I quickly want to just talk about the different lecture types that we've added 3

to make this course as interesting as possible. 4

So we have a few different lecture types 5

that you'll see as you scroll through the content of the course. 6

Sometimes it's just the lecture title, 7

but then sometimes you'll see things 8

that say like visual guide or advanced or assignment. 9

So the first type is a basic video lecture 10

and that's all of these lessons that just had the title, 11

if you click on that it's going to play a video for that lecture. 12

Next, we have Visual Guides, which is a graphic 13

that we've put together to help you understand a major concept, 14

you can view them in the class 15

or you can even download them for you to take on the go. 16

In many sections, you will see advanced lessons. 17

These are video lectures but they are on a more advanced topic 18

and these are meant for you to watch if you are ready for them. 19

They are meant to be skipped if you aren't ready for them. 20

Next we have Pro tips which are articles that are a little bit more advanced 21

that will really take your skills to the next level, 22

most of these can be downloaded as PDFs as well. 23

Then, we have assignments, 24

assignments are a great way for you to get out there take action, 25

the way they work on Udemy is that you have the instructions, 26

26

you click start assignment and then you just go through the steps. 27

You can also go ahead and skip these assignments, 28

these are really there for you to enjoy to learn from 29

and also to provide feedback to other students with. 30

And then we have Photo Chats, 31

these are a bit longer, more drawn-out, 32

we cover things in a little bit more depth, 33

like for this example, 34

I talked about buying a new camera, it's over 20 minutes long 35

and it's just a discussion on all the things 36

that I would personally take into account when I buy a new camera. 37

And you'll see these lessons described as a photo chat, 38

at the beginning of the lecture title. 39

And we'll be adding more of these in the future. 40

And then finally, at the end of each section, 41

we have a list of supplemental materials, 42

these can be articles or bonus videos, links to some sort of resource 43

that we think will be helpful to you to further understand 44

the main concepts of that section. 45
