[Mars, 2042]

Hurry up, Pal!

I'm coming!

How's your collection, Feng Weiyi?

Well, in Grid Section 50-12, the particles were predominantly coarse.

But in 23, they are much finer,

[Feng Weiyi Geologist of the Alliance of the Migration to Mars Project]

should be ideal for blue-green algae analysis.

It's great news that Mars is going to become the second home of mankind.

Great. Don't forget to charge Mars Rover under the Sun.

Don't worry.

The rover should be able to get me back.

Yes, yes.

The hybridization of the Parson's chameleon

[Richard Bolton Biologist of the Alliance of Migration to Mars Project]

and the bearded lizard has survived the first phase.

What's that?

Feng Weiyi, our seed bank was attacked by asteroids.

Please return immediately.

Forget it, we don't have time!

Is everyone there? Is everyone alright?

The aftershock of the asteroids hit will create a super storm.

Our flying saucer and base camp will be irreparably destroyed.

We need to immediately evacuate...

We only have 7 minutes of evacuation time...

Richard, what did you say? Repeat!

We are waiting for you, Escape Tank...

Damn it!

Go quickly!

Captain, do we have any choice but to evacuate?

No, it's about 7 minutes.

Wind intensity will reach the scale of 24, roughly 8,700 newtons.

Once it is above 7,000 newtons,

our spacecraft will be blown over,

and we will not be able to leave Mars.

How long will it take them to send support from Earth?

For a long time.

Our supplies will not last until the day Earth sends reinforcements.

What about Weiyi?

We've yet to get hold of him.

Let's wait for a little longer.

Board the ship, and prepare for take-off.

I will wait for him here.

Okay.

Captain, we have only 5 minutes left until take-off,

but our spaceship already has a 7 degrees of inclination.

The inclination rate is getting faster. When it reaches 12.3 degrees,

the spaceship will fall down.

Feng Weiyi, where are you?

Feng Weiyi, please response!

Captain, we lost connection with Feng Weiyi.

But vital signs in this spaceship is still normal.

Captain, 2 minutes left! You need to hurry back!

9.5 degrees of deviation,

and if it exceeds 10 degrees, no one can escape.

We need to think of a way to buy some more time for Feng Weiyi.

All we can do is try to turn on the orbital maneuvering system.

The battery is too low to continue driving.

The destination is still 117 meters away.

Captain, we can't wait any longer.

In a minute, we will not be able to take off.

Wait, stop! I see him!

Feng Weiyi is here?

Feng Weiyi, hurry up!

The capsule is tilting over.

You have 15 seconds, you must return to the ship!

Hurry up, Pal!

I'm coming!

Ten, nine, eight, seven....

Six, five, four, three, two, one....

Take off.

The radar just detected that an unknown object was approaching us!

We're gonna crash.

Nothing we can do.

Ahhh…

[Chinese Wanhu Spaceship Mission: Landing on Europa]

Wow, so gorgeous.

It's my first time to take such a close look at Mars.

We are over Mars now.

Dad! Dad…

If your dad knew you're an astronaut now,

he would look at you with new eyes.

["Project Europa" Earth Space Flight Control Center]

Put him through.

Yes, sir.

Commander Liu,

my name is Frank. I'm the Commander for the Alliance of the Migration to Mars Project.

We have received the video and audio signals of extreme distress. They are asking for an urgent appeal for help.

[Frank Aphiton Director of the AMMP Space Agency]

This is Feng Weiyi.

We have been attacked by an unknown flying object and we failed to take off.

Now, we are trapped in this external tank compartment.

We need help and...

Ahhh... Ahhhhh!!!

We have sent SOS to the United States, Japan, Russia

and some other countries for help.

But it will take them at least 4 months of traveling time to get to us due to the vast distance between Earth and Mars.

We know that your Wanhu Spaceship is near Mars heading toward Europa,

we are requesting humanitarian assistance.

We need time to think about it.

Okay, we will wait for your decision.

Commander Liu, we've spent 8 years developing Project Europa.

We do not know what happened on Mars.

It would be risky to go there now.

If any accident happens, all the hard work will go for nothing.

Let's make a feasible plan first.

Yes, sir.

Zhang Lei, show me the video.

Yes, sir.

Okay, stop.

Ask the technical department to analyze the image and find out what it is.

Yes, sir.

[Gravity Module, Wanhu Spaceship]

Wow, it smells so good.

Here you are.

Oh, dumplings.

Dumplings? My favorite!

Everything is your favorite.

Give it to me.

Hey!

Not bad.

It's Chinese New Year's Eve today.

-Captain, take one. -Okay.

It's already New Year now?

You only care about your job.

We don't have festivals.

Being an astronaut is such a great honor.

My dad has always been proud of me.

Commander Liu.

Du Ping, listen to my order. Suspend the mission to land on Europa,

and fly to Mars.

The Alliance of the Migration to Mars Project just sent us a video for help.

Their escape pod was attacked by an unknown flying object

and failed to take off.

Four scientists' lives are at stake now.

The superior department has agreed to send you to rescue them.

An unknown flying object?

We do not yet know what it is.

The external image cannot help us identify it.

So, besides rescuing the scientists,

you have to find out what that thing is.

Please protect yourselves.

Later, we'll send you the orbital maneuvering plan and data on Mars,

including the map of the Mars Base and the operation guide of the Mars Rover.

Return safely.

Yes, sir.

You've heard that.

If we go to Mars this time,

we will miss the time when Earth is closest to Europa.

Will we have a second chance?

I know what you mean, Shan.

We had spent 8 years

doing research, training and making simulation tests.

And finally, we stood out among all the other teams and were sent here.

However, nothing is more important than life,

not to mention that among the trapped is a Chinese scientist,

Feng Tong's father.

We'll have another chance to go to Europa.

Right.

We're going to rescue the scientists of the AMMP, not only my dad.

To rescue them, we need to land on Mars by nightfall.

The temperature on Mars varies greatly between day and night,

and night temperatures there will be unfavorable for our landing.

Chen Shan,

you stay in Wanhu Spaceship to keep in touch with Earth.

Yes, sir.

He Shiqing, you take charge of logistics and medical care during the rescue.

Okay.

Li Xiang,

you will be responsible for biochemical research at the Mars Base

and identification of the unknown flying object.

Yes, sir.

I will drive the rover and Feng Tong will be my co-driver.

We must do our best to save them.

Just play it by ear at critical moments.

Are you clear?

Yes, sir.

Yes, sir.

Chen Shan, shift the orbit and fly to Mars immediately.

Yes, sir!

Captain, I've sent all the data on Mars to your spacesuit.

Roger.

Check your spacesuit to see if the data have been received.

Received.

Chen Shan, push the spaceship into orbit.

Flight Control Center…

The Rescue Team of Wanhu Spaceship has boarded the lander.

Everything is ready. Please give your order.

Roger. Depart immediately,

and ensure your safety.

Yes, sir.

The lander will be detached.

The countdown begins. Three, two, one.

Now the surface temperature of the landing site is minus 17 degrees centigrade.

The view area is clear.

The Rescue Team is prepared to land!

Roger that.

Hey.

There is something outside.

The radar has just detected that an unknown object

is approaching us!

It seems to be coming toward us.

Captain, what should we do?

Contact Chen Shan

and ask her to identify it externally.

Wanhu Spaceship, can you hear me?

Wanhu Spaceship…

This is Wanhu Spaceship. Go ahead.

Captain, the signal of the transponder is lost.

We lost connection with Wanhu Spaceship.

[Lost of Signal Connection Failure]

It's disturbing our radar signal.

What the hell is that?

Launch the manual thrust-reverser emergency control system.

Yes, sir.

I feel so terrible.

This is the low frequency resonance.

Suck your abdomen in and take a deep breath.

I feel that my guts are gushing out from my mouth.

Hold on, don't faint!

I can't control this.

Damn it, it is coming back.

It is speeding up.

[Collision Warning!]

Feng Tong, are you crazy?

How could you shut the thrust-reverser control system!

I cannot hold on any longer.

Hold on.

Dad! Dad! Dad!

Captain, you are injured.

Captain.

The red spot on the radar is gone.

That thing did not come down with us?

We are not sure yet.

Luckily, the microphone only scraped the corner of his mouth.

If it scratched his neck, the consequences can be very serious.

Feng Tong, check the data of the lander.

Yes, sir.

Its functional parameters show everything is normal.

But we don't have enough fuel.

[Fuel Shortage!]

We may be unable to take off again.

Let's look for fuel in the Mars Base later.

Okay.

That thing is gone.

It attacked the Alliance's escape pod.

When we were in the air, our lander was also attacked by it.

It seems to be very interested in flying objects.

I've shared with you the coordinates of the Mars Base.

Please check.

[Data synchronization is complete.]

Time is running out.

We need to split up.

Feng Tong and He Shiqing, find the escape pod and rescue the wounded.

Li Xiang and I will go to the Mars Base to look for fuel…

-And try to get in contact with Chen Shan. -Okay.

Let's act separately now.

Stay safe and keep in touch.

We'll go home together.

Yes, sir.

[Internal Monitoring Reconnect]

[Reconnect]

Damn it!

Flight Control Center.

I am Liu Ming, Commander of the Flight Control Center. Go ahead.

Wanhu Spaceship and the Rescue Team are disconnected.

We have to call for help.

Okay. Later we will authorize you to access all the communication channels on Mars.

Okay.

Try to reach the Mars Rover and the Mars Base.

Besides, I saw an unknown object looking like a sand ball above Mars on the meteorology monitor.

Send us the data and the meteorological chart you saw.

We will get it sorted.

Okay.

Look, the escape pod.

[Link signal match succeeds]

[Link signal match succeeds Confirmed]

The solar cell panel has been charged.

Li Xiang, let's save some time. You go to the base camp to look for fuel,

and check the video shot by the helmet camera.

I will drive the Mars Rover to pick up Feng Tong and Shiqing.

Okay.

Let's meet at the base camp.

Feng Tong,

send me the location of the escape pod as soon as you find it.

I have found the Mars Rover at the entrance to the base camp.

Now I'm coming to pick you up.

Roger.

We have found the escape pod.

I'm sending you the location.

[Coordinates have been built. Ready to send.]

Follow me.

How is he?

He has no vital signs.

Check it.

Who are you?

Don't be afraid.

We are Chinese astronauts of Wanhu Spaceship.

We are here to help.

Where is Feng Weiyi? He is your teammate.

The seat is empty.

Where is he?

I don't know.

How is she?

She is in a deep coma.

I can't determine the cause at the moment.

We need to take her to the base camp for further examinations.

Li Xiang, we have arrived at the base camp.

Where are you?

Li Xiang? Li Xiang?

Captain, let's just go inside.

Anna is in a critical condition.

Okay.

Be careful.

Come on.

Help me take her space suit off.

The pupils constrict normally.

Her head is okay.

Her hip joint is dislocated.

Guys, please go out. I'll reduce the joint to its normal position.

Richard, did you see what attacked you when you fell?

No, I didn't.

Our escape pod was spinning when it fell.

I fell unconscious.

What about Professor Feng Weiyi?

I have asked him.

Anna! Anna! Anna! Professor!

Regardless of what happened,

we need to go now to the base camp.

Otherwise, there will be no way to survive.

Let's search the other compartments later.

Li Xiang, is that you? Li Xiang?

Feng Weiyi?

It's me. I'm Li Xiang.

You scared me.

I just wanted to surprise you,

but you almost killed me!

I want to kill you with my chopper,

then you won't surprise us again!

Hurry up!

Anna? Anna?

Where is Professor Feng?

I will go and look for fuel.

Li Xiang, you go to look for Professor Feng with Feng Tong.

Let's act separately and stay in touch.

Yes, sir.

Feng Tong, look!

Let's go!

Come on.

How come there are water drops here?

Perhaps, the asteroid strike

caused the breakdown of the electricity system here,

so the evaporator failed to operate properly.

Let's look for him separately to save time.

Okay.

Feng Weiyi.

Professor Feng.

Feng Weiyi.

Feng Tong,

did you hear anything?

I just…

Hush!

Are you okay?

So smelly. What's this?

There is some unknown creature here.

My dad is probably trapped here. We have to find him fast.

Okay.

Ah!

Ah! Don't come here!

Professor Feng? Professor Feng.

Wake up, Professor Feng.

Feng Tong, I've found your dad.

Captain, we were attacked by an unknown creature.

Please come to the Plant Lab at once. We need help.

I'll be right there.

Richard, put the fuel on the Mars Rover.

We'll meet at the Main Control Zone later.

Okay.

Professor Feng.

Dad!

-What happened to my dad? What happened to him? -Feng Tong.

Your dad suffered head injuries.

I guess he is just temporarily unconscious.

Come here. Take care of him.

I will go and take a look.

Run!

Hurry up.

Move.

Go.

Are you okay?

Captain, if you had come one second later,

I would have become its dinner.

Is this Professor Feng?

Yes. He is in a coma.

Why should that thing appear at the Mars Base?

I don't know.

It's disgusting.

Well, let's go and find Shiqing.

Okay.

It's itchy!

Don't move!

Stop scratching it, or it will get itchier.

Here.

Stop. Don't scratch it.

Don't scratch it!

But… it itches here.

How do you feel now? Get some glucose.

I feel much better.

Have a good rest.

Thank you.

Shiqing, come here. My dad comes around.

Professor Feng got hit on the head, so he will still feel dizzy.

But there's nothing serious.

Professor Feng.

Tongtong,

why are you here?

You were taking care of Professor Feng while he was in a coma.

Why are you shy now?

Professor Feng,

we are Chinese astronauts of Wanhu Spaceship for Project Europa.

We come to Mars to take you back home.

Feng Weiyi, what happened when you left the escape pot?

When I woke up,

I found Anna and Thomas seriously injured.

So, I returned to the base camp to get the medicine.

I also sent an email to the Alliance to ask for help.

Just when I clicked the "send" button…

I kept running and running

for a long time.

It hurt my head.

I could finally have a break after I escaped into the Plant Lab.

I cannot remember what happened next…

Where is Richard?

The medicine and the injection gun I put here were both gone.

Commander Liu, due to dropped frames,

the video is so fragmented

that we're unable to identify the unknown flying object.

Also, as the data samples from Wanhu Spaceship are too small in number,

the interpretation continues to fail.

Of course, it could be due to meteorological conditions.

But at the moment, We cannot tell what the object is.

Keep trying.

Okay.

Commander Liu, here's the bad news.

As we observed, an asteroid which is 500 meters in diameter

is flying toward Mars at the speed of 90 kilometers per second.

It is estimated that it will hit Mars in 12 hours.

Contact Wanhu Spaceship.

Yes, sir.

Commander Liu.

Chen Shan, have you got in touch with the rescue team?

Not yet. I've been unable to reach them.

An asteroid will hit Mars in 12 hours.

The Rescue Team must complete the mission before the hit.

You must reach them as soon as possible.

Okay.

I can't believe it. You are growing.

No one can ever believe that you are the little one from the laboratory.

Don't worry.

This will help you get better faster.

What are you doing, Richard?

Shh, quiet. Don't disturb him.

He's the result of my endless research and findings.

What did you say?

The experiment, Weiyi, it worked.

I successfully changed the genes of them.

Them?

I've… I've been thinking very hard

about how to allow humans to adapt to the Martian atmosphere,

instead of changing the Martian atmosphere to adapt to humans.

Terraforming would take too long.

We may not even live to see the day.

Do you remember the asteroid shower last month?

I found very unusual creatures, lifeforms, on the rocks that you brought back to me.

And I was thinking, if they can survive all the way back to the lab,

and survive after that, then they are very adaptable to this climate.

So, I implemented my ideas on the chameleon and the baleen whale embryo.

So the flying creature out in the sky is also the result of your research?

Yes, that's right.

The first creature that I cultivated was the baleen whale embryo,

because its growth rate was ten times that of a human being.

And then when I combined it with the microorganisms from the asteroid,

their growth rate was as high as tens of hundreds of millions of times.

And then, I injected the genetic mutant fluid into the half breed

—the lizard and the chameleon combined—which was very originally vulnerable,

but I wanted, I hoped, that it would become more tenacious.

Unexpectedly, both succeeded.

Reptiles and mammals can both survive on the harsh Mars environment!

Feng Weiyi, do you know what this means?

This means that humans can emigrate to Mars after transformation.

This is simply the greatest discovery!

It's totally insane, Richard. And you've broken the rules, you know?

What rules?

Rules are meaningless in the face of the future of humanity…

Ahh!

Run!

Leave quickly. Go to the operating room

to take Anna with you. Go!

Move fast.

Anna, come with us.

Let's go.

This way.

Come on. Go.

What should we do now?

This thing blocked the only way out.

We are trapped here and will die if we don't get rid of it.

Animals are scared of fire.

We can scare it off with a flame gun and get out of here.

No, we can't leave it here.

It's a threat to both Earth and Mars.

Let me contact Chen Shan for her opinion.

Professor Feng, can I borrow your computer?

Of course.

Shiqing, give me the code.

Enter the code.

[Wanhu Files]

We must hurry up. It knows how to open the door.

Without weapons, we are no match for it.

I can make a simple bomb,

but it will be powerful enough to blow up the base camp

and kill the chameleon.

Professor Feng,

do you have any cleaning agent containing ammonia and liquid oxygen?

Yes, I do.

Great.

Feng Tong.

What?

Do you have electric wires?

Here you are.

Okay.

Guys, this is Wanhu Spaceship.

We received a message from the Flight Control Center.

An asteroid will hit Mars in 12 hours.

But now, you have only 10 hours left.

You must return to Wanhu Spaceship before the hit.

The message was sent by Chen Shan 6 hours ago,

so we have only…

4 hours left.

I need white sugar.

There is no sugar in this room.

It's in the living room,

but we have to cross the door to get it.

Captain, I will use the flame gun to attract the chameleon's attention.

Li Xiang will carry the bomb and get the sugar.

When I distract the chameleon,

you lead them out of here

and wait for us in the Mars Rover.

Let's do it this way. Feng Tong, you go out with me.

I move faster than Li Xiang.

Let me cover you with the flame gun,

And you take the bomb with you.

Okay.

Captain, I…

Stop. We have no time.

50 grams will work.

Li Xiang, take them away immediately!

Yes, sir! This way!

[Link Request]

Just now, the Flight Control Center received a weak signal from the Mars Base.

Chen Shan, did you receive it?

Yes, Commander Liu.

They sent an email to Wanhu Spaceship.

Du Ping said they had received the message about the asteroid strike

and that they were fine.

Okay. The asteroid will hit Mars in 2 hours.

It will probably fall near the lander

and cause great harm to them.

So the Rescue Team must complete the mission before that,

and you must keep in touch with them.

Yes, sir.

Wang Li, have you identified that thing on Mars?

Chen Shan, we have to wait for the Rescue Team to tell us what it is.

Go and get some sugar.

Okay.

Hey, you ugly chameleon, this way.

Feng Tong, hurry up.

It becomes invisible. I can't see it.

Hold on a second.

Captain, Chen Shan just contacted us.

She said the asteroid would hit Mars in 2 hours

and that it would have a devastating impact on the lander.

So you'll have to hurry.

Roger.

We will go out immediately after we install the bomb.

Keep in touch with Chen Shan

and ask everyone to get in the rover.

Roger that.

Captain, I am finished.

Let's go.

Feng Tong.

Feng Tong!

Captain, go! Just go!

Feng Tong!

Ahhh…

Feng Tong, Feng Tong.

Wake up. Are you okay?

Captain.

Go.

Captain, what are you doing?

Feng Tong,

I'll leave the team to you.

Captain.

The countdown device is broken,

so the bomb has to be exploded manually.

Hurry up, everyone is waiting.

Captain, open the door.

Let me explode the bomb!

Captain! Open the door! Open the door!

Feng Tong!

Feng Tong. I do this not to save you,

but to make it possible for you to save more people.

Both the Migration to Mars Project and Project Europa

are meant to save all the people on the earth

and pass our civilization on to future generations.

Now, you are more than a captain.

You have more important missions and responsibilities.

Promise me that you will take everyone home safe and sound,

and continue Project Europa.

Captain.

In fact, when I just came down,

I already had a reaction to the low-frequency resonance.

There is something wrong with my heart.

It may be impossible for me to board the spaceship.

Even if I get on the lander,

my heart will be unable to bear the load during take-off.

Please say sorry to my family and my kids for me.

I love them.

Captain, you said we would go home together!

You said that! Captain!

Sorry, I'm going back on my word.

Run!

When we take off,

that thing in the sky will definitely attack us again.

Why does this flying whale only attack spaceships?

Last time we were attacked after we took off.

Did you just say that it attacked you guys during the descent?

Is it because of the electromagnetic waves sent by the radar when the lander is launched?

Ah, yeah.

Whales have a highly developed sense of hearing and sonar system.

They navigate by echolocation.

That's how they look for food and avoid enemies.

The whale regards us as an enemy?

It's very likely.

Then how can we leave?

As long as we fly faster than it.

Come. Be careful.

I will go and install the fuel, you board the lander first.

He Shiqing, Anna has difficulty getting about.

Let her rest in the room on the second floor.

Okay.

I remember that you loved meteorites when you were young.

This is the first meteorite I picked up on Mars.

I was thinking that I must take it home for you.

I did not expect I would give it to you on such an occasion.

Do you have regrets?

Actually, I have always wanted to ask you a question.

Have you ever regretted it over the past several decades?

You're known as the first Chinese landing on Mars

and an astronautic hero,

but Mom and I could only see you on TV like everybody else.

Mom kept saying that,

on behalf of our country and the human race,

you were doing something marvelous.

But I'm always wondering what you were thinking about when you left us.

Why are you so obsessed with this bare planet?

Is it more important than your family?

I also have a question.

Have you ever been proud of me,

just for once or one moment?

If your answer is "yes", everything I've done will be worthwhile.

I'm sorry I didn't take good care of you and your mom.

Life is short. You get something and lose something else.

Our home is small, while the world is big.

However, fate is so magical.

Sometimes, one has to make a difficult choice,

and my choice is to serve the people,

because I hope our planet will become better

and that our future generations will have a safe

and reliable habitat.

Now, you are walking on the path I took.

But I hope you won't have the regret I had.

After the Migration to Mars Project is completed,

you will stay together with your children and watch them grow up.

Of course, I won't be able to see that day.

That's why I must work harder, do you understand?

Dad,

let's go home together and enjoy a reunion dinner with Mom.

I promise you.

[Starting]

The transponder functions properly. We can contact Chen Shan now.

Feng Tong, Shiqing, are you there?

Finally. I am Feng Tong.

I am so worried. Are you okay?

We're about to take off and dock with the spaceship.

The asteroid will hit Mars soon.

You must dock with Wanhu Spaceship within 15 minutes.

I will wait for you in the spaceship.

Roger.

15 minutes.

We had a calculation just now.

That thing flies at a speed of 40 meters per second.

It is now 16 kilometers away from us.

And the process from start-up to take-off lasts 7 minutes.

It can fly 16.8 kilometers within 7 minutes.

When we are leaving Mars,

it will probably crash into our lander.

Li Xiang and I made several different calculations,

but we cannot figure out a way to avoid it.

The asteroid will hit Mars in less than 10 minutes.

We have no time to cope with that whale.

I guess we have to kill it if we want to leave.

There isn't enough time.

And we don't know how to kill it.

We can take off at a different angle.

If we change the take-off angle,

it will misjudge the direction of our flight.

Then, we can change the angle again by taking advantage of the change in the fuel supply.

That is risky.

Yeah.

There is no time. We have to try.

Better than to be killed by it.

Too bad. I left my research data on the Mars Rover.

Wait for me. I will go and get it.

There is no time, Professor Feng. Forget the data!

The data are of high importance.

They are the result of our research on Mars.

We don't have such data on the earth.

If they are destroyed by the asteroid strike,

our two years' efforts will be in vain.

Let me go and get it for you.

No, I will come back quickly.

Dad.

Professor Feng.

Are these the data Professor Feng is looking for?

Professor Feng has driven the Mars Rover away.

He seems to be driving toward the escape pod.

Tongtong…

All the Martian data are stored on the USB flash drive.

I put it in between the pages of Li Xiang's notebook.

Please take it back.

I will handle the monster in the sky.

You must leave quickly!

Feng Weiyi, you liar! Come back!

Tongtong, I am sorry.

I have to break my word again.

Today I've met you and your teammates. I guess I can rest assured,

because I saw courage, wisdom, and confidence in you guys.

I know you have outperformed our generation.

You are the hope of the human race.

Now let me answer your question.

I have never regretted being an astronaut,

nor have I regretted coming to Mars.

You are an excellent astronaut.

Tongtong.

Though I have never praised you,

you are my pride all the time.

If there is an afterlife,

I will choose to be your dad again.

I will always be with you.

Dad! Dad!

Good bye, my son.

Dad, come back!

Dad, you are a liar.

You promised that you would go home with me.

Dad.

Please. Go home with me, okay?

Dad! Dad!

Feng Tong! What are you doing?

Let me go! He is my dad!

Feng Tong! Calm down!

Feng Tong!

You are our captain!

We have no time!

Du Ping sacrificed his own life to save us.

Professor Feng also made the same decision!

Do you want all our efforts to go in vain?

Sorry, buddy.

This is Feng Weiyi, Chinese scientist,

the Alliance of Project Mars. This is my last mission.

Good bye, my boy.

Sometimes one has to make a difficult choice,

and my choice is to serve the people,

because I hope our planet will become better,

and that our future generations will have a safe

and reliable habitat.

I hope you won't have the regret I had.

Get ready to launch Wanhu Spaceship.

All is ready.

Chen Shan!

The lander has successfully docked with Wanhu Spaceship.
