[Catch Up My Prince]

[Episode 9]

Lu Ren Jia, you can be released.

Come out.

It's uncommon to see someone leave the Department of Internal Punishment without any physical injuries.

Second Prince said not to. Who'd dare defy him.

You're right.

Ice Cube the Second? Why'd he save me?

Is it because he thinks I can still be used?

Xiao Jia, you're finally released!

You scared me.

I thought my mother was going to kill you.

Let me take a look.

Eleven and Nine.

Did Zhao Chen Yi

forget about me?

Her Majesty found the evidence, it's the artificial flower.

I've never touched the artificial flower, and passed it directly to Xiao Jia.

So you didn't do this, right?

If I say I didn't do it,

would Your Highness believe me?

You are my teacher's daughter, I'd believe what you say.

Thank you Your Highness for your trust.

But not everyone deserves Your Highness's trust like this.

What do you mean?

If I were to say she's the one who has something up her sleeve, would you believe me?

I believe in her. She's not someone like this.

So Your Highness believes in me because I am your teacher's daughter.

But Your Highness's trust towards her doesn't need any reason.

I now see that you are too deep into the trap she's set up

and nothing I say would be of use.

Don't say things like this in the future. I've promised my teacher.

You've promised him. And you've also promised me.

That you'd help me take revenge.

But did you do it?

I'm sorry.

Since Your Highness didn't do it,

then never mention going to Pin Liang Manor

don't ever mention

Xin'er.

If you still want to take revenge, your life is at stake.

So what if the Yu's are in Political Rehabilitation?

Your Highness doesn't have to worry about this anymore.

Your Highness! Your Highness!

Your Highness! Are you all right?

Second Prince hit you way too hard.

It's fine, I just have to rest for a few days.

With this, the fact that you know martial arts will be exposed.

That's not important, as long as Xiao Jia's fine.

I've escaped yet another close death.

Zhao Chen Yi,

do you know?

Actually everyone of us are just like stars in the sky.

Only by doing our best to shine bright, will other people notice us.

Thank you.

For accompanying me.

Do you like poems?

How about we make a poem related to stars?

The stars and wind of last night,

The magnificent building, west bank, and wooden buildings in the east.

Born without the wings of a phoenix, but our telepathy strings us together.

Telepathy is a difficult thing after all.

There isn't a fixed way of holding a pen. You have to make sure there are varied lines.

To write well,

your wrist has to be relaxed.

Your Highness,

Lady Xiao Jia has returned safely.

Your Highness.

No need to follow me.

♫ The waterfowls don't fly alone, as they leave the river bank ♫

How cold hearted. ♫ My eyes waver with you, looking far out ♫

You seem like you're so nice to me. But you're not giving me your love. ♫ Loving this bright fine day that's like clouds, like the skyline, like a dream, like you ♫

♫ The reasons keep coming, and my mind is in a mess Love has my mind clouded ♫

Sugar Cane the Fourth!

Xiao Jia, you're still up so late?

Are you waiting for me?

Eleventh Prince, it's you.

Why? You're not happy to see me?

No.

Here, I want to show you something interesting.

It's so late, where are we going?

Follow me. I'm sure it will blow away your dark clouds and make you happy again.

What is this? Wine?

This is the Cherry Blossom Wine my mother taught me to make.

It's so fragrant.

When I'm not happy, I would drink the Cherry Blossom Wine my mother makes.

Eleven, how old are you?

How can you drink wine in secret?

Why? I'm a prince and I can't drink wine?

Also, I'm not drinking in secret.

I'm tasting it openly.

My mother said,

this is made with the cherry blossoms from her hometown, Ji Mo City.

And this has to be drunk with someone important.

Oh right, Eleven, don't you have morning class tomorrow?

If you get drunk and can't recite the text, you will be punished by the Consort Dowager.

These Historical Records are so boring.

To me, the techniques in Luban's books

are more interesting.

Xiao Jia, I'm really interested in exploring things I don't know about.

Are you willing to do it with me?

Eleven, unfortunately, I can't reciprocate your love.

You're the Eleventh Prince, there are many people

willing to follow you everywhere.

I have my own things to do too.

Xiao Jia, what do you want to do? I can accompany you too.

Look, Eleven, those stars are shining so bright!

Is plucking stars what you want to do?

Then I will pluck them for you.

The Cherry Blossom Wine is sweet, but the alcohol content seems high.

Eleven lied to me that this wine wouldn't make me drunk.

Hang in there, Lu Ran Ran.

Hang in there.

- You scoundrel! - How dare you!

You are the heartless Sugarcane the Fourth.

Who are you talking about?

I said you are heartless.

Give me your hand.

You didn't come to see me when I was locked up.

Now that I've been released, you still didn't come to me.

Do you know I've been waiting for you?

Why are you waiting for me?

Waiting for you to comfort me, care for me, coax me.

I must be drunk and hallucinating.

You must be sleeping in your room right now.

You have to explain to me

why is it that I like you so much, but your favorable impression score for me has always been zero.

Are you heartless or are you just teasing me?

Teasing you? What is a favorable impression score?

What are you mumbling about? Say it louder.

I've been suffering all my life's grievances for you.

Why don't you like me at all?

I like you, and have always been good to you.

Just that I can't let anyone know. You silly pig.

[Pear Blossom Garden]

When did I come back?

My head hurts so much. Did I drink so much that I forgot what happened?

I didn't even take off the outer garment.

Forget it. Who cares. I shall continue to sleep.

Why did I dream of Miss Yun Zhu?

Is there any connection?

[Hanzhang Palace]

It was confirmed that Miss Yun Zhu is clean. Her household registration is normal.

After entering the palace, she became good friends with Miss Xiao Jia.

And she performed a song at Empress Dowager's birthday banquet.

There is nothing strange about her. However...

What is it?

However, she was just crowned as consort

and was sent to the cold palace for unknown reasons.

Sent to the cold palace?

Make a trip to the Cold Palace.

Find someone to make some connections

to take care of her. The cold palace is not an easy place to stay.

Our compassionate Fourth Prince is back?

Yun Zhu is Xiao Jia's friend. Shouldn't I take care of her?

- Is there any problem? - No.

Your Highness, since it's been so quiet in the Hanzhang Palace for so long,

why don't we get some singers to perform new songs?

We can...

Ouch!

I think your ears are itching to hear it, right?

Quick, get the job done.

Yes, Your Highness. I'll do it now.

Don't let her know that Yun Zhu has been sent to the cold palace.

I don't want her to worry.

Go now.

What are you doing here?

- Me? - Yes.

Do you know me? Who doesn't know Bao, the imperial bodyguard from Fourth Prince's palace?

Why are you here?

I know Lady Yun Zhu's friend.

She asked me to deliver something.

You can pass me the things and leave. Not everyone can enter the cold palace.

How is Lady Yun Zhu doing? Can I see her?

No. Give me the things.

Alright. Then make sure to hand it over to Miss Yun Zhu.

Why would someone from the Fourth Prince's palace send something to Her Ladyship in the cold palace?

[Xu Manor]

Not bad. You've done a good job.

Thank you for praising me.

Wait until the right time

and get rid of all those in the Court of Judicial Review.

Who is it?

Lord, I'm Ah Wu.

Come in.

- Lord. - Why did you come back?

I came to deliver this.

Xiao Bao from Fourth Prince's palace

delivered these things to Lady Yun Zhu.

I stopped him.

Why would his people approach her?

He said it was a delivery on behalf of Lady Yun Zhu's friend.

I wanted to take my time to deal with him.

I didn't think I would be forced

to do it earlier.

Xiao Jia, why are you back so late? I've been waiting for you.

Miss Xin Er, why are you here?

You're back in one piece, so of course I had to come see you.

Look, I even brought you some snacks.

You don't have to bring snacks.

Just tell me straight. What exactly do you want from me?

Xiao Jia, I always thought we are friends.

You had such trouble, of course I have to come and show my concern.

Don't you think so?

Xiao Jia, do you have some misunderstanding about me?

The Empress Dowager said I plotted against the Crown Prince.

She imprisoned me in the Department of Internal Punishment without hesitation and took my silk flower away.

May I interpret the problem to be

the silk flower?

Miss Lu, the Fourth Prince gave the silk flower to you.

What does it have to do with me?

I didn't say it had anything to do with you. Miss Xin Er, what are you nervous about?

I appreciate your kindness. I will not eat the snacks.

I'm not in a good mood today, so I won't keep you.

This way, please.

There must be something wrong with Miss Xin Er.

What is that silk flower all about?

No. I have to ask Sugarcane the Fourth for clarification.

Your Highness, these are some desserts Lord asked me to bring over.

If you have anything you need,

please feel free to tell me.

I would like to go out for a walk.

It's best if you don't leave unnecessarily.

Your Highness, if there's anything you need to do, I can help you with it.

In that case,

can you help me pass this letter to Lu Ren Jia who is posted to Yongyan Palace?

Yes. I will definitely pass over

such a small thing for you.

Xiao Jia.

Lord.

This is Her Highness, Lady Yun Zhu's letter she wants me to pass over to Lu Ren Jia.

It's hard to say what's going on, but I am now in the Cold Palace.

Xiao Jia, I want to meet you. Can you come meet me?

She's still in the Cold Palace,

why is she still thinking about that Xiao Jia.

Lord?

It's fine. Just tell her

that this letter has been delivered to Lady Lu.

Yes.

The ambush failed, but he was poisoned with the Mana-Depleting Poison.

Well do. Go back for now.

Yes.

Bao.

Lady Xiao Jia.

Where's Fourth Prince?

His Highness happens to be out for and errand and is not back yet.

He's not back yet... When will he be back then?

Is there something urgent? I can pass it on to him.

It's fine. I will tell it to him personally.

Go back in.

About the artificial flower, I have to make it clear with him personally.

Lord Xu?

-Everyone, come over. -Quick.

Lord Xu.

There aren't that many clothes and supplies in the Cold Palace,

so I brought you some.

Take a look and see if you like it.

-Here, hurry. -Lord Xu, I don't understand.

The conditions in the Cold Palace are not ideal. I don't want to see you suffering.

You shouldn't be suffering here either.

Your Highness. Your Highness!

Slowly.

Your Highness.

Your Highness, why are you so badly injured?

I was going to meet Lord Yuan secretly tonight but got ambushed.

After the impeachment of Xu You Zheng, has Lord Ruan become a target?

Lord Ruan was dragged into this by me. It's likely that it'd be more danger than it is luck.

You're so badly injured, let me get the Imperial Physician.

No.

If you get an Imperial Physician, how do I explain my injuries?

Your Highness, I'm afraid your injuries can't be cured with the medication we currently have.

It's fine. Go get the medication.

-Yes. -Also.

Go to Tao Yao Court and tell them I won't be able to make it for the meeting today. Go quick.

Understood.

Mana-Depleting Poison.

Look, she's the one.

-What about her? -She was sent to the Department of Internal Punishment but returned without a single injury.

Seems like Your Highness is in a good condition today.

It's all thanks to you taking care of me these days.

This is what I am supposed to do.

That's a lot of medicinal herbs, why is no one helping her?

That's Lady Lu! She's already been released?

It must be my mother who have investigated thoroughly and found out that Xiao Jia is innocent.

I heard that it was Eleventh Prince who kept pestering in Yongan Palace.

It must be that Her Majesty couldn't take it anymore and released Xiao Jia.

Invite Xiao Jia over. I still need her to help me with healing my health.

Miss. Her Highness would like you to go over.

Greetings Your Highnesses.

Don't stand on ceremony. Why are you standing so far away?

Have a seat.

But I–

We don't think of you as a lowly servant.

Wipe your tears, and take His Highness's pulse.

Here.

Such a kind couple. How can I repay their kindness?

His Highness's condition still hasn't improved. He still has a Chi deficiency.

I guess this is also why they haven't had a child even after all these years.

Lady Xiao Jia, do you have any good news?

Your Highness, there is nothing too bad about your health. You just have to continue resting.

However, I would like to ask, Your Highness,

has it been unsuccessful in trying to get a child?

This is the biggest regret Hui and I have.

There we go.

But don't worry, your health is already getting a lot better. Her Highness is still young too.

As long as you two can cooperate with me, I'm sure you will be able to have a child soon.

Really?

-Your Highness! -That's great.

Since Your Highnesses trust me so much, I won't let your trust down.

However, Your Highness, you'd have to cooperate with me too. After all, getting a child is about two people.

Of course, of course! Lady Lu, please take a look for me.

Your Highness, you don't have to call me Lady Lu. Call me Xiao Jia.

Your Highness.

Your Highness, are you sure you don't need an Imperial Physician to check your condition?

It's been three days, and your wound isn't healing.

No need.

If you're worried, how about I look for Lady Xiao Jia instead?

I can't drag her into this too. What's the situation like outside?

I have been telling them that you haven't been feeling well

and took a leave from the Ministry of Rites. His Majesty hasn't asked.

There hasn't been any news from Traitor Xu either.

That's good. Take your leave first.

Yes.

This Mana-Depleting Poison can't be treated even by you.

-Greetings, Your Majesty. -Did you bring her?

She is just outside the palace.

Bring her in.

Yes.

Come in.

Greetings, Your Majesty.

Lift your head.

Your features are delicate.

I am in fear.

What are you afraid of? I won't eat you up.

I find you very familiar-looking. Have I seen you before?

How would I, a lowly servant, have met Your Majesty.

You look very similar to a Lady I know.

That Lady's husband is from the Yu family.

No need to belittle yourself. You are very pretty.

It's just that your hair accessories are too plain.

Your Majesty, this artificial flower–

This artificial flower is too plain. I shall gift you two golden prongs.

Why? Can't bear to part with this artificial flower?

Or, does this artificial flower have a significance to it?

You're mistaken, Your Majesty.

There's nothing special about this artificial flower.

Say, if His Majesty finds out that the Fourth Prince has been hiding

the Yu's Political Rehabilitation, what would happen?

Here.

I said I won't hurt you.

The Yu's have a bad fate.

What does Your Majesty want?

What are you talking about? What could I ask of you?

You're quite wary.

I'm only pitying you.

I will help you. How does that sound?

Do you think if I can find about about what you did,

Queen Mother wouldn't know? The Fourth Prince wouldn't know?

At that point of time, no one would be able to protect you.

If even the Fourth Prince can't help you, what would you do?

Your Majesty,

How about you consider joining hands with me?

Xiao–

Lady Xiao Jia.

Is Fourth Prince back?

It's not that I'm not letting you in. It's that Fourth Prince doesn't want any visitors.

Why does it reek of medicine?

Is he not seeing any visitor, or is this targetted at me?

No, no. You are mistaken. He's not seeing any visitor.

Fine. Be that way.

I'll let him be. I'm leaving.

How dare you Sugar Cane the Fourth. Refusing to meet me?

Smells so good. This has to be ginseng chicken that's cooking.

Hold on, speaking of smells...

What's that smell on Bao?

It seems to be dried rehmannia glutinosa,

dipsacus, and crow-dipper.

Bao is so active,

could it be...

Sugar Cane the Fourth?

Your Highness, you're awake. Lady Xiao Jia came over several times.

Since she's so concerned about you, should we just let her in and take a look at you?

No.

I know the identity of those men in black.

Xu You Zheng isn't afraid of me at all.

It'd be too dangerous to drag her into this.

But, if you don't treat your injury properly, you'd be the one in danger.

I'm fine.

I'll recover in a few days.

That must be Lady Xiao Jia again.

-Send her away. -Yes.

Come back. Be gentle.

Yes.

Lady Xiao Jia.

Is Fourth Prince in?

His Highness is in, but he's not taking visitors.

This way please.

I see what's going on.

You said you wanted to see me everyday, now you won't even see me.

Do you still have any conscience?

Then tell me the truth. Is he injured?

I can't tell you.

My dear Bao.

Lady Xiao Jia, why are you pushing me?

You're running so quickly too. Stop right there!

Your Highness, I can't hold her back. Your Highness!

Zhao Chen Yi.

Are you injured?

No.

Have you seen the Imperial Physician?

You haven't see the Imperial Physician, right?

How many days has it been?

I've applied medication.

You've applied medication to stop bleeding, why is there still so much puss coming out of the wound?

-Let's not talk about me. You're all drenched like a pig. -What are you saying?

I'm sorry.

Did I hurt you?

Zhao Chen Yi, Zhao Chen Yi. Zhao Chen Yi!

Zhao Chen Yi, wait for me.

Let me bring you hot water and some gauze.

Lady Xiao Jia, how's His Highness's injury?

It's actually, not looking too good.

Even if it's a normal injury, it's been so long,

there should be at least some signs of recovery.

But looking at him now, his blood still smells.

I think he must've been poisoned.

What should we do then? His Highness wouldn't let me get the Imperial Physician, even you...

I barged in by myself.

Bao, take this prescription,

and make the medication. Boil four bowls of water into one bowl.

He's losing too much blood. He needs this to replenish his blood and Chi.

Understood.

Xiao Jia.

I'm here. I'm here.

Don't leave.

I'm not leaving.

Don't leave.

I'm not leaving.

Sugar Cane the Fourth, I don't blame you.

I'm not angry at you anymore either.

Even if you are hot and cold towards me everyday,

can you wake up quickly?
