We worked hard because we built Egypt.

This time is over. The big project is completed.

Today, we are asked to take care of our children.

For high levels of government, education has become the priority.

But Egyptians feel unable to provide for their children

values, education and the necessary perspectives.

Can we genuinely educate our children? I say no.

15 JANUARY 2011 ABDIN, CAIRO

Where were you, you moron?

The Parabola Repairer has poireauté 3 hours.

You had to wait for him.

I did not move the day, I swear.

These big companies, we can not trust them.

Saleh, I did not ask you to release Jerusalem.

You just had to open the door.

OK, sir.

OK? What does that mean, OK?

My cousin can fix that for you for almost anything.

Get out a genie from a lamp if you want, but get out of it.

Be careful.

It's long to open.

Look, Chief.

Here you put your interests.

You like to read, write, football...

Write it here.

And here you put your pictures.

Photos taken by you

or your friends posted on Facebook.

And here you have your friends.

All this is my friends.

Full of strangers, mostly girls.

Look at this one.

I will meet her.

Looks like a baby pink elephant.

I know.

She just like my picture.

- What? - She put a like.

We like the pictures of our friends and they like ours.

That means she likes my picture.

Come on, Casanova, at work.

What did you talk to Mr. Kammal about?

You're welcome.

Will I be able to come one day?

Let me go with that.

Good evening, Chief.

We win nothing anymore. Walid has allowed the Chinese to sell.

Do not tell us about your life. Where is our share?

- Business is bad. - Listen.

I want the money.

I'll tell the boss.

- Do you work with the Chinese? - Mr Kammal agrees.

Do you trade in my back?

Never, chief.

Start.

Chef!

Just a word.

They have no respect for us anymore.

Here now our supreme commander,

The President Mohammed Hosni Mubarak.

Thank you.

I congratulate the police

to have captured the terrorists

who perpetrated the bombing in Alexandria.

As we prepare to celebrate Police Day,

Egypt has suffered a new terrorist attack.

You have just heard the Minister of the Interior...

I sacrificed everything for you! You promised me !

Bastard!

Get out!

Get out! Bastard!

I notice the aggression.

Mr. prosecutor.

Mr. Kammal called me.

The scientist arrives?

They are still sleeping.

But...

he has confidence in you?

Who covered his face?

It's a professional job.

It's a crime of passion.

A girl so beautiful, it's inevitably passionate.

File.

Bring me a coffee.

Someone ordered mango and...

Over here.

Give.

Put that on the room.

Thank you. Leave us.

- What do you want? - I'm hungry.

I'm learning German.

Very ambitious.

Are you aiming for the medal of the biggest fool of the police?

That's it already.

Hi, bro. Where are you ?

What's new?

You have to take care of dad. I am tired.

I can not.

Scramble to be able to.

This is a request or an order?

- I have to leave. - Until when?

- Until I get back. - Are you kidding me?

Dad, I received money. If we went to the hospital?

For pity's sake, do not say that you have "received" money.

Be honest and admit

that you have "stolen" money.

As you want.

Dignity can not be bought, my son.

Goodbye.

Do you have Lalena CDs?

"Your love is not enough".

Illegal copy.

You are in the Solitaire Club.

If you are a dancer,

send us a full photo.

For any other request, leave us your details.

O you, lonely traveler

O you, lonely traveler

Who passes in front of me

Why do you leave me?

Why do you leave me

Alone with my regrets?

They have a house.

17 JANUARY 2011 QASR AL-NIL COMMISSARIAT

Do you ever have ironed shirts?

What is it?

Students who have dried?

They distributed leaflets to the college. They want to make the revolution.

Three days after the flight of the Tunisian president...

What do you think?

Rowing already,

and it lets the Chinese flood the market.

- Very patriotic. - Kiss my ass !

It galley enough.

Momo and I, we kill ourselves to control everything.

If you do not like it, we exchange our places.

Quiet, gentlemen.

You're not the only one here.

Exactly.

We sounded you?

I want to see the sharing again, but believe me,

you will lose.

It's me who decides sharing.

- Is it clear? - Of course.

- Mr. Kammal... - That's clear?

And you, move around.

If you report no more, we will have to reassess the situation.

Even in the brothel, Tunisia beats us at football.

It's a shame.

Forget the Hilton.

The prosecutor found a suicide.

Excuse me?

A suicide?

She slit herself?

Congratulations.

Do not stay here. If you do not buy, do not read.

I can not read, I look at the pictures.

Give me some laundry.

And chocolate.

Hi. Majok called?

No

The chocolate you like.

Can anyone read Arabic?

Clinton.

- And besides this asshole? - Little Mohammed.

"Shafiq Holding Group.

" Hatem Shafiq,

"Shafiq Holding CEO,

"and in the cement industry.

" We are building the future of Cairo... "

Which is Hamada Mansour?

They took him away.

Who wants to overthrow the president?

Do not want to say anything?

I'm getting impatient.

I want to see the game.

Childbirth.

Are you going to spit his name?

What is his name?

His name.

We are starting a major movement

reconstruction.

This is the first collaboration

between the public and private sectors.

The level of competitiveness achieved by Egypt

on the international market

gives him the means

to invest in its own infrastructure

at the level of the road network,

communications, agriculture and water...

Here, there will be the largest international school in Egypt.

I guarantee it,

in a few days, you will be proud of the result.

Excuse me for disturbing you, sir.

I have a question, if you allow me.

Do you know this woman?

Absolutely not.

May I ask you to look again?

Are you sure you've never seen it?

Remind me your name.

Commander Noureddine Mostafa.

Noureddine.

The police is supposed

protect honest people,

not bother them.

- The car is ready? - Yes sir.

Why are the police looking for you?

I do not know.

Do not you know?

I'm taking you home.

Stop!

Someone was killed

at the hotel.

A woman.

I saw the murderer.

I'll show you.

This is the man I saw.

I told him:

"$ 10,000 for the pilgrimage? It's flying!

"Are you trying to pluck a policeman? Egyptian, too?"

He said to me: "It's not expensive to find a pure soul

" like that of a baby. "

But it was worth them and I prayed for you.

= = God is exhorting you

We will leave you, leader.

Stay, Nour, I want to talk to you.

What?

You went to see Hatem Shafiq.

He is linked to the murdered singer.

I'm going to do as if I had not heard anything.

I did not tell you to let go of the case?

Si.

Nour, you're my nephew,

but a simple call from these people and I can not do anything for you.

He's a friend of the president's son.

Pay attention to yourself.

Shafiq agreed to meet me.

But...

it could be a trap.

I'm going to ask him a million.

A million?

- That's way too much. - Salwa...

Request 100,000

Small,

if someone gets killed, it will be me.

Do not you trust me?

I trust in person.

We will have to share the money between us three.

Okay.

No problem.

We do not have internet.

I just want Facebook.

It takes the internet.

- The internet is on Facebook? - No, the opposite.

What are you confusing me? Are you kidding me ?

No, sir.

Where are you going? Put me that damn Facebook.

I take care of it.

Gina, the Tunisian singer, is waiting for you.

Calm down.

Good evening.

My friend has disappeared.

I do not know where she is.

She had to find someone at Nile Hilton.

Since then, she has disappeared.

What is her name?

Lalena.

The singer?

She had to find who?

A friend.

Do you know something?

Your friend has been killed.

She had pictures.

Intimate photos.

I do not want anyone to see them.

How much do you want?

We do not have photos.

20 000.

That's all I have.

A young lady like you should not come here.

Your name and address, please.

It's good. The show is over

Sir.

Saleh.

Fadl repaired the parable, she walks nickel.

Finally!

But oddly, she captures that Italian channels.

What?

There are only Italian channels.

Italian, that's good.

It's your cousin?

Hello?

Who are you?

- Commander Noureddine? - Yes.

19 JANUARY 2011 KATAMEYA HEIGHTS

Sir.

Where are the toilets?

Open.

I was with her that night.

He kept the negatives.

He will charge me with murder if I do not pay.

He considered himself as his owner.

His agent,

Nagui the Tunisian.

You are a member of Parliament. You have immunity.

Not against the scandal.

The case has been closed.

I will reopen the investigation.

What do you expect from me?

When you came to question me, I could have broken you,

annihilate you.

I never asked for help to anyone,

but I need you.

I loved him.

And she loved me.

She wanted me to leave my wife.

She was going to recover the negatives.

How did you know her?

At the Solitaire Club.

Wearing gold is forbidden to men.

It is said that on the Day of Judgment, gold becomes burning iron.

But for some, gold is worth the punishment.

Where are the negatives, Amir?

A policeman took them.

A policeman?

Calm down, Nagui.

I tell you the truth.

I believe you, Amir.

Love one another, live in harmony.

You will all enter Paradise.

Each of you here has projects to achieve

and dedicates his life to it.

Even to you alone,

without all the Muslim people,

I swear by God that if you live for these projects...

I pay 180 pounds a day to rent the car.

Give them to me and I will put the meter.

The rotten who govern us tax us to death

and they get treatment abroad.

You can even more get cigarettes.

But for a gentleman like you...

Have you seen what they did to the young man in Alexandria?

These fuckers of cops beat him to death. You realize ?

Son of a bitch!

The smart guys who know it

on the internet

published the photo.

There will be a demonstration on January 25th.

Police Day, just that.

We will show these pigs what the people think of them.

I will go there.

And you, you will go?

Not the choice.

I am part of the pigs.

The people of Alexandria, they are all assholes and mythos.

This young person was necessarily a drug addict. Otherwise, it's not possible.

They would not have hit him for no reason.

Inspection. Open.

Welcome.

Hi, my beautiful.

Who is it?

Are you okay?

What an honor!

- What's up? - It's okay, as you see.

I'm going to sell this slum. They only have to make it a mosque.

What makes me happy?

Tell me, do you know a certain Nagui?

- The mac? - No, the artistic agent.

Artistic?

It makes work two girls who think they are artists.

They raise VIP and he takes pictures.

Clic-clac, they snap. Clic-clac, they shout.

It's his business. He uses an old device

and he shoves them off for the negatives.

Where can I find it?

He has a box, the Club I do not know what.

- The Solitaire Club? - That's it.

You see, you know everything.

- What do you want him? - I want to sing.

- Is there a way to have a drink? - You are here at home.

Do not worry, I will pay.

Congratulations, Chief.

Bravo!

Congratulations.

Goodbye.

What's that?

Congratulations, Colonel.

Colonel?

Go ahead, try it.

You are a genius and I am an idiot.

What did you get stuck on Shafiq?

The singer was his mistress and he fears the scandal.

He says his agent killed her.

Of course it's him.

The prosecutor will reopen the investigation,

he will drop 100,000 pounds.

We will share the rest. Nice money.

You can buy a Peugeot to replace your pile of sheet metal.

God willing.

I'm really proud of you.

Thanks to you, we treat directly with the VIP.

Soon, you'll be in this chair.

What gave what?

It's OK for a million.

Are you crazy? And if we followed you?

I told you to ask for 100,000. You will have to share with us. Including ?

- Good evening. - Welcome Sir.

O you, lonely traveler

O you, lonely traveler

Who passes in front of me

Why do you leave me?

"Colonel". I was promoted.

Your voice is superb.

I do not drink.

Come meet my friends.

No

Mido!

You were wonderful.

Thank you.

I introduce you Noureddine, my friend.

You are a lucky one.

Which branch are you in?

Well...

In the toilets.

It's the biggest manufacturer in the Middle East.

The toilet Noureddine, it does not tell you anything?

You have to necessarily

pee in, one day.

Tell them about the golden toilets you made for the president.

My darling, we avoid revealing the privacy of our customers.

Do you like the view?

I work tomorrow.

Did Lalena tell you about her relationship with a very influential man?

She said she was in love.

Do you know Nagui the Tunisian?

Come on.

Will wait for me upstairs.

We suspect a certain Nagui,

Nagui the Tunisian,

to have killed your friend.

What do you expect from me?

Do you want to put me in danger?

Are you in danger?

No

I do not know him.

Tell me,

why did you leave your country?

I just want to fulfill my dream.

I am an artist.

But people who have money

want to buy you and lock you in a golden cage.

Even if you have the key, you can not run away.

And you?

Your thing,

it's the money

or what?

Can I see you again?

Wissen.

Wissen ?

Wissen.

Okay. Wissen.

Wissen.

Did you see the time?

Salwa!

Salwa!

This is the font for you.

Salwa, get in there.

Wait.

I'll say you're not here.

Hurry up.

What's going on, Ali?

Reinforcements are sent to Arba Wa Nuss.

Apparently, one policeman killed two Sudanese.

The neighborhood chief and a girl.

- Are you kidding? - It's good, we manage.

Yes, Nour?

The maid was killed.

- That of the Hilton. - Are you sure?

It's my fault.

Do not worry. Do you want me to take care of it?

Not worth it.

I know where to find Nagui.

Call Ms. Gina.

She is not here.

I tell you to call him!

This is my bodyguard.

Nagui, get out of here!

Get out or I shoot!

Nagui!

Noureddine?

Calm down, Noureddine. You are angry ?

Advance.

Slowly.

Shut your mouth.

Who are you, asshole?

Colonel Noureddine Mostafa.

Colonel?

Yes.

Which police station?

Qasr al-Nil.

Qasr al-Nil of my two!

You are not in Qasr al-Nil.

This man is accused of murder.

With all due respect, colonel, here, it's me who decides

who is guilty or not.

Well said, Mr. Khalil.

You, stay in your place. You're a shit

of junkie.

Why do you let this fag hitting me?

Shut your mouth. We know each other ?

Have we ever seen each other?

My apologies, colonel.

That's not fair, Mr. Khalil. I pay you more than that.

Son of a bitch. Do you call me a rip?

Never, Mr. Khalil, ever.

Do you have a lawyer?

Kill me, let's finish it.

I swear not to denounce you.

As you want.

Empty your pockets.

That too.

I have nothing else.

- He wants a lawyer? - He refused.

It's not an hour to stop people.

I did not even have breakfast.

The photos of Shafiq.

Do not you have them?

Lalena stole them from you, right?

Mr. policeman did his job well!

Do you think you're doing a real investigation?

Watch your tongue

where I cut you.

Where were you the night of the murder?

- With Gina. - Can she confirm it?

If she lives again.

You are suspected

the murder of Lalena.

You will stay

in custody for 15 days.

Momo!

What?

Watch him, but beware. She's a viper.

Where are you going?

- Where is Momo? - I dunno.

- Where is he? - I do not know, colonel.

Wake up.

Standing.

Well, sir.

I'll talk about it at the service of the staff.

Can I have his file?

Where is Momo?

State Security wants to see you. What do you have ?

Nagui is dead.

Do not worry, it's not a problem.

Tell me what you are going to say to the Surety.

- Nothing. - You will go in uniform.

That's it?

If they sniff the money, they will want their share.

I'll hide the Mercedes at my cousin's place.

I can not help it. I received orders

Listen to me, Chief.

You take me for a con?

I should never have trusted you!

Colonel Noureddine.

The State Security summoned me.

What can I do?

- Where is Gina? - Be carefull.

- Where is she? - Less strong.

Nagui is dead.

He had the pictures?

No

You are a good man.

You are doing a good job.

23 JANUARY 2011 HEADQUARTERS OF THE STATE SECURITY, NASR CITY

Sit down.

Your name appeared in our survey.

Do you know the singer Gina?

No

She was found dead 2 hours ago.

Sowed and thrown on a pile of garbage.

Kammal Mostafa is your uncle.

We have suspicions about him.

Have you noticed anything?

No

Two Sudanese were killed.

One worked at the Hilton and witnessed the murder there.

Did you meet her?

I searched for it, but without success.

What is your relationship with Hatem Shafiq?

None.

Mr. Shafiq is a member of Parliament.

Any investigation involving it is our responsibility.

Arrange.

Welcome, sir.

By the way,

the technician came and the parable works nickel.

You have all of Europe, God forgive me, with the naughty girls.

Noureddine!

Saleh!

Wake up!

Saleh!

You, there!

Where are you going?

Advance, bitch.

Stop!

What's that?

I bring them into custody.

By order of whom? There is a bus to Sudan outside.

Here is for the Egyptians.

I will have to refer to the brigadier.

That's it.

Sir, I saw what happened at the Hilton.

Take me these kids and get out.

- Momo! - Yes ?

We have the Hilton's daughter.

Call the prosecutor.

Okay.

It does not answer.

Insists.

Heard.

I try again.

I have something important to show you.

At your command.

Ali.

We are going into operation.

You. Come.

Do not be afraid.

I have Salwa, the girl of the hotel.

With me, drive.

Youssef put her in the cell, but I took her out.

She was arrested in Tahrir Square.

And you bring it to me in police car?

This is the only witness. I thought...

You will tell Mr. Kammal that I ordered you to release her.

And tell him that Shafiq

is trying to eliminate me.

Speak only to Mr. Kammal.

Salwa.

Do not be afraid.

Come with me.

Are you tired?

Are you hungry?

You know that I love you like a brother.

So?

Do you still want to say anything?

What did you see exactly?

I saw Shafiq come out of the room.

He put his watch back.

I heard a woman

in the room, which said:

"You promised me."

He took the elevator and he left.

I went back to work.

A little later, I heard screams.

Another man came out of the room.

How long was it after Shafiq left?

Not long.

I was in the hall next door.

This is the same man who came to Clinton.

Shafiq thinks you are dead.

He's after me now.

For what, officer?

I'm coming to see Mr. Shafiq. Colonel Noureddine.

Mr. Shafiq plays golf.

Say it's urgent.

I'm sorry, sir. You need an invitation.

Do you want to see her, my invitation?

Sorry to disturb you.

Can we talk in private?

We are at the 11th hole. It can wait ?

Unfortunately, no.

Lalena had the receipt for the photos when she was killed.

I have the photos.

And the negatives.

And a witness.

Excuse me, gentlemen.

I thought you were clever.

In reality, you are an idiot.

A fucking idiot.

Do you believe in Switzerland?

Justice does not exist here.

What's that? What are you doing ?

Come, Mr. Shafiq.

No I want my lawyer.

Settle in my office.

My lawyer, I said.

They came in force. We are badly barred.

Have you been treated well, Mr. Shafiq?

You are guilty of kidnapping on a deputy.

Calm us. My nephew made a mistake,

but we can talk between civilized people.

- Who is the prosecutor? - Me, sir. Hello.

Do you realize the magnitude of your error?

Yes, sir?

Yes, sir?

Yes, sir.

Well, sir.

Well, sir.

Goodbye, sir.

Goodbye.

The Attorney General has just given the order to put Hatem Shafiq

under arrest

for the murder of Lalena at the hotel.

Send my wife and children to Dubai.

Well, sir.

Put the documents safely.

You saw me.

You know I did not kill her.

You know it, right?

I loved him.

The room is there.

This is your wife?

She is beautiful.

Where is she?

Killed by car.

Shafiq did not kill this woman.

He said he loved her.

What is it?

Stamps.

Stamps for what?

To empty my head.

25 JANUARY 2011, CAIRO

Qasr al-Nil, do you receive me?

Yes, sir.

Order of the ministry: open fire.

Well received.

We have orders.

We open fire.

On whom?

On them, Youssef!

Execution.

Kammal!

Tahrir Square, Cairo,

the number of protesters is estimated

to 10,000. Stone throwing targeted

the security forces in Qasr al-Aini street,

adjacent to Tahrir Square.

Some isolated rioters

attacked public facilities.

Mr. Kammal!

I'm waiting for you.

No, Youssef, go!

What?

Power to the people! Down with the military regime!

From what was declared by the Commander-in-Chief

armies,

the introduction of a curfew is imminent.

Where is the situation on the street?

The urgency for citizens,

right now, is to ensure their bread needs,

in fruits and water.

The simple citizen

think above all

to his wife and children.

Good. We are live...

My uncle?

The situation seems to calm down...

My uncle?

The population complies with the orders of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armies,

President Mohammed Hosni Mubarak.

Curfew

will take effect from 18 pm,

following the incidents...

Anyone?

Anyone?

Hey ho!

I'm coming.

Three packages of Cleopatra.

Here.

Salwa!

Where are you going?

You are the only one to know the truth!

The man you shot at, did you ever see him?

At the Hilton?

Here.

Go away.

Leave this country. You have no future here.

Police! Go back inside!

State Security

My uncle?

Where are you?

Where is Mr. Kammal?

Mr. Kammal!

Goodbye.

Let's go.

You let him stand?

We have our money, right?

We do not have the right. He killed her.

No He just fell in love with the wrong girl.

It's good, we have the money.

Why did you let him go?

Why?

Calm down a bit. It's over, we have our money.

I have a corpse in my car. The murderer.

He is an officer of the Security.

In a day or two, this brothel will be over.

The president will involve the army, and who will take?

Still us.

Are you involved in the murder of Lalena?

Bloody heartburn. I need to eat.

Did you kill her?

What are you talking about? Of course not.

I knew, for the Nagui business.

I knew what he was doing.

He trapped businessmen with his daughters.

I touched a percentage, it made me a lot of money.

But with the photos of Shafiq, it got complicated.

The State Security contacted me.

I thought we had gone too far.

Except that in fact, they wanted their piece of cake.

They did a real carnage.

Poor little girl. She died for nothing.

It's life. May she rest in peace.

What do you want to do?

We are always live to describe the situation

in the streets of Cairo, and especially in the city center...

Nour...

is not it ok?

What do you have?

Do not feel good?

You killed Gina too.

Bad news of the bad news.

Have you gone mad?

Do you want to stop me?

I treated you like a son.

Shame on you!

Very good. Do you want to stop me?

Stop me, sir.

Stop me!

He has a revolver!

Stop!

That's enough! We are not like them!

Freedom! Freedom !
