and I defended myself
like any man would.

I never meant to kill him.

Well, that- that's all very
plausible.

Except for the fact that you
planned your alibi in advance.

You got your mate to impersonate
you as a drunk arrested

at Bow Street.

Which would persuade any jury
that you went to Saracen's house

with one intention.

To eliminate your rival to
Denning's inheritance.

I'd put money on Blunt being
Denning's killer too.

He may even have been involved
in Crabtree's kidnap.

Which just leaves those missing
counterfeit notes.
