[Lie to Love]

[Episode 1]

This is strange.

Why would Huo Jian invite you to a badminton game? He knows you are...

[Ocean Hotel Headquarters]

Worthless fools!

The result from your Housekeeping Department is worse than dull.

How am I supposed to explain this to the shareholders?

I've been saving your neck for your father,

but you have learned nothing from your mistake.

You keep making the same mistakes!

I don't want to see you again.

[Luxury Is Personal]

- Mister, I'm terribly sorry. - What's wrong with you people?

I booked a room at your official website. Now you're telling me there's someone in my room?

Outrageous! I was sleeping in my room when someone came knocking on the door.

I opened up, and he said it is his room. Do your job! Two customers can't have the same room–

I'm terribly sorry. I am in charge of the Housekeeping Department, the deputy general manager's secretary.

My surname is Lin. Regarding your accommodation, I can resolve it.

Again.

Chairman Huo, we will do better this time.

Silence!

Reflect on your mistakes.

Zeliang, how many times have I told you?

Stay away from alcohol and games.

Now, you can't even catch the ball I pass.

You don't even act like the deputy general manager.

Mr. Li, let's stop.

I'm fine.

Uncle, since you're in the mood for a game today,

I can't let myself be the spoilsport.

Uncle, don't worry. I'll be fine.

[Secretary to Deputy General Manager]

[Ocean Hotels Corporation]

Secretary Lin, how did it go?

Come to my office.

I told you we are in peak season.

I told you to reserve all the rooms.

Why did you allow online bookings?

But I was worried if the rooms of an entire floor weren't available to be booked online, it'd be too suspicious.

What are you worried about? I'm in charge of this matter.

Do you know how much money a room can make during the entire peak season?

Yes, so what should we do next?

It's not too big of an issue.

The customer who booked a room on our website didn't get his room, so he's very upset right now.

I'll apologize to the customer later.

I'll be more careful next time.

I was told that Li would be back soon. You need to be more careful.

I will.

Mr. Li, let's call it a day.

Zeliang.

You might think my way is too stern,

but it wasn't easy for your father to build this company.

It took him over 20 years to nurture Ocean Hotels from a no-name company

to the giant firm it is today.

So remember, Ocean Hotels belongs to the Li family, not the Huo family.

I am merely a steward taking care of it.

This responsibility will eventually become yours to bear.

You're right, Uncle.

Chairman Huo, we need your signature on this document.

Clean up the mess.

Come with me to the headquarters.

Okay.

Return to your work and delete all the contact records and documents.

Yes.

Go on.

Are you looking for someone?

Hello, I'm here for the interview, but I can't seem to find my way there.

Is this the place?

[Su Xieyi] [Resume]

Follow this path and turn left in the Pantry. Then go to the second floor.

Thanks.

[Ocean Hotels Corporation]

May I take a seat here?

Welcome, Chairman Huo.

Chairman Huo, you're finally back.

Secretary Lin, Li Zeliang has returned to our company.

Chairman Huo, I assure you I will keep an eye on that boy.

You'll get all the updates firsthand.

From what I heard,

the booking system of our hotel has run into some issues.

Are you aware of the matter?

I'm resolving it as we speak.

Why do you look so nervous?

Just make sure you carry out my orders.

As for the booking system, take your time with it.

I understand.

Go on.

Yes.

Why do you choose to bring that kid from the Li family back now?

A worthless prince is still a prince nonetheless.

Many of the shareholders are elders of the Li family.

As soon as they learned Li Ze Liang's condition had improved,

they've been asking for him to come back to work.

I was told they planned to leave Yunfeng in his care.

Director Li,

this is the Housekeeping Department's sales report for the past six months.

You have just returned to work, so it's better to have a grasp of the company.

Leave it on the desk. I'll read it later.

I was told the Housekeeping Department had received many complaints.

What is going on?

It's said that the booking system ran into some problems,

but it could also be some errors from the Housekeeping Department.

It could also be some errors from the Networking Department.

Is that so? Are the problems resolved?

We reported it to Chairman Huo.

If there's nothing, I should get back to my work.

[Housekeeping Department Sales Report]

Yunfeng Hotel was built on the foundation of Zhiwei Building

and expanded upon it.

Li Zeliang has been in charge of the Zhiwei Building project.

It's normal if people view it that way.

If you hadn't made him hand over the project years ago,

Yunfeng Hotel wouldn't even exist.

I told you time and time again.

Do not bring up the past.

I'm doing this

because I have my reasons.

I brought Li Zeling back

and assigned him a position in the company

because I want those elders to shut up.

Furthermore, putting him where I can see him

makes our work a lot easier.

You're right.

[Story's Coffee]

[Zhiwei Corporation ran out of funding, old ally Ocean Hotel plan to sabotage]

[Involved in corporate fraud, Chairman Shen Zhi Hong committed suicide]

I'm living in the house you lived in when you first came to Shanghai.

You once told me

you moved all the furniture from the old house here.

Now, I'm back to this house,

but you've left me forever.

[Li Zeling]

Mr. Li, Dr. Wu just called. Your new prescription is ready.

I can go get it anytime.

He advised you to have one or two massages every week.

Have you considered letting Secretary Lin, the secretary...

He can stay for now.

Very well.

Are we going to the usual place?

Yes.

Welcome, Director Li.

- Here's the wine you reserved. - Thanks.

Where is Oscar?

He has a performance.

He actually got a job.

What a miracle.

Dad, I will investigate [Ocean Hotel' contract exploits]

everyone who was connected to him. [Connections]

I will find the contract that framed you. [Main suspect]

[Huo Jian]

As your new chairman for Ocean Hotels,

I will lead Ocean Hotels to even greater heights!

[Lin Tai | Real Estate Investments]

He showed up.

[Main suspect | Li Zeliang]

I can still drink!

Forget it.

Be careful.

I need more wine.

♫ I don't know how to win your heart ♫

♫ I don't know how to be the one for you ♫

♫ To be good enough for you ♫

♫ But you're just like a distant star ♫

♫ Looking so close but yet so far ♫

♫ I need to stop, I need to give you up ♫

♫ Before my heart comes apart ♫

Hello, Miss. May I take your order?

- I'll have a mocktail. - Sure, in a moment.

♫ In your circle of love ♫

Where have you been?

Excuse me. I think you mistake me for someone.

Sorry, Handsome. Where is the restroom?

Over there.

Thanks a lot, Handsome.

Friend, do you know who that woman is?

Sorry, I don't know her.

Then why did you hug her?

She is my wife.

She's drunk and asked for directions to the restroom.

You're not getting away after hugging my girl!

Sorry.

What are you staring at?

Did you just fall in love or something? What? Are you two ignoring me?

Is she your girlfriend?

She's a pretty one.

Let's have a drink together, then I'll let this slide. How does that sound?

Excuse me, I have no idea who he is.

Besides, it was your girl who hugged him first.

Sticking up for your boyfriend? You're quite a talker for a girl.

I bet you can hold your drink.

Show some respect.

What now?

Do you want a fight? [Pepper spray]

Go!

Where are you going?

Wait! Where are you going?

That woman used pepper spray on me! I'll make her pay!

See?

He's a living example of having the brawn but not the brain.

What are you staring at?

Were you the girl from back then?

Back then? What do you mean?

My memory is bad. I've forgotten a lot of things.

Do you like camping?

Have you watched a sunrise from the mountaintop?

Watching a sunrise is too childish. It's not my cup of tea.

It's more practical to just sleep soundly in bed.

Camping is out of the question.

What? Is this how you pick up girls?

You can at least be more creative.

Take off your clothes.

I need to borrow them.

Thanks.

[Methylcobalamin Tablets] (T/N: used for Alzheimer's disease and rheumatoid arthritis)

Are you going to watch me get changed?

Sorry.

I'll pay for your shirt.

It's 85, 62, and 86.

What is that?

It's my measurements. Aren't you buying me a new shirt?

Well... I saw a bottle of pills inside the car.

Are you not feeling well?

Yes. I have dissociative amnesia.

I ran into some bad situations a few years ago. I'm still recovering.

How are you doing?

There are many things I can't remember.

However, after giving it some thought,

I forgot a lot of unpleasant memories as well.

That makes me feel much better.

Here.

I doubt they are coming back.

What? Are you feeling attached to this place?

Seeing you're a handsome one,

I could give you a free ride home.

Never mind.

This is my business card.

Thank you for helping me out just now.

[Li Zeliang | Deputy General Manager of Ocean Hotel]

Ocean Hotels?

What's wrong?

I majored in hotel management.

Ocean Hotels is the first choice in my job hunting. It's the Number One.

Consider this an IOU you gave me.

Wait.

May I know your name?

Su Xieyi.

[Wild Hog]

Let go!

Don't let go!

Hang on tight to me!

Don't be afraid.

I'll pull you up. Hang in there.

One,

two,

three!

Hurry!

[Rock Climbing Peak]

Can you read this? It says "Rock Climbing Peak."

This is the famous rock-climbing spot for the enthusiasts.

Were you out of your mind?

Why did you poke around with the stick?

Who would poke a man off the cliff with a stick?

Speaking of yourself.

Look over here.

What does it say?

"Beware of wild hogs."

Is there some kind of fetish among the rock-climbing enthusiasts?

Do you love a spot where wild hogs are around?

You mistook me for a wild hog.

What's wrong?

It's nothing. I get a toothache when I get angry.

I have some painkillers. You can have some.

Never mind.

It'll get better in a while.

Are you sure?

Well... Although it was your fault for almost dragging me down from the cliff,

I poked you with the stick, so we are even now.

We should steer clear of each other from now on.

Steering clear of each other?

What's wrong?

There is something under the blanket.

Stay still.

Be careful. It could be a rat.

It's not a rat. It's a small hedgehog.

See? Isn't it cute?

A hedgehog! It's so adorable!

Don't touch it!

Does it hurt?

I'm all right.

Put a band-aid on it.

Disinfect it. Come on.

It's done.

- Thanks. - Don't mention it.

Little hedgehog, you're so cute.

You look like a spiky little ball.

Why are you here all by yourself?

Why are you here camping by yourself?

I just came back to China, so I don't have many friends.

Are you cold?

The night can be freezing up here.

Maybe you could stay with me.

Maybe I could keep your company.

Don't get me wrong.

You just mentioned there were a lot of wild hogs, dingos,

and even snakes in the area.

Of course, I hope we're safe here.

It's up to you.

See you.

Do you know the "Shoot the Star Trail"?

Certainly.

Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Li Zeliang.

What about you?

You can call me Xiao Yi.

Su Xieyi...

Xiao Yi...

- Hello? - Hello.

Miss? Where are you?

Are you coming back or not?

Don't worry. I'll wire you the payment.

[Li Zeliang]

[Li Zeliang | Ocean Hotel CEO]

[Ocean Hotel]

Hello? Uncle Gong?

Hello? Your father is in trouble!

I didn't catch that.

Your father is in trouble!

Where is he now?

At Huo Jian's place!

The patient has been diagnosed with dissociative amnesia.

She will selectively forget certain parts of her life.

During her rehab, the family must pay close attention to her mental health.

Li Zeliang.

Which one is the real you? [Li Zeliang | Deputy CEO of Ocean Hotel] [Li Zeliang | Deputy General Manager of Ocean Hotel]

Chestnut, do you remember you once startled Xiao Yi a few years ago?

[Chestnut's House]

Are you hungry?

Do you want some food?

All you care about is eating.

Fine.

You can eat all you want.
