from me over and over again and deprived

my children of their family.

And now history is repeating itself with her daughter, Hope.

>> Reese: Oh, this is the same Hope thats married to Steffys

ex-husband?

>> Taylor: Yes, thats the one.

Its just really -- Its so upsetting when I see

Steffy going through the same thing with Hope as I went

through with her mother...

because I know the pain, the bashing to her self-confidence.

I didnt want to see Steffy go through that.

And now Brooke is reinserting herself into my life and telling

me that I should stay away from my own granddaughter?

>> Reese: This woman is trying to keep you from seeing your own

granddaughter?

>> Taylor: Thats our Brooke.

[ Chuckles ] Im so sorry.

I-I didnt mean to dump all this on you.

>> Reese: No, no. Im -- Im happy that you can be open

with me.

>> Taylor: I dont know.

Theres just something about you thats so easy for me to trust.

>> Brooke: Please believe me.

Despite our history, it is not my intention to hurt Taylor.

I just want to protect Kelly, putting your sweet, innocent

granddaughter first.

>> Ridge: By keeping her away from her grandmother.

>> Brooke: [ Sighs ] I would never even suggest it if

she didnt shoot Bill.

>> Ridge: She snapped...

for reasons I think some people might find understandable.

>> Brooke: [ Gasps ] Understandable?!

Its not really understandable to shoot somebody in the back!

And what if she snaps again?

Whos -- Whos she gonna hurt?

>> Ridge: I know you think youre trying to protect Kelly.

I think youre trying to do that.

But Taylor...

shes not dangerous.

Youre overreacting.

>> Brooke: Oh, God.

>> Ridge: She -- Shes just -- She is being pushed by a very

dangerous man.

Think about it.

Think about what you would do if somebody took advantage of Hope,

as a mother, just like Taylor.

See if you can find some understanding.

>> Brooke: Okay.

Its not that I dont have empathy.

Im just really frightened.

I mean, what if something happens?

What if Taylor snaps again and she acts on impulse?

Then what?

>> Ridge: I respect your opinion because I love you.

But I completely disagree with you.

>> Brooke: Great.

[ Sighs ] Well, you know what?

Thats okay.

Cause whatever happens outside those doors, that happens.

And we always get to love each other, right?

>> Ridge: Yeah.

>> Brooke: And I love you no matter what.

And you love me, too.

Youre not gonna leave me.

>> Ridge: Im not leaving.

>> Brooke: [ Laughing ] No.

>> Ridge: [ Sighs ] Theyve thrown a lot of

obstacles at us.

And I dont want Taylor coming between us now.

>> Brooke: Oh, I dont want that, either, Ridge.

>> Ridge: Okay.

Spencer said hes not gonna say anything, that hes gonna keep

everything to himself, and I think we should do the same.

For Steffy...

for Thomas, and for the family.

Will you do that for me?
