Previously on The Penthouse 3.

Don't act like you know me.

I don't want to see you again!

If anything happens to me,

promise you'll take care of Ro Na.

He'll rot there for the rest of his life.

Mr. Baek Jun Ki?

Baek... Baek Jun Ki?

Logan is alive. Mom's just fine too.

I can't let it end like this.

I want to go back!

Why is this so special that everyone's fighting to keep this?

So that there's no more fighting, we must end this place too.

I'll erase all your bad memories, Mom.

The two must experience what living in torment is like.

I'm here for the money he borrowed from us.

I'm the chairwoman of Cheong A Group!

Did you know that Cheong A Constructions...

filed for bankruptcy?

Ms. Cheon!

Where should I take you?

Hera Palace.

Take me to Hera Palace in Samseong-dong.

(Episode 12)

Eun Byeol.

Where is she?

Eun Byeol.

Eun Byeol.

Eun Byeol.

There you are.

I've been looking everywhere for you.

Ms. Cheon.

We have no time to lose.

It's my inauguration ceremony today.

Our outfits are ready.

Come. We'll be late.

Ms. Cheon, let go of me. I'm not Eun Byeol.

Why won't you listen to me? Do as I say!

You're my daughter. You must attend the ceremony.

Everything I have will be yours. Come now.

Come! Hurry!

Listen to me!

- Ms. Cheon, why are you... - Come!

- Come, Eun Byeol. - I'm not Eun Byeol.

Hurry. Come.

Stop it, Seo Jin.

Why are you here?

Are you here to take Eun Byeol away from me?

You can't! I'll never let that happen!

What are you doing? She's not your daughter!

Yes, she is! You can't take her away!

Eun Byeol, come to your mom.

Ro Na, run, now!

No! Eun Byeol!

- Get it together, Seo Jin! - Eun Byeol!

Ro Na, are you okay?

Are you out of your mind? Where are you taking her?

She's my daughter!

Ro Na!

Mr. Ha, are you okay?

Eun Byeol!

We don't have time for this. Come with me now.

Why are you so stubborn?

- Eun Byeol! - Ms. Cheon.

Come with me.

Eun Byeol!

What happened here?

What a mess.

Ro Na! Dr. Ha!

Oh, my. Excuse me!

We need help! Quickly!

Hello? Some people got badly injured.

At the community room in Hera Palace.

Please come over right now.

I did it all by myself.

I don't have a family.

My mom is dead,

and it's been a while since I cut ties with my brother.

So just send me to prison.

Seok Kyung.

Why did you call them?

I have nothing to do with them. I don't know them.

I'm Seok Kyung's mom.

Mom? She's not my mom.

I'm not your daughter. We're strangers.

Give it a rest.

What is Seok Kyung doing here?

Your daughter helped the fugitive Joo Dan Tae...

flee to Japan.

She even took the boat with him...

and went to Japan. We've confirmed that.

Now, why don't you tell us the truth?

Were you really acting alone?

Where did you get the money to help him flee?

I have a lot of money.

My real mom left me quite a big inheritance.

This lady and my dad got divorced years ago,

and I lived with my dad.

He kept begging me, so I had to help him.

Is it a crime for a daughter to help her dad?

So, where in Japan did you send him?

I don't know.

I split after I saw him arrive in Japan.

Stop lying.

If you won't even believe me, why do you bother asking?

If you want to investigate properly, get rid of these people first.

Otherwise, I won't say a peep.

Do you think this is a game?

So just lock me up!

I helped my dad run away.

Why are you bringing in people who have nothing to do with it...

and humiliating me?

It's a mental hospital in Fukuoka.

I'm sure he's there.

Ask Interpol for cooperation and send Joo Dan Tae's description.

Yes, sir.

We may have more questions for you at a later time.

I understand.

- Get ready to travel. - Yes, sir.

- Get off. - Where are you going now?

Does running away like a child solve everything?

I said I'll take responsibility.

I said I'll go to jail for it. Why is everyone stopping me?

How did you know?

How did you know to go to Busan Port?

I heard Seok Hoon talk on the phone with you.

Are you saying you followed Mom?

Why did you go to Japan? Have you no fear?

I wanted to see it for myself.

I wanted to see Dad's demise.

The mental hospital was nicer than I expected.

I'll never see him again.

It was only right that I saw him off.

Don't worry about me. I'm legally his daughter,

so they can't punish me for helping him flee.

How could you go somewhere so dangerous alone?

Do you know how worried we were when you disappeared?

Why were you worried about a spoiled brat like me?

You know I'll survive no matter what because I take after Dad.

Must you talk like that?

I can't help it. This is who I am.

Have you eaten?

Let's go eat.

You've lost weight.

Just eat.

You need your energy...

to fight with me or hate me.

Here.

You want me to eat and get lost, right?

Fine. I'll eat then.

You were my daughter from the start.

There wasn't a moment when you and Seok Hoon weren't my kids.

It wasn't your fault that you grew up under Dan Tae,

unaware of anything.

No. It was my fault.

Seol A almost died because of me.

I was the one who set the van on fire.

I was the one who locked her in there and ran.

It's my fault that Ro Na's mom died too.

Someone like me isn't worthy of being your daughter.

I hate myself so much, it's driving me crazy.

How could I insist that I'm your daughter now?

So? Will you run away again?

Will you keep running away without repenting?

You did it.

It may hurt but face it. Don't avoid it.

That way, there will be a way back.

My daughter grew up a lot while I was away.

Let's go home. I fixed up your room nicely.

I was wrong.

I'm sorry, Mom.

I was so wrong.

I've missed you so much.

I missed you so much, I thought I was going to die.

(Jenny's mother)

Hello?

Why won't your mom pick up?

It's terrible. There was an accident at Hera Palace.

What do you mean,

there was an accident?

- How are the vitals? - They're weak.

We'll begin. Forceps.

The BP is dropping.

- It's dangerous. - We'll start right away.

- Hi. - What happened?

My gosh. Dr. Ha was badly injured.

It was that witch Seo Jin's fault.

His head is bleeding badly. He's in surgery now.

Why was Seo Jin at Hera Palace?

My point exactly. I think she has completely snapped.

She was calling Ro Na "Eun Byeol" and said she'd take her.

She caused a big scene, which resulted in this mess.

How's Ro Na?

Thankfully, she wasn't injured.

Where's Seo Jin?

Let go. I have to go see my mom.

She's out of surgery and is in recovery now.

The chandelier fell from the ceiling but she lucked out and survived.

Your mom is just incredible.

She's putting on an act...

because the company went under and she's cornered, isn't she?

She's faking being crazy.

- What? - Even still.

Mistaking Ro Na for her daughter? That was a bit much.

How could she make a mistake like that?

Or did something really happen to her brain?

Shut it! What do you know?

Wake up, Seo Jin. Wake up right now.

You can't fool me.

Wake up!

What are you doing?

My mom is sick right now.

Your mom is putting on an act.

She's about to lose everything, so she's pretending to be crazy.

Hey! Ms. Shim!

That's so cold.

Drop the act.

Do you think this will let you avoid being investigated?

Being mentally unstable won't work.

I said to stop!

My mom really is sick. Don't you see she's hurt?

I won't let anyone mistreat my mom.

I'm her guardian from now on. Get out of here right now!

Get rid of this woman.

And don't let anyone come into this room. No one!

You need to go.

Let go of me!

I'll walk out on my own.

Don't think it's over, Seo Jin.

I'll follow you to the ends of the earth and destroy you.

Mom. Are you okay?

What happened to you?

Who are you?

Mom.

Do you know me?

Where am I?

- Mom. - What is this?

Why are you doing this?

Mom!

Snap out of it, Mom. Stop playing with me.

Mom, stop it.

Mom...

- Who are you people? - Move!

Cheon Seo Jin!

No!

- Stop it! - Drop the act.

- No! - Get away!

- Those of you outside, get in here! - No! Stop it! Mom!

- Stop doing that to my mom! - Get away.

- Get away! - Drag her out here!

- No! Get away! - Hey.

- Get back! - Get her!

His vitals are dropping.

Up the norpin and get more blood.

Yes, doctor.

Thank goodness you weren't hurt more.

How is Mr. Ha doing?

He's in surgery.

He'll be okay, right?

He has to be okay.

Of course.

He'll get through the surgery and wake up.

Don't worry.

He got hurt instead of me.

Trying to save me.

What should I do?

If something were to happen to him, I won't be able to stand it.

I can't lose both Mom and him too.

I'd feel too guilty.

That won't happen.

Dr. Ha's a strong person.

He'll get through this.

(Intensive Care)

I think she's temporarily confused due to the accident.

They'll run some in-depth tests tomorrow.

What about my dad? Is he in bad shape?

The surgery's taking longer than expected.

He was hurt badly in the head. We'll hear more after the surgery.

It was my fault.

Both Mom and Dad, everything.

It was my fault.

How long will you stay here for?

Can you do this to someone who just got out of surgery?

Why? Are you hungry?

Come here.

You can join us for some Chinese.

What you're doing is called illegal collecting.

If I call the police, they'll take you all in!

Call the police, then.

Don't touch the girl.

Why come to us about Chairman Joo's debt?

Why is it us when he has two legitimate kids?

Cheon Seo Jin's his wife.

Who told her to be his guarantor?

Where's Joo Dan Tae? Where are you hiding him?

You little punk.

No, don't.

Unless Joo Dan Tae dies,

Cheon Seo Jin or her daughter...

will have to pay us back until the day they die.

Okay?

You can't get away from us.

So go and find Joo Dan Tae!

Don't!

Move!

Stop it!

Where's Joo Dan Tae?

Where is he, punk?

You have a pretty face.

You could be worth a lot.

Where do you want to go?

Where is he?

- My ear! - Get her off him.

Grab her!

Hey!

Maybe she's not crazy.

Will you all just get out?

Get out! Get out of here!

- Leave! - Where's our money?

I'll call the police!

- Get out! - Stop it!

Get out!

Get out! Leave!

Cheon Seo Jin! I'll be back for my money, okay?

It's okay, Mom.

Mom!

It's okay. Don't worry.

Mr. Baek, it's time for your psychological treatment.

Get him!

Get off me!

Let go of me.

Let go!

Find him. Where did he go?

Shim Su Ryeon, Logan Lee. This time I'll kill you for real.

Eat up, even if you don't want to.

Don't you lift a finger for a while.

I'll do everything for you.

Drink some water. Slow down or you'll get sick.

I'm not a patient.

How are you not a patient?

You fell down a staircase.

There's no medicine for shock, and I'm so worried.

I got your medicine.

What are you doing here? You're not welcome.

Ro Na's suffering already.

Do you hope to be let off by bringing her medicine?

Does that cancel out all you did?

Did I say that?

Neither you nor Ro Na will accept my apology.

You hate me and won't forgive me. I know that.

Then why bother coming here?

Did you come to stare at a sick person?

We don't need your apology, so get lost.

You evil brat.

Do it anyway.

Whether I accept it or not is up to me.

You should apologize. Until I accept it.

Apologize and ask for forgiveness.

Look back and think about what you did to my mom and me.

Think about what happens next after that.

Let's go.

Hello? Will you let me out?

You murderer.

How dare you come here so shamelessly?

- Joo Seok Kyung! - I don't believe you're not guilty.

You killed my mom.

(Go away, murderer.)

Get rid of a mudfish for me.

(Cheong A Group)

Do whatever it takes to make Ro Na ruin her exam.

Don't worry. Dad will sort it out for you.

- Ms. Kang. - Yes?

Can you take me to the hospital?

What for? Do you feel unwell?

I want to visit Dr. Ha.

I'll visit him every day.

What's the point in doing that when he's not awake yet?

You're not well yourself.

Just in case. He might be able to hear.

If I do something, it might help him wake up sooner.

Yes. You're right.

Okay.

Watch your step. Take your time.

- Jenny, let's go. - Okay.

- Walk slowly. - Carefully.

Let's go.

The brain damage is worse than I thought.

It was a dangerous spot, so I couldn't do anything.

Is it possible that he won't wake up?

We must...

wait and see to find out.

After what she did to Dr. Ha,

Cheon Seo Jin asked for police protection.

The loan sharks were thrown out of the hospital this morning.

She's being protected when she should be punished.

It makes no sense.

Let's just release the last part of the dashcam footage.

I won't make the same mistake twice.

Cheon Seo Jin will use her weak condition...

to get away with her crime again.

I will send her to the fiery pit with my own hands.

We have a problem.

Joo Dan Tae escaped from the Japanese mental hospital.

What?

Okay.

What a persistent guy.

I gave him one last chance to repent until he dies,

and even that he lets go.

Joo Dan Tae will come back to Korea.

Then you may be put in danger.

That's something I must face.

If this game can end...

only when one of us dies,

I won't hide.

Since he has no money and no passport,

it will be hard for him to return to Korea all by himself.

Who do you think he'll call first?

Son.

Are you okay?

Where are you?

Do you have any idea how worried we've been?

Shim Su Ryeon locked me up in a mental hospital.

I barely escaped.

Mom did?

No way.

Are you hurt?

You didn't hear anything from your mom?

I heard Logan came back to life.

Do you really have no idea what those two scumbags...

are planning?

It's been a while since they met.

Mom is planning on going back to the US with Logan.

Darn it!

She does this to me, and then she wants to be happy on her own?

Seok Hoon, help me out.

I never killed Ro Na's mom.

I saw with my own eyes Cheon Seo Jin pushing the car off the cliff.

I'm innocent.

Unless you want to be the son of a murderer, you have to help me out.

I can only make things right if I make it back.

Seok Hoon, you have to trust me.

How can I help?

Help me get back to Korea.

I must get back to Hera Palace.

Even if I die, I'll die there.

In the castle, I built with my own hands.

You're the only one I can ask for a favor.

I have a friend in Fukuoka.

I'll call him.

Go to Hakata now.

I'll prepare the money and fake passport as well.

Thank you, Seok Hoon. Really.

Come back safe first. Then we can think about what to do next.

I'll find a ship that leaves the earliest.

See you tomorrow at dawn at Busan Port.

Seok Hoon. I can...

trust you, right?

Of course.

I'm your only son.

Okay. Understood.

You were exactly right.

I'm sorry to ask you to do this, Seok Hoon.

I gave up on him a long time ago.

I feel no compassion or remorse.

If I could,

I want to end him with my hands.

You stay here. Let me do the rest.

No. I'm coming.

Dad will find out soon enough,

what it's like to be abandoned by your child.

As Joo Dan Tae escaped, the coastal security has been strengthened.

Police officers will be surrounding Busan Port.

We can't let the police take Joo Dan Tae.

We have to catch him first.

We must hurry if we want to make it to Busan Port.

(Ye Ji)

Hey!

Search the area. Now!

Joo Dan Tae must have known.

What a rat.

Joo Seok Hoon.

I knew I couldn't trust you.

You betray me and team up with Shim Su Ryeon?

I think he already escaped Busan Port.

He got on a fishing boat, that's for sure.

I checked the picture of him on that boat.

He must have escaped before the smuggling ship got here.

It did cross my mind, but I didn't know he would doubt you too.

Seok Hoon was just a way for him to come back to Korea.

If we just wait, he's probably going to get back at us.

He'll try to use...

Seok Hoon and Seok Kyung when he's in danger.

The kids shouldn't get hurt.

He's a master of crime and disguise.

If he really tries to hide, there is no way of finding him.

The police also have no idea where he is.

He said that he must come back to Hera Palace.

That even if he dies, he'd die there.

So he really wants to make Hera Palace his grave?

Then there's only one thing that we can do.

What is it?

Set a trap.

So that he can't hide anywhere on this planet.

So that he'll walk into his own grave.

Let the world know...

exactly how ugly and vicious this man Joo Dan Tae is.

This is breaking news.

We are met with shock...

as the past crimes of Joo Dan Tae, the CEO who killed Oh Yoon Hee,

continues to be revealed one by one.

Do you remember the gruesome shooting...

that killed the genius pianist based out of New York?

Would you believe it if we said...

that the murder was meticulously planned by a psychopath...

just so he could marry a woman?

As the murderer behind a 20-year-old case that almost went cold...

has been brought to the surface,

the man is now wanted nationwide.

Please take a good look at his face.

Joo Dan Tae. His real name is Baek Jun Ki.

The Korean-American real estate investor James Lee...

said today that he would reward anyone who reported the runaway...

with two million dollars.

- What a... - That's the highest amount ever.

Joo Dan Tae allegedly blew up the car of...

- Darn it. - the CEO of Logan Lee Corporation.

He is also suspected to have been involved...

in the Osaka family murder...

that shocked the Korean-Japanese community 27 years ago.

Chairman Joo Dan Tae...

Please open the door. I'm from the front desk.

Darn it.

Did you say you needed a toothbrush?

(Chairman Joo Turns Out To Be Two-faced Psychopath)

Darn it.

It's Joo Dan Tae!

Joo Dan Tae...

Hello? Police?

Joo Dan Tae just ran away from here.

(Busan Lucky Motel)

This afternoon, at a motel in Busan,

the police lifted fingerprints of Chairman Joo, who is on the run.

It's become clear that he has smuggled himself back into Korea.

- Joo Dan Tae is such a jerk. - The search is still going on.

(I'm hungry. Please help me.)

(One pack of gum for 20 cents)

(Help me. My little sister is starving.)

- Hi, have you been waiting long? - Not at all.

Oh, my.

A pack of gum, sir?

Hey, go away!

My goodness.

What an annoying boy.

A pack of gum?

I said, go away!

I can't believe this.

- Let go! - What are you doing?

- Please! - Take him away.

- You little brat. - My gosh.

- Where's the money? - I don't have any.

- Is it here? - No, it isn't.

- There it is. - No! Give it back!

Why did you lie?

Give it back! It's my money!

Have you seen this man? He has a burn on his face.

I don't think so.

- Excuse me? - Go away!

Calm down! Stay still!

Isn't he the man from the news?

Hurry up and catch him!

I can't let it end like this.

I'll survive no matter what.

I'm never going back to my begging days.

I won't die on the street, never.

The penthouse is mine.

I'm...

going back there no matter what.

Please wake up.

If you leave me like this,

I'll never forgive you.

Dad.

(Dongbu Police Station)

My goodness. Because I chose the wrong man,

I've been bullied by my in-laws all my life,

and now I'm going in and out of prison.

Look who's talking.

I, Lee Kyu Jin, was born to a prestigious family of lawyers...

and used to live in luxury at Hera Palace.

And look what happened to me now.

In luxury, my foot. You were just Chairman Joo's minion.

A minion? Hey, how could you say that?

What? Deny it if you can!

You're not smart like Dr. Ha...

or strong like Mr. Yoo.

You're a mama's boy all the way.

I should never have married...

a rough woman like you!

My goodness. This is why you should never marry a spoiled brat.

I'd rather keep a dog!

A dog? A spoiled brat?

- Are you serious? - What?

Look at you two.

You're obviously having a lot of fun in here.

Ma Ri, what brings you here?

Are you here to help us?

Why would I?

You two got in trouble while on probation.

How could I possibly help you?

I brought a message from Min Hyuk.

Listen up, you immature parents.

(Enlistment Notice)

"Dear Mom and Dad. I was never able to decide..."

"which of you I hated more..."

"because both of you are so bad."

"But right now..."

I hate myself more than anyone else.

I want to be reborn.

I want to become a real man.

(Dear Mom and Dad)

(Enlistment Notice)

Wait a second. Min Hyuk is joining the military?

Min Hyuk! No!

How are you going to survive in the military?

This is too much!

By the way, Kyu Jin, Su Ryeon bought your apartment.

- What? - Su Ryeon is planning a business.

She's buying an apartment on every floor.

I heard she paid the market price.

I see. Good.

Did you put our apartment up for sale behind my back?

To take all the money?

You pocketed 500 million dollars. Are you in the position to say that?

You punk! You're a thief! I want a divorce!

What did you just say? What does that make my mom?

I'll tell her everything!

- I want a divorce too! - I don't need this ring anymore!

Good that their son is joining the military.

- Please take care of them. - What did you just say?

- Take it back! - I can't!

Mom, here.

Mom.

Where's my daughter?

Who are you?

Bring my daughter to me! Bring her right now!

Your daughter is here.

I'm Eun Byeol. Don't you remember me?

Is my husband here yet?

He's a neurosurgeon at Cheong A Medical Center.

He's been quite busy lately.

But if he knew I'm unwell, he'd hurry over and look after me.

I'll tell Dad to come over right now.

Who's your dad?

Who's your dad? Who do you think you are?

According to the test results, she's in the late stage of Alzheimer's.

- Her environment changed suddenly. - You need to eat.

The shock from it seems to have caused her condition.

I'll try calling him.

Can I have a look at her chart?

Mom, look at me.

Her hippocampus has shrunk drastically.

Where am I?

Where am I?

Where am I?

Given her condition, it'll be impossible to interrogate her.

- Can I get a doctor's note? - You don't have to eat.

- I'll call a nurse. - Sure.

Mom, look at me.

I booked flights for you.

An acceptance letter arrived from the Juilliard School too.

Forget everything and focus on your studies now.

I leave in two weeks?

It's a boarding school, so there isn't much to prepare.

Leave early so you can learn the language and adapt yourself.

I'll dispose of your apartment.

I want to wait until Mr. Ha wakes up.

Once I know he's fine,

I'll do as I say.

It might take...

much longer for Dr. Ha to wake up than we expect.

I'll let you know as soon as he does.

So don't worry about us and just leave.

There's a time for everything, be it singing or studying.

Hye In will pick you up at the airport.

Please...

look after Mr. Ha.

What happened with what I asked?

I just do what you tell me to.

I purchased five units today too.

Here.

(Property Sale Agreement)

Why are you buying up so many units?

You're paying a premium although prices dropped.

Buy up the remaining units...

if they show a willingness to sell.

Sell yours to me too.

Why don't you get a lot in Cheonsoo District?

Why are you doing this?

Why are you buying up units in this wretched Hera Palace?

So many people died in it.

I hope it never happens,

but I want to prepare for the worst.

Dan Tae was obsessive about Hera Palace.

I feel like he'll do something if he thinks it's over for him.

Do you actually think that?

But then again, he has no regard at all for human life.

Who knows? He may set fire to it today.

But given how no one has heard from him,

maybe he died somewhere.

Maybe he starved to death or was struck by lightning.

I think something happened.

There's a two-million-dollar reward out for him.

If he died, we would've found at least his body.

That's why...

I plan to draw him into Hera Palace.

How?

I'm...

getting engaged to Logan next week.

You are? Really?

That's great.

I told Ma Ri about our engagement.

Just in case,

I've bought up over 90 percent of the units in Hera Palace.

It should be almost empty by next week.

Dan Tae will return to Hera Palace.

If we say we're getting engaged there,

which he values as much as his life,

he'll make that D-day.

I'll kill him.

Please stand back where it's safe.

I'm the one he's after.

He's coming back to kill me.

I promise...

I won't let Dan Tae kill me.

How's Seo Jin doing?

She's getting worse and worse.

She doesn't recognize Eun Byeol.

The tests show early onset dementia.

Early onset dementia?

Yes.

This is her chart.

We're monitoring her 24 hours a day.

It doesn't look like she's pretending.

I don't believe it.

The investigation has been stayed.

She got a restraining order against the loan sharks.

The timing is just too suspicious.

Well, I think we should keep watching for now.

We have a week until the engagement ceremony.

I hope Dan Tae does what we assume he will.

(Wildflower Nursing Home)

(Bathroom)

Hey. Why are you standing there all awkward?

What?

What did I do?

Darn it.

Tell me right away if Joo Dan Tae shows up.

The reward is a whopping two million dollars.

Don't try to do anything stupid.

Yes, sir.

I'm going out for a smoke.

Long time no see, Secretary Cho.

Sir. What happened to your face?

That's not important.

I'm starving. Do you have any food?

Do you like the food?

There are cops everywhere outside.

We can't let them hear you.

Where have you been?

There's a national manhunt for you.

You'll betray me too, won't you?

There's a two-million-dollar reward on my head.

Even my son stabbed me in the back. Who's to say you won't?

Didn't you come here...

because you trusted me?

I'm in this together with you.

I'll join you till the end.

Even if I die.

My parents' place is empty.

Stay there for the time being.

Did you hear that Ms. Shim and Logan are getting engaged?

What? Engaged?

They're having a small ceremony with just close friends next week.

- Where? - I hear it'll be at Hera Palace.

At Hera Palace?

Those jerks.

Why are they getting engaged at my Hera Palace?

They did this to me, but they're happily getting engaged?

I can't let that happen.

They're the reason I'm in this mess.

- Secretary Cho. - Yes?

Get me some explosives.

Something more powerful than the ones we used on Logan.

About ten claymore explosives over 5kg each should work.

Pardon? What do you plan to do?

You jerk.

You can do it, right?

Yes, sir.

I'll kill them for real this time.

No mistakes.

(Engagement Ceremony D-day)

The penthouse master key.

Thanks, Secretary Cho.

Sir.

Is this...

really the only option?

It could kill too many people.

If you stop this now...

Shut your mouth.

I'm putting everything on the line.

I'll arrange them...

the best engagement party.

(Right of Retention)

I...

Well...

I met Chairman Joo Dan Tae.

He bought an explosive device...

Why did you do something I didn't tell you to?

You know I hate traitors more than anything.

After all those beatings, you still didn't get it.

Congratulations on the engagement, Logan. You look great today.

Thank you.

The kids are traveling.

It's a farewell party for Ro Na and Min Hyuk.

I'm so upset that so few people were invited to this lovely event.

Hera Palace was always full of people.

Now I'm the only Hera Club member left.

You are.

Take care of everything for us today.

I will.

The statue of Hera looks even more beautiful today.

It's such a waste.

It would've been loved forever if it never got blood on it.

Don't you agree?

I'm ready.

You look amazing.

Of all the brides I ever saw,

you're the most beautiful.

Thank you.

Let's hurry. Let's not keep the people waiting.

I love you, Su Ryeon.

Don't worry too much.

It'll be fine.

(Number Withheld)

(Number Withheld)

(Speaker)

Shim Su Ryeon. You look even more beautiful today.

Logan beside you looks pretty good too.

Come to the penthouse right now. I'll give you five minutes.

But you have to come alone.

If you don't listen,

I might just blow Hera Palace up.

I set up some bombs here and there.

I miss you, so come quickly.

Ring the emergency bell! It's an emergency.

Evacuate all residents. Now!

What happened?

There are bombs in Hera Palace.

Evacuate the residents first.

- We don't have time! - What? Bombs?

Ring the emergency bell. Quickly.

Attention all residents.

There is a bomb in Hera Palace.

Please evacuate promptly.

I repeat.

There is a bomb in Hera Palace.

Promptly evacuate the building.

Don't take anything. Just leave. Quickly!

Cover her so she doesn't get hurt.

- Mom! - Get out of here!

What happened?

Why are you here? You were on a trip!

I knew this was going to happen.

I knew something was up when you pushed us out the door.

A bomb? Where?

It was Dad, wasn't it? The one who set up the bomb.

Is my mom okay?

She'll help us buy more time.

We need to evacuate everyone.

If not, we all die. Now!

The elderly and children go first.

Quickly!

Those of you who didn't get on the elevator, use those stairs.

Slow down so no one gets hurt!

Quickly! Come this way!

Be careful, everyone.

Thank you for coming to my engagement party, Joo Dan Tae.

You finally showed up.

At last,

I can kill you with my own hands.

Do you really think that can happen?

Congratulations on your engagement to Logan.

I prepared a last-minute present.

I wonder if you'll like it.

If I press this button,

it will set off the bombs in the fountain and the penthouse

They're much stronger than the ones I set up in Logan's car last time.

You can look forward to them.

Boom.

Boom.

You crazy jerk.

If you want to die, die alone.

Why should I be the only one to die?

What did I do wrong?

Do you know that it was your dad...

who killed my mom and sister?

Your father, who worked for Simoon Construction,

took away my house.

What's so wrong with taking back what was taken from me?

Lot 27 of Cheonsoo District always belonged to my dad.

It was your parents who lived on that land without permission.

The demolition accident was all Baek Joon Ki's father.

My dad knew nothing.

Don't make excuses!

The noble Shim Su Ryeon...

never admits to doing anything wrong even until the end.

Don't move.

How dare you defile my Hera Palace?

Only I can have this place. Only I can destroy it.

If I can't have it, no one can. You understand?

Dying alone felt lonely.

It comforts me to know that it will be with you.

I knew you wouldn't disappoint me.

That's the perfect outfit for you to wear to the fiery pit.

Drop the remote.

You think you can shoot me?

I will press the button the moment you pull the trigger.

Then Hera Palace will disappear in the blink of an eye.

Come on. Shoot me!

I said, drop the remote!

And I said you'll die if you keep challenging me.

Just like your ex-husband.

Just like Min Seol A. Just like Oh Yoon Hee!

Shoot me!

This is for all the innocent lives you took away!

You're crazy!

How dare you shoot at me, the mighty Joo Dan Tae?

Are you still obsessed with that name?

This is you paying...

for all the crimes you've committed.

Drop the remote!

Shim Su Ryeon, let's go together...

to the fiery pit.

(The Penthouse 3)

Mom, please don't die.

Please survive!

Mommy loves you so much.

You died a death that you deserved.

Cheon Seo Jin is the only one left.

What if he dies because of me?

Live happily, Ro Na.

Mom!

I'll save Eun Byeol.

I must push forward.

I'm Cheon Seo Jin.
