I dont condone his behavior

this past year, but we all

know that he suffered

as a result of it.

And he wants to make up for it.

Hes not looking for

forgiveness.

He just wants to be a better

person.

He wants to grow, and to learn,

what he went through,

and I could feel his pain.

He had a lot of guilt about what

he did to you and to Wyatt and

to Steffy.

And he got pushed over his

balcony.

And, of course, he lost custody

of his son.

And we cant forget that he was

shot in his own living room.

I mean, your father

had a tough year.

>> Det. Sanchez: Its been

months since the shooting,

Mr. Spencer.

I assume youve spent a lot of

time thinking about it.

>> Bill: Well, it turns out, Im

bulletproof -- like, uh,

So, actually, I havent.

>> Det. Sanchez: [ Scoffs ]

I find that odd.

I mean, if somebody came into my

home and shot me, Id be running

down every clue until I figured

out who did it.

>> Bill: Well, thats why youre

>> Det. Sanchez: By your own

admission, you saw the shooter.

I mean, y-you even said

it was a man.

>> Bill: Look, Detective,

I wish there was something more

So, Justin, as you escort

the detective out, please stop

solve this crime?

I know more than once.

I was shot. I was out of it.

I thought I saw someone, but

I guess I was hallucinating.

When I got the call from your

father, though, about what Bill

had done to you --

me, I hung up the phone,

and I went straight to

Charles de Gaulle, and got on

the next flight to LAX,

and I took a cab right to

Bills house.

It was windy, and...

stormy.

And the gate was wide open.

So I walked up the driveway.

And I went to the front door,

and it was unlocked.

And I just -- I walked in.

And Bill was standing there,

listening to music,

looking out the French doors.

I mean, honey, I o-- I only

went there to confront him

a-and defend you.

And then I saw that gun.

That horrible gold gun,

sitting there, the bullets

sitting right next to it.

So I picked one up.

And I put it in the chamber.

I-I dont know what I was

thinking.

All I could think of was --

was you, and what --

what Bill had done to you.

And I...

I picked up the gun

and I aimed it.

And I pulled the trigger.

[ Gunshot ]

[ Crying ] It was so wrong.

I know that.

And Im so ashamed.

>> Steffy: Shh. Its okay.

>> Taylor: Im so ashamed,

honey.

I dont know how I could have

done that.

I almost took a life.

And now I have to live in fear.

Thats my future.

Wondering if Bill

is going to change his mind.

And Ill be separated from you

and Kelly, and Ill live

the rest of my life in a

prison cell.

[ Slapping ]

[ Taylor sobbing ]

terrible incident behind us.

Whoever tried to kill your

father still hasnt been

apprehended.

still have issues with your

father, but are you sure you

dont want the police to pursue

this any further?

>> Hope: I mean, theyve already

tried, Mom.

>> Brooke: Well [Sighs]

I, for one, would like to see

this person off the streets.

And in the meantime, maybe your

father should have a body guard.

>> Liam: A body guard?

My dad? Are you kidd--

Theres no way.

He wouldnt do it.

>> Brooke: Well, he does own a

multinational corporation.

And somebody tried to kill him.

And he did it once,

theyre gonna try again.

I really think this person

should be arrested and

brought to justice.

>> Det. Sanchez: Im here to

solve an attempted murder.

Id think youd want that, too,

since youre the victim.

>> Bill: Of course I want to

know who shot me.

And if there was anything more I

could tell you that would help,

I would.
