So in this video, it's also another optional video where we are going to install Visual Studio is our
idea for these programming course.
And maybe you were a student and maybe you're basically at college.
University school doesn't really matter.
And your requirements is to use visual studio.
I don't know whatever version of, like, demand from you to use or basically you yourself simply decided
that this should be the idea you will use or maybe you have already some experience or used it somewhere.
So basically in this video we will see how we can download and configure and basically to start a basic
project by using Visual Studio.
So for that, let us go here and specify Visual Studio and go to their official website.
OK, so Microsoft Visual Studio is an integrated development environment from Microsoft, which is pretty
obvious, right?
And basically, it's used for a lot of things to develop computer programs, websites, web apps, services,
mobile apps and so on.
So.
Let us dive right into the downloads, OK, and we will see what it basically suggests.
So, of course, there are many different options here.
OK, whether you're using Windows, Linux or Mac, Linux know Linux, it's not support.
Never mind.
That's not for this video.
This video is only for Windows.
So we will basically take a look at this visual studio.
Twenty nineteen.
Maybe by the time you see this video, there are already more updated versions, more newly released
versions.
But now we can see that
we have three main options here.
We have the community, which is basically free for students, open source and.
Individuals.
OK, so that's basically will be the way we we will go professional, it doesn't doesn't necessary for
us to start with it.
Also enterprise, of course, both of them are pay are paid.
You have to pay some price for them, but you can always try them.
Like to use free trial.
For now, it's for 90 days.
So we are going to start with the community and let's play a press the download the community version
and yeah, basically we'll see now that the download asks you where you want to download it, let's
simply use it here, like Visual Studio twenty nineteen.
He just created a folder for my programming guides I'm creating and I want to show you so that I'm OK.
So say yes.
And once the download is completely it's open up these folder.
Get it here, OK, and now let's simply start basically to all these.
OK, so basically, you see, that's just the installer.
So press.
Yes.
To install the visual studio installer.
OK, there you go.
Here it is.
Just that you will be able to see it and.
Now it wants from us some information.
OK, so basically let it download whatever it requires.
OK, so once it's done.
We can proceed.
All right, so now it seems that it finished successfully.
Let me drag this.
Toolbar to hear.
OK, so that what you should basically you're supposed to see and you have a couple of options here,
OK, so installing visual studio community twenty nineteen and you have a couple of options to choose
from based simply on whatever needs you have.
OK, so there is like the basic configuration, OK, and you will see that it's total space required
is like a little bit less than one gigabyte.
So visual studio commercial experience including ll allow.
OK, so that's the installation details.
And also here you have a couple of options OK to choose from.
So if you're like, I don't know, developing and developing additional things, you may consider checking
out the note gas development, python development, I don't know, desktop development with C++.
And basically there are a lot of a lot of things that you may consider to to add to our lot to our own
download.
So for now, what will be sufficient for us is simply to check out these desktop development with C++
and you will have like all of these nice little things right here and yeah, basically.
There are, of course, additional things that we may select, but for now this will be it and this
will be enough.
So there's a little space required is like seven point forty one gigabytes.
That's kind of heavy software, but it's very functional and it's very useful.
Maybe maybe some of its features are not going to be like really felt during this course because we're
still like there.
There will be no major difference between using visual studio for these course and using, like, for
example, code light, although there will be but not a major difference.
So for now are simply press on install.
There you go, install.
And I think that this process will take some time.
OK, because this file is kind of heavy and until it finishes the downloading and installation process,
you can take some break, OK?
You can go drink something, eat something nice.
And once it's over, we will basically proceed with the installation of our visual studio and we will
configure it and basically we will talk a little bit more in depth about it.
So until then, wait a second.
I will stop it.
