[Mirror: A Tale of Twin Cities]

[Episode 42]

Strange. Why hasn't anyone tried to block me this whole way here?

Yu Huan.

What are you doing?

Once the barrier for Wuse City was broken,

the corridor I was in would have immediately disappeared.

You knew about this from the start, didn't you?

I was testing you.

Testing me? This test will kill me!

If you can't even survive that,

how are you going to be the commander of the Five Masters?

How can you hold the position of Commanding General?

What a pity.

The Spirit Mirror Stage...

you failed again!

You can use me...

to remove those that you want to get rid of.

But I also want the position that I deserve.

Having ambition is a good thing,

but do you have that capability?

My Lord, I bet you probably have no more soldiers

and no more chess pieces to deploy.

I can capture the person who holds the heavenly power,

but please also remember my condition.

Naturally.

Master Peng, the person has arrived.

Yan Xi. Yan Xi.

Yan Xi, wake up!

Yan Xi! Yan Xi!

You may leave.

This isn't what Yan Xi really wants to do!

What exactly did you do to Yan Xi?

So you captured me because of this ring?

Don't waste time talking.

Give me the ring.

Yan Xi. Yan Xi!

Wake up! Wake up, Yan Xi!

What's wrong, Yan Xi?

Yan Xi! Yan Xi!

Wait!

The Cangliu cannot use this ring.

Release me and Yan Xi, and I'll tell you how to use the ring.

You are in no position to bargain right now.

Give it here.

Give it here.

Heaven, oh Heaven.

Why aren't you reacting at all at a time like this?

Yan Xi, let's go!

Stop!

Yan Xi! Yan Xi!

Arrest them!

Are you okay, Yan Xi?

Yan Xi, wake up!

Stupid girl, do you think with the Heavenly Ring

you are as important as the Emperor of the Sea and the Crown Prince?

If you try to play tricks again,

I'll peel his skin off,

fry it, and feed it to you.

- Yan Xi! Yan Xi! - Take him away!

Yan Xi! Yan Xi!

- Go! - Yan Xi!

Yan Xi!

Let go of me!

Yan Xi!

What are you thinking about?

Nothing much.

If one day you can live to 1,000 years like we do,

what would you want to do?

In the first hundred years, taste all the best wines in the world with you.

The Remember Home wine that was brewed by Queen Bai Wei over 7,000 years ago

is supposed to be pretty good. I'd like to try it.

You want to see me exhale bubbles for a hundred years?

What else?

Every year come to the Flower Festival with you and make a wish.

Then in 1,000 years, I can make over 1,000 wishes.

Why don't you make a wish to me then?

The probability of success would be higher.

Is there anything that you want to do by yourself?

No.

Nothing?

If I'm by myself,

why live that long?

All that I want

is for you to live on and live happily.

Live a long, long time.

Even if I use up all my strength

and exhaust everything I have.

I finally sold everything.

You've come late.

All the wishing plaques are sold out.

Sold out so early?

They're arresting people everywhere now.

Everyone is hurrying to make their wishes before nightfall to get home sooner.

The more not at peace we are, the better my business is.

I don't really know if this is a good thing or a bad thing.

You two are so lucky. This is the last wishing plaque.

It's fated to have met each other.

I'll gift you this last wishing plaque then.

Thank you.

I'm leaving.

[Live happily forever]

I'll fulfill Bai Lin's wish.

Why did you hang a blank wishing plaque?

Many people don't have the chance to come to the Flower Festival. This blank wishing plaque

is to wish for more people to have their wishes fulfilled.

Why don't you ever make a wish?

I hope that I can fulfill my own wish.

Actually, after experiencing the Six Star Reversal Formation,

I thought through a lot of things.

It's been 100 years. I've experienced struggles

and fears about turning into ash.

But none of that is important now.

With you by my side, I'm very content.

It's a blessing if you can succeed.

A gift. If it's not possible,

I don't think I'll be afraid either.

I will definitely succeed.

I still have the rest of my life to spend with you.

Believe in me.

Although...

I didn't regain all my memories,

your voice has always been in my mind.

You said,

Everything will be as I wish.

"Everything will be as I wish."

We'll survive.

We'll…

"We'll survive."

So, Su Mo,

you're my faith.

In the name of the Star Soul,

my blood as oath,

the seven seas and sky,

live and die together.

[Master Peng's Residence - Cangliu]

What's this?

It was on Yu Zhu.

Why did Lord Zhi Zhe suddenly call all Five Masters

to the tower?

Is he suspicious?

So you're suspicious of her?

Arrest her.

Where is she?

Bring her up here.

Master Peng, when you unify Cangliu in the future,

with this gift for you, on my behalf,

I hope you can give Fei Lian a way out.

Master Lang,

I want you to do one more thing.

Please go ahead, Master Peng.

Kill Zhi Zhe.

- Tonight? - Since he's already suspicious,

we can't wait any longer.

Yu Zhu, you're crying again.

When I first brought you

and your brother here,

you were also ashen and crying

from having been bullied.

I'm crying...

because I can't see my brother A'Huan.

Master Peng,

all these years,

it wasn't just my brother who saw you as a father.

I...

also wanted to call you my father.

I also often wondered,

how great it would be...

my children.

[Cangliu - Imperial Prison]

Yan Xi. Yan Xi.

- Water. - Water.

- Water. - Water.

Water.

There's no water!

Is anyone there? Help!

Help! Is anyone there?

Someone help! Help!

Help! Is there any water?

Someone help!

Yan Xi.

Yan Xi. How are you doing?

Yan Xi. Why did you help me?

You don't even recognize me anymore. Why did you help me?

What do I do? He's badly hurt.

We're done for.

You're badly hurt.

You're the same as when I first met you.

Wake up.

No. Wait a minute.

I had snow poppies then,

but I have nothing now. What should I do?

Na Sheng.

What?

- Na Sheng. - I'm here, I'm here.

Don't leave.

I'm not leaving. I'm not going anywhere.

Yan Xi.

Sometimes I wonder about how great it would be

if you had never met me.

That way,

you wouldn't be like this now either.

If Heaven hadn't chosen me,

I wouldn't be hunted down either.

I could be living a carefree life.

Yan Xi.

But if I hadn't met you,

then I wouldn't have fallen in love.

And I wouldn't have met Brother Ice Cube,

Sister Bai Ying, Brother Crown Prince, and Uncle Xi Jing.

I've had so many happy days

with all of you.

I've had more happy days than the days I spent on the Central Plains.

Now that I think about it,

it's actually not that bad

to have the power of Heaven.

What do you want? Don't come over here!

- You… What are you doing?! - Come with me.

- Where are we going? - I'll kill him if you waste any more time.

Don't! Don't kill him! Don't kill him!

Please, I beg you. Can you bring him with us?

- Please. - Do you want to die with him?

No, no. Can you give him a drink of water?

He's thirsty. Just a sip.

Let go of me! Yan Xi!

Yan Xi! Wait for me to come back!

When I get back, I'll return to Biluo Sea with you!

Yan Xi!

Let go of me! Yan Xi!

- Your Highness, High Priest. - Did you find Na Sheng?

The cloak is on the verge of losing its efficiency.

We searched the log cabin at Jing Lake and all the surrounding places they might have gone,

but we still couldn't find them.

Could they have been captured?

Isn't Yan Xi protecting Na Sheng? What on earth is going on?

Since we haven't heard from them in so long,

I'm afraid it's more likely that they're in trouble.

High Priest, can this Water Mirror still find Na Sheng?

Your Highness, it's completely destroyed.

Where's A'Ying?

She should be at the Great Camp of Jing Lake.

Okay. I'll go look for them.

There's so many of you and you still can't beat one Yu Huan!

My Lord, I'll go after the bearer of the heavenly power.

No need.

Set up an inescapable net in the Hall of the Five Masters.

Kill Yu Huan as soon as he gets back.

Yes.

I knew...

you were the most obedient one.

Hong Yan and the others have been out looking, but they still can't find Na Sheng.

Before Na Sheng said that she found something wrong with Yan Xi.

There were many things off about Yan Xi ever since he got back.

What was off?

I think it could be Cangliu's mind control technique.

- Young Master. - You're back.

Where are Yan Xi and Na Sheng?

At the entrance to Jing City's prison, I saw Yu Huan take Na Sheng away.

He was being very careful so I couldn't follow him.

Na Sheng wasn't with Yan Xi?

No, but I've already asked the people at the post to continue to look for him.

Yu Huan left with Na Sheng in a hurry.

I'm worried that Na Sheng's life is in jeopardy, so I rushed back here first.

When we went to Jing City to look for news,

Yu Huan was already on the wanted list. Where could he go?

He can't go back to Master Peng. Yu Huan probably took Na Sheng to Jing Pagoda.

Continue to look into this.

Yes.

It seems that we need to go to Jing Pagoda.

Su Mo.

Catch.

Use its power to its fullest extent

with your power of the dragon deity.

We've been wishing for freedom for too long.

Our people can't wait any longer.

This battle is unpredictable.

The only thing I can do is give it my all.

Master, wait for me to get back.

Return safely, Emperor of the Sea.

My Lord.

I brought you the bearer of Heaven, Na Sheng.

Come in.

You don't need to come in. I have something important for you to do.

The Five Masters are setting up a rebellion.

After you settle this,

I'll give you what you want.

What about my sister then?

Yu Zhu...

should've already gone down to relay the edict.

Heaven chose you.

You're not the only thing I want.

I also want Heaven, Earth,

and Su Mo to die with you.

Just wait patiently.

Let me go!

Na Sheng!

It doesn't work.

Na Shang, get up. Are you all right?

I'm fine. Where's Sister Bai Ying and Brother Ice Cube?

You didn't see them?

No.

Could they…

Na Sheng, first we're going to remove the last seal.

We'll meet up with them after I regain my strength.

Okay. That works.

Let's go.

There are books everywhere. How will we find it?

Na Sheng, use the heavenly power to see if you can find any clues.

Okay.

[Dark Golden Classics]

Dark Golden Classics. So it was here.

The hope that just appeared was fake.

I didn't expect the last seal

to be hidden in the Dark Golden Classics.

Brother Crown Prince.

You're finally here...

This should be the first time we're officially meeting.

Should I be calling you Zhi Zhe...

or Lang Gan?

Why ask if you already know the answer?

A'Ying is in danger.

I'm a deity from the clans of Yunfu City.

If you want to defeat me, then wait another 7,000 years!

That light is...

Pojun. (T/N: Eastern most star of the Big Dipper)

The reappearance of Pojun will cause worldwide turbulence.

Zhi Zhe's energy triggered the reappearance of Pojun.

We must find him soon, otherwise it'll harm the people of Yunhuang.

Sister!

Sister!

You want to find your sister?

Who are you?

- Who are you? - I've summoned you before.

If you surrender to me,

not only can you protect your sister, but you can also have all of Yunhuang.

Haven't you always wanted to work your way up and decide your own fate?

What are you waiting for? Hand yourself

over to me.

All right.

Uncle.

What happened?

We thought that beheading him

was the best way to keep Yu Huan under control.

Unexpectedly...

Uncle.

Unexpectedly...

Kill them!

Run...

You must run.

Report!

General Yu Huan, General Fei Lian has already broken his way in.

- We couldn't stop him at all. - Get out!

- Let him in! - Yes.

Yu Huan! I didn't expect to be stopped here!

Stop right there!

Did you come to get revenge for Master Lang?

You think I don't want to?

I'm here to talk you into stopping this.

Stopping this?

Why should I?

Where can I go?

I know that you hate Master Peng for killing your sister.

I know you hate the Five Masters for torturing and using you.

- But the people of Yunhuang are innocent. - So what?

The only family I had is dead.

I want all of Cangliu to be buried with my sister.

Your closest family?

You killed the only relative of mine. What else do you want!

What about mine!

Because she wanted to protect me,

she died a violent death.

Do you know?

A merpersons heart

lies in the middle.

Mine's...

long gone.

Yan Xi? Yan Xi!

Yan Xi, you've woken up.

Na Sheng...

I'm sorry.

I shouldn't have taken you to Jing City.

I don't blame you.

Yan Xi, I don't blame you.

After going through life-and-death situations,

we should cherish each other.

I told you before

that when I got back,

I'd go back to Biluo Sea with you.

Are you willing to take me with you?

That would be the greatest honor in my life.

Greetings, Emperor of the Sea.

Please rise.

I don't know why the Emperor of the Sea asked us to come here?

A few days ago Zhi Zhe ran away.

Currently, his energy is still lurking in Yunhuang, poisoning the people

and controlling everything.

Who in the world is Zhi Zhe then?

Do you all know about Yunfu City?

Yunfu City is inhabited by the nine deity clans.

7,000 years ago, Lang Gan came to Yunhuang and became the Heavenly King.

Later on, he became Zhi Zhe.

So that means, Zhi Zhe was controlling everything

behind the scenes?

That's right.

After the Jing Pagoda battle,

we destroyed Zhi Zhe's body,

but he transferred his power to Yu Huan.

Zhi Zhe is gone!

The Five Masters are dead!

From now on, I am the sole leader of Cangliu!

Yu Huan has already become the new leader of Cangliu.

Right now, he's arresting those who would try to stop him.

I've immediately invited the Crown Prince of Kongsang and Princess Bai over

to discuss together how to deal with Yu Huan.

All of you already know by now, right?

We're going to discuss with the Emperor of the Sea the battle with Yu Huan.

When we beat Yu Huan,

we'll be able to return to Yunhuang.

Yan Xi, hear my order. You must guard the Quanxian Camp

and protect everyone while I'm not here.

I'll obey your command.

- Honor and respect General Yu Huan! - Honor and respect General Yu Huan!

Elder Quan.

Emperor of the Sea, please give your orders.

I hope all elders will help Yan Xi

protect the Quanxian Camp.

Please rest assured, Emperor of the Sea.

We will do our very best.

You must be extra careful as well.

Right now, Yu Huan is killing dissidents everywhere.

Using cruel and merciless methods, it's like he's lost his mind.

That's why we must hurry and stop him before he goes completely crazy.

Zhi Zhe came to find me.

I've agreed.

Yu Huan, right now he's slowly absorbing your will!

Don't be fooled by him!

You've exposed Puojun. If you're bewitched by Zhi Zhe,

then there will be no peace in Yunhuang anymore

and more innocent people will be dragged into this!

Is this what you want?

I want to renounce this entire world!
