We'll definitely get caught,

if we escape following that route.

I've tried.

Who are you?

I'm Tuoli.

I was kidnapped here,

like you were.

Lee is on mission today.

He told me to protect you,

and give you these.

These fruits

were bought a moment ago.

Little boy,

your job is buying fruits?

No "little".

I'm 13.

Boy,

did you buy these fruits?

No, I didn't.

There are trucks used for buying them.

Lee told me to pick the freshest ones for you.

Where are the trucks?

No one can escape from here.

Sis, I suggest you just stay here.

Pal, do me a favor.

I'm busy.

Come on, please.

Okay, okay.

Thanks.

We'll do an overall inspection today.

Open the door. Check the trucks.

- Come on, open it. - Hurry up.

Open the door.

Let's do the check.

You are quite relaxed, uh?

- Open your eyes. - Get off.

Okay,okay,okay.

Hurry up.

Hurry up.

It's open. It's open.

Check the next immediately.

Yes, sir.

I told you it's not gonna work.

Come out, now.

You two, hurry up.

Hurry up.

Okay, okay, okay.

They check every truck passing by.

Check over there.

Hurry up.

Coming, coming.

Stop dawdling, hurry up.

Sis,

your... your hand...

Don't move.

A worm.

=Mysterious Love= (All the parting is for better meeting)

=Episode 14=

He did not lie to you.

I'm back.

I'm back.

Xia Fei.

Xia Fei, you're back.

Xia.

Look,

I brought you your favorite Baby's Breath.

Xia.

Xia, you're back.

Hurry up, hurry up.

- Xia, you're back. - Give me the sedative.

Come on, come on.

Put her down.

Okay.

Put her down.

Take her away.

Hurry up, hurry up.

Be careful.

It seemed He Lihua got some mental stimulation,

or remembered something all of a sudden.

She's fine now.

We'll reinforce ward management.

We won't let her run out anymore.

Doctor,

do you know the boy

who saved her upstairs?

He's probably

the new nursing assistant.

What's his name?

I don't remember. He barely talks to us.

Thank you.

I'll show myself out, then.

Thank you.

Do you think

the boy upstairs looks familiar?

I knew him,

so did you.

Nianchu.

It's really you guys.

Tuoli?

I never thought I would see you again.

Why did you come to the Yun City?

I left there

after the explosion.

I went to medical school.

Now I get a chance to come here for my internship.

Nianchu

used to talk about

how beautiful here is,

so I want to take a look.

Are you 18 now?

I'll be 19 next month.

Still 18, then.

Still a little boy.

According to Chinese tradition,

I'm already 19 by lunar calendar.

Time flies.

I remember at that time,

I called you little boy and you were very upset.

Now you've grown up.

I was shorter than boys at my age.

No one in the village

wanted to be my friend.

Nianchu,

you're my first friend.

Your first friend

is Li Teng.

Yes.

Lee,

why are you in the Yun City?

To be with her.

Here you are.

You sure you don't need a lift?

No, I'm good.

I'll walk back to the hospital.

Okay.

We have to go, then.

Bye, Nianchu.

Bye, Lee.

What's wrong?

You're weird today.

Am I?

Why did you show off our love to Tuoli?

I've always been doing that.

No, you haven't.

It's not what you usually do.

He has a crush on you.

Don't you remember?

You were bitten by the worm.

You mustn't scratch, okay?

In case other parts of your skin are infected.

Be good!

Put up with it for a few days and you'll be fine.

Tuoli,

thanks for today.

But

I got you in trouble.

So... are you gonna run again?

Why?

You don't want me to leave

because Lee asks you to keep an eye on me?

Why is that, then?

Because I want to marry you.

You little naughty boy.

I mean it.

You are too young to marry me.

Don't worry. I'll protect you.

How?

Use this.

I'm not a little boy.

You still remember that?

Come on.

That was just a joke from a little kid.

You've taken it seriously?

Ruan Nianchu,

he's not a kid anymore.

Anyway,

he was and will always be

a little boy to us.

I don't care about anything else.

But Ruan Nianchu,

I'm telling you,

stay away from him.

You're a grown man.

You watch Tuoli grow up.

I can't believe you're jealous of him.

No.

Five years.

Too much can be changed in five years.

You know what?

What you're doing now...

- ... is childish. - Yes.

I am childish.

Is it so coincident?

The assistant who saved Mrs. Xia is Tuoli?

Li,

you're really in a complicated relationship.

I've heard you're seeing Miss Qiao.

Yes.

This is your first time falling in love

for so many years.

Take your chance.

Li,

I just...

I don't know how to tell her about Xingxing.

In a relationship

you can never keep a secret,

nor sacrifice oneself.

You have to tell her all about it,

if you want to be with her.

Did Nianchu

teach you these?

Did you hand in your report?

Right away.

Right away.

(Class of Life Aesthetics)

(Class of Life Aesthetics) Nianchu.

Shitou,

he's my friend.

What are you doing here?

Nianchu.

I come here to ask you for a favor.

Don't be rude. Call me sister.

How can I help?

It's a straycat I saved

outside the hospital.

It was hit by a car.

I took it to a pet clinic.

And the vet sewed up its wound.

It's out of danger now.

And?

It has been discharged from hospital,

but you know,

I live in the nursing assistant apartment,

so I can't adopt it.

So you are saying

you want me to help you adopt it.

I've bought everything it may need.

Here they are.

Okay.

Sweety.

Nowadays,

it's not only hard for people to survive,

but also for cats.

It's unbelievable such a cute cat is homeless.

Don't worry.

I'll treat you well.

You'll not be homeless anymore.

Okay?

Nianchu, where do you live?

Let me call you a cab.

Li Teng's gonna pick me up after work.

How about we having dinner together?

Lee will be upset

seeing me.

Actually I've always wanted to ask you.

What's going on between you guys?

I have no idea.

No idea?

Maybe,

Lee has a misunderstanding of me,

or I have a misunderstanding of him.

What do you mean?

What misunderstanding do you have of him?

I mean,

maybe Tuoli,

is never important to him.

At that time,

boss,

Tuva,

Washa,

and I,

were only chessmen in his action plan.

God knows what I am to him?

Tuoli,

you're over thinking.

Li Teng

has always been taking you like his own brother.

The man who has always been taking me like his own brother

is Lee.

Pathetically, however,

Lee doesn't exist anymore.

Lee is Li Teng.

Maybe.

Nianchu, Li's here.

I'll leave, then.

Kitty.

How did you get this cat?

What?

President Li Teng's afraid of a cat?

No, Ruan Nianchu,

don't you think you should tell me first

before keeping a cat?

I can't tell you first.

Tuoli found it near the hospital.

He can't keep it in the apartment,

so he asked me keep it.

Ruan Nianchu,

I'm okay with you keeping a cat or a dog,

and I can give you

anything you want.

But this cat...

No.

Why not?

Why not? Don't you have any idea?

It's just a straycat.

Be sympathetic, please!

I'm not sympathetic but he is?

I'm cruel but he's kind?

What the hell? What's going on between you and Tuoli?

What makes you dislike him so much?

I'm gonna take the cat back to the hospital,

and let the one who has mercy to keep it.

What if I say

this is the first thing I'm asking you to say yes?

My promise will only be kept to you.

Show me another pose.

Okay.

That's good.

Wow, my shooting skills are getting better, see?

Xingxing's gonna love this one.

Yufei,

I've got something to tell you.

What's wrong?

You're not going to break up with me so fast, are you?

Actually...

Aunt Yufei.

- Come on, play with me. - Coming.

You go up there first,

and I'll take photos for you.

Be careful. Be careful.

Stand in front of the hole.

Okay.

Another pose.

Where are you gonna settle it in?

In the living room, I think.

The bed and the bowl...

Put them here.

Put the cat litters over there.

You sure?

Kitty,

here is your home from now on.

We're gonna take very good care of you.

Don't count me in.

Kitty,

let me introduce him to you.

This

is Li Teng.

You see he's very tall,

but he's very narrow minded.

What did you say?

I was introducing you,

saying you're handsome.

But

we can't just call it kitty.

Let me see.

Jealous Li.

Jealous Li. Jealous...

No, change it.

Why not?

No, it's a bad name.

Are you still angry?

No, I dare not.

You dare not?

You think there's something between Tuoli and me

just because of a cat.

How many times I've told you?

I just take him as my brother.

Would you please stop being so suspicious?

Would you please stop being so naive?

Why am I being naive?

You take him as your brother,

but he doesn't take you as his sister.

If he doesn't take me as his sister, then what does he treat me?

What did you draw?

Nothing.

You like Ruan Nianchu, don't you?

I'm here to remind you that

she'll leave one day.

I can go to find her,

if she leaves.

What happened here

is just a dream to her.

A dream

will not last.

I never thought

Tuoli would have this strange feeling for me.

I'll talk to him.

Is it necessary?

If some one has to do it, it should be me.

But what are you gonna talk to him?

Talking is unnecessary,

if a fist is useful.

I think I should go.

I'll tell him

to take me just as a sister.

Can you take me as your brother,

if I ask you so?

Such an old brother

should be my uncle.

How dare you?

Say that again.

I'm sorry.

- Say that again. Say it. - I'm sorry. I'm sorry.

What are you doing?

Go to bed.

I haven't eat anything yet.

Eat after sleep.

I'm starving.

I'll take her inside.

Thank you for today.

Why have you been so weird today?

Is there something you want to tell me?

Do you want to

tell me about your ex-wife?

I've been hiding from you before,

- because... - I know.

It's because of Xingxing.

But look, everything's good now.

Xingxing has accepted me,

and I think she's very adorable.

So I'm happy to be her step-mother.

Xingxing is not my biological daughter.

She doesn't even know about that.

Her original name is Xia Xingxing.

She's my master Xia's daughter.

Before she was one month old,

something happened to my master.

Mrs. Xia couldn't take it,

so she got mental problems,

and was sent to mental hospital.

But some one has to take care of Xingxing.

So

I got married with Mrs. Xia.

It's the only way I can...

I can raise Xingxing up

in a legal way.

Mrs. Xia's condition has been unstable these years.

The doctor said it would be long way to go.

So,

things will be like this

before Xingxing is 18.

You and I...

Before everything's too late, if you think...

you can't accept it... I...

- or... - I can accept it.

I can wait until Xingxing is 18.

Marriage is only a piece of paper,

anyway.

All I want is you're here with me.

I love you.

I love you, too.
