I don't know where to begin.

I mean, Evah won,
then Melissa quit.

And there was this big argument,

and now we're kind of
left at what do we do now?

So last week. That was um-

- I was really angry and
frustrated in the moment

with Melissa because I feel
like she was calling us out

for being two faced.

I feel like she was calling
us out for not being real.

I don't know. It was,
it was blind sighting.

And it was, and it was strange.

- If I asked Melissa,

And she tells me, I'm
gonna believe her.

- Yeah, absolutely.

- And that's all
I can go off of.

I'm not gonna try to pull it out

of somebody and be like, mm.

- If we look back at it,

the things that they
are calling us out on,

it's so also contradictory
because I feel like

they haven't been
as real as they say.

like I feel for Melissa,

I know what it's like
to be in the bottom,

but at the same time,

some of the things that were
brought up, no one is innocent.

guilt about Melissa quitting.

It does not feel good, but
I also feel frustrated.

I wanted at all.

I didn't want yell at her.

I didn't want to say, fuck you.

I didn't wanna do any of that.

Like I care about them deeply.

like we are getting blamed

for just defending
ourselves the best we can.

The fact I am going to
state here on this good day

is that every person in this
room right now has two faces,

are contributing to the problem.

And that's an example of

and how it's affecting us now.

It is unfortunate that
in this day and age,

it takes that level of
energy to feel heard

and it's clear that Melissa
didn't hoot and holler

because she wanted to stay.

That was not a performance,
that was not for attention,

that was out of pure hurt.

That comes from a place
where you let walls down

around people that you
thought you could trust.

That's where a lot
of my rage came from.

A person that let their guard
down to us is no longer here

by their own admission
because we made them feel

that unwanted and miserable.

I hate that I had to read
y'all as hard as I did,

but I genuinely felt like
there was no other way

for y'all to understand
exactly how actions

that don't seem to affect
others can simply have an effect

on them by happening
around them.

I knew by being harsher on them,

they would for sure take
me seriously and understand

severity of the situation,

because I know that if
I get too emotional,

I'm immediately marked off

as just being angry and then
I'm not taken seriously.

- I think it was a little
harsh way to go about it,

but it got the point across
and I'm just glad that we are

talking about it now.

- I don't want us to
continue on a bad road

We'll be getting to those
gory details soon enough.

- For now, it's time to talk
about this week's challenge,

which is a reinterpretation
of one of our favorite themes

from season four.

The horror icons
makeover challenge.

- Ah yes. Okay.

- You must use your cunning
and creativity to completely

reinvent a classic horror icon

and model your new
look on the main stage.

You can choose a horror
icon from any medium,

including film, TV, comic books,
video games, or literature.

But remember, we are not
looking for cosplay here.

We want you to take the
story and concept of these

iconic monsters and
completely reinvent their look

in a new and original way.

The challenging part is that
we still need to be able

to recognize who
your character is.

So consider all of this
when designing your look.

- As a second part
to the challenge,

you must reenact a famous scene

from your horror icon's
most memorable moment.

Consider what scene in their
history best represents them,

and how your new
interpretation of them

will look and feel in one
of their classic scenes.

- We'll be filming
your reenactment

and creating a mini
short of your scene

for the judges to review.

And this week's judge is quite
literally THE horror expert.

So make sure you give this
challenge all you've got.

- Now let's talk about
your next Fright Feat.

In a few minutes you'll
be individually tied

to our truth teller
electric chairs.

While you are all strapped
down and facing each other,

each of you will be allowed to
ask questions of one another

that must be answered
honestly as registered

by our lie detector test.

If you tell a lie or refuse
to answer a question outright,

you'll be shocked with
4,500 white hot volts

of electricity.

If you think there's
something we need to know

about one of your
opponents before we make

our final decision,

now is your chance to
bring it all to light

It's not that I don't
believe that I can be there,

I have, I'm the only one here

who hasn't won a challenge yet.

I went earliest on my season,

and I do think a
lot of people here

might be better than me.

That doesn't mean I
don't love what I do,

it doesn't mean that I
don't believe in what I do.

But part of me is hoping
that somebody will speak up

and say that they do see
me in their top three,

but it's not happening and
I can't lie it kind of,

kind of stings.

- It's just a machine.

That contraption is probably
made out of EVA foam

and wires.

- It's not about whether or
not the machine is wrong.

Because at the end of the day
what I did was I was truthful,

right? I spoke from my heart.

I didn't need a
machine to tell me

whether that was true or not.

Because I knew I was
telling the truth.

- I feel like Astrud's
just completely given up

at this point.

I guess if she doesn't feel
ready, she doesn't feel ready.

- Well. In the same light,

the common question that I saw
that was answered truthfully

was how much we don't
trust each other.

- And before recent events
I feel like we would've

said that we trust
each other more.

to not trust each other.

in a kind of a funny way

where it's like,

well now that I know that we
don't all trust each other,

I kind of trust everybody
a little bit more.

feels comforting

in a place like this.

because you don't know
who's capable of what.

When you're in a pressure
cooker type situation like this.

- I feel like the
lie detector test

kind of released some
tension a little bit.

The fact that it being
revealed that nobody

trusts each other kind of
made us trust each other more

in a sense is hilarious to me.

It's very perfectly Dragula.

- Girl, I keep getting close

We rely on each other, right?

- But we don't fucking

if there's one person
who doesn't trust

one other person, that
affects everybody.

But at least now we're on
the same playing field.

I don't think it's the lack
of trust that brought us

together. I think it was
the honesty that did.

I think it's the fact that
we laid everything out

on the table and everyone
truly understands

how we feel about
each other now.

I had my doubts, Evah,

that you were being
a hundred percent

honest and truthful
with your thoughts.

But it was, it was cool
to hear that you know,

you believe you have been
a hundred percent truthful

in this competition.

- I'm really happy with
how everything went

with the lie detector test
because I have nothing to hide.

I'm an open book and I'm
glad the truth is out there.

- I feel like in a weird
way that kind of bonded us

a little bit as a cast.

- Somehow when we're
being tortured together.

Let's start working on
what we need to work on

for this next challenge.

- Honestly. Sounds good.

- We need to get to work, bitch.

- I've got some shit to do.

So for horror icons, I've
chosen to do The Predator.

I feel like because I won
this challenge on season four,

people are gonna
compare the two looks,

regardless of what I do.

So might as well make it
a little bit of a meme

and give them that classic
Alien VS. Predator moment.

But for the twist,
for this look,

I've given it a sort of
a cyberpunk aesthetic.

So I like the idea
that this character

is so into The Predator that
they've turned themselves

into one essentially.

And right now what I'm
doing is attaching glow wire

to the whole thing so
that it'll light up.

These are little like
school binder clip things,

like paperclip things,

but they work wonderfully
as fake studs.

I just take either side of the
wire and put the binder clip

thingy on both sides and then
I can just pierce it straight

into the foam just like
that and boom, it's in.

So I'm super excited for
this week's challenge.

- So my inspiration for
horror icons is from Sadako,

from the ring, not Samara-

Samara's the white girl
that wishes can be Sadako

because she's in the remake.

No, I'm doing specifically
Sadako from the 1998 film,

the legendary, "The Ring"
that changed the scape

of Asian horror completely.

And this character means so
much to me and my culture.

So I wanted to represent that.

I wanted the dress to
have a structure to it

while looking water
damaged and really gross.

I've incorporated this
synthetic hair that I wet

with hair gel that kind of
got weaved into the dress

to create these
swirls and stuff.

But the gag comes from all
the props that go with it.

So this is a prop TV that
pops on my head like so.

And I thought it would
be a cool kind of fashion

runway-esque moment to kind
of revisit the TV crawl,

the iconic scene
from "The Ring".

And I have all these VCR
tapes grossly tangled up

with hair that I'm
gonna use for prop.

And right now I'm
drying fake blood paint

to kind of distress it and
make it all gory and bloody.

- Well, my inspiration
for this week's challenge

is actually a secret, but
if you're smart enough,

I'm sure you can figure it out.

I'll be using four way
stretch black vinyl,

maybe some red...
and some long hair

to emulate my horror icon.

- All right, well today's
been a really long day.

I'm sure we could
all use some rest.

So let's pack up and
get the fuck outta here.

with those big hairy
buff arms of hers.

from their chosen
icon's body of work,

and present it here
on the main stage.

Here to help us judge
tonight's floorshow

is an iconic horror
figure in his own right

and the man who knows
the most about slashers

on the silver screen.

Tonight, we've challenged
our remaining competitors

to create innovative new looks
inspired by some of the most

famous figures from
horror history.

As a second part
to the challenge,

our drag monsters must also
act out their horror legend's

most iconic scenes in a mini
short here on the main stage.

I do wish my sisters well,

but these bitches have
been coming for me all week

and I can't wait to get my
new claws wrapped around

their scrawny little necks.

So without further ado,
let's dim the lights,

I've changed a bit since
you've last seen me.

I love what we do.

God, tonight's floorshow
was so incredible.

- What about what they did?

- It's gonna be- well
they, they were okay too.

Now it is going to be so
difficult to narrow this down.

- Tonight we're gonna decide
who the top three are.

Let's talk about how we felt
the competitors did tonight.

- Yes.

- And how do we feel about
each of these competitors

as far as how they've done
overall in the competition.

Because to me, I'm
considering all that tonight.

- Of course.

So let's start with Koco.

- What a huge risk.

- You know, flattery
will get you everywhere.

(laughing)

- I think choosing to
do our floorshow intro

as the horror icon
moment was really smart.

- Koco took the inspiration
and the source material

and changed it and
made it their own.

The blood became jewels, the
hair went black and super long.

I saw Koco in the drag.

I absolutely saw us in the drag.

It was excellent.

- The only thing is I think
we should have gave them

the same treatment.

So I think we could have
like put a heat blaster-

- Oh yeah.

- On Koco.

- 50 Distractions.

- And I think maybe read some
nasty emails right before

to distract them.

- I think Koco's
journey through Dragula

has been a very exciting one.

- One of the things I
really love about Koco

is that they are kind of DIY
and punk about their drag.

I love artists who can make
things with their hands,

and who if you give
them a challenge,

they can turn around something
incredible in two days.

- And Koco's career
is kind of young.

They're still evolving.

We saw that evolution kind
of like right in front of us.

They haven't peaked yet.

I feel like they're kind
of just getting started.

That's something to consider.
- I agree.

So let's move on to Astrud.

- I was not a huge
fan of this look.

- Really?

- I felt like I could see
the bike helmet of it all.

- I don't know.
I wasn't into it.

- I was a fan of this look and
I thought it was kind of cool

to bring it to this
neon super future.

- Well-

- and hold on-

The worst part about it
for me though, don't-

Don't go there.
- You don't, don't.

Don't do that shit to me.

(laughing)

The challenge wasn't just
to come up with a cool look.

They had to reenact an
iconic scene this character

is known for and I thought
this was an afterthought.

- She didn't do anything
for the performance.

- There was the decapitation
and the pull of the spine,

but if you couldn't read
that, that's a problem.

- I think that she's come
so far since her season,

and obviously there's been
a lot of growth since then,

but I do not feel like
she's ready to kind of go on

to win the show.

And they did interrupt you
on season four that one time.

(laughing)

- Astrud performed very well
throughout this competition.

- Absolutely. Absolutely.

- I just don't know if
they're ready to compete

at the highest tier
of this competition.

- So let's talk about HoSo next.

- HoSo's incredible
reimagining of "The Ring".

- From the moment she came
out with the TV screen

around her and then the
TV on the head. Double TV.

- Yes.

- I'm into it.

- Very meta.

- And then it was great.

The garment became fashion.

All of the elements that
are signature elements

of this character
were kind of sniped,

tucked and reimagined.

- So let's talk about how
HoSo's done this season.

HoSo did very well
on season four,

arguably almost won.

Immediately went
on tour with us,

which is exhausting.

- Exhausting.

- And immediately came back
here and did this again.

- Very impressive.

- With no break. That
shows serious dedication

and tenacity and has not cracked
once during the whole time.

- But she's so young,
she's got so much energy

and I'm glad to see it.

- I'm gonna suck a
little bit of that out.

- I need a little
bit of it. Give it.

- Share in your youthful energy.

Let's talk about Victoria.

- Excellent job.

- Amazing.

- Remember the note that
we gave her last week was

you're being a little too
literal with the challenges,

but I felt like tonight
she absolutely gave us

Victoria merged with
the Crypt Keeper.

- Yeah.

- And a little homage
to us too. See again.

- And the horror icon
moment was so connected

to this character.

It's what we all know and
love about the Crypt Keeper.

Victoria welcomed
us into her world.

We saw the book, we were kind
of experiencing the tale,

but she made it her tale and
she made it a Tale of Dragula

and it was just a
really successful way to

take this character and
reimagine it exactly the way

we challenged her to.

- Victoria's been
very consistent, the
whole competition.

- Yes.

- I am impressed once again.

Victoria after her season
went home and just continued

to hone her craft and is an
incredibly powerful drag artist.

- Victoria has definitely
found her inner strength

and we see that on stage
and we also see that

in the boudoir.

We see that on the
show in the round

and we are considering
all of this when we decide

who's going to go
on to the finale.

All right, let's
talk about Evah.

- Yes.

- So Evah looked great.

I did feel like she had
some challenges though.

I felt like the prosthetics
were coming off of her face

as she was doing her floor
show and she kept trying

to put it back on and it
was like flapping right off.

- My issue with it is
that it was too spot on,

almost a redo of the original.

I needed a reinterpretation.

It might seem so minute,

but at this stage
these things do matter.

- Well what do you think
of Evah's performance

during the season?

- Evah's performance
is top notch.

I feel like when they're
excited about the challenge,

it's a bullseye.

And then if the challenge
maybe isn't that exciting,

we see a diminished Evah.

- Yeah.

- The wrestling challenge-

- Right.

- My question is though, is she
ready to compete at the top?

- Here's my issue.

We ended up saving two
people when we should have

sent someone home on
a previous episode

and Evah is the one
that would've went home.

Now that I have to decide
who to send home tonight,

it makes me feel like it's only
fair that it should be her.

- I think we saved her
so that we could see more

from Evah Destruction
and we have,

and now we have a new
challenge to judge.

- Look, we said there was
gonna be a price to pay, right?

And what the price to pay is.

You had better, now
that we spared you,

outdo everyone else so that
you don't go home again.

Did she do that?

No, she did great,
she maintained,

but did she do better than them?

Clearly tonight she
is not winning. So no.

- Drac you're always
very good at the rules,

but I'm good at breaking them
and I'm glad we kept Evah

and it's our show, we
can do what we want

and I'm not sure what's
gonna happen with her yet.

- We'll see.

which I think is crazy
because depending on who wins,

this could go a
variety of directions.

- We're going to offer each
of you a bit of critique

and we're going to
start with Victoria.

- Victoria, you have the
Crypt Keeper look down.

I mean it's
absolutely terrifying.

I love the way that you
did the performance.

Do you do voiceover work? Cause-

- No, not at all.

- Really?

I don't know if the person
who does the Crypt Keeper

is still alive, but you could
probably scoot them over

and take, have their job.

- You got a job.

I don't know what your Crypt
Keeper hair is made out of,

but it is scary.

Your monologue was terrifying.

I liked what you did
in the attempt to bring

the Crypt Keeper
out of his chair

and show us maybe what's
going on behind those eyes.

- Thank you.

- I think you really came
to life with this character.

I don't often see you
performing in that way.

You were just owning the room.

- Thank you.

- Victoria I love the way
you infuse your horror icon

with Victoria Black.

For the Crypt Keeper you
really struck that sweet spot

of the nod to the icon,

but also keeping true to
the artist behind the icon.

- So happy it showed
through. Thank you.

- Victoria's look is great,

but a part of it just seemed
a little simple and I-,

and I wanted more.

- Moving on to Astrud.

- Astrud, that was a bold
choice because you chose

a creature that actually
relies half on special effects.

You approximated those effects
by decking yourself out

like a sinister Christmas
tree with lights

going off everywhere.

So you actually did an
amazing thing because

you put CGI on stage.

- The one thing that I
did have a concern was

I know how hard it's
to work with a prop

and it just seemed like
it wasn't cohesive,

a little bit with the movement.

It would look like it
was challenging for you

with the actual prop and the
whole ripping of the head.

I was looking forward
to that 'cause it's such

an iconic moment with the
spine being ripped out.

It was stopping you from
becoming fully the character.

- A hundred percent.

- I love that you chose Predator

because you've completed
the Alien VS. Predator movie

that we've been
making up in our mind.

That's the reason why
I did it. Literally.

I have a criticism about
the scene reenactment,

because we needed this
iconic movie moment,

and I feel like that
piece fell a little short.

- It may have been a
little challenging for you

because you chose a
character that couldn't speak

to do your reenactment.

I think the look
is very creative.

I don't think it's your
strongest look you've had

on the season, but
I think it's good.

I feel like I'm seeing almost
like some club style clothes

mixed in there that may be
throwing me off a little bit,

but I think it's an
interesting interpretation.

- Thank you.

- The cyberpunk take that
Astrud took on the Predator

was really cool, but
I think I preferred

Melissa's bedazzled
Predator instead.

- Let's talk about HoSo.

- You're my favorite tonight.
I knew exactly who you were.

I mean the devil
is in the detail

and tonight you took us to hell.

Not a moment was lost and
it was a full performance

from beginning to end.

So I have nothing but positive,
positive critique for you.

- Thank you so much.

- This performance
from you was stellar.

It was very shocking almost
to kind of come around

the corner and see
the TV on your head.

With the TV behind you, it
just really sold the horror

and you brought it. You were
scary. Your props were great.

I just think you did
a really great job.

- Was it great?

- It was great.

- Great!

- What's cool about it is you,

you brought the look to
a very fashionable place.

You took the tape and it went
through and into the hair

and then the hair kind of
went through and into the look

and the look kind of went
through and into the tape.

It just kind of seemed
like this unending cycle

of like hellish video
horror, which is "The Ring".

So I thought you
did a great job.

- It was great?

- It was great.
- Wow!

- Great!

I think that the hardest
thing about doing the girl

from "The Ring" would be how
to get people to identify

the girl from "The Ring".

And you did it immediately
with the TV set.

And I love the dangling
VHS tapes off the side

because by the end of it
you looked like a zombie

who crawled up out of the
last surviving Blockbuster

after it was destroyed in
an earthquake or something.

It was just great.

- Maybe we should change
your name to HoSo The Great.

- HoSo The Great.

- That's great!

- I really enjoyed HoSo's
interpretation of "The Ring",

but without that TV girl,
she'd been have been fucked.

- Next is Koco.

- So you win the award for
being the bravest contestant

tonight because you chose
a horror icon that is known

by 100% of the audience.

So you're just saying
judge me everybody.

The Boulets obviously
are horror icons.

I don't know if you
were going for Drac

or you were going for Swan,

but I think it's a good
combination of the two.

entire world of horror

to choose from and you chose us.

I have to commend you on
your superior taste level.

It was very brave to
choose us because I think

it was a huge risk.

You could have fell really
far if you fucked it up

and you did not.

you for that too.

world and the way the world

sees this kind of
performance art.

stones in a new adventure

Is the prosthetic on this side?

It seemed like you were
having a little bit of trouble

with it during the floorshow.

- It was towards the end.

The lip kind of came up,
but I mean you roll with it.

- Well I think chewing gum
probably loosened it I assume.

- So I'm gonna start
with my only criticism.

- Okay.

- Which is, it's so
close to the original.

I think the only change
would be the silhouette.

It is a deadly silhouette.

I love the spiky hips
and matching shoulders.

The difference that pops out
is like she was in a gown

and you've transformed the
look into like the body suit,

which I like, but is it enough?

I don't know. I think about it.

However, everything else,

like you bring it
to us every ball.

Oh my God, you are
just a powerhouse

when it comes to performance.
