Ten acts will compete for a spot in the final.

But first, they will need to make it

past the Superfan vote,

which is made up of Superfans from all across America.

The Superfans can only put through one act

from tonight's show.

However, we also have

that big, shiny, beautiful Golden Buzzer,

which will take an act straight through to the final.

Now, Simon, tonight is your chance

to hit the Golden Buzzer.

What is it going to take to impress you tonight?

- That is a really good question, Terry.

For me, I'm looking for the best of the best of the best.

- Absolutely. [cheers and applause]

Guys, I think it's time for our first act.

- [shouting indistinctly] Are you ready?

- Hey, people, we're back. - Hi!

- It's exciting.

Whoo!

- My name is Avery Dixon.

I was one of the finalists

on "America's Got Talent," season 17.

- Tell me what got you into this.

- At the time I picked up the saxophone,

I was getting bullied in elementary school.

- For what?

- Well, my voice sounds a little bit different.

- You got a great voice.

- And I looked a little bit different, too.

It was relentless. I was in such a dark place.

My mom convinced me to audition.

I was not sure that I was even good enough.

- What would you do if you were to win?

- I'd want to give my mom and my brother

a space where we can actually live as loud as we want to be,

because somebody had called the cops on me

before I flew out. - Really?

- The cops came banging on the door.

They were like, "You need to be quiet."

- Avery, here you can be as loud as you want.

[wild cheering, saxophone playing]

- At first, I thought I was going to get a Red Buzzer.

Instead, Terry goes,

"Those bullies are going to have to"...

both: Watch you succeed, my friend!

[upbeat jazz music]

- Then the Golden Buzzer kind of, like, turned

my whole perspective around.

- Everything you dreamed of,

I actually believe, is going to happen.

- At one point, winning became possible.

- The act taking the last spot

in the top five is...

- So this is my second chance.

I brought my band this time,

and I'm going to do whatever I can to win.

- I wasn't expecting to do this, but I'm going to do it.

is a dream come true.

- This is finally my chance at redemption.

- I didn't make it to the finals last time.

This time I've got a strategy, and I'm ready.

I mean, that was just walking.

I've done it all my life, but-- - No!

I meant the things we've seen before,

and, also, I was in Vegas with Simon,

and I saw you in the live show. - Oh, thank you.

Yeah, my dream was always to be in a Vegas show,

and my first bite of "AGT" gave me that dream,

so I'm super excited to be back

and get to share everything with you.

[cheers and applause]

My name is Peter Antoniou. I'm 33, from London.

And I can read minds.

There's a detail about your engagement that no one knows.

Joe got down on one knee, and as he did,

there was a rainbow. - I'm going to throw up.

There's no way that you knew about a rainbow.

No one knows that.

- It was good to get to the semifinals,

but I stumbled reading Sofía's mind a little bit.

[buzzer sounds]

- I'm confused. Did it go right or wrong?

- The act going into the finals is...

[dramatic music]

- Since being on the show, my life's completely changed.

I'm going to theaters, and people are coming out,

saying, like, "We saw you on 'AGT.'

We had to see your live show."

And it's been such an incredible journey.

I think this is my opportunity to really prove

that I deserve to be counted amongst all of the All-Stars.

Timing is always going to be a curveball,

but I'm really hoping that this performance

will win Simon back over

and makes him regret pushing that buzzer.

I just have to trust in my skills

that I'm going to be able to get into those people's brains.

[cheers and applause]

The reason that I'm a psychic today is because of my aunt.

She used to host these tea parties

where she'd read tea leaves,

psychically divining questions and concerns

from members of the public,

and I'd like to show you what one of those is like tonight.

But I'll obviously need some guests, so, Terry Crews,

do you want to come out here and join me?

Terry Crews, everyone. Give him a round of applause.

[cheers and applause] Hello, Terry.

I want you to pick a member of our audience

to join us during this.

So look at our beautiful audience, and then--

- You, the young lady right there.

they tend to ask a question they don't know the answer to,

and, Howie, that's exactly the sort of question

you're normally, like, a comedic person,

because you want to know whether he's going to find

someone to marry, don't you? - Yes!

is questions that they know the answer to,

and they're looking for me to prove my psychic skills.

That's why I asked Terry to bring you onstage--

someone that none of us has ever met before.

that, if I knew the answer to,

would convince you that I was psychic.

- Viviana, we were so disappointed

that you couldn't make the finals, so what happened?

- I come back too soon after my injury.

I was not ready 100%.

I'm Viviana Rossi, I'm 26 years old,

and I come from Spain.

When I was little girl,

my dream was become the most famous gymnastic

in the world,

and I always want to come to the United States

for perform.

[cheers and applause]

This is the first time after my accident.

[audience gasps] - What accident?

- I fell down from a few meters.

- Doing this same act that you're going to do here?

- Yes.

But I pushed myself too much,

and the doctor said I come back too soon after my injury.

and for my safety, I can't perform again.

I'm a trained black belt.

Learned to be a black belt

at Roger Baker's Tae Kwon Do and Pizza,

Pensacola, Florida.

This is my friend Terry. I'm his sensei.

This is my friend Topher. I'm his sensei, too.

[laughter]

- For those that don't know,

you were the very first Golden Buzzer ever

in the history of "America's Got Talent."

- Were they? - Yeah.

We got the very first Golden Buzzer.

- Did "AGT" change your life?

- Yeah, "AGT" really changed our life.

We went to our county carnival. We got free ride wristbands.

And we could ride as many rides as we wanted.

- [chuckles] - All right.

And do you think you're going to win?

- Yeah, I think we're going to win, especially when you see

all of our new skills and abilities

and you see my major stunt.

That's why we wanted to come back,

because we know you can make or break careers,

and we know today you're making our career!

- I remember them, because, honestly,

I feel like they're still wearing the same outfit

from way back when.

- Today for our performance,

we're going to put on a karate exhibition,

My name is Mike E. Winfield, I'm a stand-up comedian,

and I was a finalist

on season 17 of "America's Got Talent."

I got married to an older woman.

I got a stepson.

It's cool being a parent to a kid that's close to your age.

I call him step-man.

You know, I auditioned for "AGT"

because I've been doing stand-up

for close to 20 years,

performing in random clubs,

sleeping in hostels.

I seen what "AGT" does for all their artists,

and I felt like it was good lane for me to step into.

- If you do not get voted... - He will.

- Into the finals, you come open up for me.

- Stop it!

- The act in the top 5 is...

Drake Miller! Yeah!

- [sighs] I was devastated.

You know, the way I got sent home,

it actually pushed me to work harder.

Ever since I left "America's Got Talent,"

it's just been nothing but star-studded life experiences.

- What about under-30 women that got recipes,

make some noise. [scattered cheers]

Four of y'all.

I've been working nonstop,

and none of that would have been possible without "AGT."

I get a lot of material from my family.

I've been using them to come up

with what I think is my funniest set ever.

- They're ready for you.

- There's a lot of people that say winning

is just making it to the finals.

I'm not one of those.

I like the title,

and I'm going to take everybody out...

by any means necessary.

I wanted to be the first comedian ever,

and then when I left, I was devastated.

- So, when I got the call, I never stopped working,

and I just kept tightening, brightening,

fixing everything, you know?

You want a show! - Yes, we do!

Okay.

So "AGT" has been changing my life,

but it's been changing my family's life even more,

especially my stepson.

For those of you that don't know, my wife's older.

I got a stepson. We, like, the same age.

I call him step-man, all right?

And he's been exhibiting unusual behavior

because he's upset that I portrayed him on the show

as irresponsible and gets in trouble in school,

so he's been trying to prove he's responsible

by buying products around the house with my money.

And I didn't even know.

I walked in on him eating his cereal.

I'm like, "Hey, don't waste that milk."

He's like, "I bought it."

Okay. Ah!

And he doesn't waste the milk.

He walks the bowl of milk past the sink

and places the bowl of milk inside of the refrigerator.

So, first, I'm like, "Who reuses cereal milk?"

But then I was like, "How good would my cereal taste

"double Cocoa Puffed up?

"All these years I've been single-milking it.

I just needed my milk to marinate."

The fame is affecting step-man.

He's been invited to all these parties,

but he's been staying out too late.

So my wife and I, we've been deciding how to handle it.

I'm like, "I don't know what to do."

She's like, "Go get him."

I drove around the corner to pick him up.

I came home three hours later.

She said, "Michael, you been drinking?"

I'm like, "We got some of the same friends.

"Everybody was there.

"He's still there.

"I'm going to go get him again.

I'll find out why you weren't invited."

And on top of all of that,

we weren't able to dance in front of you in person,

and I think with dancing, unless you're there in person,

so we're glad to be back.

We've been dancing together since we were babies.

Some of the members of the group

have been together for 15, 16 years.

Competing on "America's Got Talent"

truly was a special for us.

- It was so on fire.

You guys were so beautiful.

- But because of COVID, we weren't able to perform

in person in front of the judges,

and I feel that with a mask over our face

and through a screen,

you can't really feel our energy and our emotion.

- Dance Town Family, it is the end of the competition.

- When we were eliminated, it was very difficult for us.

I kind of feel that we were cut short

on all the amazing things we could do,

and I think we just all knew

we really needed to be back on this stage.

- So what happened since the last time we saw each other?

- Since the last time we were here,

we've had so many incredible performances.

We performed with Jennifer Lopez

in the Super Bowl, which is-- - [screams]

- It was really cool. - Oh! That's a get!

- But nothing beats this stage right here, honestly.

- Since "AGT," we've been blessed

with so many incredible opportunities.

Had the opportunity of dancing with Jennifer Lopez

I think the Dance Town Family

has accomplished so many things,

but "America's Got Talent"

has been a dream of ours forever, and that's why,

when "AGT: All-Stars" was coming back,

we knew that we had one more dream to complete.

I think now that we have the opportunity

to dance in front of everybody,

we might even feel like a completely new group to them,

and I think that's what's going to help us win this time.

My name is Captain Ruin, and I was on season nine

- I started throwing knives in my backyard

about seven or eight years ago

and slowly convinced my friends

to stand in front of me.

A few trips to the emergency department later,

and I've slowly but surely become reasonably good at it.

- Season 14, we felt we could win.

- Going into the semifinals is...

and most shocking performance,

I was worried when you started hammering away

and you were laying on the floor,

because when we first got on the stage,

Simon touched two of the nuts.

- Did you guys see this earlier on?

And I kept on thinking about those two nuts that Simon--

- Readjusted the nuts, and so I was so worried.

- However, this is one of those rare times

when you want your nuts to be hit.

- Okay, well, listen. I'll tell you what I do think.

We've seen so many acts from around the world

on "All-Stars" this year.

This was one of my favorite performances.

It was fantastically mad... - Wow.

I love the fact that nearly all of you died,

and then the manager comes out to take a round of applause.
