[The Starry Love]

[Episode 33]

Father couldn't make it here,

but I have you.

I have Man,

Di Lanjue,

Zi Wu, Husui,

and everyone I cherish here.

It's all I need.

It feels as though we were

escorted as brides just yesterday.

Time flies.

Chaofeng and I got married in dangerous circumstances.

We made the wedding simple.

I'll make sure

your wedding is festive

and grand.

Qingkui. I want the finest wine

of Wangliang City.

I want the best beef in the Beast Realm.

I want the best

snowflake pastry from House of Colors.

And the humans' hot pot!

Silly girl.

What kind of bride

only thinks about food?

You want hot pots for your wedding?

That is outrageous.

I have always been an outrageous person.

Let's have it here.

Sure.

Let's go.

Tan, slow down.

Watch your steps, Qingkui.

Be careful.

Slowly.

[Double happiness]

Why are you crying?

After years of mischief,

someone finally tamed

our beloved Tan.

How can I not cry?

Why are you crying?

My brother

cast away his desires and emotions

for his training.

Now he is finally freed from his burdens.

How can I not cry?

You two,

it's a day of celebration.

Don't cry. Be happy. Put on a smile.

That's right.

You look cute when you smile.

Smile more!

Everyone is here.

Let the ceremony begin.

Come on, Kui.

You're her mother figure.

We'll accept your salute.

Not a chance.

Qingkui, give him a scolding.

I only mean well.

I want you to have a complete ceremony.

Fifth.

My sister-in-law is scary.

I'm glad I married her sister.

As if I'd let you

marry Tan.

I wouldn't allow it either.

What kind of bride are you?

You put on the wedding gown but not the veil.

And now

you're cuddling the groom.

That is unorthodox.

The veil is to keep the bride

from feeling embarrassed.

I don't feel embarrassed.

I want everyone to see

the happiest moment

of Liguang Yetan.

Are you even an immortal?

You can spoil her,

but there should be a limit.

Pay respect to heaven and earth,

your parents,

and your brother-in-law.

These are the things you must do.

Shut it.

I'm not paying respect to them.

Hey.

If you won't do any of these,

what am I supposed to do

as your attendant?

Who says I'm not following the steps?

Come.

I pay respect only to you.

The world is full of perils.

Anyone could be a bad guy.

But I will be there for you, in life and in death.

That is our promise

to grow old together.

I pay respect only to you as well

for you risked your life to save me

and made me whole again.

In the past,

I feared the desires in my heart.

I shut them away from me.

You help me realize

that everyone is born with desires.

Bottoms up.

Fifth.

Sister-in-law.

You have a really

unconventional wedding.

I am impressed.

I raise a toast to you.

Qingkui.

Is all of this real?

Am I dreaming?

My silly Tan.

We will

always be this happy.

Yeah.

Another drink!

-Slow down! -Ease up on the drinking, Tan.

You're drunk.

I'm not drunk. I can't be drunk just yet.

My sister brought this fine wine

from Wangliang City for me.

I must drink it.

Come on.

Cheers.

You're quite a drinker.

I'll finish it for you.

Give it here.

Bottoms up.

Let me grab a few drinks.

Stop it.

Drink up.

Look at them.

They look happy.

Qingkui, cheers.

Come on.

Yeah.

Are you

going back to the Heavenly Realm soon?

No, I want to stay here and...

I want...

I want to

spend some time

with my sister-in-law and brother.

I used to think of weddings

as mere ceremonies.

But now that

I witnessed their wedding today,

I realized how nice it is

to be in love and spend the rest of your life

with your loved one.

If you are willing,

we can have a life together.

Because...

you're always so clumsy.

And...

What?

No.

I mean...

You're innocent.

It's innocence.

I want to

take care of you.

I don't mind being by your side

as Cai did.

I thought

you hated to be Cai.

As long as you like it.

Actually,

I want to stay here

not just for my sister-in-law and brother.

I want to...

stay here with you.

You mean it?

I was never a drinker!

So stop drinking.

Alright. That's enough.

Tan has her Empyrean Xuanshang.

His Highness has Princess Ziwu.

Qingkui has Chaofeng by her side.

They are

all in love.

But I am still alone and single!

(It seems I was right)

(to keep you from the truth.)

I love being alone and single.

I'll do fine by my lonesome.

I'm happy!

I can't eat anymore.

Alright.

Thanks to Fifth,

we have enough men for our armed escort agency.

We'll have lots of work to do soon when we're open for business.

I found a spot

in your area to set up

my clinic.

Don't worry.

You can keep all the money

I make.

Keep them yourself.

I have no need for money.

I am all yours too.

See that?

The moon looks beautiful tonight.

It reminds me

of the poem you read for me.

"Under the moonlight, on Lake Xi, a boat carries us.

Lying enchanted, on the flowers, our night is far from over."

What's wrong?

Are you not feeling well again?

No.

You admired the moon and the poem,

but do you remember

it's our wedding night?

Of course I remember.

So...

Yun...

Your Majesty.

Are you ever going to stop

looking at the ornate mirror?

His Majesty imprisoned me here.

What else can I do?

You have me at your service.

You?

I can avenge you.

Why?

My eldest brother

and the Second Prince

both died in regret.

I can't sleep.

I can't accept this.

And does it even matter?

You can't even

defeat Chaofeng.

Now, Shaodian Youqin

is working with him.

You are only throwing your life away.

I can't kill them.

But I can kill

those they love.

I want them to feel

our anguish.

Yetan...

Qingkui...

Correct.

(Go.)

(Carry my hate with you)

(as you tear them into pieces.)

(Brother.)

(You may rest in peace now.)

(I'll make sure they suffer.)

[To Father: My wedding with Youqin is complete.]

Great.

Your Majesty looks overjoyed.

Is it because of merriment?

Great merriment!

Look.

I should have your fingers chopped.

I deserve as much!

Tan and Youqin are finally married.

Congratulations, Your Majesty.

Congratulations!

Empyrean Xuanshang

will take care of Princess Yetan.

Your Majesty,

that's a weight

lifted off your shoulder.

Indeed.

[Memorial]

Liguang Chiyao has been sending memorials

through his former peers.

He wants to be reinstated.

He is pestering me.

Your Majesty.

The Grand Chancellor has turned over a new leaf.

I doubt he will give you or Princess Yetan

any trouble.

Fine.

He is my uncle, after all.

I'll make him wait for a few days.

I'll send him to the Void

I don't feel like seeing him now.

Yes.

Long ago,

there was someone

called Yu Boya.

He was great

at playing the qin.

One day,

he was playing his qin in the mountain.

He met someone who was there for firewood.

That person was Zhong Ziqi.

Upon hearing the melodies of Boya's qin,

he said,

"As majestic as Mount Tai."

Yu Boya thought,

"The message of this tune

was about the mountain's view."

So, he played another tune.

This time, it's the running river.

Zhong Ziqi heard the tune.

"The roars of a running river."

Whatever tune Yu Boya played,

Zhong Ziqi could tell

what was going on in his mind.

Hence,

the two became close friends.

And then?

And then,

Zhong Ziqi passed away.

Yu Boya was very sad.

So, he smashed his qin.

He swore

to never play any music again.

So, the humans

have a name for those

who can read our minds:

"soulmates."

You always know

what I am thinking.

Are you

my soulmate?

You are mine too.

From now on,

we'll make this day our "Soulmate Day."

Wherever we are,

we must celebrate this day every year.

Alright?

A promise of a lifetime.

Sealing it.

Sealing it.

I must bring Man back

to Mount Cangdan myself.

That was her birthplace.

I'm coming with you.

You must not go.

Why not?

Is there something you're not

hiding from me?

Why is it I can now

absorb turbid air?

I feel

different too.

What did you do to us?

Your Highnesses.

Let's talk in private.

We all trust each other with our lives.

Why can't you say it here?

It wasn't me.

You possessed

this power yourselves.

That's because

you are the Twin Flower

of the Ganoderma Vein.

You're the flower spirits of Dongqiu's sacred tree.

What are you talking about?

How are they even related

to that plant of destruction?

Tan and I are daughters of humans.

We were born into the human royal family.

How are we flower spirits?

This is nonsense.

Twin Flower of the Ganoderma Vein.

Separated, they absorb pure and turbid air.

Together, they can open Guixu and activate the Force of Chaos!.

Do you know how serious

this accusation is?

The flower spirits were born

with such powers,

how is that a crime?

Ten millennia ago,

the four realms feared them

for their power to open Guixu.

So they uprooted the Ganoderma Vein.

The Twin Flower was scattered.

Who would've thought?

The flower spirits were reunited

after ten millennia.

They were reincarnated as humans.

All of these...

Not even my father

had experienced these.

Why would you, a young girl

know about this?

Because

I witnessed the demise of Dongqiu myself.

The Ganoderma Vein is sacred to Dongqiu!

We will defend it

with our lives!

Then we shall destroy Dongqiu!

The Twin Flower from the Ganoderma Vein

can open Guixu!

That's an ancient legend.

No one can prove this claim.

The people of Dongqiu

have lived here in peace.

Why would we want to destroy the world?

Please, show us mercy.

Spare our sacred tree.

If the legend is true,

the fate of the world

is tied to the Ganoderma Vein.

How can we live in peace knowing that?

If the legend is false,

the Ganoderma Vein is just a tree.

Why would you

sacrifice your lives

for a plant?

Stand aside

and we shall spare you.

The Ganoderma Vein

is connected to the souls of the people of Dongqiu.

Heavenly Emperor and Void Tyrant, if you insist on destroying the sacred tree,

then do it over our dead bodies.

We will sacrifice our blood

to the spirit of the sacred tree!

Suzhi,

hide here and don't come out.

Don't come out.

Stay here.

Don't come out.
