Jovana!

Look!

What if I ran outside like this?

I'd kill you.

Our father who are in heaven...

I'll give birth to your son.

Who are these people?

Untie him.

Put it up there.

Bring that stone.

Put it there.

Get him there.

Lead him.

Lead him.

Tie the noose.

Give me that stone.

Give me the stone.

What happened?

I don't know.

Is that you?

Yes, it's me.

Did you bring Pasha's head?

I will, I will...

Oh dear God...

Sister!

Where are you going?

Go back.

Daughter in law...

give us something to drink.

Come on...

Give them.

She must be a living fire.

We could in the meantime...

I'd play her...

All of this doesn't mean anything if you don't give us this sweet

at least for some time.

Come, come...

You know...

I'd like just a little.

Just not to forget how it looks like.

You know what the girl likes.

Come, come.

Look...

Do you have the money ready?

What money?

What what money?

You won't let people go with empty pockets?

I don't have any.

- What... - I'm a poor man.

And money from lime?

Who needs my lime?

Come sweety to show me!

I'll kill you if you move!

Run Dragoljub! Here they come!

Wait for me! Wait!

How am I going to build now?

I know for a place where there are better stones.

Don't open.

Who is it?

Did a man with sheep and white beard pass here?

I don't know.

My Jakov wants to know everything.

My wife is the devil.

Who are you looking for?

You.

Me?

You.

What is this?

I won't go any further.

You do what you want.

Let me.

Come with me.

My wife is stubborn,

but she's got good soul.

What was that Luka?

I don't know.

Oh dear...

if it was good for them, it's good for us too.

They are ours.

Take off his pants.

I can guarantee you he doesn't lack anything.

Go away!

I don't want to.

Then stay.

I don't want to stay.

What are we going to do?

It's nice here.

Don't be afraid Jakov.

Just be brave Jakov.

Look.

Each has its pair.

It builds itself.

Lets go away from here.

Where would you find stones like this?

And all of mine family are buried here.

They are coming to us!

Take a look at yourself!

Wash your face!

God help you.

Welcome.

How much lime stone is there?

More than 20 rounds, sir.

Leave it all for me.

I chose each by hand.

Are you making a new palace?

No. A chruch and a chapel.

I apologize, this is my wife.

You've got beautiful wife.

Jovana, do you see...

how far is heard for my limestones.

Do you know who buys it?

Do you know who's Maksim?

I know.

He's got 9 sons!

I know, he's got 10 houses and 8 sheepfolds.

I know, he's got a lady of wife.

I know I'm nothing and nobody.

I'm hungry.

Eat with us.

Take it.

Where are you headed to?

I paint icons.

But churches are seldom built.

What is it?

Tell him to go.

What did he do to you?

Nothing.

Sister...

Give me some water.

Are you from St Petka's?

No, from Glogov Potok.

How is it there?

We serve the Lord.

How did you become a nun?

I renounced the world.

- Do you have a confessionary? - We do.

Can I go to him?

Come with me.

Don't be afraid.

That's me.

No.

That's Holy Mary.

What did the dead do to them?

- They'll destroy ours. - Why ours?

My father didn't do anything.

Stop it! My father was a good man!

It all depends.

No!

I'll fuck your mother.

Where's Luka?

In the mountains.

That early?

You look at me strangely.

You look...

like you just...

got picked.

Take the coffee.

One stone never seemed to fit in.

I had to rebuild everything.

Is it good now?

A wonder.

Why don't you call Petar to help you out?

I don't want to wake him up.

What do you want from us?

Somewhere around here my brother disappeared.

I'm afraid he's dead.

I heard alot...

about you.

Don't you know you're more beautiful then they say?

I don't.

Kill him.

Who?

Petar.

I don't like that man.

Good. Let us build him in.

Cheers.

I knew it.

What?

It.

Was he alone?

All girls loved him.

Except one.

He's got your eyes.

On his father.

Good night.

???

I have, I have.

So nobody sees us.

They won't, they won't.

Your hands...

Lets run, Jovana.

Where are you runing?!

Come back!

Bury the scum!

Get the stones!

People...

Shut it!

Call upon the Lord to smother these infidels!

Hold onto the ways of the Lord.

And do not desecrate this temple of Lord.

Don't listen to the infidels, they don't know what they're doing.

You'll see now.

Take it.

You helped me a lot.

With what?

To sin.

Come.

Is that you Jovana?

I don't know.

Where did you bring me Luka?

Open up.

Open!

Come, little bird.

What did you do?

You don't know?

And you? Dig it out.

- I won't. . You won't?

What's up? Why did you get so serious?

Dig it out!

I want to pay you and then you should leave.

You don't owe me money.

And I'll leave when I want.

Keep away from my house.

When I finish...

Mine.

Our.

Our?!

It's better not to meet again.

What kept you so long?

Petar is in the cave.

What cave?

Run, he'll kill you.

What's up?

What is it?

Look what I made for you.

Come with me.

Where to?

There.

Is that you my son?

Yes, it's me.

I recognized you right away.

Yes, you did.

???

Yes, yes.

???

I will, I will.

???

And my limestone?

Wait!

- What to do with lime, Maksim? - Leave it, Luka.

I don't need it anymore.

Do you what lime I make?

What limestone, rubbish.

- You don't know what lime is. - What is it?

- Luka, leave them. - What what is it?

This one is crazy.

Lime binds the stones. Binds the walls.

- Is there anything whiter than lime? . Go away, apparition.

Are you the Devil?

Don't be afraid.

Look how beautiful she is.

That's the Devil.

God send you to save the souls of these unfortunate people.

Why you won't with me?

You'd have everything.

And you sit...

Be quiet, it's alright.

They could destroy my limestones.

Jovana, don't touch it.

You bitch...

Now I know that you killed my brother.

What brother?

Do what you want...

just tell where is he.

What are you talking about?

Let me go...

Let me go, Petar.

He'll kill you.

Listen...

I'm guilty for my brother's death.

Just tell me where is he.

I want to sleep peacefully.

Run away from here.

Come with me.

You'll live like a princess.

Move away from limestones.

Give it to me.

I'm asking nicely...

...wether you want it or not. - I won't.

Don't touch this.

Don't worry.

Give it, give it.

Who allowed you that?

Tie her down. And her unfortunate one as well.

Let see what we did.

Look at it. It's so beautiful.

Do you see Luka that nobody passes around here anymore.

Why nobody comes?

I don't know.

What to do now?

Limestone is ruined.

Is that you priest?

No.

I'm not.

My name's Jovana.

Jovana who?

Luka's Jovana.

We're going to die...

??

Let Lord keeps us safe.
