Kamal Haasan starrer Vikram has hit the big screens yesterday(June 3rd, 2022). It has been a treat for all Kamal Hassan fans. Suriya’s Cameo as Rolex made fans cheer all through that 5 minutes. Though 5- 10minutes is a short duration, His screen presence with a terrific performance made “Rolex” an outstanding role.

His character has a connection to Lokesh Kanagaraj’s and Karthi’s previous blockbuster film “Kaithi“. This marks the sequel to this movie through Rolex Character. Suriya’s character as Rolex has totally become the talk of social media now.

Lokesh Kanagaraj’s film “Vikram” is getting a positive response from the audience. Fans are loving the thriller and have praised all three, that is, Kamal Haasan, Fahadh Faasil, and Vijay Sethupathi for their performance in the movie. Before the film’s release, Kamal Haasan had revealed that he and Suriya had been in talk of doing a film for his banner RKFI, but it had been delayed due to various reasons. He also stated that it took only a phone call to Suriya to get him to do the cameo in ‘Vikram‘ as “Rolex” without even having to meet and explain his role. Kamal has already confirmed that Suriya will likely be on board for ‘Vikram 3’ which is likely to be helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.

According to the latest reports, Suriya will be paid the highest salary in his career for “Vikram 3”. Suriya is well known for his performance in experimental films such as Ghajini, Vaaranam Aayiram, 7aum arivu(7th Sense), Maattrraan,24, Soorarai Pottru, etc. This time he has tried out a different and a never seen role in his career. It is a fact that Suriya has given his career-best performance in this film. Earlier, Suriya has rarely played a negative role like “Athreya” in his previous film “24“.

It is surprising that Suriya had predicted that he would be playing the villain to his younger brother Karthi eight years ago. Suriya said that during his childhood days at home he was a silent villain while Karthi was the good boy. He also mentioned that his wish is to act as a silent villain against Karthi playing a character with the holy ashes applied on his forehead. It seems that finally, Suriya’s wish came to be true in form of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s direction. Also, many fans are eagerly waiting to watch Suriya and Karthi together on big screens.
