manipulated everyone, she would have that life with

him, and my beautiful little granddaughter would have her

father at home, where he belongs.

>> Hope: Liam is a good father to Kelly, and hes going to be a

good father to our baby, as well.

I mean, that is what we should be focused on.

Not this.

Not looking backwards to the past and pointing fingers.

I mean, getting this upset isnt good for anybody.

And it certainly isnt what Steffy wants.

and wouldnt happen again.

You didnt see the way Taylor was laying into Hope.

>> Steffy: My mom can get worked up, but shes not dangerous,

tell Hope?

I cant -- Im not gonna leave Hope in the dark on this.

She deserves to know that your mom is the one who shot my dad.

[ Chuckles ] I admit, I would have never found my way up here

My mother isnt gonna risk her relationship with me

or with Kelly.

Shes changed a lot since then.

talks about you or my relationship with Hope.

Listen, I know -- I know this is your mom, and youre feeling

protective of her.

I totally get that.

But Hope and I are married.

We have a child on the way.

And Hope deserves to know that your mom is capable of murder.

>> Steffy: You dont have to worry about that.

>> Liam: Well, I am.

I am worried about it, Steffy.

Im worried about Hope.

Im worried about our baby.

Im -- Im worried about Kelly.

But Im also worried about your mom.

Taylor was just defending her daughter, as usual.

I mean, look what happened at my wedding.

You two, you just set each other off.

whats happened to my family and my daughter?

And you love your daughter.

You feel for Steffy and Kelly, and you want to protect them.

If being back in L.A. is only going to upset you and cause you

all this pain, I mean, maybe this isnt the right

place for you right now.

I mean, maybe its better for you if --

think, "Well, gosh, did I just make things worse?"

Cause I dont want your mom to see Hope as the enemy.

That is how she saw my dad.

What happened with Bill was an isolated event.

>> Liam: [ Sighs ] >> Steffy: A moment of emotional

crisis.

He told me he wasnt gonna say anything.

And I only told Hope.

mothers back.

What she did was wrong and out of control,

but it scared her more than anyone.

>> Brooke: She was just expressing concern for you,

Taylor.

I thought my daughter was happily married, expecting a

baby.

I thought everything was fine.

But obviously I was wrong.

>> Taylor: My daughter needed me.

>> Hope: Look, I understand its upsetting.

Steffy and Bill, her marriage falling apart,

it was a painful and awful time for everyone.

>> Taylor: Liam was coming back to her.

I saw the flowers and the cards.

He was begging for their life back together.

are married now.

And were getting ready for our little girl.

And Steffy wants us to be a family, and --

And if you cant ac-accept that, if -- if being around us is too

difficult for you, then...

moms gonna react when she finds out Hope knows.

than the hateful nonsense I had to hear from Hope and

Brooke just now.

>> Brooke: Liam didnt warn you?

After the last time, I thought she would have learned how to

behave.

I still cant believe how she acted at your wedding.

She is absolutely crazy.

You heard the things that she was saying.

>> Hope: Taylor hasnt been herself lately.

That is who she is, blaming all of her

disappointments in her life on our family.

Honestly, Mom, I -- Im really worried about her.

You need to focus on yourself, and this beautiful little baby

growing inside of you.

>> Hope: But this is why its so important.

Mom, I cannot have you getting into it with Taylor,

and I certainly dont want her coming after you.

>> Brooke: Honey, I can handle myself.

>> Hope: Maybe in the past, when she was more in control.

Look, I -- Ugh! God, I-I wasnt going to

say anything, but...

Hearing the way she was talking to you, and telling you that she

despises you more than anyone in the world...

[ Sighs ] You need to know.

>> Brooke: Know what?

>> Hope: Taylor has done something terrible.

And youll never be able to see her the same way again.

>> Steffy: You were talking to Hope?

>> Taylor: I-I know Liam wasnt happy with the way I spoke to

Hope earlier.

>> Liam: But you confronted her again?

>> Taylor: Well, I was having a private conversation with

Brooke, and then Hope came in and interjected herself into

that conversation.

[ Liam sighs ] >> Steffy: Okay, Mom,

I really think that you need to give Hope some space right now.

>> Taylor: [ Sighs ] Im sorry you thought

I was being unfair to Hope.

I was trying to express my feelings.

Im -- Im sorry that Hope took that personally.

>> Steffy: Mom, please.

Hopes baby and Kelly, theyre gonna be half-sisters.

You cant argue every time youre in a room together.

>> Taylor: I apologize for that.

I di-- I didnt come here to L.A. to cause problems and --

and stir up tension, all right?

Im here because I want to be near my granddaughter.

This time goes by so fast.

All of the milestones -- the first words, her first steps --

I dont want to miss any of them.

And I dont want to be wasting time arguing with everybody.

I would be lying if I didnt tell you both that it breaks my

heart whats happened to Kellys family, that its been broken.

[ Sighs ] And, Liam...

I realize you dont want to hear this, but it has to be said.

This isnt -- its not the life that you wanted

for your little girl.

You were committed to Steffy.

The two of you were going to raise that baby together.

And you would be doing that today if it hadnt been for

Bill.

And if Hope had just let the two of you work out your

differences, and if Brooke had just stayed out of it --

>> Steffy: Okay.

Mom, stop. Please.

>> Taylor: Honey, I know youre going to tell me that this was

all your choice, but it wasnt.

And Brooke and Hope can pretend that this is the way things

were meant to be, but you both know theyre wrong.

Theyre wrong!

>> Hope: [ Exhales ] I-I dont know how to say this.

I just found out myself, and I-Im still trying to

process it.

>> Brooke: Process what?

Sweetheart, I can see that youre upset.

What happened?

>> Hope: You remember when Bill was shot?

Liam was staying in that hotel.

He and Steffy had just broken up, and Ridge was

furious with Bill.

I mean, so furious that they thought he might be the shooter.

>> Brooke: Yeah.

Why would you bring that up now?

Ridge was cleared.

>> Hope: Yeah, but the police never found out who actually

shot him.

>> Brooke: Yeah, I know.

And that still worries me.

>> Hope: It should.

>> Brooke: Why do you say that?

>> Hope: Because I know -- I know who shot Bill.

>> Brooke: What? Who?

>> Hope: Liam just told me.

Hes...known for months.

Along with Steffy and Bill.

Theyve been keeping it a secret.

>> Brooke: Why?

>> Hope: To protect the shooter.

>> Brooke: [ Scoffs ] Why would anybody

want to protect the shooter?

Bill was almost killed.

Who was it?

>> Hope: Okay, you cant say anything.

>> Brooke: Who shot Bill?

>> Hope: It was Taylor.

>> Brooke: What? Taylor?

No, Taylor -- she wouldnt be able to pick up a gun

and shoot somebody.

>> Hope: I know.

I couldnt believe it, either.

But its the truth.

>> Brooke: Taylor was in Paris.

>> Hope: Yes, but when she thought that Bill had taken

advantage of her daughter, she flew back here,

she went to Bills house, she picked up his gun, and...

she shot him.

It was Taylor.

>> Brooke: [ Exclaims ] Taylor?

Taylor shot Bill?!

Taylor?!
