And you?

Forget everything here after you leave.

Lee...

Lee...

(Three years ago)

(Three years ago) Still the same dream, right?

It's been over three years...

You always dream of the same place.

Yes.

More than three years...

I can't imagine whether he's alive or not.

Nianchu,

I've never been through things like that,

but I understand how you feel right now.

That dreaming of the past,

and feeling sad continuously.

These are all quite normal.

They are typical symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder.

Well,

is there any way to get over it?

(Entrance of the clinic)

How was it? What did the therapist say?

She asked me

to visit the places of the past.

No problem.

When would you like to go back to Tai City?

I'll book the tickets for us. I'm going with you.

Nianchu,

are you okay?

Nianchu...

- What's wrong with you? - Sorry, my bad.

Lee.

Sorry, she took you for someone else.

=Mysterious Love= (All the parting is for better meeting)

=Episode 9=

Xia!

Xia!

(Xia Fei, 1982.6.27-2014.6.14)

Li.

You're back.

Yeah.

Where's Xia Fei?

Mrs. Xia,

he's carrying out a mission.

He'll be back soon.

Have some water.

Mrs. Xia,

Xia Fei is always on duty and doesn't have much time to be with you.

Are you mad with him?

Of course.

We fought a lot

over this matter.

It nearly stopped us from getting married.

However,

everyone has got their own fate.

And it is the fate

that brought Xia to me.

You're coming for that girl, are you?

That girl

is your own fate.

Li,

you can't run away with it.

When my child grows up,

Xia will be back.

Meeting him

is the best thing that happened in my life.

If you could start it all over again,

would you still choose him?

Yes.

What are you doing here?

I'm giving you a lift to work.

I've already called a cab.

This is for you.

For what?

I want you to be my girlfriend.

What's the matter with you?

I'm asking you seriously to become my girlfriend.

Well, next time before you make decision,

will you go ask my opinion first?

Take my opinion into consideration,

will you?

Like what?

Like...

Should I ask you before I kiss you?

You are impossible!

My car has arrived. Don't follow me.

So,

you love me!

Yes!

I love you too!

I can't go on like this.

Everyone!

I know the play, "Return under the Moon Over the Hill",

is hitting a bottle neck?

But I want to tell you,

today,

I've got us a helper!

Guozhi?

Nianchu, why are you here?

- Why are you... - Let me introduce him formally.

This is the famous art director,

Chen Guozhi!

Let's give him a warm welcome!

Welcome to Morninglight Troupe!

Nice to meet you. You can call me Guozhi.

I'm now the art director.

Have you ever heard of "Bian City Drama Festival?"

This time, Mr. Zhao and I

are going to lead the troupe,

and win the champion in the festival!

How wonderful!

Well, but we only have three days.

Have we got enough time?

We do.

We'll head for Bian City tomorrow,

and start the rehearsal as soon as possible.

I believe in our troupe,

Mr. Zhao and I will lead us forward.

And we will get the first place, okay?

We'll try our best.

Guys,

to show our welcome to Mr. Chen,

let's eat out at the Yuncui Hotel tonight.

It's on me.

Let's clock off now!

And Mr. Li,

are you going with us today?

My pleasure.

Okay.

Why the man I love the most

is the father of the girl I hate?

Love is a matter between the two of you.

Age is not a problem. Nothing stops true love.

I don't care for age.

That's good.

Love is something

that will reap what you sow.

If you have already figured this out,

stop caring about his age,

or the trouble of his daughter.

A lot of May-December Romance ends up well.

Whatever.

You don't understand.

Love needs mutual understanding.

If you love him,

you accept him as a whole.

What did you say?

You have to accept your lover as a whole.

His age, his appearance, and his daughter.

They're all parts of him.

You're right.

Why are you still leaving?

To deal with his daughter.

Mr. Chen, please...

Help yourself.

Thank you.

You're being generous, Mr. Zhao.

It's the best dinner I've ever had since I joined our group.

This is way better than how he treated Mr. Li.

Way better.

Mr. Chen.

It looks like a piece of plain salmon,

but it's the specialty of this place.

Really?

Let me try.

It's so good.

Let's propose a toast.

Wish us success,

under the leadership of Mr. Zhao and I,

shall we?

Thank you.

The first time I came here,

they welcomed me like this.

And then you came.

Now,

here comes some art director or what.

Nianchu,

how long have you been here?

Four years.

I saw your public performance several days ago, and it was fantastic.

- It's called... - Li Ke Chu Lian.

Li Ke Chu Lian.

And who is this?

He is the famous Li Teng,

founder of the Yuntai Group.

Mr. Li, thank you!

He has offered a lot of help

to our troupe.

Really?

Thank you for taking care of us.

No problem.

It's my pleasure to take care of Nianchu's troupe.

This is

my responsibility.

Are they alright?

They don't look like they get along.

What is this noise?

I'm in the bathroom.

Disgusting. I'm gonna hang up now.

Don't, please.

This is out of control.

What happened? Tell me.

Li Teng.

He's following me everywhere.

He's giving me flowers, and he doesn't allow me to talk to Chen Guozhi.

I can only hide in the bathroom to talk to you.

Chen Guozhi?

Chen Guozhi!

The one we went to college with.

He is now the art director of our troupe.

He's coming at the right time!

Aren't you going to test Li Teng?

You use him.

Do you know why you failed in your last relationship?

You're carried away by Li Teng!

This time,

you'll have to hold yourself up.

You gotta know,

people never cherish things that are easily being got.

Let's cut it out. My arm is getting tired.

We're going to Bian City to attend a show.

Are you coming?

Bian City?

Sounds far.

You can write your novel anywhere!

I am waiting at Jiang Hao's door step now.

I'm aiming at Jiang Xingxing.

Good job, Qiao Yufei,

men before friends.

Wish you good luck

with Jiang Xingxing!

You don't have to come with me. Goodbye.

I'm going with you.

Mr. Li,

please stop following me.

I want to focus on my work now.

I don't have time for you.

I support you and your career.

I got it! I got it!

Here, come.

My good girl.

(Li Teng)

Li.

I'm going to Bian City for the next days,

and you take care of Xingxing and the company.

But Xingxing wants to go with you.

Xingxing,

there might be a lot of trouble this time.

So stay at home and be good. Your daddy will be with you!

Li, what's wrong?

Nothing.

Let's have a talk tonight.

Sure.

I can't be daddy's burden.

Daddy has work to do.

And I won't bother him.

I've already packed up my things.

Just take me to Ms. Huang now.

I'll be good.

Li,

how about we have our bros to check the place first?

So we can be at ease.

Xingxing, you can come with us.

- I'm going with daddy! - I'm going with Xingxing!

Who is this?

It's you.

Miss Qiao.

Hello, Xingxing.

What's this...

I bought Xingxing some presents.

These are toys and snacks.

Check this! This is from Enchanted!

Save it. You can't buy me over.

This is a little token of me!

I'm not buying you over!

I'm going to Bian City with my daddy.

You don't have to waste your time here!

Xingxing,

it's not polite for you to speak like that.

Sorry, Miss Qiao.

Well,

can I ask several days leave from the work?

I have a kid.

It's okay. We can go together.

Morning,

Nianchu.

Morning, Guozhi.

Here's your breakfast.

- No, thanks. - Take it.

Everyone has got their share.

Well, thank you.

Leave it to me.

Thanks.

You get on first.

Morning, Mr. Zhao.

This is so good! Try this.

You, too.

I thought you're not coming.

I gave it a second thought,

and how can you be without me in this important moment!

Toxic friends, are they?

Xingxing!

I want to be friend with you too!

Have you read the new play script?

I did.

There's a line that makes me laugh!

Guozhi?

Nianchu,

what's your relationship with Li Teng?

We don't have any relationship.

I'm her boyfriend.

Mr. Li,

the show has started.

Ex-boyfriend. We don't have relationship now.

Everyone, this is Mr. Li of the Yuntai Cooperation.

He offered us this car.

Let's thank him for this.

Thank you, Mr. Li.

Guozhi, you have water with you?

Yeah, I'll go fetch it.

Thanks.

Excuse me.

Don't sit here.

You've been preparing to come with me, right?

Why didn't you tell me yesterday?

You got to be kidding me?

Bingo.

What on earth do you want?

Ruan Nianchu,

you had me missing you for all these years.

What do you think I want?

How fun it is to watch drama.

You want to sit here?

Don't peek!

Go away.

Don't peek !

Why can't I?

I tell you she's going to feel embarrassed!

Li, we have already checked the mansion in Bian City.

All clear.

There you go, Nianchu.

- Here's your water. - Thank you, Guozhi.

I'll sit next to you.

Let me help.

- Thanks. - There.

Listen carefully!

I'm going to drink it.

Fight! Fight!

Nianchu,

do you want to listen to a song?

Sure.

I want to listen!

- Guozhi, I'll tell you a joke. - Yes, please.

There is a white cat who fell into a pond.

And a black cat happened to walk by and saved her.

Guess what did the white cat say to the black one?

What?

Just guess.

I've no idea.

She said "Meow!"

- I'm sorry. - It's alright.

Thank you.

Never mind.

Well,

My hair!

Who do you think Nianchu likes?

What do you think?

No idea.

Look!

The mansion is amazing!

Mr. Zhao, you're so generous!

Daddy!

Did Mr. Zhao pay for this place?

You're making fun of me.

I don't have half of the money.

Everyone,

Mr. Chen has paid for this

with his own money!

Let's thank him!

- Thank you Mr. Chen! - No biggie.

Mr. Li paid for the car,

and Mr. Chen paid for the mansion.

They're really on this now.

No rules for love and war!

The triangle love show is on!

What will happen to our dear Nianchu!

Let's decide our rooms.

How exciting!

The two rooms in the back are double rooms.

These two rooms are for three people.

Decide the room for yourself.

Very well.

We four girls can share the double rooms.

Nianchu, you can stay with Shiqi.

It will be easier for you to rehearse.

I'll take care of Xingxing.

You decide the rest.

Xingxing needs bed time stories before sleep.

Can you take care of her?

Daddy, I can stay with auntie Qiao.

You're so sweet. Auntie Qiao will take good care of you.

We'll have to share rooms like this.

You can't mix girls with boys.

Here, Nianchu.

Thank you.

You decide the rest for yourselves.

Let's go, Xingxing.

Come on.

Alright, I'm heading for my room.

Mr. Zhao snores like thunder.

Only Gao Bo and I can stand it.

- Here's your key. - Have I been snoring?

Jiang Hao...

Have you ever heard me snoring?

Please take care of Li Teng.

It's only for a few days.

Don't let him make any fuss.

Well, why don't you tell him yourself.

Me?

Who am I to say this to him?

Why do I bother...

Whatever.

It's none of my business.

Give it to me.

Thanks.

Mr. Li and Mr. Chen are both paying a lot of attentions to you.

They are fighting for your love!

Gosh, isn't this dramatic?

It's a living soap opera!

Nianchu,

this is the hot tea from Mr. Chen.

And this is the icy water from Mr. Li!

Which one would you like to choose?

What are you talking about?

Mr. Li is nice,

but he makes me feel cold! You should not get too close to him.

But Mr. Chen is different!

He's warm, gentle and considerate!

He suits you better.

Are you...

Are you spilling tea behind me again?

How could we?

Here.

Why are you drinking hot tea in this weather?

Concentrate on our rehearsal.

We've only got three days ahead.

Got it.

I need some fresh air.

What do you mean, Mr. Li.

Don't you even think about leaving this room tonight.

Who do you think you are?

Nianchu is my girl.

Well,

I'm more interested

in Nianchu.
