[Episode 2]

How much longer do I have to walk?

We've got nothing to do now.

How about you tell me

about the current world?

I can do that.

Call me Sir,

stay away,

and don't come any closer.

I'm all ears, Sir.

The current Chief of the Marital World

is Mr. Lin from Yishui Villa

. his only daughter Lin Xiaoxiao.

But he often locks himself up

and doesn't meddle around.

So, in the martial world,

some clans

stir up trouble.

The world will be in chaos again,

won't it?

You want people

to fight for you,

don't you?

I don't.

That's what I read in books.

In my opinion,

it's great if someone

can grow old together with me.

Grow old together?

Why?

When you travel around,

don't you feel lonely?

A genius is destined to be

lonely .

I hate to be lonely.

I want a companion

who waits for me at home.

Then I wouldn't be lonely.

What kind of companion do you want?

Let's go. We're arriving soon.

Toys.

Delicious wonton.

Miss,

check the toys.

There we are, at last.

What a bustling town!

Sugarcoated haws.

Come over.

Wait for me here.

Don't go anywhere.

Come and have a look.

Put this on.

Are you caring about me

? t overthink.

I can't stand the hot sun.

But I can.

Why did you give it to me?

I put it on your head

so that I can get it at any time.

You don't want it?

Then don' t get into the town.

Go away.

Wait. Wait.

I'll wear it.

What did you come for?

To visit my relatives.

What's your name?

Lin Qingqing.

You're with her?

Yes.

Sir,

what are they holding?

The travel permit.

You can't get in without it.

Do you not have one?

Then you can't get in.

How can I not have one?

Follow up.

Come and have a look.

What's in your basket?

Some grains.

Who told you I don't have one?

Your travel permits.

You came together?

Wang Tieshuan from Wang Village?

Show me your face.

You're quite a beautiful girl.

Why do you have such a name?

I love this name. Any problem?

No, no. Off you go.

Go, go, go.

[Wanted]

Go inform the Imperial Guards.

The girl who just went into town

seems to be the wanted one.

Go. Hurry.

For your health,

you can only have mild noodles.

Ma'am , dishes for you

.

just have one bite?

No.

What about some soup?

No, either.

You can't

finish so many dishes alone.

Why can't I have some?

I'm so handsome.

When you can look at me,

you're already enjoying.

Great point!

Even I can't help looking at you.

Who are you?

I'm Chu Yao,

Mr. Bai's good friend.

I mean I want to be

Mr. Bai's good friend.

I rarely see him travel with someone else.

May I have your name?

Wang Tieshuan.

Good name.

Now that

you're in Bailu City,

let me perform the duties

of the host.

My chefs

make great dishes.

Would you like to come?

Sure.

Mr. Bai,

go to my mansion.

Everything has been prepared

in the way you like.

That year when you passed by,

you saved my life.

It was so kind of you

and you were actually my savior.

I'm so glad

that you came to Bailu City

and we met again.

We must drink and chat merrily

and get hammered.

I would have this restaurant emptied

in case we're disturbed.

Somebody!

What's going on?

Let's get out of here.

Go, go.

Go.

What about the bills?

Don't worry.

I'll take care of all the bills.

Mr. Chu,

if you're so generous,

how about

you take care of my bill, too?

I just had some noodles.

Then I'll leave you alone .

If you want to leave,

pay the bill yo urself.

I'll sit back there.

What's this?

My gift for you.

If you can persuade Mr. Bai

to live in my mansion for some days,

I would appreciate it.

He can buy you over

with so little money?

Don' t you think

this is a humiliation?

If this is a humiliation,

do it more times.

Seriously,

Mr. Chu is so hospitable.

We

should

n't be rude.

Don't always reject him. t be too impolite.

Let me drink some tea

to express my gratitude.

It doesn't matter

what you drink.

If you want to live in my mansion,

I couldn't be happier.

Chu Yao's mansion can be

a good place for her recuperation.

It's ginseng and tangerine peel tea.

Tastes great.

Fine.

I'll just have my soup.

The sun is setting.

How about you go home with me?

Bath water is ready for you.

Your... Your face..

- Don't hurt him

! - Are you all right?

Back off! Back off!

- Aye. - Aye.

Young

Master

, are

you all right?

Itches

.

You poisoned him, huh?

Was it necessary?

You know nothing.

A rich young man like him

must discharge internal heat regularly.

Or he would easily have diabetes

and lose his life.

Take this cup of tea

as my gift for him.

You're right, Mr. Bai.

You're always right.

Fine .

Now that this is a sweetheart deal,

I won't interfere.

Are you really leaving?

Don't you want to know

what happened to you?

People should look ahead.

Petty cool.

So, you don't mind

if you may

feel uncomfortable, huh?

I didn't drink the tea.

But you ate the noodles I ordered.

You!

Don't worry.

Mr. Bai must be kidding.

Well

,

I just check out there.

hot.

When you

go out,

I'll hold the umbrella for you

in case you get sunstroke.

You're a wonderful girl.

No wonder Mr. Bai treats you specially.

I know when to give in.

Good point.

,

we have to do something we don't want.

For example, I don't want

to live in Mr. Chu's mansion,

but I have to.

Bring

your luggage.

Young Master.

Wait, wait.

Leave me alone.

Go take care of Mr. Bai

. very famous.

In Bailu City,

everyone knows it.

Wait, wait.

What are you doing here?

Shouldn't you be entertaining Mr. Bai

in Wangyue House?

Mr. Bai said he didn't need us

and he wanted to be quiet .

Miss, help yourself.

We're in a hurry for the storytelling.

What story?

About the most famous witch

and her men.

Go, go.

Or we'll be late.

Help yourself, Miss.

We have to go.

See you, Miss.

Quite

a lot of diners here.

There

you

are

. Come in, please.

I told you, huh

?

All right.

Get me some good tea.

OK.

We have good seats today.

Exactly. Right in front of the storyteller.

Sorry to have kept you waiting.

The wind blows and shocks the world.

[Diners from Everywhere] Flags flutter in the storm.

Generals are like heaven-s ent warriors.

Enemies like ants can't get away.

- Bravo! - Bravo!

The story I'm going to tell

is Wulin Heroes.

Oh, sorry.

I said it wrong.

It's Wulin Witch.

Witch?

- Witch? - I mean

Ye Xi, the Wicked,

the most notorious woman.

Ye Xi?

With her great martial arts,

she snatched

secret martial arts books

and treasures from many clans.

Later, she went to Shu Region

but failed to seduce Young Master Tang Yang of Tang Clan.

She hated him then.

In a fit of anger,

she massacred his fiancée's family!

Massacred?

- How hateful! - That family is destroyed, then.

She even wanted

to destroy the Rainstorm Needle,

the

best hidden weapon

! to avenge his fiancée.

Ye Xi, the Wicked,

got what she deserved.

She was killed

by the Rainstorm Needle

and died

unburied

in the Bamboo Forest.

Right

, she deserved that

. . She deserved that!

Good point.

Good point.

She can't be spared.

Yeah

, she should be killed.

There's always justice

. do you think you can run?

Ye Xi?

She's the witch?

Really?

Isn't that Miss Wang?

She 's Ye Xi, the Wicked?

But didn't Ye Xi

die a long time ago?

on a mission.

Go away if you're not involved.

Come on. Make way.

Get out. Out.

Go , go, go.

Officers...

Let's go tell Mr.

Bai

.

.

Gentlemen, don't leave.

Officers, what's this about?

Warriors

and officers,

please show some mercy.

Don't have a fight in here.

Please do it out there.

My teahouse is a small business

. mission.

Get out of the way

in case you get hurt accidentally!

We're doing the right thing for Heaven.

If you lose some money,

ask Heaven for it!

Miss ,

you must be Ye Xi.

girl named Ye Xi.

Go with us,

Miss Ye.

Are you talking to me?

Witch!

Don't play innocent.

Everyone says

you stole secret martial arts books

from all clans.

When I heard you were killed,

I regretted

that I didn't kill you personally.

Now, I'm gonna kill you right here!

Do you get the wrong person?

I'm Wang Tieshuan.

I can't be the witch

you're hunting.

Wang Tieshuan?

Why don't you call yourself Wang Tiedan?

Witch!

You must be

insulting

our intelligence.

- Yeah. - Yeah.

How can you still deny it?

The Frost Swordsmanship you used

is what Ye Xi uses

. of many clans

have parallels.

You can't judge me

with this alone.

Witch,

look carefully.

Find no more excuses.

[Wanted] It's you in the portrait, isn't it?

Here's the announcement.

The girl in the portrait is wanted.

This gorgeous girl

is named Ye Xi.

If anyone has a clue about her whereabouts...

What else can you argue now?

I...

Is this possible

that this girl

looks like me?

No more desperate struggles

. better surrender.

Please wait.

I can prove her innocence.

Mr. Bai,

you're here, too.

Mr. Bai is right in time.

He can prove

that I'm not Ye Xi.

She is...

Wang Tieshuan.

Guys,

they 're partners!

Let's get them together!

Go.

Hurry! After them!

After them!

After them!

Hurry!

Hurry

.

Shoot!

Luckily

,

they

can't shoot us

for the moment. them!

After them!

Stop running!

Stop!

Looks like we can't just hide.

How about we rush out together?

Stop!

Charge!

- Charge! - Charge!

Go.

Mr. Chu?

What are you doing here so late?

Officer,

I wonder what you're doing.

I'm out here for a walk.

Now that we met,

I would like to help you.

The Regent ordered us

to arrest Ye Xi.

Is it you who gave off the smoke?

it you?

I...

You trapped us

and now you're our enemy.

I don't dare.

Officer,

now that they've run away.

You

ca

n't get them back.

had hard work.

On behalf of our townsmen,

I'll give you a big feast.

Instead of sleeping,

you're fighting in the street so late.

What a racket!

She must be Lin Xiaoxiao,

Chief Lin's daughter.

here?

Yeah.

Mr. Chu, I'm grateful on behalf of my men.

We should go.

See yo u.

Let's go.

We don't care if the government wants her.

Anyway,

for justice in the marital world,

we must kill Ye Xi, the Wicked,

and her partner,

Bai Yue, right?

- Right. - Kill her!

Warriors,

please listen.

I

'm the richest man in Bailu City.

Even in the whole world,

I

'm

one of the richest, too.

For such justice,

you nearly pull down the teahouse. 'll take care

of all the losses.

As for Ye Xi's partner,

I'm looking for him, too.

To be honest,

he's the man

who ruined my face.

Take your time, guys.

You must be tired after the fight.

And you need doctors for the wounded.

How about you stay in my mansion

to get back your energy?

Tomorrow, I'll send my men

to find out where they are.

I'll keep you up to date

with any news.

Then you can fight them together,

and kill them with half the effort.

- Yeah, yeah. - He made sense.

He

's right.

Thank you, then, Mr. Chu

.

to my mansion

and take good care of them.

- Aye. - Aye.

There you go.

Thanks.

Go.

Go.

Fine.

Ye Xi, the Wicked...

Isn't she dead?

How did Bai Yue

become her partner?

Anyway,

if anyone dares to hurt him,

he'll be my enemy.

Then you're my friend.

Stop smiling.

When you smile, your face

looks scarier.

Bai

Yue did this, huh

? this to detoxify me.

It looks scary,

but it works very well.

I'm not sure

what he's doing now.

Then quit it.

Just tell me.

Is Bai Yue all right?

Where's he?

With me, they're certainly all right.

But where are they...

I don't know now.

My Lady,

let's get back home.

Even if you run after Mr. Bai,

it won't help.

He won't talk to you, anyway.

But if you don't go home,

your father will lose his temper.

Where do you live, Miss?

If I have news about him,

I'll send you a message

. ishui Villa.

- Yishui Villa? - Forget it.

I've been out for so many days

in the wind and sun.

I'm just going home.

If you find him,

let me know immediately.

Sure.

So, she's Miss Lin

from Yishui Villa.

Bai Yue's pursuer

really has something.

I told you there are no herbs here.

But you wouldn't believe me.

What if there are some?

I should try.

Can't you see I'm getting changed?

Stand there!

Isn't that my hairpin?

Why did you snatch it?

Put your clothes on first.

This hairpin is expensive.

Why do I not know

you have this kind of thing?

Mr. Chu gave this to me.

it for money.

Or how can I cover the traveling expenses?

Freeze.

What are you doing?

When will you stop?

Sorry.

I didn't mean it.

I just saw your back...

Leave.

[Maitreya Hall]

Fine, then.

Petty.

For the sake that you saved me,

I won't argue.

But the scars on his back...

Weird.

Why do they look familiar?

And according to the storyteller

in the teahouse...

Ye Xi, the Wicked,

got what she deserved

She was killed

by the Rain storm Needle

and died unburied in the Bamboo Forest.

So, I'm really Ye Xi?

But they call me

the Witch.

I 'm the Ginseng Fairy.

Fairy, not a witch, all right?

Who on earth is Tang Yang?

've lost my memories,

but I know people should be kind.

He killed me for some needles.

So,

he can't be a good man.

What's wrong with you?

Poisoned?

And on your back...

Nonsense.

I always poison others.

No one has managed to poison me.

How arrogant!

What's wrong with you, then?

Bewitched?

Shut up.

Stay away from me.

Look at you.

We'd better get back to Bailu City

for Mr. Chu.

Ca

n't you see

it's raining and thundering?

Make do with it tonight.

Tomorrow,

you'll see your Mr. Chu.

Do you need any help?

[Guiyuan Temple]

Who are you talking to?

You.

I'm Ye Xi.

You didn't call my name.

Come over.

Come!

Mr. Bai,

how can I help you?

Scratch an itch on me.

You have limbs.

Can't you do it yourself?

I know you can't do it very well,

but anyway,

I'm giving you the chance.

I brought you to Bailu City,

detoxified you, and helped you out.

So, just do it for me.

Come on.

You just like

to nag. You

should have asked nicely.

someone in need.

Well, I'm generous

and I'll forgive you.

It

no

longer itches.

Stop

, stop.

I don't need you anymore.

Stay aside

. so quickly.

After one day, you've fully recovered.

Because I have strong energy.

It heals my wounds, didn't you hear?

I don't think that's the truth.

You should tell me the truth, actually.

after I came to town with you,

you would tell me

what I experienced.

Indeed, I said that.

But are you sure you want to know?

Why not?

Tell me

everything

now .

fooled by Tang Yang,

you became a witch tha t everybody hunted.

But Tang Yang

shifted the blame on you

for all those horrible things.

At last, in the Bamboo Forest,

you were killed by

the Rainstorm Needle.

So, I died five years ago ?

crown prince took you to the Palace.

He even expelled

all his concubines for you.

But soon,

he announced to the world

about your ten crimes

and left you unburied in the Unmarked Graveyard.

Out of curiosity,

I went to the Unmarked Graveyard

and checked if you were dead.

Do you have nine lives?

So, I have two enemies,

Tang Yang and the crown prince?

It's fine.

After I figure out the truth,

I'll kill them personally.

The crown prince is dead.

I' ll go see Tang Yang, then.

Are you sure

Mr. Chu will come here?

[Liubai Pavilion Inscribed by Chu Yao]

If you don't need your eyes,

give them to someone in need.

You...

Young Master,

if Mr. Bai finds out

you stole his wine,

he would be angry.

He must have some drugs

that can turn people mute.

By the way,

you weird disease..

.Don't worry. I

won't tell anyone else.

I just want

to discuss it with you.

Because I'm curious, too.

How about I touch you one more time?

Maybe...

No way

. .

I must have overthought.

You're both all right.

And you're full of vigor.

Why is your face red?

He's being shy.

The ginseng

in your ginseng and wolfberry tea

isn't very good, huh?

And.. .

The ginseng in yesterday's tea

didn't taste right, either.

If you like ginseng,

I'll buy the best ones

for you.

Why must you use ginseng?

I just made

some healthy drinks

with drugs similar to ginseng.

It's hard to find good ginseng

in the world.

Even if I find some,

I should use it to treat patients.

You really never forget

your duty as a great doctor.

Take your time

for this send-off meeting.

I'm going to Tang Clan in Shu Region

to interrogate Tang Yang.

I should go. See you around.

You just let her go like that?

Umm...

Don't... Don't be angry.

It's harmful to your health.

me

that you came to Bailu City, huh?

And in front of so many people,

you poisoned me and ruined my face

so that I wouldn't be implied.

I'm aware.

You did all these things

for her, right?

But this trip is very dangerous.

If she goes alone ,

can you really rest assured?

Could you cut it out?

Don't you want your face cured?

Calm down.

Well,

I may look unreliable,

but I know exactly

what I can say to her

and what I can't.

You 're nearly

a perfect man.

But you always say something you don't really mean.

You should...

Stop doing that.

Take it orally. For your face.

Thank you.

You...

You've never

said thank you to me.

[Tang's Mansion]
