[My Lethal Man]

[Episode 5]

It's a bit late today.

Let's talk

tomorrow.

Let's live together.

I will live with you

in this room.

24 hours,

we'll be together.

24 hours?

Why?

You are the only heir to LH Star and the House of Zhuang now.

You must have someone by your side 24 hours a day

to protect and confirm your safety.

Also,

there will be a shareholders meeting next week for LH Star.

You need to have some industry knowledge,

in case you make mistakes

in front of so many people again.

I...I was careless that time.

Why do you remember it for so long?

And how can we live together?

Why not?

There's only one bed.

You can sleep on the sofa,

in bathtub, dressing room or

on the carpet.

You want me to sleep on the carpet?

Otherwise,

do you want to sleep with me?

W-who wants to sleep with you?

Why not?

We're engaged anyway.

Who said that?

We didn't have an engagement ceremony.

Are you reminding me that

I should ask the House of Zhuang

to have an engagement ceremony with you right away?

No, I'm not.

Sorry, boss.

Sorry to bother you.

But it's okay.

You can ignore me.

Go on.

W-what are you doing?

Help my boss move.

M...

Move?

From now on,

don't let the sun go down on your anger as a couple.

Missie,

be tough on our boss.

He never complains about...

hurt.

Bye, boss.

Good night, boss.

You must remember

all the business affairs of LH Star clearly too.

But don't worry.

I'll help you.

I won't let anything go wrong

during the shareholders meeting next week.

Besides,

you can live according to the rhythm of your life.

Don't worry about me.

Are...

Are you sleeping here?

I...I didn't mean anything else.

I...I mean...

I don't sleep much.

Don't worry about me.

Go to sleep.

Are you reminding me that

I should ask the House of Zhuang

to have an engagement ceremony with you right away?

Yan Xingcheng.

What's wrong, Yan Xingcheng?

Water, water.

Yan Xingcheng, can you hear me?

Water, water, water.

Yan Xingcheng.

Don't come near me

when I am asleep.

An old friend's sister.

Arrange time to meet her.

It is not only for yourself,

but also for LH Star

and your deceased mother.

I'm sorry.

I think I mistook you for someone else.

You were not mistaken.

Your father's friend

is my brother.

I'm sorry.

I thought...

You thought I followed you into your life

since our cooperation didn't work out last time.

When my brother mentioned you,

he said you were good at socializing.

It seemed to be true.

But...

I refuse.

You're not my type.

I have no intention

to fall in love with you.

So no matter how we spend time together,

we can never be together.

You rejected me last time.

So this time,

I said it first.

Good.

I had no intention either.

I'll get going first then.

But the rejection in life

doesn't mean you're rejected at work.

Mr. Lin,

my fashion studio and I

are still interested in your jewelry design.

If possible,

I hope you can leave Ocean Star

and cooperate with me.

I thought

I told you very clearly last time.

That was the last time.

The situation is different this time.

As far as I know,

LH Star is now in an overseas crisis.

It is still hard to say if the new Miss Zhuang

can control the whole LH Star Group,

would she have the energy to support your design?

Mr. Lin,

your goal is not just this small LH Star Group,

but an international award in the design industry, right?

LH Star cannot give it to you now.

It is only me can.

Give you another chance.

Please answer me

within 48 hours.

48 hours.

It is when LH Star's shareholders meeting ends.

Why are there so many people?

There seems to be a big meeting.

Does it mean the big boss,

his boss and all other bosses would all be here?

No.

I need to pull myself together.

[Rao Meina, Assistant Intern of Secondary Design Studio]

That girl overestimated herself.

She even wants to take the position of

LH Star's CEO from you.

She is just daydreaming.

Look at how arrogant they are.

What have they done to the group?

Even if Ms. Zhuang Meixuan is here,

I'm afraid...

she can't escape their scheme.

Right.

I'm afraid that

LH Star is going down.

President Zhuang is too hasty.

He entrusted such a big group

to a young girl in her early twenties.

Because she is

the biological daughter of the former Miss Zhuang, Zhuang Meixuan.

So what?

She hasn't been in China for more than ten years,

and has no industrial management experience.

If we let her be the CEO of LH Star Group,

I'm afraid she would ruin our Group.

Don't say that.

She's coming...

So what?

I would say the same in front of her.

The position of LH Star's CEO...

Wait.

Are you going to sit here?

Do you know that

not anyone can sit on

this position?

If she can't sit here,

can you?

Of course this position is not

for anyone.

But as the heir of LH Star Group,

who was appointed by President Zhuang,

It's only natural for Ms. Zhuang Xinyan

to sit on this position.

Of course we know

that Missie was appointed

by President Zhuang.

But LH Star Group now

is in a critical crisis

of overseas bonds.

For someone

with no industrial management experience,

can Ms. Zhuang Xinyan lead the group

go through the crisis?

If she can save the group,

she should be able to take this position.

If Ms. Zhuang Xinyan

just want to take the throne,

but cannot help the shareholders

to protect this realm.

I'm afraid

nobody would agree to

let her have this position.

Look.

It's just the beginning.

They are already giving her a hard time.

Xingcheng,

since I've returned to the House of Zhuang today,

I surely have the guts to sit here.

Since I dare to sit here today,

I'm confident to lead LH Star to

overcome the difficulties.

Please rest assured, shareholders.

From now on,

I will protect LH Star for you.

At the same time,

Mr. Yan beside me

will join the group with me.

We will work together

to bring LH Star back

to the top of the industry.

This is not...

This is not...

Shen...

Who is it?

♫I'll hug you like this♫

♫And kiss you like this♫

♫I'll cooperate with your willfulness♫

♫I want to watch shooting stars with you♫

♫I want to learn the secret of love with you♫

♫The ring finger means you and me♫

Sorry.

I mistook you for someone else.

♫You and me♫

♫Although your mind is sometimes unpredictable♫

Wait.

♫It's okay. I have masculine charms that you can rely on♫

W-what's your name?

Are you from this company too?

♫Who can tell the magic of love♫

I'm a new intern of Secondary Design Studio.

♫I can't help but get close to you♫

I'm Rao Meina.

♫This time, we hold hands and be connected♫

♫It's strange and unbelievable♫

Why are you leaving?

I...

I don't know your name yet.

♫Don't doubt. It's destiny♫

♫I do♫

But...

♫I'll hug you like this♫

so cool,

♫And kiss you like this♫

and so ruthless,

I like it.

♫I'll cooperate with your willfulness♫

He's like the hero in a comic drama.

♫I want to watch shooting stars with you♫

W-what did I see just now?

♫I want to learn the secret of love with you♫

What do you think?

Did I do well?

Well done.

In order to fully control LH Star,

we need to subdue these shareholders first.

So next,

solving LH Star's

overseas bond crisis

is the first big thing

you have to accomplish here.

I?

Ask the secretary

to send all the information

of overseas bonds.

Qiao,

send all the violation documents

of LH Star's overseas bonds

to the CEO's office.

Now.

I didn't expect this girl to be so bold.

Mr. Zhuang.

Don't worry.

She won't

take Ocean Star away from you so easily.

Do you have any ideas?

There are many ways.

What about the financial manager in charge of overseas bonds?

The detailed list of all overseas assets is missing.

Detailed list?

I went to the Finance Department to get all the statements last time.

They are different.

Financial statement

is very different from

detailed list of overseas assets.

Only that list

recorded

all transactions

of LH Star's

oversea industries.

All the information handed over

were fudged.

We only saw the big picture,

not the details.

Once they are detained by foreign banks,

all the assets

will be gone.

I'll call the Finance Center.

Don't move.

Fang Xiang.

Boss.

The financial manager in charge of overseas stock

has applied for a month's pay leave.

His flight departures at one o' clock this afternoon,

to go abroad.

I'll go with you.

Are you at the airport yet?

Hurry up and leave.

Sir,

go to the airport with full speed.

I'll pay you double.

Okay, boss.

I can do it.

You don't have to go.

I want to go with you.

Let's go.

Sir, hurry up.

Boss.

I am already at my full speed.

Hurry up.

Sir.

Turn around.

Hurry up.

Hello, boss.

Fang Xiang.

Have you checked the online car I asked you to check?

Yes.

The plate number is 889.

The pick up spot is at 70 meters outside the LH Star Building.

Departure time was 21 minutes and 19 seconds ago.

The route is going second ring from the second exit of Zhengyang Street

to the highway,

and entered the airport highway.

Boss.

It's him.

Sit tight.

Over there.

Sit tight.

Hurry up.

Over there!

Stop!

Driver, stop him!

-I'll pay you more. -Stop!

Stop!

Mr. Zhuang.

Just sit tight.

As long as Mr. Zheng gets to the airport safely,

everything will be easy.

What if he can't make it?

What if the list falls into their hands?

There's no such thing.

Mr. Zheng promised me

he hid the list well.

Don't think that easily.

Zhuang Xinyan is easy to deal with.

But the man she brought back...

This man?

I felt something strange.

How strange?

I feel that

I've seen him somewhere.

Also,

he and Zhuang Xinyan

don't seem like a proper couple.

It seems that

they are showing to us on purpose.

That's right.

Right.

I don't think they're a prospective couple either.

Hurry up.

Find out everything about this man

thoroughly.

Understood.

Also,

besides the list of overseas assets,

we need to make other plans.

We can't let this girl

to be the CEO easily.

Okay.

Stop!

Don't run!

Don't follow me.

I didn't do anything.

I just want to go abroad

to see my wife and children.

If you didn't do anything,

why did you run away?

I ran because you chased me.

I really didn't do anything.

I was just paid

a hundred thousand more.

More?

Did you receive it from someone else?

Who gave you the money?

I didn't.

I really didn't.

Please let me go.

Please let me go, Missie!

Since you know I'm Ms. Zhuang Xinyan,

give me the list

of overseas bond assets!

What overseas assets?

Hand is over to me,

I'll let you go.

Missie,

it really wasn't me.

This has nothing

to do with me.

They just want me to leave.

I beg you.

Please let me go.

Please let me go.

I beg you.

I beg you.

Please let me go.

Okay.

Okay.

I will give it.

I will give it.

I will give it.
