CREEPY VOICE: There has always been light,

and there has always been darkness; Heaven

and hell; Light and dark.

Some believe this hell is forged with fiery gates.

And some believe there are keys to unlock these gates.

But time has brought us together to answer one basic question...

What do you believe?

Hello?

Hello?

KAGE: Yeah?

Hey, is this the, the House of Hun... House of Horrors?

KAGE: Turn around.

Take a look.

I hate haunted houses.

[thunder]

Love what you did with the place.

Very spooky.

- Sick. - Pretty cool, huh?

No.

No, I mean, like, disgusting, sick.

It's awesome.

Kids love this shit.

Yeah, it says here you're western New.

York's largest and most terrifying haunted attraction.

That's the rumor.

Isn't there another one around here?

Like a Fright Planet or Scare World or something like that?

Yeah, but they're just for kiddies.

You want a real scare, you come here.

You the inspector?

Turn around and take a look.

Nice.

Grab a white mask and a butcher knife,

and we'll put you to work.

Oh, no, thank you.

I'm more of a Christmas guy.

Ooh. [Singing] Oh, come all ye faithful.

Nice.

Yeah.

Very clever.

Just messing with you.

Name's Kage.

I'm Doug.

It's a pleasure.

So what you need from me?

OK.

Uh, I need full access to the main circuit

panels, fuse boxes, generators if you got any.

And I'll be checking the 220 lines, the secondary breakers,

heating and cooling systems, and the wiring

for each primary outlet.

[growling]

What was that?

What?

That.

KAGE: Just one of our little toys.

Tim told me to have the lobby powered up for inspection.

Tim is the owner, right?

Is he... is he here?

Primary's over there.

Secondary's over there.

220's behind the hell house.

DOUG: Hell house.

Terrific.

Hey, you never know.

We'll make a Halloween fan out of you yet.

No, no.

Christmas fan, remember?

Gotcha.

You're leaving?

Lunch.

One hour.

(SINGING) Oh, come all ye faithful,

joyful and triumphant.

OK, great.

I'll just hang out here, do my thing,

and check everything out.

Wander around alone?

Really?

Come on.

Kage?

I don't get paid enough for this shit.

220 line's behind the hell house.

(SINGING) Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens.

Welcome to the hell house.

I smell fresh blood.

Listen closely and heed my warnings.

No smoking or open flames allowed on the premises.

Touch nothing, and nothing shall touch you, Doug.

[laughing]

[music playing]

Jesus.

[laughter]

[music box playing]

[screaming]

[children laughing]

Behind the house is the 220 line.

It's just the houses.

Behind the house, find the 220 line.

220.

[music playing]

OK, everyone, listen up.

We've got just one month to get this place up

and running and open.

All right?

So that only gives us 30 days, 720 hours, and 43,000 minutes.

So we don't have any time to waste.

Ain't never gonna happen.

Al right.

Tim's decided on two new houses this year,

so it's gonna be tight.

But if all of us join in and work together...

It would be a miracle?

Al right.

Now, the theme this year... the gates of hell.

The gates of hell.

Nice.

Questionnaire.

Codie?

How do you expect us to get two houses

done in 30 days when we haven't even seen a blueprint yet?

Tim?

Don't worry about it.

By the time you got buried alive and the gas chamber down,

I'll have the new houses all drawn up.

Terrific.

Al right.

Codie, Dusty, you two get the old houses down this week.

Jamie, you're the art director, so you get

started on the set decorations.

Why can't I work on the sets with her?

"Cause she's the set designer, and you're way

too short to ever reach the top of the set.

But you take really nice pictures.

Kage, you're in charge.

Really?

Wait a minute.

Why is Kage in charge?

Why the fuck not?

Gee I don't know. 'Cause he's a dick?

Look, Kage is second in command when Tim's not around.

OK, got it?

Great.

Hey, did that inspector ever show up?

Yeah.

He was gone when I got back.

- I assumed everything was fine. - OK.

Sandy, what's going on with the auditions?

We're all set for 3 o'clock this afternoon.

I posted open auditions, so we should get what we need.

Keep the ads running through tonight.

When we get everybody we need, you can pull everything then.

You got it.

Brenda, costumes?

Everything's in except for the demon lord.

The dead priest costumes came in this morning.

Dead priest costumes?

Really?

Yeah, but the dead altar boys just love 'em.

I'll have the costume room set up by tomorrow.

That way we can start assigning characters.

Excellent.

Surprised you got the time.

Excuse me?

Be a shame if work got in the way

of your nocturnal activities.

Don't you worry about it, baby.

I got time for both.

Al right.

Now, Pops, you're in charge of maintenance,

which is the bathrooms, the dressing rooms,

- and the garbage. - Not a problem.

All right, look.

Now, everyone's schedule's posted on the board.

I expect everybody to show up on time.

You have got to be ready for work.

How did I know you were going to say that?

You tell me.

You're the psychic, remember?

Excuse me?

What?

KAGE: Rumor has it you're psychic,

just like your old lady.

Here we go again.

Really?

That is so cool.

Yeah, unless you end up blowing your brains out, too.

Like mother, like daughter.

Wow.

Wow, you are a dick.

All right, Kage.

Well, thank you for that.

Um, anyone else?

Any questions?

OK.

Let's get to work.

[music playing]

[chainsaw running]

Nice try.

KAGE (VOICEOVER): Like mother, like daughter.

CREEPY VOICE: We see you have your mother's eyes.

Your mother's eyes.

Don't underestimate your own abilities.

KAGE (VOICEOVER): You're the psychic.

CREEPY VOICE: You come from a long bloodline of seers.

KAGE (VOICEOVER): You tell me.

You're the psychic, remember?

CREEPY VOICE: The gates of hell.

WOMAN (VOICEOVER): Go see the priest.

Show him the photos.

CREEPY VOICE: I have something you want.

JAMIE (VOICEOVER): Every time it gets brought

up, I get mocked for it.

CREEPY VOICE: Some things you need.

KAGE (VOICEOVER): Yeah, unless you end up

blowing your brains out, too.

JAMIE (VOICEOVER): You knew my mother?

KAGE (VOICEOVER): Like mother...

CREEPY VOICE: We know your mother.

KAGE (VOICEOVER): Like daughter.

Jesus!

What the hell, Brenda?

I'm sorry, baby.

I just had to.

So, what are you doing back here all by your lonesome?

Pictures.

Oh, yeah?

For what?

Web, posters, brochures.

What do you care?

Don't get upset.

I was just wondering.

So is it true?

What?

You know, what they say about short guys.

I don't know.

Want do they say?

That they're hung like monsters.

Are we?

I don't know.

There's only one way to find out.

So it's true, what they say.

No.

Not even close.

Jesus!

What the hell?

Don't ever do that to me again!

What the fuck are you doing?

Really?

Relax.

Kage told us to come find you.

We have auditions in an hour.

Kage can suck my left one.

Nice.

Come back around midnight to get started on the houses.

Midnight?

Tonight?

Does Tim know about this?

No, but he'll be happy to see that buried alive is down,

and it'll give you a chance to start painting.

You all right?

I'm fine.

Tim's got the keys.

How are we gonna get in?

Oh, I don't know.

Maybe with the spare key?

What is with you and that freaking camera?

Sorry.

Coming?

[music playing]

Money.

Yep.

Hellspawn.

Got it.

Crucified nun.

Seriously?

Come on.

Who doesn't love a crucified nun?

OK, here they are.

Dead priest costumes.

Excellent.

- Any word on the demon lord? - Not yet.

But I got a call in.

They promise it by the 13th at the latest.

Oh, by the way, this came for you.

We're getting props from the Middle East now, or what?

Not a fucking clue.

Gwar concert tonight. You going?

What do you think?

Backstage passes, baby.

Backstage passes?

You suck.

Yeah.

That's why it's good to be me.

[electrical zapping]

What the hell was that?

TIM: AC unit, again?

Dude, this is bullshit.

I fixed this last week.

Obviously.

Where's the key?

No key.

Don't look at me, man.

I am not getting blamed for this one.

We got auditions in an hour and a news crew

coming in 30 minutes.

AC?

Fix it.

And find the fucking key!

You heard him.

What?

I'll find the key.

Yup.

Yup.

Yeah.

No.

No.

No.

Yeah.

What?

She said it was fine.

Print it.

Hold on.

Go back one.

What is that?

Tim being a dick.

No, behind him.

Beats me.

Weird.

Print it.

[music playing]

What's up, baby?

[screaming]

Fuck.

I don't get paid enough for this shit.

[creaking]

[music playing]

Nothing.

[children laughing]

Come on, baby.

Shit!

Word.

[children laughing]

[growling]

Everybody stand by!

Tim, right?

Yeah, that's me.

We go live in three, two, one!

For the past 10 years, the Buffalo area

has gotten the yell scared out of itself, and for two very

good reasons... to benefit Variety Club kids

and also provide western New York with its largest and most

terrifying haunted attraction.

Standing by live with me is Tim Bunch, the owner

of the House of Horrors.

And this year promises to be bigger and better than ever

before.

Welcome, Tim.

Thanks for having me.

So tell me a little bit about the House of Horrors

and what you have planned for this Halloween season.

Well, this is gonna be our 11th year here in Buffalo, New York.

And we are the biggest, best, baddest haunted house

in western New York... The best monsters,

the best props, the best effects, the best animatronics.

We've got five different houses this year,

all themed on the gates of hell.

We're over 50,000 square feet, and we're one of the biggest

haunted attractions in the country,

and we've also been rated one of the top attractions

in the United States.

You've never seen anything like this.

Now, you're one of several haunted

attractions in the area.

Is that correct?

Yeah, but they all suck.

If you want to get a really good scare, you come here.

If you want to see the biggest haunted houses, the most

amazing props and monsters you've ever seen instead

of piles of garbage laying around every corner you turn,

this is where you want to be.

And I guarantee you none of our props will fall off the roof

and almost kill you.

And it certainly looks like you're gearing up for one

heck of a Halloween season.

That's one hell of a Halloween season, John.

I stand corrected.

And that's Tim Bunch, owner of the House of Horrors.

We'll check back as Halloween gets closer.

Back to you, Erv.

Clear!

Hey, man, thanks for coming out.

I really appreciate it.

Wasn't my idea.

I hate this Halloween bullshit.

Wrap it up, everybody!

We got 30 minutes to head to Lockport!

Whoa, we got a breaking news story in Lockport?

Nah, interview.

Some guy made a movie about a shark

that kills people in the snow.

Go figure.

All right, people!

Let's go!

Everybody's outside for auditions.

You ready?

Let 'em in.

[church bells ringing]

[music playing]

[phone ringing]

Father Michaels.

MALE SPEAKER (ON PHONE): Mike, it's Dan.

Everything's set up, ready to go.

6 o'clock tonight, Buffalo theater district.

You excited?

Do I have a choice?

MALE SPEAKER (ON PHONE): We started the book

tour in Buffalo on purpose.

Hometown boy does good and all that crap, remember?

Mhm.

MALE SPEAKER (ON PHONE): So do the gig, take the money,

and don't worry about it.

[music playing]

Mike?

Mike?

[music playing]

OK, what the hell is this?

A picture.

You know damn well what I mean.

When were you planning on telling me about this?

I took a bunch of shots, and some weird shit showed up.

So what?

So what?

Did it ever occur to you that this might be more up my alley

than yours?

I'm sorry I forgot.

Next time something freaky happens,

consult your local psychic.

Fuck you.

All right, relax.

He was kidding.

Listen, all this talk about my mom being psychic,

it just... I don't know... gets to me.

Why?

'Cause it's true?

No.

Because every time it gets brought up,

I get mocked for it.

It's Kage.

He's just dicking around.

It's a joke.

A joke.

Listen, half the time you get pissed 'cause we don't

treat you like one of the guys.

And when we do treat you like one of the guys,

you still get pissed.

So what do you want us to do?

I saw something.

What?

It was just staring at me.

What'd it look like?

That.

[music playing]

And find the fucking key.

50,000 square feet of haunted house,

and all he wants me to do is find the fucking key.

[funhouse music playing]

Really?

Thank you.

[funhouse music playing]

[laughter]

[funhouse music playing]

[music stops]

Finally.

Thank you!

[phone ringing]

[FUNHOUSE MUSIC PLAYING ON PHONE]

[music playing]

[laughter]

[music playing]

[funhouse music playing]

[laughter]

[funhouse music playing]

[phone ringing]

Hello?

TIM (ON PHONE): Where the fuck is Kage?

We're starting the auditions.

I don't know.

Last time I saw him, he was with you.

TIM (ON PHONE): The AC was out.

I told him to go fix it an hour ago.

Then the fucking spare house key turns up missing.

Really?

The spare house key turns up missing?

TIM (ON PHONE): Brenda went to find the key.

Now go find Kage.

OK, everyone.

Listen up. All right.

This is the way it's gonna work.

We're gonna do a short interview with every one of you,

then Pops will take you one at a time

into a room in the hell house.

Two minutes later, Tim, Pops, and I are gonna come through.

You've got one chance to scare the hell out of us.

If you do, you're hired.

If not, see you next year.

Al right.

Everybody form a line, and we'll call you in one at a time.

Now what?

Where's Dusty?

He's in body harvesters taking pictures.

Get him.

We got to find Kage.

Terrific.

Al right.

So why do you want to work at a haunted house?

Because my parole officer told me to get a job.

[music playing]

Next.

Al right.

So why do you want to work at a haunted house?

Oh, my God.

It is so creepy, and I just love creepy stuff.

I get to wear all black, which is totally fashion forward.

And I can wear black nail polish.

And the other monsters are really cute.

Next!

[music playing]

Why do you want to work at a haunted house?

Well, to be honest, I just thought

it kinda sounded really hot.

Any experience?

No.

Transportation?

No.

Can you work weekends?

No.

[music playing]

Welcome aboard.

DUSTY: Kage?

Kage?

Figures.

The one person I hate the most, I

have to waste time looking for.

You know what your problem is?

Oh, please, enlighten me.

DUSTY: Kage?

No balls.

Excuse me?

You heard me.

Yep, I have to agree with that one.

What is that supposed to mean?

Kage messes with you, you ignore it.

Tim gives you shit, you walk away.

No balls.

Maybe I figure it's just a waste

of time arguing with morons.

What do you mean?

Am I arguing with you?

No.

See?

Works.

Hey, guys?

Over here.

Bitch.

Better call Tim.

Like, now.

OK, this is your room.

Now, remember, if you scare us, you got the job.

So how do I know if I did good?

Everybody's rated on a scale from one to 10.

OK.

So I'm going for a 10.

Sweetheart, I've been here lots of years.

Nobody gets a 10.

[children laughing]

[music playing]

[music playing]

Two.

One.

Zero.

[music playing]

Oogie boogie!

Two.

Zero.

I thought he was fabulous.

This house is mine.

The demons of hell are here.

Fuck you!

Fuck all of you.

[music playing]

10.

What's up, Dusty?

Think you might want to come back to body harvesters.

What's the matter?

Did you find Kage?

No, not exactly.

Not exactly?

What the fuck does that mean?

We found his hat, sweatshirt, and a bunch of blood

on the wall.

Definitely looks like his twisted sense of humor.

Forget it.

He's fucking with you.

Get back up here.

Auditions are over, and I'm gonna lock up.

OK.

Guess it's his idea of a sick joke.

Can we eat now?

I'm hungry.

Really?

- I'm out. - Sounds good.

When I'm done with the new girl, I'm out of here.

Have a good night.

Al right.

Is it just me?

Because if it is, somebody needs to say so.

What?

Everything at the house, it just seems weird.

What do you mean?

Your photos and your visions and... and Tim.

I mean, I don't know.

He's just acting...

Like a dick?

No, more than that.

He's just weird.

It's not Tim.

What do you mean?

Hello?

OK, some priest wrote a book.

So?

He's giving a lecture tonight.

You need to go.

Both of you.

Obvious question... why?

You just do.

Don't tell me... another one of your feelings, right?

Did you ever think that maybe there's something seriously

wrong going on at the house?

Hello?

I just said that.

He's apparently an expert in demonology.

Ghosts.

Evil.

Evil?

What is she talking about?

Go see the priest.

Show him the photos.

OK.

So we go see this priest.

What are you gonna do?

I'm not sure.

You're not sure?

Didn't you ever do anything based on a feeling?

A gut reaction?

Not that didn't involve drinking.

You two are a real piece of work.

You know that?

Call me later.

Let me know what you find out.

A lecture.

Great.

[music playing]

So, did you enjoy your audition?

[music playing]

Do you still want the job?

[music playing]

Are you sure?

You've been a very naughty girl, loitering around outside

after everybody left.

So any experience?

Transportation?

Can you work weekends?

Welcome aboard.

[music playing]

Congratulations.

You got the job.

[music playing]

[applause]

There's always been light, and there's always been darkness.

It's the cosmic and fundamental truth of opposites... perfectly

balanced, perfectly structured.

Heaven and hell, yin and yang, light and dark.

The duality of science and mythology

are indeed at the core of everything

that exists in this world and everything beyond it.

MAN: Devil worshipper!

[laughter and applause]

Obviously someone who's never read my books.

[laughter and applause]

The ancient mythologies and the religions of the world

are essentially correct.

They're all based on the same truth.

None of them, however, tell the complete story.

According to each of their prospective myths and legends,

the dark ones, or demons, were cast of the light

to a dark and foreboding place.

The Christians call it hell.

The Egyptians were thrown to the devourer,

and the Native Americans simply called it the underworld.

Some believe this hell was forged with fiery gates.

And some believe there are keys to unlock these gates.

But time has brought us together this evening

to answer one basic question... What do you believe?

Awesome talk, Father.

Really awesome.

Always a pleasure to entertain and enlighten the common man.

Awesome.

So how's the book tour going so far?

Let's just say it's been a financially

fascinating experience.

I followed everything you do.

I've read all of your books.

Flattering.

Slightly scary.

Uh, next?

Book to sign?

Actually, we need to talk to you for a couple minutes.

Unfortunately, gentlemen, this is a book

signing, not a coffee shop.

Next?

It's important.

Perhaps you're right.

This conversation may be better served in my office.

[music playing]

[flies buzzing]

[phone ringing]

Hello?

Hey.

Where the hell are you?

Honestly, I'm not even sure, so don't ask.

Look, I don't know what you're going through,

but we just talked to that priest.

You know, the one you told us to go to?

Did you even show him the photos?

Yeah.

He seemed oddly interested.

Apparently, we're going to his office.

So I'll meet you at the house later on.

CREEPY VOICE: Only through the blood of the pure,

the worthy, can the gates of hell be permanently resolved.

Hello?

[music playing]

Not exactly what I thought a priest's office

would look like, but I like it.

Ex-priest.

Says here that you spent two years

battling the demons of hell?

Exorcisms.

Yeah?

Oh, yeah.

I was pretty good, too.

Those demons hated me.

So what happened?

Let's take a closer look at those photos, shall we?

You took these?

Nothing showed up in the viewfinder.

But when I saw them on the computer, I saw that.

Hmm.

Odd.

OK.

So what the hell is it?

That, gentlemen, is a very good question.

Ever seen anything like that before?

No.

Can't say that I have.

Come on, man.

We sat through your whole boring lecture.

Tell us something.

Friend of ours told us you were some kind of expert in...

What?

I don't know, supernatural?

Ghosts?

Demons?

Uh, my expertise is in historical and written accounts

of ancient biblical prophecies and folklore, not ghosts.

With an occasional exorcism on the side.

Really?

With a title like "The Gates of Hell"?

Got you to spend 50 bucks of my lecture, didn't it?

Ouch.

That's our exact theme this year, the gates of hell.

Strange coincidence, don't you think?

Oh, uh, two shots of my favorite poison, please?

Wow.

So obviously not much of a priest these days.

I spent 25 years of my life dedicated

to the church and my faith.

I followed the rules.

I surrendered my career, my chastity, my allegiance to God.

I gave up everything and only asked for one thing in return.

What was that?

Respect.

I found out later the church was not so tolerant of my questions

and my curiosity.

So I left.

But you still use the title Father.

Once a father, always a father.

Besides, I still have my priest collar.

Somewhere.

[burp]

Wow.

OK.

All the cameras and all the houses

can be viewed from this location.

So everything's automatic?

We can switch rooms from here to here and over to here.

So how many cameras are in there?

Lots.

Wow, really?

Mhm.

Really.

Who is that?

Good question.

We're supposed to be the only ones in here.

OK.

So what do we do?

Um, go take a look.

Me?

Yeah, it's part of your training.

Really?

Mhm.

Really.

[fart]

Great.

[music playing]

OK, so?

Uh, there's nobody here.

Well, somebody was there.

Look around.

Jesus Christ.

You want something done right, you got to do it yourself.

[fart]

OK.

So can I come back now?

[static]

Gentlemen, this conversation has been most entertaining,

although I'm still not sure what assistance I'm gonna be

able to provide in this matter.

So that's it?

Really?

I don't get it.

I mean, if you didn't think you can help us,

then why are we here?

This book tour's not only going to be extraordinarily

long, but extraordinarily dull.

So I took advantage of the company of you fine gentleman

to bask in the glory of this fine establishment, for which I

shall be forever grateful.

Thank you, my dear.

Al right.

Let's head back and meet up with Jamie

and see if we can find out anything about this altar.

Altar?

We saw it on screen during your lecture.

Figured it must be something.

[music playing]

What?

Oh, sure.

Now he's interested.

Dude, if you're getting something, let us know.

Gentlemen, this has been a pleasure,

but I seriously must be going.

What is it?

Goodnight, gentlemen.

[music playing]

I know you.

From visions.

Why?

We were waiting.

Waiting?

Waiting.

We see you have your mother's eyes.

Your mother's eyes.

You knew my mother?

We know your mother.

Don't we?

We?

You're not a mother, are you?

What brings you this deep into our woods, Miss Jamie?

I don't know.

I just felt like I...

[laughter]

I'm just fucking with you.

You're here because I have something you want,

something you need.

And that is?

Don't underestimate your own abilities.

You come from a long bloodline of seers.

So tell me, what do you want?

Information.

About what?

I don't know.

You know!

Push yourself!

Evil.

What kind of evil?

It's everywhere.

Be more specific.

An altar.

What kind of altar?

I don't know!

- You do know! - Stop!

Tell me now!

The satanic altar!

Where?

At the House of Horrors.

Good.

Very good.

There has always been light, and there

has always been darkness, perfectly balanced

and perfectly structured.

This altar is ancient and part of that balance.

Many times has it been passed down, lost, nearly destroyed.

No one knows exactly how old it is.

But its purpose is clear.

But what is it?

A lock.

To what?

Hell.

Hell?

If reassembled, it will open the gates of hell on Earth.

Revelation.

This can be stopped.

Mmm.

There must be a way.

The blood of the worthy.

Excuse me?

Only through the blood of the worthy, the pure,

can the gates of hell be permanently resolved.

Pure?

Leaves me out.

No shit.

I never said you.

I don't understand.

Whose blood?

How do you expect me to...

[music playing]

[inaudible].

Gates of hell.

[music playing]

No.

DUSTY: OK, so now what?

I don't know.

Wait to hear from Jamie, I guess.

And you have no idea where she is?

Nope.

She goes her own way.

You know that.

[phone ringing]

Finally.

Hello?

This altar has one purpose.

Jamie?

Hang on.

Who is this?

Listen, don't talk.

The altar is a lock, a lock to the gates of hell.

Father Michaels?

A lock passed down for centuries

by those who want the infestation of evil

to inherit the Earth.

OK, wait a minute.

The gates of hell?

If the altar is reassembled, if the lock is opened,

so will the gates of hell, and absolute evil

will again reign supreme.

There is always a guardian whose sole purpose

is to protect the altar and someone

close to it who watches it, who has complete access to it.

It's this person who must be stopped.

Listen, Father, I'm not sure I'm buying this.

Neither am I. Nothing more I can tell you.

Nothing more.

Hello?

OK.

OK?

What the hell is this?

Where are you going?

Back to the house to wait for Jamie.

What about me?

Tim's house.

Two blocks.

Elm Street.

Tim's house?

- What the hell for? - Don't know.

Look around.

Try to find something unusual.

He's at the Gwar concert.

Trust me, he's gonna be late.

Wait.

How do I get in?

I don't know.

Use your imagination.

Shit.

[music playing]

[screaming]

[music playing]

OK, where the hell have you been?

So what'd you find out?

Not much.

Bunch of bullshit.

Where were you?

It's not bullshit.

Excuse me?

The altar in the voodoo room, it's some type of ancient lock

or gate or something.

Yeah, that's what the priest said, too.

I thought you said you didn't find anything out.

You don't seriously expect me to believe any of this voodoo

bullshit, do you?

Where's Dusty?

The priest said something about a guardian or someone

who protects the altar.

Guardian.

She never mentioned that.

She who?

- So where is he? - Who?

Dusty!

I sent him over to Tim's house to take a look around.

What?

Guardian.

Oh, my God.

Call him!

Now!

Where the hell are you going?

JAMIE: Hell house.

Oh, terrific.

[music playing]

Well, this should be fun.

TIM (ON VIDEO): So do you love me, baby?

Yeah, I love you.

But put that camera down.

Let's have some fun.

You're creeping me the fuck out.

Get away from me, you sick fuck!

Get that thing out of my fucking face.

What is fucking wrong with you?

Oh, my God.

Do you love me, baby?

Fuck you!

[music playing]

TIM (ON VIDEO): Do you love me, baby?

[music playing]

[gun cocking]

DUSTY: Tim.

I was just walking by, and I saw that it was open.

You're in my house.

This is gonna be fun.

[music playing]

CODIE: So there's no answer.

Try him again.

Look, I'm sure he's fine.

Yeah, sure.

Breaking into Tim's house sounds real safe.

Smart idea.

Do you want to explain what exactly we're doing here?

She said only through the blood of the worthy can

this be stopped.

She who?

What the hell are you talking about?

That's exactly what I'm talking about.

When are you gonna start making sense?

TIM (VOICEOVER): Do you love me, baby?

CREEPY VOICE: We see you have your mother's eyes.

Your mother's eyes.

Only through the blood of the worthy the pure,

can the gates of hell be permanently resolved.

[screaming]

What?

Things happened in here.

Yeah.

Probably a lot of drinking.

OK.

So what happened here?

[screaming]

JAMIE: Things.

Terrible things.

Such as?

TIM (VOICEOVER): Do you love me, baby?

Do you love me, baby?

Guardian.

You OK?

JAMIE: A guardian who protects the altar.

Look, I know you're upset about your mom

and your visions or whatever.

But I really think that the best thing to do would just...

It's Tim.

Excuse me?

Tim!

[music playing]

Run!

[music playing]

You're in my house.

This is gonna be fun.

FATHER MICHAELS: This altar is ancient.

No one knows exactly how old it is.

But its purpose is clear.

CREEPY VOICE: Its purpose is clear.

No.

Only through the blood of the worthy.

CREEPY VOICE: The pure.

Take it.

Time is short.

I can't.

This has to stop.

Tonight.

Now.

[music playing]

It's all right.

Do it!

[music playing]

[music box playing]

[music playing]

You have done well.

Very well.

What is this?

What's happening?

You have opened the gates of hell.

[music playing]

But I did what you said!

And you performed perfectly.

Only through the blood of the worthy!

The pure, can the gates of hell be permanently resolved.

[music playing]

Resolution.

Only your stupidity assumed I meant closed.

Oh, my God!

[music playing]

And we thank you.

We all thank you.

[music playing]

Yes.

Good.

[music playing]

Your mother is here.

Like mother, like daughter.

[music playing]
