♫Fall in love with your uniqueness♫

[Perfect Mismatch]

[Episode 14]

Didn't you say you're adjusting the breathing?

What is this?

I'm practicing.

Mr. Zhou, you don't exercise a lot.

So you may not know

no matter what kind of training you do,

core strength is a very important part of any training.

When the core is in motion,

feeling the change in breathing rate

is the fastest way to train.

Right.

It's okay, Huahua. We're not in a hurry.

I've got a special programme for you later.

No need for that.

Why?

A champion like Mr. Duan

teaching a landlubber like you to swim from scratch

is a total waste of time.

It's okay. Teaching Huahua isn't a waste of time.

Mr. Duan, you don't have to be so polite.

A champion like you

should be matched with a competitive opponent.

Zhi'ang learned to swim as a child.

You two should learn from each other.

I'm sure you'll improve.

Idol, I've been dreaming of this day for a long time.

Come on, let's pump iron now.

Ten sets.

Huahua!

It's okay, Jiayang.

You can practice with Zhi'ang.

Go for it, Zhi'ang!

Mr. Zhou,

only we two amateurs

can practice together.

Amateurs?

I'll show you there are many folk masters.

That's great! That's great! That's great!

Hello, sir.

Hello, how are you?

Excuse me,

is Mr. Zhou Zhifei here?

Do you have an appointment?

Yes, appointment.

[Shen Jun]

[Xingchen Capital]

Do you think I still need an appointment?

Excuse me, please wait.

Thank you.

Where's Mr. Zhou?

I'm sorry, Mr. Shen.

Mr. Zhou is not in the company today.

How unfortunate.

When will you be available next time?

I'll arrange it.

Not until the next time.

By the way,

did your company recently

have an airborne supervisor?

It's true that Director Ji has just been appointed.

Where is she? Take me there.

[Certificate of Honor]

Chi, Zhou wants to see me?

Ji Qing.

Long time no see.

Shen Jun?

Oh my God, what is this?

This office is so shabby.

Compared to the one in London,

it's not even close.

Do you think I care about that?

Right. You care about Zhou Zhifei.

Glad that you know it.

It's a tradition in the Zhou Group

that the president marries the spokesperson.

You know that.

Traditions are meant to be broken.

I've already met that Shi Huahua.

She's not good enough for Zhou.

In contrast,

we're childhood sweethearts and friends.

And I know him best.

In life and business,

I'm the one who can help him.

He and I are the best match.

Whether you are compatible or not is a matter of opinion.

I think now Zhou Zhifei

thinks Shi Huahua is the best match for him.

By the way,

I've heard about it in London

that they're living together.

You've come all this way to tell me this?

I'm very busy, do as you please.

No.

I've come back for business too.

But don't worry.

We'll have more and more opportunities to meet in the future.

Ji Qing,

I really like your confidence

and approve of your excellence.

But you've worked so hard

for Zhou Zhifei.

Is it worth it?

Have you thought about your love for him

is out of basic affection

or you're just not resigned to him?

Don't speculate about things you don't know.

But I know you.

I know what's better for you.

Only I can give you these things.

Stop.

If you're talking to me about business,

I'll see you at the negotiating table.

Okay.

[Fire Hydrant]

Mr. Zhou,

didn't you say that there are many folk masters?

[Fire Hydrant]

How come you can't do it?

I can do it.

Then go for it!

Come on.

Hello?

Hello, Mr. Zhou.

I really don't mean to disturb you.

[Fire Hydrant]

But the latest action program of the brand marketing department

needs your signature before passing it.

It's okay. I'll be right back.

Any emergency from the company?

Come back to the company with me. Let's go.

You go first if there's an emergency.

I haven't even started practicing yet.

The marketing department has a new publicity programme.

As the spokesperson,

shouldn't you know about it?

But I've made a deal with Jiayang.

Do you want to be a stumbling block for him to win the championship?

That's right.

Jiayang,

I've got to go.

You can practice on your own today.

I'll see you next time.

Okay, bye.

Let's go.

Bye, Zhi'ang.

Don't stop, idol. Let's continue.

Forget it. Let's stop doing physical training.

Let's go for a swim.

Sorry, Zhi'ang.

I have to shoot

a poster for the Light Oxygen products tomorrow.

I need to go home early today.

Not again?

Oh my god, even the diagram is so cool!

If he had taken this in person...

That's why I said

I'd like to be there when he's filming.

I wish I could ask for leave from work.

We have to find a way.

-Hello, Mr. Zhou. -Hello, Mr. Zhou.

[Feiran Capital]

Mr. Zhou.

I really don't mean to disturb you.

But there's a very important document.

I need you to sign it in person.

Chi,

you've done a very good job.

Of course you have to report company matters to me first.

So measured, and so disciplined.

As expected of my first secretary.

Thank you, Mr. Zhou.

[Signed by General Manager Zhou Zhifei]

Here you are.

By the way, Mr. Zhou, there's one more thing.

Shen Jun from Xingchen Capital came to see you today.

Shen Jun?

He's back home?

But you went out this afternoon.

So he went to see Director Ji.

Okay, I know it.

Okay.

[Feiran Capital]

How's it going?

Did you get the leave?

What kind of reason did you use?

Stomachache during the menstrual period.

Anyway, it was approved.

Xinyu,

do you... do you have a stomachache?

Stomachache?

My stomach seems to be...

Why don't you tell me if you're not feeling well?

I'll check it.

My stomach...

I don't have a stomachache, I have a headache.

I haven't been sleeping well lately.

I've also lost some hair.

Look at me now.

Hello, Mr. Zhou.

[Feiran Capital]

Shi Huahua.

Mr. Zhou, do you want to show me

the new publicity programme?

We're off duty. Let's go.

But didn't you just come back and say

you had some important work to do?

You've dealt with them so soon?

I told you.

I don't need anyone to question my ability to do my job.

An efficient life is just that.

[Feiran Capital]

Mr. Zhou,

may I ask for leave tomorrow?

My sister's wedding is tomorrow.

She wants me to be her bridesmaid.

Mr. Zhou, we are triplets.

We also have a sister.

[Feiran Capital]

Okay.

It seems tomorrow is a good day.

Tomorrow is your day off.

Remember to bring my best wishes.

Shi Huahua, we're off duty. Let's go.

[Feiran Capital]

Say hello for me too.

Bye, see you tomorrow.

I can't believe he agreed.

Is this our Mr. Zhou?

Oh my God!

Huahua is such a mascot to us.

I have to think

what to wear to see Duan Jiayang tomorrow.

Mr. Zhou,

what are you doing here?

Nothing.

What's up?

No.

I just want to say that

it was quite fun

to practice with you today.

Actually, you don't have to ask Duan Jiayang

to practice with you.

I... I can do it too.

I can keep up with your current exercise level.

My body has been improved by you.

I'm not the same person I used to be.

Okay.

That's why you came to see me?

Get some rest.

Good night.

Good night.

We have a very important meeting today.

Do you have the materials ready?

Yes, it's ready.

In which conference room?

No. 2 Conference Room.

Okay.

Where are they?

They all asked for leave.

You approved it yourself yesterday.

What about Shi Huahua?

Miss Shi is shooting posters with Duan Jiayang today.

You also signed the proposal yesterday.

I did?

Just yesterday afternoon.

Mr. Zhou, I really don't mean to disturb you.

But there's a very important document

to be signed.

You've done a very good job.

[Signed by President Zhou Zhifei]

Where are they now?

In the company's PhotoStudio.

Isn't it a very important meeting?

You two can look at each other.

Look at each other.

Huahua,

you two need to make eye contact.

You two are a real couple.

So well matched.

They have good chemistry.

So beautiful!

The new product is going to be a big seller.

Yes, yes!

Ji Qing,

you needn't to

supervise the shooting yourself.

You should go home early and get some rest.

I'm in charge of the project.

I definitely need to keep an eye on this.

Shi Huahua.

Mr. Zhou.

Zhou.

Zhou, why are you here?

Mr. Zhou, why are you here?

What's wrong? Am I interrupting your work?

No.

We've been working well.

Come here and see the photos.

Come here, come here.

Look how sweet they are.

The sales will be very good.

How's it going, Mr. Zhou?

I did well, didn't I?

Don't worry, Mr. Zhou.

Huahua and I are working well together.

It's just a job demand.

Everyone is watching you.

Then continue your job.

Good. Very good.

Why are you leaving?

Zhou.

Miss Ji has finally left.

Go on.

Shooting all day?

[Samples Shooting Group]

I'm done.

Jiayang,

I think today

we cooperated well.

I'm sure it will be even better

when we shoot then.

Huahua, you must be hungry after a long day.

Yes, I'm a bit hungry.

Let's go eat then.

Okay.

You're not back yet.

You even forgot the password?

Zhiran, why are you here?

I'm bored.

Isn't Huahua back yet?

Miss Xiaoxiao showed me the photos

of Jiayang and Huahua.

I have to say

they really look well-matched.

Well-matched?

How can you tell they're a good match?

They're both very healthy and vigorous.

When they're together,

they look like a family.

And when she's with Jiayang,

Huahua is very relaxed.

When she's with you, it's completely different.

It's like when she's with Jiayang,

Huahua can really be herself.

Really?

Thank you for inviting me to dinner today, Jiayang.

You're welcome.

But I've eaten too much again.

Why don't we just go to the natatorium?

It can help digestion.

But it's too late.

It's not safe for you to go home too late.

Don't worry, I know kung fu, okay?

[HIF GYM & Natatorium]

What did I practice last time?

Yes, hand movements and breathing.

[Training Lanes] [Beginners' Lanes]

I feel like I've practiced them enough.

Could I go swimming today?

Huahua.

What's wrong?

Actually, I can't

swim at all now.

Because...

Jiayang,

with the state of your shoulder now,

you need to have surgery right away.

Three months.

For at least three months,

no high intensity training is allowed.

No.

I have to go to the game next month.

Could I have a numbing injection? I'll be fine.

That's ridiculous!

Are you going to risk your whole career?

That's my own business.

Jiayang!

Listen to me.

You're still young.

You can't risk your career.

Co-coach.

I've waited four years.

What about it, coach?

You've had a long break after all.

Recovery is a long process.

Take your time.

Since then,

I haven't swum.

I didn't dare and didn't want to.

[Training Lanes] [Beginners' Lanes]

I have to stay in the gym

to keep up with my daily exercise.

And the results got worse every time.

It was like a nightmare.

[Training Lanes] [Beginners' Lanes]

As soon as I close my eyes,

it all comes back to me.

And here.

It's like it's been sealed.

Jiayang,

I know some medical skills actually.

Our family has been practicing medicine for generations.

Our ancestors solved many incurable cases.

If you trust me,

maybe you can let me help you.

Huahua,

you don't blame me?

Why should I?

Because I'm not the invincible champion

as you thought.

I might

[Swimming Standard System]

never get back in this pool again.

But you never wanted to give up.

If you wanted to give up,

why did you keep training every day?

Why not just announce your retirement in public

so that everyone can remember your greatest moment?

You said

swimming is your lifelong pursuit.

But championships are your obsession.

You've done all these

to get back in the game

and get your championship back.

Do you think it's still possible for me?

Of course.

May I check it?

Come on.

[Swimming Standard System]

Relax.

There's nothing wrong with your shoulder.

The muscle sensitivity is fine.

There are no nodules in the shoulder or neck.

Jiayang, trust me.

There's nothing wrong with your shoulder.

It won't affect your performance underwater.

But I'm still afraid to go into the water.

I can't do it.

What is Shi Huahua doing?

What time is it? Why isn't she back?

Maybe she indulged in pleasure and forgot to go home.

I won't let her come back if she doesn't want to.

Ever since she moved into my house,

I've never had a good day.

Every day, apart from calling me to get up and exercise,

all she does is tell me to take Chinese medicine.

She also makes a mess of the house.

I don't even have the most basic freedom

to dress.

Zhifei, let's not talk about her.

Do you remember I told you about

my participation in the venture contest?

We made it to the finals.

Hello?

No need.

What the heck?

I thought something had happened to Shi Huahua.

Zhifei, are you listening to what I'm saying?

Yes, about the venture contest.

Should we ask Xiaoxiao?

Ask what?

Shi Huahua hasn't come home at this late hour.

What is she doing?

Zhifei, don't you have anything to say to me?

Wh-what?

Since just now,

you've been talking about Shi Huahua all the time.

You don't even care about

what I told you.

Am I so unimportant to you?

No, Zhiran.

How could you think that?

I'm just...

Worried about her?

I'm worried about the company.

She's the spokesperson of Feiran now,

so she represents me.

If anything goes wrong with her,

I'll be humiliated.

Zhifei, I'll leave now.

Zhiran.

Why are you going back so soon?

Where is Shi Huahua?

[HIF GYM & Natatorium]

Huahua!

Can I leave now?

No hurry.

Jiayang,

see?

Your whole body can now enter the pool.

That's a breakthrough.

I don't think you'll have any more problems.

Come on!

[Women's Dressing Room]

[Women's Dressing Room]

[Women's Dressing Room]

For at least three months,

no high intensity training is allowed.

That's ridiculous!

Are you going to pay the price of your whole career?

[Women's Dressing Room]

Jiayang.

I can't believe someone is still training.

Sorry, Huahua.

I've disappointed you again.

It's okay, Jiayang.

I just don't understand.

You could

get into the pool.

Why can't you do it?

Can't you

swim at all?

I don't know, Huahua.

This is not a pool.

This is my battlefield.

That injury two years ago

totally knocked me down.

Thank you for being there for me

and helping me recover.

But... I really don't seem to have the courage

to go back.

I may never be able to swim again.

What did you say?

Zhi'ang.

You heard it all?

Duan Jiayang,

how long are you going to lie to everyone?

I've idolized you for a long time.

Zhifei even invited you to be the spokesperson.

Aren't you ashamed of yourself?

Zhi'ang,

Jiayang has his reasons.

He didn't mean to hide it from everyone.

Stop it, Huahua.

It's all my fault.

I lied to everyone.

Huahua, wake up.

A man who ran away from the battlefield

can never be called as a hero.

Duan Jiayang,

I bought the same swimming goggles for you.

Zhi'ang, why are you here?

I'm here to see Zhifei.

He's been off early these days. He's in a bad mood.

Bad mood?

What's wrong?

Your brother is a jealous man.

He's trapped in love.

What's the matter? You want to see him?

Nothing. As he's in a bad mood,

I won't bother him.

Maybe next time.

We're shooting the commercial tomorrow.

Thanks for your help

for finding Duan Jiayang this time.

I'm so sorry.

I haven't even thanked you properly.

Xiaoxiao, you don't have to be so polite to me.

Work is work.

No time like the present.

Let's go. I'll buy you dinner.

Sure.

Zhi'ang,

I know your intention.

You're a good man. I know.

Can I say no to being friendzoned?

No. To be frank,

you're a good man.

But I'm a bad person.

There is no way that I, Nangong Xiaoxiao,

can be with you.

Xiaoxiao, you don't like me.

I understand.

Because even I don't like myself.

I've been swimming for so many years,

but I accomplished nothing.

I can't do anything right.

Even the idol I've always admired,

the goal I've been pursuing,

in the end, are shams.

My life is a joke.

Xiaoxiao,

I'm not good enough for you.

Don't worry.

From now on, I won't pester you.

I will retreat to the position of a stranger.

I won't bother you.

It's not your problem.

Even we can't be lovers,

we can be friends.

Come on, drink it up.

We're bros now.

Zhi'ang,

do you think I'm a terrible person?

No.

I think you're great.

It's not that I don't believe in you.

I just don't believe in love.

My first boyfriend chased after me for six years.

But we broke up a month after we got together.

After he got me,

I'd fallen from grace.

And then, all the hopes before

turned into disappointment.

Then he cheated on me.

That's men.

Xiaoxiao,

you have to believe

that you'll meet a good man.

Come on.

Xiaoxiao,

tonight,

you can tell me whatever you want.

I'm listening.

[Caution]

[Drive With Caution]

Xiaoxiao,

you are not

as heartless as you said.

And in this world,

there is still someone who loves you with all his heart.

Calm down, Nangong Xiaoxiao.
