According to recent reports, the Russian military
is facing severe shortages of artillery and other

long-range weapons, resulting in a shift towards
close combat tactics, even hand-to-hand combat.

The British intelligence service has noted
that the massive tank columns that previously

surged towards Kiev have been replaced by
infantry attacks armed with trench shovels.

This shift in tactics is believed to be a direct
result of the severe lack of artillery and other

long-range weapons in the Russian army. The
British intelligence service cited a recent

video statement from a Russian unit, in which
the soldiers complained that they had been sent

to assault a Ukrainian concrete bunker armed
only with "automatic rifles and shovels".

It is noted that the combat effectiveness
of the standard MPL-50 infantry shovel is

"particularly mythologized in Russia. This tool
has changed little since its creation in 1869.

"Its continued use as a weapon underscores
the brutal and low-tech warfare that has

come to characterize much of
the war," the report says.

Russian generals, who received their
military education back in Soviet times,

use the "proven tactic" of first sending one
wave of armored vehicles through minefields,

thereby clearing mines with iron.

This wave is followed by the second, third, tenth,
and the eleventh wave, armed with sapper blades,

goes into hand-to-hand combat with the
Ukrainian armed forces. It's genius, isn't it?

British Intelligence states that
the shift to predominantly close

combat in Ukraine was caused by
the Russian command's desire to

continue a high-intensity war despite
the exhaustion of military resources.

As a result, Russia has switched
to the tactics of infantry attacks

with minimal support from shell-starved artillery.

Prigozhin, the leader of the "Wagner group",
accused the Ministry of Defense of Russia of

collaborating with the enemy because the supply
of ammunition to his mercenaries was stopped.

In an emotional speech, Prigozhin accused the
command of covering up the Wagner's supply

of ammunition, which he claimed was leading to
significant losses for his fighters. According

to British intelligence, the total losses of
Russian troops in Ukraine are about 200,000,

with up to 60,000 of them liquidated,

and the losses of Wagner mercenaries
being 50% of the total number of fighters.

The AFU General Staff also stated that the
occupants are moving their equipment there

and back between Nova Kakhovka and Armiansk,
hoping to create a semblance of activity in

the Kherson direction. At the same time,
Russian commanders on the ground are

dissatisfied with such maneuvers, as they
reduce fuel supplies and are of no use.

The Kherson direction is the gateway to
Crimea. Add to this statement the many

kilometers of trenches on the Black Sea
coast to form a complete picture of the

preparations for the defense of Crimea by the

will liberate the peninsula from the sea or
